 I am the Light of this World
The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~
 The young girl nodded at Nereus. "I know that you seem familiar to me... I'm sorry. If I knew you before... I can't remember. I can't even remember my family." Just the suggestion of more lost precious memories pained Hikari, but she didn't have too long to dwell on it. She ran alongside Nereus to where Gannon had pinned the berserk Reyvateil to the ground. "Please, don't hurt her! I met her before. She said she was feeling really sick, and..." Hikari paled when a feeling of Deja Vu overcame her and she trailed off. Feeling sick? She's an FPD, like me... right? When I was little and I felt ill, I don't remember anything but... those soldiers. Did this same thing happen to me? She shivered uncontrollably at the memories. And if that's the case, if I feel sick again will I do these same things? I'm scared...The girl coughed and gasped for air. "P-please... it hurts!" Having had the wind knocked out of her, it startled her out of her trance. She squirmed a little in Gannon's grasp but gave up. "I still feel so crummy... I thought that the doctor was going to help..." She slumped against the Teru, the fever sapping her strength. "It's over already?" Hikari breathed a sigh of relief. At least she seemed to be acting somewhat normally again. But that relief soon turned to horror when she noticed the dive shop. "Rhaplanca... Rhaplanca was still in there!" She cried, racing over to the ruins of the dive shop. "Rhaplanca! Rhaplanca! Ishira! Please, tell me, can you hear me!? Please, answer!" Frantically, she started trying to move debris aside and hopefully unearth her friends.My Song is a Shining Light

Nereus  Nereus saw her expression of pain. He did not say another thing. He then follow right behind Hikari and saw the FPD in the grasp of Gannon. "Can you loosen you grip just by a little bit.." He said after hearing the girl's comment about the doctor not being able to heal her. Nereus almost cover his ear as Hikari yell the name of somebody. ' Who is this person that she is talking about?' He then saw her ran off to the dive shop. ' Maybe she was the one who was in the dive machine. . .hope that person is ok.' He look at Gannon and said to him. "If you want to. You can go after her, and I will hold on to the FPD while I tell Mana about where the two of you left."

Gannon…
"Yeah, it's over. Don't feel bad, kid. Ya gave a hell of a fight." The Teru spoke to the Reyvateil as he gently picked her up off the ground. Her limp body felt feverish, but at least she seemed in control of herself again. "Mana!" Gannon called to the half-Teru, completely ignoring the human, first when "Come take her for a sec." He called on his ice magic, allowing a layer of frost to spread over the young girl's skin in an attempt to lower the girl's temperature.

Miko~
A Song? I hear a Song. Those were Miko's first thoughts as she slowly came to. Opening her eyes, and sitting up, she reached up and gingerly touched the back of her head where she had hit, but surprisingly, she didn't feel any pain. Mana was kneeling beside her with an expression of relief on her face. Miko realized when she sat watching Hikari use her Song to heal both Nereus and Gannon that her Song Magic was the reason for that. She slowly tried to stand."Fight? I don't understand." The girl looked genuinely confused, but sighed, feeling comforted by the welcome frost magic that the Teru put out. "I was just going to the doctor. Did he bring me out here?"

Mana~
Mana had been beside Miko, knowing that Gannon and Nereus had been protecting the Reyvateil. When Hikari cast her Reviving Song Magic, she smiled gratefully at the Reyvateil. "Thanks." As soon as Miko's eyes opened, she helped her into a sitting position, and then braced her as she tried to stand. "Easy there, Sis." She encouraged her. "Good to have you back." When Gannon called her, she checked Miko over one more time before she was satisfied and certain that her younger twin would be all right on her own. "Yeah, yeah, I'm comin'." She saw the mess that was once the dive shop and grimaced, especially when she noticed how Hikari was frantically digging through there. Poor kid... Mana then trotted over to where Gannon was with the FPD and gently took the sick child off Gannon's hands, allowing the young Reyvateil to rest her cheek against her shoulder, holding her up in a bridal-style carry. "Hey, there, it's okay. Just rest. We'll get ya home." She glanced around at a couple of the townspeople who had returned to the scene warily. She'd seen civilians completely turn on berserk FPD's before, and so she would have been lying if she'd said those spectators didn't make her even a little nervous.

Gannon…
As soon as Mana took the girl from his arms, Gannon rushed to Hikari's side. They didn't have much time. Between the approaching troops and the town's people, things were about to take a turn for the worst. A glance over at the twins told him that they felt the same. He chose not to mention anything to Hikari just yet. She had enough to worry about.
The Teru reached down and began moving away chunks of the broken Dive Shop, seaching for the three who were still trapped inside. "..et...ta...re!"Gannon stopped moving. He could have swarn he heard something. "Hikari, wait. Listen." After a few seconds, he thought he must have been mistaken, but there it was again."...lp me!"There was no mistaking it. It was the Dive Shop's owner and opperator. Figures he'd survive... Roaches usually did.
After a little more digging, The Dive Shop owner was uncovered, though more brused and bloody than usual. "About damn time ya dug me out! What the hell took ya so long!?"

