((I think six sounds like a good number. Plus a basement level. So seven total. And we've done two now, right?))

"Alright. Let's try this a little differently then. I'll go in alone first and take enough of the lights to give Shadowman something to work with. I'll try to leave enough for myself and Amp to see by though. Then I'll come back and send in Shadowman. I'll give you a couple of seconds and then Amp and I will come in after." Fort said.
Fort readied himself and then 'jumped.' He reappeared upside down against the ceiling in the room below where he had been just an instant before. He saw the men, five of them with guns and ammo in hand. And he saw several lights about the room. A few bare bulbs hanging from the ceiling and a couple of lamps with no shades. As gravity began to assert itself and pull him down Fort 'jumped' again. He appeared next to one of the lamps with a sword in hand and swung the blade through the light, shattering it. By this point the men had swung their guns around and fired a short burst at him just as he 'jumped' away again. Another light shattered. Another volley of rounds bit into the wall less than an instant after Fort vanished again. Another light down and another burst of lead shot at him. There was a single light left and Fort 'jumped' to a few feet to the side of it. He had to 'jump' almost instantly again, though, as the gunmen were starting to catch on to his trick. With the last jump he reappeared in the room above them, where Shadowman and Amp still were.
Fort landed on his feet next to where Shadowman had been before he left, and where he still was. Head suddenly pounding he caught himself with an arm on Shadowman's shoulder before he fell to his knees.
"Crap. That ended up having to go a lot faster than I would have liked. And I think we just lost the element of surprise. Sorry..." Fort said, his voice strained from the dull ache in his head as his headache started to fade a little. "They were all facing towards the last light when I left. I'll put you behind them. So you might be able to get in a good suckerpunch, and you should have plenty of dark to work with. See you in a few."
And then Fort 'sent' Shadowman into the room of armed and trigger happy gangsters.

Shadowman appeared behind the men I'm not sure I'm ever going to get used to that... They were nervous so he simply focused on creating a solid wall out of the darkness afforded to him. Making it hard as steel. After a moment it was finished and he smirked, "Boo..." The men let out a holler spinning to shoot in his direction. The bullets they sprayed richocheted off the wall and flying off in multiple directions. The goons let out curses as they were wounded by their own bullets and a couple dropped to the floor though they were still moving.

Then he moved around the wall, darkness already forming into a couple of hammers. The goon nearest him was on the ground, he'd dropped his gun and was reaching for his leg howling. Shadow silenced him with a solid boot to the face as he set to hitting the next one closest to him in the face with one of the hammers. A solid crack was audible and the man dropped like a bag of rocks as he moved between them. He stepped on another's gut, his screaming cut off for the moment as Shadow man spun and took the other two goons down with several swings. He stood there looking at the goons, the ones still conscious groaning. The light in the room diminishing the shadows that cloaked him, but they remained strong. He waited for the others to come down.
