Does anyone else find it ironic that we have less free time in the summer? Or at least, less computer time. Hm...

Watch, edits, Revue, Geek Chic...

I thought about doing another scavenger word-hunt thing, but then I found out that our guild money is pretty not-plentiful.

And... I forgot thepress password. stare If one of you two could oh so mercifully spare me, this Imprefect One, I'd like to know it again, please. xp Thank you.

I'm keeping track this time, so I won't be forgetting again.

I'd find it ironic were I not used to it. Now I merely find it annoying.
If you need guild-money, I could donate some. But, the thing about the scavenger-hunt is that some people have an advantage because their browsers will show which words are linked (I think this is what you're talking about?) if you view source.
How do you manage to forget thepress password? Besides, didn't you PM it to us? Aren't all sent PMs saved in your sent folder? If you can't find it there, I can remind you.

It was more of a passing thought, but you do have a point. On all counts.

*sigh* Alas, I did try the sent box before I asked, but I couldn't find it there. I tried following my chain of thought to see if I could guess it again, but I stopped at the fourth try. Five tries seemed like a good point to start blocking my IP address. I'm pretty sure I combined your two names somehow... or did I? gonk

Yes, you did. I'll just send the password back to you; oughtn't post it here, this being public and all.
Edit: Sent. Oh, and you might want to save that. Just in case, y'know?

Ok, updates. I have a reviews and column written, I just need to edit them some more, then I can add them to the draft myself. Voting I will get to later tonight or tomorrow morning, but never fear, it will get done!

On another note, I may have found us another columnist. I have a friend who, while he doesn't use Gaia much (at all), is a hilarious written and is interested in joining our ranks, if only as an on and off participant and not a full staff member. I'll talk to him more about it, and direct him here, help him get a work sample together, etc, if no ones minds.

You know, I think I'm going to start putting my columnist job here on my resume as work experience.

I'm sick of this nobody even having me for a job interview s**t. TRAINED MONKIES COULD DO THESE ******** JOBS, THEY DON'T NEED ******** QUALIFICATIONS! Honestly, I've been filling out applications since March and have gotten jack s**t. I think I'm going to find which a*****e criminal stole my social security number and kick their a**.

Send me a pm if there's anything I should be doing, but aren't.

lol, I bet you actually could include this on a resume, as part of hobbies or something. Amature columnist for online fanzine, or something to that affect. I should do that...but it depends on what kind of job you're applying for, too.

Oh, I voted, btw.

Online fanzine? Is that what you'd call this? Hmm, she'd always thought of it more as a magazine, because that's how she was originally introduced to it as, or a writers' newsletter.

For whoever has the time and/or inclination to write up something for the Watch, might I suggest the WriMo?

This is Rushifa, I just added my stuff to the Draft. I wont have time to do anything for the Watch this time, sorry, I just have a huge essay due tomorrow which is not as done as it needs to be...

...anyway, responding to the above comment, I just call it a fanzine since it's not a professional publication. It's definately an online magazine of some sorts...

*sigh* I guess I'm not going to get anymore votes, am I?

I'll do it so: take away my original vote and go for either Vices or Words. A bit unfair, since I'm really choosing who wins. Should I still do 2nd Runner Up? May as well, if only to make up for the unfairness of it all.

Well then. I guess the winner is... is... hm. Okay. I've decided.

EDIT: First Runner up. Not second. Jeez. I'm getting annoyed at myself. Is anyone else annoyed at me? I wouldn't blame you. stare

EDIT2: Published here. I found lots of typos this time and went back and edited them. Tell me if you find more. It was pretty bad this go around.

Well, Columnist is now officially on my resume.

Also, if I write a column ever month for the next seven years, I will reach my 100th column.

The 'fabulous' I'll take as a compliment. As for the 'creatures' part, well, that can be a compliment to.

heart

Anyway, so I won't be here the end of June, because I'll be in Colorado and the only Internet I'll have will be borrowed from my Travel Agent Aunt, whom I don't want to offend or anything by sitting at the computer all vacation or whatever.

I'll try to prepare for my departure as best I can. So if someone would like to post the submissions thread using the mule, that'd be awesome. I'll find time to update the indexes.

Then I will somehow get a head start on choosing pieces to put into the draft.

Muchas gracias.
