The man pressed a button on a handheld radio. "We have an intruder on the second floor. Teru, and he seems to specialize in ice-elemental magic. Engaging him in combat. Requesting backup." He shook his head and shrugged. "What can I say? I got kids. Sorry, pal." He lifted the gun again to shoot the Teru before him.

Gannon… 
"Fine... If that's how ya want it..." The Teru created a small blade out of ice and stepped out from around the corner long enough to toss the weapon at the guard before ducking back to safety. He knew his aim was good and was rewarded with a dull "Thunk" as the blade embedded itself in the wood door frame next to the guard's face.
"Now, ya wanna put that gun down, or should I aim just a little bit further over?" He knew he was wasting time, but he figured he could spare a few more seconds.

The guard frowned and silently lowered his weapon momentarily, appearing as if he was considering the Teru's offer. Then he quickly grabbed something on his belt and tossed it down the hallway and it bounced off the wall beside Gannon and activated. A scant second later it revealed what it was. A stun grenade. He bolted to the end of the hallway where the Teru was, unloading his rounds of bullets into the cloud of dust and ash where the Teru had been standing.

Gannon…
"What the...?" Oh s**t! The Teru had very little time to act. He turned his head and shut his eyes as he spotted the grenade, doing his best to cover his ears to block out the deafening sound he knew was coming. When the stun grenade went off, the Teru's world exploded in pain and confusion. The effect was swift and, if it had hit him full force, it would have crippled him. As it was, the room was spinning, and he couldn't tell up from down. It was more luck than anything that he stumbled away from where he'd been standing. With a crash, the Teru fell backward out the window, landing hard on the ground. All he could do is lay there as the world continued to spin.

Aaron looked over the side of the roof, checking the area. Not noticing any guards or obstacles, he grabbed the supplies and crawled down the side, dropping the rest of the way to the ground. Once he was far enough away from the inn, he hid in a small alleyway behind another building and dropped the supplies on the ground. He peered around the side of the building, looking for any change at the inn.
It was at that moment that Gannon burst through the window. Aaron rushed out on the scene, quickly surveying the situation. Gannon was incapacitated momentarily and Aaron could tell that he'd been hit by something that caused a paralyzing effect. Something that can be fixed, he thought. But first, he had to get the Teru to safety. He wasted no time in pulling Gannon to his feet. He slung the limp Teru over his shoulder and took off for his hiding spot. When he set Gannon down, he pulled out a little item pouch and searched through it. He found a Giga Milk and gave it to the Teru. "That should do it," he murmured. "What the hell happened in there?"

 A burst of static came from the com system as someone from the Inn radioed in. "We have an intruder on the second floor. Teru, and he seems to specialize in ice-elemental magic. Engaging him in combat. Requesting backup." She looked across the desk at Zek and smiled. "Speak of the devil." She reached over and hit a button on the computer. "All available units, One of the targets has been spotted at the Inn. Proceed with caution. Target is extremely dangerous. Remember, we need him alive if we're going to find the others." With the same smile on her face, she spoke to Zek. "So, are we ready to go?"

Gannon…
"b*****d...Stun Grenade...Kick his...a**..." The Teru's mind was quickly clearing thanks to the Giga Milk. "Wait... How'd I get outside?" Gannon sat up, feeling a sharp pain in his shoulder. "Bloody hell... What happened?" Musta fallen out the window. Lucky... The Teru made it to his feet. "Alright. No more mister nice guy..." A black dome formed over the Teru, obscuring him from sight. Electricity crackled along the dome as the Teru's body transformed into a more draconic being. When the dome vanished, very different person stood in front of Aaron.
Without wasting time with words, the Teru turned back toward the Inn and took to the air. A few seconds later, he was through the window he had fallen from. "Alright... Your turn."

"What... what the hell?" Aaron sputtered upon seeing Gannon's new form. He didn't get a chance to process the information, however, because as soon as he transformed, Gannon was gone. "Hey, get back here!" He shouted after the Teru. "Don't mention it. Glad to be of help," he muttered with a shake of his head. He followed the Teru on foot back to the Inn. "I hope you know what you're doing..."

"W-wait, Tessy, that's him, ya know? Gannon. Shouldn't we go see him? Ya don't want him to get hurt do ya?" Zek asked, worry evident in his tone. He wondered why Tessia hadn't pushed to meet the Teru. She had to know that it was Gannon. The only Teru Zek knew with such strong Ice-elemental magic was his friend, after all. And Zek knew for sure that he had more Teru Tribe friends than Tessia did...

"What... what are you? A monster?" The guard asked in terrified disbelief. He noticed that the clothes were the same as the intruder wore. "You transformed! You are some kind of monster then!" He raised his weapon and began firing desperately, falling back. "No, stay back, beast!" He would have turned tail and run if not for the thought of his children and wife who depended on him back at home. If anything happens to me, they will be lost and defenseless, he thought to himself. I must stop him at any cost! He shouted as he shot the rounds of bullets at the 'monster'.

Gannon…
The Teru hissed as the guard began shooting again, though it was little more than an annoyance, now. He used his boosted agility to dodge the gunshots, quickly closing the distance between them. As soon as he was within range, the Teru lashed out with his tail, knocking the firearm from the human's grasp. "Monster, eh?" The Teru's voice came out as a growl. "Sure, why not." He reached out and took hold of the guard by the collar of his shirt. "Now, get out of my way..." With that, he threw the guard out the window. The rain would have softened the ground up enough to where he wouldn't be killed. "Now that that's taken care of..." The Teru picked up the bags that had been left there and headed down the hall to where the guards had been. He kicked the door open And glanced around. "Hey, Nereus, get yer a** up. We gotta go!"

Nereus With all that was happening outside the room, Nereus wasn't aware of for he was in a heavy sleep. Once he heard the door being burst open by some monster, he woke up with a loud yawn, "Where are we going?" He tried to open his eyes and get up at the same time. Nereus then look around the room to check if all his stuff was there and realize that he was still in Behdla. "Before we go, I have to get some stuff that I was working on." He said facing the big hole in the room.

"We don't have time for this!" The Teru growled. "Everything that was in the rooms are packed up and waiting outside. Now, Move!" The Teru turned and left the room, heading for the window.

Nereus Nereus gave a small sigh before following Gannon. "I could not find the other two, the ones that Hikari was so concern about. I did met a red head Reyvateil, who was trying to make me talk in where you guys where headed. I didn't say a thing though."

"Don't worry 'bout it. Their stuff was already taken from their room. Looks like they got outta here before the troops got here. Now hurry yer a** up! Bad enough I already came back fer ya." The Teru jumped from the window and glided down to the ground. He could hear shouts coming from the inn. We gotta hurry or they're gonna catch up.. Gannon returned to his normal form, waiting impatiently for the human to catch up.
