Scarlet frowned a little, then shook her head again. She couldn't read braille either. The raven started eyeing a shiny object on a windowsill, clearly being very tempted to go steal it. She had no idea what the bird was thinking of and was too busy writing to pay much attention to him. I can't read braille. I haven't had time to learn. She held out the clipboard to Chester while her bird hopped off her shoulder and started going to get a closer look at the shiny thing that had caught his attention.

Scarlet tilted her head, almost like she was looked at Chester. That was a good idea, she thought. Knowing how to read braille would probably make things much easier in some ways.. She didn't know what he meant by his question though. She couldn't tell. Meanwhile, the raven had reached the windowsill that shiny object was on and could now see it was some kind of necklace. But, it was shiny and he was a raven, so he picked it up in his beak before flying back to Scarlet's shoulder. She turned her head like she would look towards the raven and asked him. What were you doing? To which he replied that he had found something shiny. She frowned, but didn't know what to do about that, because the raven was a wild creature even if he acted tame and was only helping her of his own free will. He would only obey her when he felt like it.

Of course, when Chester tried to take the necklace from the raven, he tried very hard to hold on to his new shiny toy, but in the end, the boy was able to get it. Meanwhile, Scarlet was a bit confused and worried. She wondered if her bird had stolen the necklace from someone, but she couldn't say that. She stiffened slightly when the boy placed the necklace around her neck before blushing at his words. After a minute, she slowly nodded. Seeing the backyard and then maybe getting something to eat would probably be good. This school seemed to be huge!! And they hadn't even gotten to classrooms yet, which made it a bit more intimidating.

Scarlet just ducked her head and followed Chester, still blushing furiously. Well done Ches, she's feeling very embarrassed now. And her raven also stayed with her, though he was now sulking because his prize had been taken away and was plotting to get it back. Ravens are very smart birds.

Kitiara sighed as she wondered around the school, feeling bored until she found the library. Her heels clicked against the floor as she took a deep breath in, she loved the smell of old books though not the dust. Her icy blue eyes shifted around the room with interest. She walked into the isles to look at the selection. She loved classics as well as newer stories, she could read the stories over and over without getting tired. Skimming the shelf she found a book of interest, plucking the black book from the shelf she smirked. Grimm's Fairytales, she owned it but had left it at home.

Kit walked over to the table and took a seat, opening the book to the first fairytale. Most girls liked the lovey-dovey romance tales, but Kit liked the Grimm's take. She brushed a strand of white hair from her face, today she had pulled her wavy hair back into a braid to keep it from her face. She had chosen to dress comfortably with a nice button up blue shirt over her black spaghetti strap shirt,a nice pair of dark blue slacks hung snug over her hips. As she read the pages her favorite pair of black heeled boots clicked against the floor. It was a habit she had, one of many she did when lost in thought. " Take that evil step sisters" She muttered with a smirk as she read the end of Cinderella.

Kit gathered a few books off the shelf and decided it would be a good start for her light reading. Balancing about fifteen books she walked up the the counter. " May I check these out Miss? " Kit asked the librarian, " Just arrived and want to do some light reading" The elderly woman arched a brow as she looked at the large stack of thick books. " Young lady, you call this light reading?" She asked. Kit giggled at her remark and shrugged. " I know, usually I can get forty and have them done in a week. Its a lazy day" Kit explained. The elderly woman chuckled and scanned the books to her account. Kit put them in her satchel and headed from the library to find a quiet spot to read.