Nereus Nereus left the two girls and went the opposite direction where Gannon and Hikari was digging up. He turn back and saw the whole mess. ' So this is what a FPD can do. I wonder what would of happen if they did not show up' He ponder this as he still view at the destruction. He took swung his sword in which it still had the electric element. He thought about his next upgrade.

"Mr. Zek! You're all right." Hikari stopped and glanced around the area frantically. "Where is everyone else? Did you see them? Are they all right?" The Reyvateil fell silent, feeling a slight tremor beneath her feet. "Wait a minute. Why is the ground trembling?" She asked Gannon shakily.My Song is a Shining Light

Gannon… "I... Don't know. I shut down the dive when the shop got hit. Thought they left out the back." The Dive shop owner seemed to drift off for a moment before speaking again. "Huh... Musta hit my head harder than I thought..."
Gannon tuned out the other Teru when Hikari brought up the tremor. He'd experienced that before. They were out of time. "s**t... The troops are here..." He glanced over at the twins before turning back to Hikari. "We gotta get outta here."

Mana frowned, her grip on the FPD tightening. It looked like they'd gained another Reyvateil to protect. "...Hikari. I know that we don't know if Rhaplanca or Ishira are both okay, but... we need to go. If Zek's said he thought they got out, we should just hope for the best and clear out ourselves. I mean, what if they're waiting for us or something?"

The Reyvateil shook her head. "They aren't here yet. So there's still time. We have to find Rhaplanca!" She cried and redoubled her efforts in moving the debris aside. They just had to find Rhaplanca. Hikari needed to know that her first and only Reyvateil friend was safe. After all, in this entire world, she knew that no one understood her like Rhaplanca did. She couldn't bear the thought of losing anyone else...My Song is a Shining Light

Gannon…
We don't have time for this... "Look, if the army finds us here, we're dead and you're going back with them. None of us are going to be able to handle that many so soon after the last time. Once we're safe, I can come back during the night. Okay? But we gotta get outa here!" The Teru wrapped an arm around the Reyvateil's midsection and lifted her off the ground. "C'mon, let's go!" Gannon called back to the twins as he left the wreckage of the Dive Shop behind. "Hey! What about me!? Ya leavin' me here to clean up this all by myself!?"
Gannon ignored Zek, knowing that he'd be fine on his own. Sure, he'd just had a building fall on him, but it was nothing compared to some of the messes that the two of them had gotten into in the past.

After shifting the girl around so she was carrying her piggyback, Mana started off, stopping and yelling to Miko. "Come on, let's go!" And continued as quickly as she could from the scene. "Don't worry," she said to the girl. "You're safe with us, okay? So just stay by us and you'll be fine . By the way, what's your name? Mine's Mana.""Mia..." The little girl answered hesitantly. "We're leaving? But... but what about my mother?" The half-Teru paused, considering telling her the truth or not. Then she finally decided to go with it. "Mia, that town is not a safe place to be right now. Let's wait a little while and then have you go back. Those soldiers that we're running from are coming for you. Because you showed signs of being FPD positive.""I don't remember doing anything bad. The FPD I remember destroyed my school. I didn't destroy anything! Look!" She fell silent when she gazed over at some ruins of a house. "...That was... me?" "Yeah. Actually, you sent me flying through that one," Mana chuckled lightly, but noticed that the girl whimpered at that so she stopped. "It's okay, it's not your fault. Let's get you outta here." She noticed Nereus, and called over to him. "Army's comin'! Are ya with us or solo?"

Miko~
"..." Miko was torn. She didn't want to leave, but stay and help. However, that fight had taken its toll on her and she knew it. She would have been lucky to heal herself, then she knew she'd need a rest. Her head hurt from where she'd struck it. Hikari's Song Magic had helped but it would take a little while before she was fully recovered. She clenched her fists and fought back tears. I failed. The army was also coming, so she figured that they would be able to help more with the injured than she would. I'll get a little rest. Just a little, then I'm coming back to help! She limped after her sister, hoping that she would be able to keep up.

 When Gannon had first picked her up, Hikari had been too stunned to move. But then realization of the situation set in and she panicked, frightened for Rhaplanca. "Stop! Wait! Gannon, please! You all can go but leave me! I need to look for Rhaplanca! What if she's hurt and in a few hours will be too late for her!? If they take me away that's okay! As long as she's safe!" She cried, struggling to get out of his grasp. "She has something important that she needs to do, so I have to make sure she's all right!" She pushed against him in an attempt to break his grip. His grip was really tight, however, and her best attempt to break out was a failure. "Rhaplanca..." Hikari gave up her struggle, too exhausted to continue and tears started to fall freely to the ground. She could try to sing her Song Magic to break free, but that would only seriously injure Gannon, and she couldn't bear to do that either. So what could she do? Nothing, it seemed.My Song is a Shining Light
