Yazira tensed for a moment, instinct bringing up her blades. But then she relaxed and let out a long exhalation. "I yield." She said. She stumbled forward a step and turned around to face Drustwn. She slid her scimitars back into their sheathes and stood as straight as her bruised ribs would allow her before holding out a hand to the older Hunter. "Good match." She said.
"Well, I guess that's all over. A pretty good practice session I think, though." William said from where he sat with Mathias and TJ. "Looks like Yazira might be joining me in heading over to see Kimiko..."

Drustwn relaxed as well and stepped back to give Yazira more room. He turned the blades backwards in his hands before bowing to her, then he reached to accept her proferred hand and clasped wrists with her,"Indeed. I look forward to another, or perhaps even a joint mission." He nodded to her once more before striding over to William and offering him his blade back,"Much obliged, young hunter," he said with a nod.

Yazira shook and then began heading back over towards the elevator. Will rose to his feet, keeping one hand on his bruised ribs, and accepted his sword back. "Not a problem. And good job out there, you compensated for the increased blade length like it was nothing." He said. "Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm gonna go get these things fixed." He said, indicating his ribs. "Yazira, care to join me?" "I'm way ahead of you, William." Yazira said back from where she stood over by the elevator entrance. "Literally."

It was about two full days, including the night before and Kiro could now be seen in the distance of the Corps. His legs dragged heavily across the ground as he trod along slowly. He clutched at his side, which was halfway exposed, and showed ripped bandages wrapped around him. There were smudges of blood and dirt on his face and the entire left leg was drenched in blood from his wound on his side. When he reached the gate, he was wheezing and coughing until he finally collapsed unconscious.
(( Anyone else can take over from there. I'd suggest you look back to page 5. ))

Guardsman Sorenson sat idly, not paying a particular amount of attention to the goings-on about him. He was currently on guard duty. And guard duty was mindlessly boring. This was the Calivert Hunter Guardian Corps. In his opinion there was really no need to guard it. The fortress housed many of the finest warriors in the nation, many of them with abilities that surpassed those of normal human beings. They could handle themselves. Thus Guardsman Sorenson sat in his chair, which was leaned back against a merlon, staring up at the sky. Watching the clouds float lazily by. "Sorenson!" A harsh voice called out. Sorenson sprang to his feet, knocking over his chair and barely catching his spear as he bumped that where it rested against the merlon as well. "Yes, Sir!" Sorenson answered. A heavily built man in Corps. armor and wearing a thick mustache walked up to him with a stern expression on his face. Captain Ames. "Sorenson, aren't you supposed to watching fro incoming hostiles? Are you expecting them to drop out the sky?!" Ames demanded in a loud, commanding, voice. "Yes, Sir! I mean no, Sir! I mean - " Sorrenson stumbled and was interupted as Ames grabbed him by the back of the head. "That way, son." Aes said and pointed Sorenson towards the horizon. "You never know when... What the heck is that?" Both soldiers looked over the edge of the wall and saw a body lying near the base of the gate. "Is that?" "That's Hunter Kiro, Sir." Sorenson proclaimed. "William Daarkwulf's partner?" "Yes, Sir." "Well, don't just stand there, boy. Run and get a medical team, the man looks injured. And send a runner for Hunter William also."

Men, women, and staff of the Crops stormed out from hiding and swarmed to the wounded hunter. Soldiers and medical team a like all helped carefully pick Kiro up and rush him off to the medical ward. The word about the fallen hunter spread like wildfire across the establishment.
Kiro was strapped to a medical table and doctors began to operate immediately. Time would only show if he would make it.

William had heard the news and sprinted off towards the medical building. He had just gotten out of the shower and had only taken enough time to throw on his pants before he took off. He carried his shirt and sword in one hand, and his boots in the other. When he had not seen his friend for several days he became worried that Kiro may have gone off on a personal mission, and from what Will knew of Kiro's personal history it was bound to be dangerous. But he had never imagined that Kiro might actually come back seriously injured. William slammed his way through the doors of the Surgical Wing and came to a point where several guards were posted outside the doors to one of the rooms. A few Hunters and Guardians had already gathered. Will came to a stop right in front of the guards, who crossed their spears before him, barring his passage. "Is this Kiro's room!? Is he here!? Let me in!" Will yelled. A strong hand fell on William's shoulder and gently pulled him back. "Sorry, Will." Tyrone said. "They're not letting any of us in to see him." Will looked around. He saw that Matt and Digo were present. As were Isaac, Malkin, and Kait. "There's nothin' we can do but wait right now." Matt said. "So how about you put your clothes on." Will decided to listen to a certain amount of reason and took the time to put on his shirt and boots. He simply clutched his sword in one hand wishing that he could draw it and cut away the feeling of fear that was within him. After a moment the door to the room opened, the guards stepping aside to make room. A man in blood-spattered white surgeons clothing stepped out. He pulled down and his mask and turned to address the gathered Hunters. "We've done all we can. We managed to repair much of the damage, but he's lost a lot of blood, and there may be infection setting in. It all comes down to how much strength he's got left in him." The surgeon said. "We'll just see about that." A female voice called out with a note of challenge. Will and the others turned to see TJ leading Kimiko down the hall. The two approached the door to the room and the Hunters parted to allow them room to pass. "Let me in." Kimiko demanded. "I need to see to him right now." "Now look here." The surgeon said sounding offended. "We've already done everything for him that can be done. Now he needs rest." Suddenly the sounds of drawing steel rang out out in the hallway. The surgeon looked to see that several of the Hunters had drawn their weapons. "Let her through." Will said in a low voice. "Now." The surgeon paled visibly and then stepped aside. "Let her through." He said to the guards. Kimiko walked into the room. Will and the others remained outside.

