Can more themes for runway be added into the rotation?

Maybe instead of having a week worth of rotating themes instead have rotating weekly themes. It would be nice to have some more variety.

Can the fee for the Gaia Cash Runway count towards the current tier and future tiers?

BTW, thank you for spicing up the gold runway by adding some new themes! It has been so much fun dressing up for them and seeing the ideas other people have come up with for the theme.

Just wanted to know if there's a possibility that the gaian community can take a weekly vote to choose the upcoming Runway Theme categories? I know daily would be kind of crazy, but possibly weekly just to gauge what people would enjoy?

Why did you choose to make the vote requirement to receive an item for the free runway need 1,700 votes or more to obtain there is no legit way it can be obtained especially with repeat themes driving off so many people? I’ve placed second in the free runway with less than 300 votes. This standard is high. Users are quiet happy to receive a lesser reward than the other tiers for a more reasonable, ie more obtainable number. Either lower the votes to something obtainable and change the prize to something of less value, or remove the prize altogether. If you don’t want anyone to receive an item reward in the free arena, then don’t even offer one up. Simple as that. It’s free, no cost to us, that’s incentive enough to participate.

Recently the gold runway has been updated with new themes (although the ice and winter themes overlap which is disappointing to say the least). Was this change originally meant for the Gaia Cash runway, and if not, when will we be seeing new themes (not holiday related) for the other two runways?

Why is it, when we sometimes hit the supposed votes needed to get a prize, we have to file a ticket to get it, instead of it granting automatically like it should and why we get no notification at all, i.e. no PM, no bubble popping up for it, etc. Especially if we enter more than on Runway Theme, we should be able to know which Theme we got the prize for.

I wasn't sure about this, anyway in the Runway can we enter in more than one contest like can I enter the contest that costs GC along with entering a new avi int he contest that costs gold or will it cancel out my previous submission?

More of a suggestion than a question, but to spice up the runway there could be achievements that grant titles like diva, runner-up, fashionista, starlet, model, designer, flair, etc. Of course the runway will still need regular tlc if you plan on it being a profitable long-term investment.

It's nice to see we're getting some newer themes for the gold and cash runways, but would it be possible to see some new themes for the free runway?

With the new Runway themes, it seems like the Animaniacs theme got pushed out. Any chance of a new animal/Paw-centric theme?

I've recently noticed that we're now receiving gold again for Runway entries we've already previously voted on. Is this a bug or was this intentionally done?

Ah, I see, that makes a lot of sense, thanks for answering!

Although, I do think a simple yes or no would have been sufficient and just add a question for frequency of use for those who answered yes, cause obviously some users who answered yes may still frequently make use of the runway, just not all the time. In fact, I know of some users who, upon hearing how short the other yes option was, intentionally answered with the simpler yes.

Which in turn may have made your results from the survey less than accurate. For accurate results, it is best to use simple language and simple options to avoid confusion.

Having two affirmative options can be confusing for some users who may interpret "all the time" differently. An alternative way of clarifying it while still retaining a second yes option to filter out uses who more frequently use it would be to specify the frequency of use such as, "Yes, I enter everyday" or "Yes, I participate every week" or even "Yes, I participate multiple times during the week"

Un. Well some of us who are still using it frequently aren't enjoying it as much anymore and are more using it as a means to call attention to other users who are using it to the issues we have with it in its current form. And even then, some of my fellow protesters are getting tired of protesting cause it just feels like we're not making a difference and the disappointment we see of constantly repeating themes is wearing our spirits down and we're all starting to think that Gaia will just outright remove the feature as it appears to be no intention of regularly maintaining it to make sure that it stays interesting :c

Runway: Any estimate f when the themes in the runway will be changed? Please it's getting rather stale and we've been with the same themes for two months,

When you roll out the re-write of the Runway are there any plans to have a museum of the winners like there is in the Avatar Arena. A couple of the users have very generously provided the links to the museums but it would be nice if there was something that was easily accessible from the Runway page instead.

