Voyager was glad to see that Charybdis appeared to be much more confident in this situation. He wasn't sure if she had trained at all since they had met, but perhaps she had. Though training would be forever. Unless one was able to retire from Knighthood or Senshi-hood, then one would always have to carve out some time for practice or training.
Since he wasn't too helpful in this situation and only just managed to dodge whatever was used to attack, he threw yet another rock at the skeleton, hoping that it at least caused a dent or chipped it or did something that would actually make it hurt! Though it appeared that it was starting to lose anyway as it tumbled, but it still had enough energy to attack!

Eternal Larissa HP: ??/100 ((backfill)) Damage: 9
Whether anyone had gotten close enough to be healed wasn't too important at the moment. As much as she would have liked to draw attention to it and see if it really did anything, she herself was distracted once again as they had to fight with more creatures. There were too many people for her to feel confident to use any other magic, so using object she found on the ground would have to be her go-to for this fight! She once again threw the rock at the skeleton and could have sworn that she saw a dent. Maybe. The lighting wasn't that great here.

Super Sailor Cybele HP: 59/75 DMG: 9+4(Anser!)= 13
Geese?
Cybele could not say that it had been what she'd been expecting, exactly, but it did not feel strange to see them. When she heard their calls and felt herself grow a bit lighter, a bit faster, it felt natural.
She'd been here before. Her body remembered, even if the rest of her did not.
The mist was still there. Cybele still could not breathe, not without the stench of death filling her lungs and choking her, but that was not about to stop her now that she could start to see the effect that their attacks were having on the monster. She dashed forwards to punch at the monster, her fist having a satisfying impact on its crumbling legs.
Between coughs, she called to the other senshi, "We should talk once this thing is put to rest."

Grabbing at a talisman, Charybdis wailed out an attack again. "Shiny Pup!"
Her eyes were tightly shut, still, but it was a given that her shrieking, squealing, squalling Shiny Pup would find its way to the skeleton... right? Hadn't it last time? "Ara? Voyager? Are you both still doing okay? There's a lot of scary noises!"

Gripping a magical talisman, Imbrium once again summoned her shield. "Okay," she told those around her, "Don't laugh at me, but I heard there's a magic spell that will deal bonus damage to the enemy if you yell it. That's what the kids these days say, anyways."
Lifting her shield in two hands, she threw it at the skeleton, yelling loudly and proudly, "YA YEET!"

Clutching the second and last talisman that she had been given by Aokigahara, Scylla summoned her power again. Maybe she shouldn't have started off by using her Eternal power- even her magic was starting to be a little less.... Hungry. Still, the magic rose to her summons, taking an irritated whack at their bony enemy. The wisp danced after the tentacles, as if it was cheering them on or something. Or just... being a wisp...
They were so close... just a little more, she could feel that.
Lifting her arm, Ida called out her attack again and the bow appeared between her hands, her last talisman clenched in her fist. For the last time, the glowing arrow slammed into the monster with a burst of energy, and in its wake, a wave of exhaustion that dragged Ida's shoulders down.
She struggled to her feet to watch the others making their attacks, breathing deeply to push off the heaviness.
Direct Magic Damage Attack, using last talisman: 20 total damage
Phaethon's arm was starting to get tired. He'd never been much of a baseball player, and trying to find ever heavier rocks to throw didn't seem to be working out well in his favour. At the same time, he didn't like the look of that black mist, but it had thinned to an unpleasant breeze by the time it got to him.
Good, because he wasn't sure he'd do any damage at all if he got further away--
He could use a hand, honestly, even with the amount of them and even with the fact that it looked like they were doing real actual meaningful damage at least collectively.
He didn't suppose Nembus could just... show up.
That would probably also be bad--
Ah, he should probably stop being distracted, otherwise he wouldn't live to the next time he and Nembus met up--
Tikal found that her ability to b***h and complain about what was happening was restored as the mist surrounded her and her complaints eked out past the choking fog. It filled her lungs and made her feel like she was inhaling sludge, leading to a hacking cough. She'd still had a rock in her hand, and Tikal did her best to aim it past whatever it was doing to wrack her body with pain and lung spasms.
She would have celebrated the way it ricocheted with a satisfying velocity, but she was too busy consciously aware of her breathing.
Viatrix scratched at the skeleton once more, noticing that its legs seemed to be taking the most damage. Perhaps if they could stop it from moving entirely, then--
The smoke was thick. She coughed unpleasantly, curling back into herself and quickly retreating back toward Anser and Cybele. Anser, who seemed to know Cybele. Cybele, who seemed to know Anser? She loved more allies!
Either way, she needed to get out of the range of this nasty smoke, and skipped back toward Encke and Basiluzzo who were standing much less in range. She'd trust Anser could handle herself, especially if she had an ally.
The rocks seemed to be helping! At least, it looked like they were! Basiluzzo was admiring their collective handiwork, letting the feeling of confidence and steadiness wash over him. It made it into his grin, and he wound up to throw another rock.
It wasn't exactly his best work, but it was better than missing!
Quote:
BASILUZZO: A strange stillness settles over you. It does not feel threatening, and in fact makes you feel a bit stronger. Heal 5 HP.
HP: 75 Physical Damage: 1d10 (+1, article of strength) Magical Damage: * * Mother Goose: 1d4 boost to others (+1, article of strength) (2/2) * * Mothers Geese: 2d4 boost to others (+1, article of strength) (1/2) Talismen Remaining: 1
HP: 39/75 DMG: 9 + 4 (her own buff from last round) + 1 (Article of Strength) = 14
The smoke was nearly overwhelming, and she wheezed for a moment when it continued to fill her lungs. The power that her ability gave her, though, allowed her to stand strong despite and charge the skeleton for her own satisfying punch no matter what smoke she found herself having to fight through.
She heard the way Cybele's fist cracked too and couldn't help a wide grin.
Just like the old days.
"Yeah!" Anser agreed, enthusiastically, bouncing back and forth before falling to a fit of coughs again. She found herself backing up a bit and bending down in an attempt to clear her lungs, but shouted once more to Cybele after, "It's been a while!"
Being so close to the gigantic skeleton seemed to be causing most people problems, and Hydor let out a cough of dismay when he felt some of the smoke begin to leak through his barrier. He let out a noise of frustration before shouting out a "Whirling Protection!" in an attempt to recoup the protection around himself.
He heard Aokigahara say something about how there were only two more lanterns left over the din. Good. He was just about ready to be done with these spirits.
Maybe that one who had been wailing at him could actually get to rest, soon.
... He didn't know why that concerned him at all. The ******** did he care for?
He swung his body around and landed a kick into the skeleton's leg, hoping to help disintegrate them.
Encke saw the way the smoke gathered around the skeleton ahead and found himself wincing in sympathy. Was his sister alright? Perhaps he needed to drag her out of there--
Distracting him from that was the barreling approach of his cat, and he accepted the fact that she bounced up onto his shoulder and decided to settle there instead of being anywhere near the smoke. He reached up to scratch behind her ears for a moment, and she rewarded him with a purr and a small headbutt that was completely unnecessary to the side of his head.
Strange, Basiluzzo didn't even enthusiastically greet Viatrix nor did he seem to be moving around very much. Calm. Very calm for him. "You good, Basi!" Was he getting into the battle zone?
-- Anyway. They should probably speed the battle zone along. Encke wanted to get back to what they were supposed to be doing that night.
For good measure, Encke pointed to the skeleton again, letting out another, "Full Ionization!"
