Mana~
The half-Teru was caught off-guard when someone grabbed her hand. "Wha-?" She whipped her head around, alarmed at who grasped her hand. She looked down to see the slender fingers of the Reyvateil's entwined with her own. Mana looked up at Hikari in confusion but saw the gentle smile on her face. She's trying to calm me down, Mana realized, and squeezed her hand back, finding a slight smirk come to her own expression as well. "Thanks, Hikari. I'm okay, honest."

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~
When Mana thanked her, the Reyvateil's smile grew a little despite things. Yes, her friend was missing and she was worried sick for her, the friends with her now didn't seem to care, and someone else special to her had finally returned to her life but questions of why he had left her tormented her to no end. She had many things to be upset over, but the knowledge that she was able to somewhat bring out the Mana that she knew once again was a slight comfort, and Hikari has grateful for that small thing at least.My Song is a Shining Light

Aaron was quiet for a few moments, mulling things over in his mind. "I owe you my gratitude, then," he bowed his head slightly to the Teru in respect. "I do have to admit, when I first saw you I thought you were hurting her, so I mistook you for someone else." He cast a glance back at the Reyvateil, gaze softening a bit when he noticed the smile on her face, but turned away and his expression hardened once again. "She is a troublesome girl, I know, and I can only imagine what you've had to endure while protecting her." He hesitated, then continued, figuring it was safe to speak a little more. "Problem is, as long as you're around her, that's how it's gonna be. She will always attract danger. She will never be able to live a peaceful life. Can you handle that?" He fell silent for a minute, studying Gannon closely, then added, "What reason could a Teru have to help a Third-Gen out anyway?" The last question he asked more out of curiousity than anything but wasn't expecting an answer.

The young Reyvateil kept pace with the others silently when she noticed the peculiar animal bouncing along with the one-eyed Teru. It piqued her interest and she moved closer and closer until she was walking side-by-side with the Teru. She watched the animal with childlike fascination and finally got up the courage to talk to the Teru. "He's so cute! Is he your pet?"

Ina She look at the other Reyvateil that was getting close enough that she was walking side by side with her. Ina looked at her when she ask her the question. "Not my pet, but my familiar." Blitz turned her face toward the girl and giggled as her breast was showing. Blitz then circled around the girl, smelling what was left of the aroma of bread. "She seem to like you." Ina said as she was walking a bit farther.

Nel giggled when she noticed the familiar inspecting her. "Well, little one, I do have something for you, I think." The Reyvateil furrowed her brow in concentration. "Hmm... where is it?" Nel dug in her pockets and then exclaimed, "Aha! There it is!" She took out a tiny cinnamon-smelling cracker and handed it to the little familiar. "Here you go! It's a baked cracker-cake from our shop. I had one saved as a snack."

Gannon…
The Teru was quiet for a few moments as they walked. It wasn't that he was ignoring the Human. He just didn't know how to respond. "Do I need a reason?" Gannon fell silent again. The truth of the matter was that he had asked himself the same question many times since meeting the Reyvateil and there wasn't really an answer. Not one he'd care to admit, anyways. "Up ahead, there's a hideout I used a few years back. Lived there for a while, actually. We'll be able to camp there for the night. Then tomorrow, we'll be able to hit Seraca."

Now that Mana seemed to have calmed down somewhat, Miko allowed some other thoughts to take over. She stared at the newcomer vanguard for awhile in curiousity, idly wondering what he was doing out there and wondering what Gannon had thought of it. Suddenly, brief images flashed before her eyes, of two young children playing, a happy family with a mother and father, and a loving feeling overcame her. As soon as it appeared, it was replaced by horrible feelings and other images, gruesome images showing the family being split apart, the parents dying. The pain was so overwhelming Miko had to look away from Aaron. Her eyes fell on the Reyvateil beside her, but the images didn't vanish like they should have. She blinked in confusion and glanced back and forth between the blonde Reyvateil and the vanguard up front with Gannon. A connection? She bit her lip. Finally unable to take the terrible feelings and images anymore, she stopped, covering her face with her hands and closing her eyes. When she opened them once again, the visions were gone thankfully. She gazed over at the other Reyvateil newcomer to the party and realized that she recognized her. "Wait a minute... Nel!" Miko jogged a bit to catch up to the minty-haired Reyvateil. "Nel, from Seraca, right? Remember my sister and I? What happened to you? Weren't you with your mother?"

Ina Ina glance at her familiar for a bit and the roll her eyes as she up further. She looked at the corner of her eye to see the teru that she attempted to kill. She quickly change her focus on the road. Blitz tilted her head out of curiosity, and looked at the cinnamon-smelling cracker. She quickly snatch it from the Reyvateil and began to sniff it for a bit. The familiar then sneeze for whiffing a lot of the cinnamon. Blitz quickly shook it's head and ate the cracker. It went back to the Reyvateil and put her hand out wanting more.

Nel turned at the sound of Miko's call to her. "Oh! Wow it is you guys!" She glanced around. "But... aren't you missing a few?" She frowned. "Where's the nice Reyvateil that was with you guys? Rhaplanca was her name right?" She hung her head when her mother was mentioned. "Well, it's a long story, you see. Some scary men came to try to take me away, but Mr. Cecil up there saved me and brought me here. He's trying to get me home. Maybe I'll be reunited with Mommy really soon again!" She smiled hopefully.
When the familiar took her cracker she chuckled. "I don't have anymore on me, sorry. But when we get home soon I'll have a lot more goodies for you, it's a promise!" She glanced around her. "If we ever stop to make camp, I'll be able to cook up something yummy too," she offered, reaching out to pat the familiar on the head.

"Well, something happened and they couldn't come with us," Miko explained quietly, out of Hikari's earshot. "We hope to reunite with them again soon, though." She watched Ina's familiar's antics and allowed herself a smile as well despite things.

The young man didn't pry for answers. He felt that more observation of the Teru and his true intentions would reveal themselves, whatever they were. When Gannon mentioned the place where they could camp out, Aaron nodded. "All right." It sounded good to him. Aaron wasn't much with words, anyway. Now that he'd spoken what he had intended, there wasn't much left to say.

Ina Blitz frown a bit as she heard that there was no crackers left, but once she heard the words goodies, and promise; the familiar let out a happy yelp. Blitz then went around the nice Reyvateil a couple of time before her eye caught Miko. Truth be told, Blitz was a bit shaken for what happen earlier. She tried her best to not show that fear she had inside her. Ina slightly turn, when she heard Blitz yelp. " Simple minded." She said with a bit of a chuckle. Ina wondered where they were headed after a bit of time has past. She never been to these parts before and if she did, then she couldn't remember.

...Tessia... "Is that so?" It was obvious that she wasn't buying into his story. "And you're sure that you were not with the group who were fighting? The same group who left with the Reyvateil?" Tessia was growing impatient. She doubted she'd get much information from this man as it was. Maybe being locked up for a while would change his attitude. "Well, if you weren't with them, what about the group who fled the dive shop before it collapsed? They're in custody, awaiting questioning." ((Sorry it's been so long! I didn't have my computer!))

Nereus "Is that so, well I do not know who they are, so you could question them as much as you want." Nereus then put his back against the chair, wondering if Hikari, Mana, and Miko were doing alright. He did not knew the others so much, but if they were her friends then he will do his best to save them as well. "Is there anything else that you want me to answer?" He ask because he wanted to buy them as much time as possible, sure there was a chance that the soldiers in which they capture him was searching for them.
