I just thought it would be good to have a thread where we could pool resources.
Figure out what items we need for this too work and see what we can gather as a group. Hm.
I wonder how many carnations and such were used last year.
I donated several assembled carnations, 30 pink carnations, and 3k.

I have some pink carnation bouquets to donate. I'll try to gather up a few more before I send a trade though.
How about spare avatar items such as masks and whatnot to donate to people having trouble goldwise pulling together an avi outfit for the event?

I will accept anything, sell it in the market place or in the stores and add it to the event fund. These funds will be used for prizes, costuming, and other expenses.

I donated carnations and Ink I saved up. Once I'm done with my costume I'll be donating gold. Ah do we need anymore barrels?

Ahhh, yes. I forgot about the barrels...I'm sure he kept the ones from last year. And there is only to be a certain number of them anyways....

Unfortunately, I doubt I will be able to donate any gold this year, as I've not long spent over 20K in developing my Halloween outfit, and still have about 11K to go on it (unless my grim reaper makes his appearance sans trousers).
That said, If I've got any spare gold left after the costumes finished I'll send some this way, and I'm sure I have some spare Carnations in my inventory.
Also, as I mentioned before, I'm currently in the process of turning my house into an oriental restaurant, and i would be more then willing to let the guild use it as a second location for the pancake brunch (if indeed we are repeating it this year).

Just a couple questions:
How many flowers are we thinking are needed this year? How many did we use last year?
I admit my collecting has slowed down some since my last donation, a little over a thousand more flowers, but I'm guessing ink is needed more than the flowers? If so, I can change my sig to say so.

Seeing how we have a lot of members to start this year, we'll need many more than last year. If you've ever seen the movie payIt forward, you'll know what I mean.
If not, basically, we can now spread the word faster, gaining many more members than last year, and we need to get them outfits, and carnations!
We're in for a bigger event this year!

Currently I have 4818 flower, 902 bottles of ink and I have about 100 bouquets assembled. I have more ink and flowers than I have the gold to make bouquets. Last year about 1200 bouquets were handed out.

Well, I've sent my first trade of bouquets and carnations (all though it sounds like you have plenty of the actual carnations but I figured that it couldn't hurt).
I don't really have much gold to donate at the moment but I've been playing in the marketplace recently so hopefully I'll be able to contribute there sometime in the near future.
