Ryn positioned himself in a stance with the blade in front of him.
"Once I'm finished with you, I'll go after Nyx" he said, as he lunged forward, his blade already in position to slash downwards.

For a brief moment, a simple shining silver figure rushed through the doorway, immaterial in form so as to avoid any physical harm from impact, though the moment it cleared the entryway it solidified into Ilyia's more normal appearance, though her blade was already drawn and streaming a silver light behind its entirety. She looked immediately to Katsuto, then to Ryn. Her eyes narrowed in both mild defiance and hopeful resolution, but she struck out, the extended light of her weapon moving to intercept Ryn's coming strike.
"It doesn't have to be this way!" She cried out, "Can't you see this is all so very pointless?" She looked to Katsuto, "I can't honestly say you are looking so well, but evidently something worked out for the best, and you..." she looked to Ryn, "I don't even pretend to understand your hatred of this man, but nor do I doubt there is sound reason behind it, though can you so easily dismiss the worst that is happening here for the demise of a single adversary?"

The blade that Ryn wielded came down, hitting Ilyia's blade intensely. Suddenly.. everything that had been locked away within him, released, as a familiar staff appeared at his side..
"I will use Orochi, the Eight-Headed Serpent that Nyx used to control eons ago.. to destroy Katsuto." he said, as the staff erupted in a purple hue.
As the Dragon emerged from the staff, it erupted into a deafening roar over Rosencroix Kingdom.

Nyx turned to face the entrance of the room as Ilyia burst in. She frowned at the interruption for a moment before a grin of delight appeared on her face at the sound of the fearsome Orochi.
"Oh good....I was hoping for more bloodshed."
She smiled at the serpent, cooing at her beloved pet.
"Are you starving, Orochi? It's been so long since you tasted the souls of the innocent. I hope that those here will satisfy you..."

The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end at the sound of the roar. She was too afraid to turn around and look. The situation was looking bleak to say the least.
Shield shattered. Katsuto's bleeding. Giant, possibly gruesome thing behind me ready to eat anything that moves. Ryn's lost his mind. Nyx..is probably contemplating killing us all..yes..Worse. Day. Ever.
She shook her head and looked up at Katsu. "We need to get you out of here. We need Tuomas to look at your wound. You can't fight like this...you'll hurt yourself." She looked around desperately. "I think I might be able to cause a diversion. Can you use your magic to get out of here?" Her lips were by his ear and she was talking very low so the others wouldn't hear.

Glaring at Rosalie, his eyes narrowed at her.
"Lost my mind? No, just taking a power away from Nyx and using it for myself." he said, as the Dragon turned it's hateful gaze towards Nyx. Without warning, all eight heads released their elemental blasts simultaneously at the young girl.
"You have no idea what you're in the middle of, human. Nothing that your small brain can even comprehend.." he smiling as the blasts headed towards Nyx.

Orochi's attack simply wisped through Nyx as she stood still smiling at her pet.
"Poor Orochi... that bad Ryn has turned you away from me. I won't interfere for now. I'm just enjoying the show."
She walked slowly past the ongoing chaos and over to the empty throne to sit down.
"If no one else is going to use it, I may as well have a comfortable seat to watch from."
Leaning forward, the little girl leaned her head against a hand.

Rosalie clenched her jaw, her hands curling into small fists. She stood up, turning to see Ryn. Her eyes were sad and her voice shook a little when she spoke. "Ryn this is enough already. I know your hurting. Nothing can replace Ari. Not killing Katsuto. Not destroying this kingdom. Not even killing Nyx. In the end you'll only be left alone and when you finally meet Ari again, your hands will be stained with blood. Not only the blood of those who deserved it, but also the blood of people she cared about. Look at yourself. Is this what Ari fell in love with?
Your right to call me clueless. I am just a human. I have not lived as long as you and I have not experienced the world as you have. I know I don't have a right to talk about Ari's wants or dreams. I only knew her for a short time. But I know that she wouldn't want this. Anyone could tell you that. She loved you Ryn. Do you want taint that love by killing in her name?" Tears where pouring from her eyes, but she made no other sounds.
"I hated you for taking Katsuto from me. I blamed you for all this madness. You took my heart from me and now you wish to do it again." She looked back at Katsu and smiled at him then turned back to Ryn.
"But I was wrong to be angry at you. Blame and hate doesn't solve anything. It didn't heal my heart when Katsuto was taken. It only made things worse..
I don't have the power to stop you from hurting him, but I can't see him die again..I can't.. Ryn, please take my life in exchange for his. Please let him live. Call off your monster and leave everyone in peace."

