"No argument here." Will said. "I'm in. Who else is coming? An entire facility full of people with abilities, and this Ajax guy that can copy abilities." "Count me in." Said a gruff voice. Matt stepped forward. As usual he was in his gleaming red, white, and gold breastplate and cetsus. "There's no way I'm letting you guys go and have all the fun to yourselves. Besides, I can't forgive anyone that would harm our people." He slammed one fist into the opposite palm, sending sparks flying. "Let's go teach them who they're dealing with. And make them regret that they ever even thought of challenging us." "I'm in." Malkin said from within the folds of his concealing cloak. "Me too." Kait piped in. "And me." Said Isaac. "I don't really know what's going on. But if it's for one of our own, then I will fight with everything I have." Digo said. "Sounds like you've all got a death wish." Came a cold voice from down the end of the hallway. The gathered Hunters looked and saw Gene leaning against the wall there. "You don't think we should rescue one of our own, Gene?" Kait asked vehemently. "Someone who's fought and bled alongside us. I'll keep that in mind next time I'm the one guarding your back." "I never said I wouldn't be going with." Gene replied coolly. "But I do think that in this situation we'd best come up with some semblance of a plan before we rush in to our deaths. Perhaps Kiro and TJ here can wrack their brains and put together some intel for us before we head out." Gene turned and started walking away. "Perhaps while they get started the rest of us should get armed and ready for the trip."

"It doesn't matter who decides to come with, I'm going no matter what." Kiro said. He unstrapped himself from the medical table with his now free arm and stood up on his feet slowly. "It won't be a bunch of pushovers neither. There will be more of them than us, and they are all as strong as I am or stronger." Kiro warned.
Kiro then turned to TJ. "We're going to have a talk later." Kiro stated in a harsh voice.

"We can talk on the way. I'm coming too." TJ said. She raised her eyes and matched Kiro's stare determinedly. "Aren't you worried about getting captured yourself?" Will asked. "Yes. The thought of it terrifies me. But I can't bear the thought of sitting here waiting for all of you, not know when you'll come back, or even if you'll come back. Besides, my Alchemical Blood lets me heal people. That'll probably be pretty handy on this mission." "That does sound pretty damn useful, but how's it work?" Matt asked. "Actually... You'd have to drink a little of my blood..." TJ replied quietly. "Well, that sounds just a little bit nasty." Kait said with a grimace. "It wont be as bad as you'd think." Digo said. "At least her blood is red and human. You don't even want to know about some of the disgusting and colorful things I've had to lick up in order to make my ability work." "True enough." William said to Digo. "Anyways, we'd all best get armed and ready for this mission." Will waited while everybody else filed out of the room and headed to collect their gear. "Well," He said to Kiro. "What do you think? Of TJ coming along? And of our chances on this mission?"

Kiro stretched. He seemed very stiff and achy all over his body, but he was alive. Kiro turned to William after he heard his question, "I don't think you want my honest opinion." He started. "But I am getting a bit tired of hiding." Kiro replied with a smirk.

((Probably is just not used to us posting more than once a week. Good to have you back, btw. We should maybe give kurisutan and Raolain a chance to get in here. Also, Kiro should be ravenously hungry after that healing.))

Mathias entered Kiro's room followed by Drustwn. Mathias appeared to have washed and dressed, and was carrying his shield on one shoulder, his pack slung across the other and his sword strapped to his belt. Drustwn looked just as dirty and travel worn as before, but seemed to have recovered his hat and his own gear as well. Tossing his pack aside, Mathias reached to grip Kiro's shoulder,"I heard everything, Kiro. I'd have come inside sooner but it was a bit crowded, so I went to get ready. I bumped into this fellow on the way," Mathias hooked a thumb towards Drustwn, who nodded with a bored expression," He says he has nothing better to do and will come with us. You ought to know I'm in as well." he grinned. Drustwn rolled his eyes,"Yes yes. Everybody is friendly and touchy feely one big happy family. We're wasting time. Every second we delay means Enyo suffers longer."

