Somewhere between THREE TO FIVE DAYS!
Why was he fired?
See, he worked at a Golden Corral. HE ATE THEIR FOOD DURING HIS WORK HOURS.
His excuse?
"Oh, I work at the restaurant, and everyone else is doing it!"

rofl Luckily, that's not happening. Mr. Boyfriend's mom isn't going to let him move back in if he does return to New Jersey. (She basically celebrated having a low grocery bill recently.)

Sissy Blade rofl Luckily, that's not happening. Mr. Boyfriend's mom isn't going to let him move back in if he does return to New Jersey. (She basically celebrated having a low grocery bill recently.) Less money on food means more money for fancy bath times for mommy. xp

I am in total shock after what I witnessed this morning. Was running an errand and picked up some lunch about to go out of what I thought was going to be a safe intersection behind someone. I don't know what possessed me to not simply follow the person in front of me out into the intersection but I am VERY (underline that a million times) lucky I did not. The person hesitated in the intersection on the green arrow because someone was pulling out of the business across the road and out of nowhere a very large Ryder truck came barreling through the intersection going at least fifty miles and hour thinking he could beat the light and hit the car in front of me so hard it spun around ninety degrees and hit another car. Thank god the guys doing landscaping for the community where I think the victim lives jumped on the phone immediately.
People PLEASE no matter where you live DO NOT try and beat the traffic light the moment it starts to turn from yellow to red. And if you have the green left turn arrow PLEASE hesitate for a moment before you head out into ANY intersection. Let people honk at you because you will come out of it in one piece. I DO NOT want to hear of any one of you being on the receiving end of a very nasty accident like that. If that person was not in front of me, if I had followed them into the intersection, that would have been me. I am very lucky.

Wow Chibi that's pretty lucky, I'm glad your okay. After what I witnessed today all I have to say is talk to the people you know with a driver's license and tell them it's not worth it to rush through a light and to be extra careful when pulling out into an intersection. You can't always assume people are going to follow the rules of the road and come to a complete stop when a light starts going from yellow to red and you can't always assume the intersection will be clear of traffic. Major intersections always require extra caution.

Some people should just not be allowed to drive! surprised Where I am right now it's seen as no huge deal by the locals to go five to ten miles over the limit and try to beat the light. I think a lot of people who witnessed that will never do that again. It's just not worth the risk to try and shave two or three minutes off your arrival time.