Ilyia nodded thoughtfully at Rosalie's words, finally comprehending the depth of the situation at hand here, and while she kept her eyes firmly on Orochi and Nyx, her alert posture did not waver for a moment. Still she lowered her weapon slightly, taking what solace she could in the distance between herself and the prospective combatants.
"She's right. Vengeance in the end means nothing, surely you can understand this much. I for one am not about to be some puppet in Nyx's show, nor do I intend to see this land - however dark in origin - lost to her rule. Even if your revenge is so important, I question your priorities sir."
She looked to Rosalie, giving a grateful nod that in fact she had stood in Katsuto's defense, though Katsuto himself brought the Divine Creation a fair measure of worry for his state of conscience.
"Even in the darkness, there is hope if it does not align itself with malevolence. If Nyx will not intervene on a feud between ourselves, I doubt she will find reason to avoid doing so when it is herself that is the focus of such a feud..." She looked to the girl seated at the throne with a small smile, "am I right?"

Pointing his blade directly at Ilyia, he glared at the girl.
"Shut your mouth, you remind me of a Celestial who thought he knew everything!!" he yelled, as he pulled the massive blade back into his two katanas as he turned his gaze to Nyx, yet speaking to the others.
"I suggest you all just leave.. Even if I kill Nyx, I'll become the very essence of Darkness. It's the only real way to stop Nyx in her plans. Destroy her and become the Darkness, or let her win. I choose to kill that little b***h.."

Ilyia tilted her head, not entirely recognizing the comparison but she dismissed it all the same for the greater factors at hand. Cautiously, she stepped forward, almost putting herself the same distance as Ryn was to Nyx on her own, though significantly off to the side. She hardly knew what to think, nor did she honestly care to anymore.
"And there you see my point, then. We can settle this later if you so desire, but I have business of my own with Nyx. I am not your enemy, Ryn - please understand that."

Looking up at the large serpent, Katsuto inwardly cursed. His condition at the present would not allow even an attempt against the massive beast, much less against Ryn or Nyx. The gash on his side still flowed freely, and he could already feel his strength waning with the loss of blood. Grimacing, his eyes sought Rosalie. She did not need to be in such a situation. Her heart was pouring out as she pled with Ryn, yet he feared that it would all be in vain.
"Rosalie...he will not listen. He is too far gone. We must leave for the time being."

Rosalie paled at Katsuto's condition and quickly went to him. "Of course, Katsu.." She said soothingly, trying to hide her worry. It pained her to see him in such a state. She removed her jacket. "Your bleeding everywhere..we have to stop it.." She pressed the coat to his bleeding side, holding it there. "Lean on me, Katsu, I'll help you walk, okay?" She moved to his side, making sure to keep the coat in place. She ducked under his arm, letting it drape across her shoulders for support.

The little girl let out a soft giggle at Ryn's threat before standing up once again from the large throne.
"You think you can kill me, Ryn-kun?"
The thought alone made her small giggles become full laughter that echoed cacophonically off the stone walls and returned to chill the very souls of those present.
"You should listen to the girls, Ryn. They speak truthfully. Maybe you should just leave. You said it yourself, there is nothing left for you anymore."
She stepped forward, a small hand glowing with darkness.
"Or you could always come back to me. Who was it that took you in when your home was destroyed? Who was there for you the other time when everything had been taken from you? It was me. It was the Council. I can return your darkness to you. I'll make the pain go away, I promise."
She smiled, holding out her hand to Ryn.