"Drustwn's right. I'm gonna head back to my room and grab my gear. I'll stop at your room and grab you a change of clothes. You should probably hit the cafeteria and get yourself something extra-large that you can eat on the road. I'll meet you at the stables." Will said. Will then turned on a heel and walked out of the room. He ran to his room and retrieved his travel pack, double-checked that it was rationed for an extended trip, then broke into Kiro's room to snag him a set of clothes that weren't full of slash marks and covered in blood. William then headed down to the stables. When he arrived he saw that many other Hunters and Guardians had already gathered. Gene, Matt, Kait, Digo, TJ, Malkin, Isaac, Sven, Mathias, and Drustwn were all assembled. The stable hands were in a mad frenzy trying to ready all of the necessary horses. "Now we just need Kiro to get he-" Will was interrupted. "What the hell is going on here!?" A commanding voice called out. A commanding figure to match the tone stepped into the stable yard. He was wearing a neatly pressed military uniform with a saber at his hip and pins at his collar marking him as a Major. He had two guardsmen flanking him as he stepped into the yard. They each held their spears in a tight grip. "Who's that?" Digo whispered to Matt. "Major Arcos. Also known as Major pain in the a**." Matt whispered back. "I'm still waiting for an answer." Arcos said. "I'm fairly sure that there are no mission either assigned or accepted currently. So why do I find three full teams of fiend slayers hitching up their horses as though they're going out for a ride in the countryside?" "Because that's exactly what we're-" Matt started, but was also interrupted. "Cut the bullshit, Blaezing." Arcos snapped. "What's really going on here?" Will stepped forward, placing himself between Arcos and the other Hunters and Guardians. "We're going after Enyo. When she and Kiro went out a few days ago they got into a fight with a couple of people from an organization called Axis. Kiro managed to escape, but they captured Enyo. We're gonna go and get her back." Will said. "I've never heard of any group called Axis." Arcos said with a sneer. "It's probably above your pay grade." Gene said. "What was that! You..." Arcos took a second to compose himself. "Regardless, this mission is not sanctioned. And if this group even exists there's no way we'd need to divert this many of our forces to dealing with them." "Actually, we could probably sue more." TJ said. "In that case we can't afford to risk this many of our forces." "We're wasting time." Gene pointed out. "Alright, lookie here, Arcos." Matt said. "You and your friends are gonna get the hell out of our way. One of ours needs us, and we're gonna go to her one way or the other. And you really don't want it to be "the other."" "Are you threatening me!?" Arcos demanded, his face turning red. "No, we're not." Will quickly interjected. "But we are leaving, and you know full well that you can't stop us. What you can do is move aside, or even go and take this to the execs if you think you need to." Arcos seemed to consider this for a moment. "Very well, I will allow you to pass. But there will be repercussions for this." Arcos and his men stepped aside to let the collected Hunters and Guardians to pass by. Will swept up onto his horse and began to trot out towards the gates. "Will!" Arcos called. Will turned to regard the Major. "You better bring all of our people back. All, of them." "Understood, Major." Will replied.

Mathias trotted his horse up next to William's and breathed out a sigh of relief,"Wow...that was really tense for a moment. I'm glad we didn't have to do anything too drastic, but I'm afraid we might be in a bit of trouble when we get back..." he looked behind him to see Major Arcos staring after them, his mouth set in a firm line of disapproval. Mathias swallowed and thought about what his father might say when he made it back. The thoughts were not pleasant.
Drustwn brushed past Arcos as he led his horse away a bit before mounting and setting her to an easy trot. Arcos always had been a stickler for protocol and all that nonsense. It was easy to see the stick was still planted quite firmly up his military a**. Drustwn hung back near the rear of the group as the procession began. He harrumphed to himself as he looked over all the Hunters going along. Quite the motley bunch. He hoped they'd be enough to get Enyo back from these Axis people. He'd heard whispers here and there in the dark alleys about people disappearing and being horribly mutilated...if they were ever seen again for that matter. It might be interesting to see what they were up against...

Kiro had took this time to change and to eat at least three average hunter's worth of food before heading out to the stables. He still felt aches and pains all over and was surprised he was able to go back into the fray after those injuries. Kiro was also surprised that all of these guardians and hunters, young and old, would aid him in this situation.
"You are all fools to come with me, but I thank you." Kiro announced as he reached the stables.