Kiro's mind was racing. His life was completely replaying in his mind, going over all of the past events and experiences. Kiro's thoughts lingered on the origins of his birth mixed with the recent events of his defeat.
Everything went dark.
Suddenly there was a huge burst of encompassing light as he awoke shouting the name of his female companion, "Enyo!!" He sprang up to see Kimiko, WIlliam, and all of the other hunters and guardians around him. No Enyo.
Kiro then remembered... Enyo... I left her...
An extreme look of sadness fell over Kiro's face. He looked down at his body, bruised and bloodied, though intact. "I have to go back." Kiro asserted out loud.

William and the others had entered the room shortly after Kimiko, they stayed at the edge of the room, not wanting to distract her from her healing. TJ was now supporting Kimiko, who looked slightly fatigued from the extensive and rapid healing she had just administered. "Kiro." Will said. "What happened? Where did you go, who did this to you, and where is Enyo?"

Kiro fell silent for a minute before gathering enough courage to speak again. "I went to an Axis headquarters in Danaliag. Enyo caught my leaving and insisted on accompanying me..." Kiro trailed off.
"I planned on taking down their experiment lab there where they commence fiend enhancement and fiend control experiments." Kiro explained. But the information I asked for was intercepted and then we were tracked down." He paused.
"Like usual, members of Axis travel and attack in pairs... I fought a series of my standing, but in addition to that there was her partner who was one of the Perfect Series..." Kiro said as he began to explain his defeat. "This guy was not just perfect in his Series though... He was a monster. I had to use everything I had and more just to defend myself. I only lasted about a minute before he got me. I had to leave Enyo behind just in order to survive..." Kiro stated very regretfully.

"A zero designation!? What was his ability?" Will asked. Before Kiro could answer another voice spoke up. "Wait, Will? How do you know about all of this?" TJ asked. "Me? I'm Kiro's partner I've helped him fight off a handful of Axis assassins already. After the first one that came specifically after him I made him tell me everything. Why, what do you know about this?" Will asked suspiciously. TJ stepped back, looking uncomfortable, maybe even a little scared. "I didn't want to say anything, at least... not right away. I was afraid of how you might react." She said, looking directly at Kiro. "We all know who you are. The one that got away. I thought... Maybe I can get away too. So I escaped, and followed you here. I'm Axis too."

Hiro had been walking the halls when the entire building seemed to come alive as a large group pressed through the halls rather quickly. He was rudely moved aside as if they could not wait to even say for him to make way. "Hmph, guess someone hit the jackpot or something." he mumbled as he made his way forward. As he passed the hallway in which the group had turned, a bit of curiosity came over him. With a shrug, he decided to follow them.
As he neared the infirmary, he found a larger group already gathered near the doorway. Once there, he could not see what was going on as there were so many bodies blocking the doorway.
"What's going on?" he asked one of the individuals near the back. "Kiro is back, but he's severely wounded. He was pushed back as the others moved to allow a female to move into the room. He only heard the name Enyo shouted by the patient named Kiro.
"Must be a popular guy for such a large entourage." Hiro thought. He listened as best he could to the conversation spoken as key words perked his interest. Zero designation? Axis? What did these mean? He remained silent hoping to learn more as the story unfolded.

"There was a lightning girl named Liora who I met before, and a guy I never even heard of until now. His name was Ajax, he said something about being the Porifera Receptor Series. I believe its the ability to steal special abilities by consuming their blood. I met the fourth generation of that Series before, but this guys was impossible to keep up with." Kiro explain to William, who he felt was the only one who would understand what he was saying.
The moment he heard TJ admit to being an Axis assassin, Kiro went wide eyed and went for one of his swords in attempt to draw it. The straps on the table holding his arms down broke as he drew it. "Are you here to finish the job? Observe me?!" Kiro questioned angrily. He was obviously an emotional and physical wreck, but still fighting.

Will, who still held his sword by the sheath in his left hand spread his stance slightly, making sure he had time to draw his blade if he needed. "TJ?" He asked. "No!" She exclaimed. "I just wanted to get away, like you did. And I thought that if this was where you chose to go after escaping then there must be a reason. I wanted to find out, so I came here too. I just want to use these powers that they gave me to do some good." Will seemed to ease back a bit. Though he still made sure that he had room to maneuver and to draw his sword. "TJ. If I remember the system right... That makes you TAX0. You're the perfected version of the T series?" Will asked, eyes slightly widened. "Yes. T series is Alchemical Blood." She said, her eyes cast down. "Kiro, what do you think?" Will asked.

Kiro was conflicted, he wasn't sure what to make of TJ. "I'm not sure, I have never met anyone from that Series. Besides, I'm incomplete in my own Series so I wouldn't have been qualified to work with a Perfect Series. I have no experience with them until Ajax. He announced himself to be AAX10, that must be the modern term for Perfect Series. Unless they plan on going higher than that..." Kiro stammered on. He seemed to still be trying to figure everything out himself too, so he was not certain of everything that was being said.
"All I know is, if we leave Enyo with Axis, she will be experimented on, her ability transformed into a Series, and then she will be terminated..." Kiro spoke worriedly. "It was my fault she got involved in this, so I will be going after her."
