::Nearby a huge lake - spanning as far as the eye can see in almost every direction - there is a large stretch of rocky cliffs and small mountain formations. A steady wind blows by, sweeping the landscape and keeping a constant flow of dust clouds rolling along the ground. This is a relatively large area of uninhabited land, a large city visible far off on the East horizon. Airships and other airborne vehicles can be seen flying overhead a few miles all around the thriving metropolis. It's rather cold around this area, but with no snow to speak off. The west and north violet skies are virtually swallowed by massive walls of rock, piercing through the clouds and acting like a barrier to keep intruders out.

Atop one of the lower cliffs at the edge of a large mesa, a tall boy is standing straight, his arms folding over his chest as he looks up at the mountains, slowly gazing around. He's looking for something but, aside from the occasional dragon or flock of birds, nothing is in sight. What could he be looking for?

His hair is dark brown and long, spiking up and to his right. His eyes are blue in color, his right more pale than his left. Aside from these features, and his slightly darker skin, he looks similar to the one most refer to as 'Deity'. His attire is strictly tough leather, mostly centered around straps and belts holding his long black tunic in place. Held up with a strap around his back and shoulders are two silver and black guns, under his arms. His right arm is entirely made of metal, shining only slightly the the dull light of the planets star. Only a few rays are able to penetrate the thick blue clouds overhead.

It is then that a series of beeps emit from the boy's head, and he blinks in surprise, closing his left eye. His vision now gives the area around him a dark blue tint, and the contrast of the the surrounding environment a much more intense and magnified appearance. He speaks softly to himself, turning his head to his left.::

Hmm...that's a strange reading. It's being suppressed. Let's see...a few thousand miles Southwest.

::A few more quick beeps pop from the boy's head, almost resembling morse code, as some of the tones are drawn out longer than others.::

Power - fifteen thousand...female, Saiya-jin. There's another reading nearby, but it's too faint.

::Figuring he should check this anomaly out, the demon slayer unfolds his arms and undoes one of the buckles of his tunic flap, reaching in with one hand and shuffling around for a few seconds. He soon takes out a case, about the size of a can of cigars. He opens it with the press of a button, and the semi-transparent lid vanishes to reveal ten small narrow cylinders, each a different color. He takes a black one out, just smaller than a cigarette lighter, and pushes one end with his thumb.

It seems to break off, but is pulled back via some sort of spring mechanism. The red light at the end flashes, and the slayer waits a moment before tossing it into the air. A flash of light, like a camera snapshot, apepars, and in its place is a strange vehicle, no bigger than the boy himself. It has a circular bottom, front, and back, shaped like a crescent moon, and colored a magnificently reflective metallic black. On the sides of the bottom, there are two pedal-like fixtures, and at the front is a screen and two handlebars, that curve down. There is a seat, as well. It looks like a wheelless motorcyle, floating a few feet away from the cliffside.

Without another thought, the Orinian jumps from the rock and lands on his cycle, touching a small blue circle at the upper right of his screen. It lights up with a still-black background, covered with complex green and blue text within narrow window borders, for navigation of the driver's options. He lifts his right hand and swiftly types in a series of commands. Ignoring the saftey harness and pedal straps, the demon slayer revs the engine up, which sounds more like a soft buzzing than an actual engine.

Firmly planting his feet on the pedals and lowering his head down just above the handlebars, the boy gets another lock on the Saiya-jin girl again before tilting his toes down and grasping the sterring handles tightly with his fingers. He's gone in just a second, as the strange vehicle blasts off and down to the deserted valley floor, hovering only a few feet above it and rocketing across the landscape at a phenominal velocity. He weaves in and out of the path of large boulders and other obstructions, seeing a small backwater town up ahead. He'll have to go around it, but he should still reach the girl in a few minutes.::

*merena sighed as she laid down on one of the couches. She felt a bit tired, but that was becasue her days had been stressful as of late. Remembering that she had to talk to setsuna, a brooch of a crescent moon appeared in her hands. Opening it up, there were buttons inside and a holographic screen popped up in the empty part of the crescent. This was her own personalized communicator. In a few moment a pretty woman with Long Green hair and a kind face showed up on her holograph. "Hello Setsuna!". "hello Princess Merena, how may I help you?". She then told the protector of time about borrowing soem of the books locked in time, and why she wanted them. Agreeing with her, Setsuna promised to have them sent to Merena's quarters as the palace as soon as she retrieved them from the gates of time. Glad to have that settled, she relaxed on the couch*

Caine looked at Raziel as he poured himself another shot, asking with the bottle if the angel wanted more.

"I don't really know...I enjoy the burn, and it just mellows me out..."