((Ninja is right. Sorry for the long absence. Wasn't expecting this many posts so soon. I'll post now.))
Hiro was shoved back as the crowd dispersed and began discussing their plans. They were all so willing to go out of their way for one. This person must be a rather important person to have so many willing to walk toward danger wo willingly. He wondered a bit if he should sit this one out since he didn't even know anyone or if the entire thing was even sanctioned. A second later he smacked himself in the head for even hesitating. This was a chance to go into battle and gain experience and it was so soon. He could learn much from just tagging along. He may be new, but he wasn't going to let an opportunity like this slip through his fingers.
Hiro made sure to listen carefully of what the others were planning and acted accordingly. He found a spare horse that was not taken and mounted it following the others situating himself near the back, but not last. He let a small grin escape his lips as he looked forward. This would be the first test.

The group rode on throughout the day in relative silence. Some smalltalk popped up here and there as they traveled, Mostly between Matt, Kait, and Digo. Most of the others were pretty grim and determined, or just weren't very talkative to begin with. They even managed to eat a meal of travel rations while on horseback as they rode on. As the day began to fade into late evening the sun sank low over the horizon. Will had spoken with Kiro and TJ a bit throughout the day and they had narrowed down where they thought the Axis base was located based on terrain, local villages, the standard operations of Axis, and TJ even actually knew of this particular base. In speaking with some of the others Will had come to a conflicting decision to attack that very night. He would have liked to let everyone rest, but he knew several of the others would not be willing to wait, least of all Kiro. Finally Gene had helped him decide to swing the whole group around to the west and then come at the base from there. With the sun setting behind them. This would make it easier for them to spot their enemies, and those same foes would be blinded from the sun shining in their eyes. Will finally held up a hand signalling a halt. After a moment everyone did so and turned their attention to him. "Alright, guys, we're pretty close to their base now. We should go the rest of the way on foot." Will said. "I'll go over the plan one last time. There will be three groups. The Advance Group, The Support Group, and the Rear Guards. Advance Group will be Kiro, Drustwn, Matt, and myself. It'll be our job to cut through the enemies in front of us and break a trail through the facility while we look for Enyo. "Support group is Gene, TJ, Isaac, Sven, and Hiro. You guys are our ranged fighters, so you get to pick your shots and cover us as you feel you can. Sven and Hiro, it's your job to protect those three if anything breaks through the Advance Group, or to move in to assist the Advance Group or Rear Guards if you think they need it or if you think you can do it without exposing our archers. "Rear Guards is Kait, Malkin, Digo, and Mathias. You guys are there make sure the enemy doesn't come at us from behind and catch us in a pincer attack, or pick off our Support group. "Everybody got it?"

((I actually want a confirmation that everybody is ready. I don't want to move on without making sure that everybody has had a chance to add anything.))
"Yeah, let's do this." Matt said as he slipped on his gauntlets and locked the knuckle blades into place. Gene, TJ, Isaac, and Sven all simply nodded their agreement. Malkin didn't say anything. He had become increasingly quiet the longer Will had known him. Which was understandable. Will also knew that the mysterious and stoic Hunter would be content in his role. "Man, Rear Guard. I'm gonna miss all the fun." Kait complained halfheartedly. "We're an important part of the strategy." Digo said to Kait. "We're the ones that will ensure that our enemies blades do not end up lodged in our allies backs." "Yeah, yeah." Kait replied. "I just know that we're going to get the least of the action."

((I never really decided on official dimensions for the region, so I get time/distance mixed up sometimes here. I was basing this off of when Kiro and Enyo originally left. It seemed like it only took them a single day by horse to travel all the way there. But then again, that was to the town, the Complex could still be further, they obviously wouldn't build it close enough that anybody could stumble on to it. We'll go ahead and say that this is the second night. That makes more sense with all the planning that they had to do anyways.))

Hiro followed the group trying to pick up more of the situation and trying to assess more of what was going on. However more of it was banter, talk and how things were going to pick up. Finally they slowed down were divided into groups. He as assigned to be support for the archers. Not the most exciting job, but an important one none the less since the archers were going to thin the enemies out before they closed in too much. He had to make sure nothing happened to them.
"Right," he said confirming he understood the plan. He gripped his reigns tightly and lightly touched the staff held in a light loop close to the horse's saddle. Then as everyone began to dismount, he lightly hopped onto the ground. taking the staff he held it to his side and gripped the strong wood. Muttering a silent prayer he prepared himself for what was to come.
