"It looks like I don't have much other choice, do I?" Aaron sighed. "Well, Hikari, lead the way." He was not liking this new development. More people just complicated things. He honestly just wanted to take Hikari and disappear right then and there, but he knew that he couldn't do that. He'd promised to protect Nel, and then Hikari herself was now tangled in with these people. Though, Nel should be safe once we get into the Church of the Goddess. Maybe by then I can convince her to come back with me, I hope... But then again, after what I did to her, I guess it's asking for a lot, isn't it?

"My game?" Aaron met his glare, then gave a slight smirk when he felt the electricity coming from Gannon. If the Teru had to resort to using his magic on him in order to threaten, Aaron figured he must have felt quite threatened himself. However, the electric jolt meant obviously to momentarily paralyze Aaron felt nothing more than a tiny static shock, like one someone would get from rubbing against a carpet. As a former vanguard for the C.P.G. Aaron had no choice but to wear elemental resistant armor at all times, or he would have been next to useless as a vanguard fighting against berserk Reyvateils. However, upon leaving, he did some modifications on his armor to make it stronger, mainly to protect him against fire and electric elements, since those were the most damaging and what seemed to be the most frequently used by Reyvateils. This made him pretty tolerant of all elements sans non-elemental magic, especially the magic coming directly from the Ar tonelico tower or Fau Pira. Though the only Reyvateils that could use those types of spells were either very strong Reyvateils with divers that were able to reach the innermost depths of the Cosmosphere (which was nearly unheard of), or the Reyvateil Origin, the Goddess herself, Nelia, who was rumored to have been able to use that power. In the years Aaron had worked at C.P.G. he had never seen such a magic used, nor had anyone else whom he worked with.

Sure the armor helped, however, even a human clad in this armor would easily fall to a Reyvateil attack without the proper precautions and backup. Which was one of the reasons, he figured, that those in the C.P.G. feared and despised Reyvateils so much, treating them like dirt on many occasions. Aaron could not share those same feelings, his own mother having been a Reyvateil and his younger sister sharing that very same trait. My little sister... He closed his eyes, attempting to remain calm. He decided that he would reach his goal better if he was a bit more cooperative with the Teru, even if he despised his guts. However only a bit, and he would be sure to let Gannon know that he disapproved of quite a few things...

"My game is that I know and care about Hikari. I have no interest in you what-so-ever, other than the fact that when I first came across you guys, I saw you with your hands all over her, dragging her somewhere she obviously didn't want to go. I simply want to make sure that she's well looked-after, which, judging from her appearance," his eyes narrowed at Gannon, "she isn't."

"You don't know a damned thing about me so just shut the hell up. And just try it." He reached back for his blade. "This armor is only useful when I need to take a hit for a Reyvateil. Otherwise, I don't need it." He smiled darkly. "At least it evens the odds a little bit. What? Too afraid to fight me like a real man? Have to resort to cheap magic tricks to win your little fights? All you Teru are the same. Spineless, pompous little cowards."

The young girl gasped at the scene and covered her mouth in worry and fear. Luckily, the other Reyvateil stepped in before anything could happen. Nel watched wide-eyed and fearful as both of the men stood sizing each other up. And when the Teru made a comment about Aaron running around with her, she immediately felt bad and tried to speak up for him. "U-um... It was my fault. He was in town while I was being attacked by these meanie soldiers, so he helped. If anyone caused the trouble it was me, so please don't fight anymore! Shouldn't we all be friends?" She cocked her head to the side innocently looking in between both Gannon and Aaron for some kind of positive response.

The young man nodded in agreement with Gannon. "I'm sorry, Hikari. The last thing I'd wanna do is upset you." His arms dropped to his sides. "There, nothing will happen, I promise." He held his tongue as he watched the Teru put his arm around her. I won't say anything. I've already upset her enough. So, this time at least I'll let it go.

Ina was wondering among the outskirts of Behdla, not noticing on what was going on there. She came across a tree, and decide to rest there for a bit. She took her two blades off and rest them on either side of her as she rest her back against the tree. She face Blitz who have done the same and rest her head on Ina's shoulder. She said in a low tone as she did not wanted to wake up her familiar.
"It have been has been four years now, and I still can't remember who have done this to me." She let go of the hilt and place her hand on her eye that was missing. "I may not know who have done it, but I swear on all that he has done to me, that I will murder him." After saying that in a louder tone she raise her fist toward the moon.
Blitz open her eyes and look at Kamin stroking her hair a bit before wailing at her.
She lower her hand and said to Blitz. "Okay blitz, I will lower my tone. . .Better yet, I too will fall asleep as I have not slept since this time a. . ." Ina yawns and soon enough she fell asleep. Soon after the familiar did the same.
After some time of sleeping, Ina heard some commotion. She decide to check it since there was nothing else to do around this parts. She took her two blades and let Blitz sleep. After following the sound, Ina could see a small fire. She hid behind the tree to spy on the two figures.

"Someone has to stay and guard camp." Mana answered smoothly. "It's not you, you're too busy with that girl in your care." She shrugged. "Besides, if you haven't noticed, Gannon's kinda taken over for now in the Vanguard department..." The half-Teru chuckled a bit. "He's overdoing it though." Suddenly, movement in the corner of her eye caught Mana's attention and she was quickly on her feet, gunblades drawn and pointed at the figure coming toward them. Gannon? No, it's not. She was pretty sure it wasn't him. After all, Gannon had left in the opposite direction. "All right, you have 3 seconds to tell me who you are before I shoot."
