Gannon… 
Gannon raised an eyebrow as he listened to Hikari and Miko's story from the other side of the room. He wasn't surprised that the first thing the Reyvateil asked about was Rhaplanca. Something had happened between those two and he wasn't sure what. But knowing who she was with, he doubted they'd come across anything that they couldn't handle. Even if he didn't like Ishira, he could at least respect his abilities.
The Teru dealt out the next hand to Ina and Mana, leaving himself out this time. "I'm done after this. The two of ya can keep goin' if ya want."

Mana nodded at Gannon. She didn't care if he ducked out of the game. After all, he wasn't the one she needed to get even with. "Just make sure to gimme some good cards then!" The half-Teru glanced over her shoulder, having noticed Gannon's glances over by her sister when she noticed that the Reyvateil had come out, then she realized just why he was ducking out of the game. She shrugged, feeling it best to not bring anything up at the moment nor call attention to Hikari as she was looking pretty skittish at the moment. "And hurry up! I can't wait'll I'm callin' in my winnings!"

Ina Ina knew the reason why the Teru was calling it quits and now it was just herself and other Teru. Ina got some mediocre cards and there was little to no way to make do of what she got. In her hand was a 6, 3, 9, King, and a 5. Looking at the cards closely, she decided to get rid of 3, 5, 6, and the 9. Her only two chance at winning was either getting another king or going for the highest card. Ina did thought of the possibility of getting three of a kind, but the odds of getting it was slim. "You may have won this round."

The half-Teru looked down at her cards. Hmm... not bad I guess. Potential maybe. Right off the start she had a pair of Queens. The rest was an Ace and two 3's. Two pair right away. Wonder if I should go for it or not. "Awwright who's takin over the dealing if this party pooper's callin it quits?"

Ina "I can if you want, that is if you trust me to deal the cards." Ina said with a chuckle at the end. When she was waiting for the Teru to respond she was thinking more about her past, despite the fact that the memory was barely in her mind. Flames were covering everywhere in an already lifeless town. A shadow was only seen before the end of it. A scared girl, the only girl was frighten by the shadow. Running was all she could do until that being caught up to her. Red hair, male, and the skin tone of a Teru was all she could see before she lost conscious....Ina was touching her eye as she remembered what she could about her past.

"Sure, I suppose," Mana said. "Then we can take turns off and on, k?" She settled back and stared at her cards some more. She glanced up and noticed the full-blooded Teru touching her eye. "Hey, don't tell me yer gettin' tired now too," she said almost with a pouty expression and a cold glare at the Teru who had ducked out of the game. "Not look what ya started, Gannon."

The Teru stood and stretched, leaving the half-breed and the one-eyed Teru to play. He had more important things to worry about. He made his way to where Hikari and the others were. "Mind if I join ya?"

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~
She wanted to know why her Song Magic had reacted and changed her appearance. But more than that, for some reason she desperately wanted to know who the lovely young woman in the picture was, and why one glance at the picture seemed to affect him so.
Maybe it was the fact that she possibly had started to view him as a friend and was concerned about his feelings. She didn't really know how to feel about him, though, because he had threatened her before... even if he believed it was for her own good.
Fact of the matter Hikari was just plain lost and confused. And Aaron's arrival didn't help much with her jumbled thoughts and feelings, it only sent her into a worse spiral of confusion.
It took her a few moments but she spoke, quietly in a whisper. "I've been meaning to ask some things..."My Song is a Shining Light

She noticed the Reyvateil's reaction but said nothing. She scooted over wordlessly to allow room for the full-blooded Teru to sit in between the both of them and patted the floor, motioning for him to sit there since she had provided the space.

Gannon sat down, but before he could say anything, Hikari surprised him by speaking first. "Ask me something? Sure. Ask away. But first..." He reached into his coat and pulled out the stuffed Pepen and handed it to the Reyvateil. "Luckly, it didn't get soaked out there in the rain."

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Her blue eyes widened as she reached out to accept the pepen. "Th-thank you..." Hikari held the stuffed animal tightly to her chest and nuzzled him. The distraction had taken her by surprise and when she recovered herself she found that she didn't know where to start. "I... um..."
A slight blush tinted her cheeks and she seemed to have lost any courage she had. Pretty soon her eyes had dropped their sights to the floor, as though she suddenly found it very interesting.My Song is a Shining Light

Ina Ina slid her hand from her eye and looked at her cards again to see if they were good or not. "Guess I must have forgotten their worth. Going to deal now." Ina discarded four of her cards and got four new ones. There was an ace, a queen, a five, and a king. She smirk a bit at the only card that mattered and waited for the Teru's turn. While waiting, Ina tweaked the weather a bit to make it rain slightly less.

The Teru sighed. It seemed as if Hikari had lost her nerve. It was up to him to carry on the conversation. He figured it was probably best to start on a high note. "They're okay. Rhaplanca and Ishira. They made it to the Inn and got their stuff out. Don't know where they went, but looks like they got out before the troops took over."

But other thoughts crossed her mind, like her doubts and hesitation, the picture and the dive earlier. "Thank you for going back for them." Hikari paused before standing, wondering how she was going to bring any of this up to Gannon. "Good night. Sorry to trouble you, Miko." She turned to the full-blooded Teru. "I'm sorry... If I could bother you to ask... I... I don't know how to say it, but, when you have time, if we could talk alone..." Red flooded her face. "U-um... nevermind..." My Song is a Shining Light

Gannon sighed. "Look, you want to ask something, so just ask. After all you've been through, I'd say you're entitled. What's on yer mind?" He leaned back against the wall, relaxing a bit after the action he'd seen that night.