Also, is there a time frame for when the changes will be implemented, people are getting really bored of the same themes and user participation and moral seems to be pretty low in the companion Runway forum.

Can you make rules against threads and guilds whose sole purpose is to get people to vote for them in the arenas and runway? Funneling people to your entries or bribing them to vote you up isn't really fair and it takes the fun away from the people who enter and try to win fairly.

Was the return to the old, tired themes intentional, an accident, mistake, or a glitch or something (like currently in the gold and free runways)?

Many runway users are concerned about issues of alleged cheating going on in this feature. As such, passions have gotten rather heated and it’s become a very touchy subject.

I was wondering if there could be a PSA made informing users about being mindful about making public accusations and what appropriate runway behavior should be. A sticky thread in the runway forum about how to report and respond to suspicious activity would be really appreciated, along with some rules clarifying runway participation. A reminder should also be included that name dropping alleged cheaters could be construed as harassment, which is just as much against the ToS as using mules and bots to exploit games and features for profit.

Really, just a sticky thread with rules and reminders of acceptable behavior with guidelines for reporting suspicious activity would be nice.

Since there is an issue of people either not following the themes or people wrongly accusing others of not following themes, is it possible to add a description bar to the Runway entry?

It doesn't have to equal the amount of characters as the Arena, just enough to put "Hel - Goddess of Death" or "My interpretation of lust using animals" or something along those lines that way people can know what the avi is about. That and it might help decrease the number of people either trolling or just misplacing their avis.

Features/Games? - Gaia Runway

While I am thoroughly enjoying the fact that I can vote 8 days in a row and earn 10 more ally potions, I think it's possibly a little broken. I've gotten three chirpette bundles in a row, which is nice, but I don't think that's how it's supposed to work... Thus, my question:

Considering the eighth day reward is labeled "Chance", shouldn't it be a random item instead of the same bundle every eight days?

On March 27, 2016 at 12:01 am PDT, Gaia increased the entry fee for the Free Runway theme, which was Chocolate Bunnies, to 199 GC. Sure the fee amount was listed as 0 Gold, but users were still to spend 199 GC if they didn’t already have the item that was required, which was the paw skin [Animal] Chocolate Bunny Fur. This item can only be purchased using Gaia Cash, it had not listings at that time on the MP, so users had no recourse but to either purchase, borrow, or abstain from participation in a theme that says free, but really, wasn’t.

There are no words harsh enough in ANY language to describe what you have just done. The poor choice in theme and require item has insulted runway participants. We are disappointed in you Gaia. Shamed of you Gaia. To think we gave you the benefit of the doubt Gaia. You spat in our face Gaia. You put shameful things into our face Gaia. It was nice when we were all worried that our paws would be left out, but you required an item which, purchased directly from the site itself and not from fellow Gaians, can only be bought with Gaia cash (which of itself must be purchased using real world currencies or earned through sponsors of which both means may and can be limited by where a users resides in the world further limiting their participation).

Easter was Sunday. This was a theme for Monday. Easter was over Monday. You could have picked any other theme, with any other required item. You could have called it Spring Cleaning and required an item from the Convert-O-Matic event. Some of the event items are still in GoFusion making them more readily available than a cash only item.

Furthermore, the item you pick made entry into the free theme cost nearly QUADRUPLE the entry fee of the GC theme, which has far better rewards with a chance of possibly reimbursing users for their purchase.

I and many others understand that the items that may be required for some of the themes may and will vary, but what we don't understand is the rationale behind this particular choice for that particular runway.

You fudged up. Pun intended. You either acted very foolishly or deceitfully with us by your choice of required item.

Now then, the question I have for you is, should we expect to see more of these poor item requirement choices in the future requiring items purchasable only with GC which not all users readily have access to (especially in the free theme) and do you intend to apologize at all for what you have done?
