Rick passed the last wall hole and found himself in the main hall just outside the area from where the goons had entered. Calmly walking to the entrance, turned the corner to see them looking and waiting for their target to reemerge.

"Think he's still coming out?" one asked.

"Probably too scared to come out cause we'll cap 'im." the other laughed.

"You think so?" Rick asked after closing in behind them.

Shocked to see that he was behind them they tried to bring their arms around to shoot him. Holding his staff horizontally, he brought it up in an upward arc catching both at the wrist and causing them to fire downward then drop their fire arms. Angered they attempted to strike him with their fists.

Dodging their attacks or deflecting them with his staff, they cringed while rubbing their sore hands and forearms.

"Give up? Probably be a good idea." Rick asked twirling his staff and placing the point on the floor.

He breathed a disappointed sigh when they rushed him once more. Stepping back through the door he placed his staff once more horizontal to his body about head level allowing their rage to blind them and cause them to run into it head first. With a loud crack they fell to the floor unconscious with a few missing teeth.

Seeing that the others had taken care of their opponents, he carefully stepped over the fallen and walked back to the room where the young woman was. "You can come out now." he said with a grin. The girl cautiously peeked around and saw that the goons were down. Gathering up her courage she joined Rick and followed him as he approached the two.

"Thanks for the assistance gentlemen, but I don't recall sending for help." he said not knowing what the two were doing there in the first place.

Rick shook his head and smirked. "Though I'd rather bring the young lady to a safer place, I do owe both of you for distracting and taking down those goons. So if you don't mind I'd like to make this encounter quick. The name's Amp." he said taking a slightly flourished bow. He wasn't sure what these two were doing here nor was he really interested. However he was a man of his word, for the most part, and decided to go along with them. He turned to the girl and apologized that their escape would have to wait. With the racket they had just created, he was worried that they might run into more trouble. Better to take care of things now as a larger group than to risk being separated and ambushed. She nodded in reply.

"Good, we'll have you out of here in no time." he promised.

"So how can I help you gentlemen?" he asked turning to the two.

Shadowman nodded as Fort spoke, "Yep we're making big d*mn heroes of our self. A hand would be appreciated in take down part, especially since we came in from the roof and all the floors below us are ripe with thugs...the more the merrier right?"

"Excellent. So, how much can you pinpoint that ability of yours?" Fort asked. "Can you hit a specific small target at range?"

Amp whistled calmly as Fort asked his question all the same time his cane making light taps on the floor. "Oh I would say about a ten foot 360 radius." he replied. He then spun around and began walking backwards. "For example," He then pointed at the floor. "Right below us are about 5 people. One is asleep in the bed and one is in the bathroom. 3 are chatting in the room and are watching tv in the next room. Is that descriptive enough?" he asked turning back around.

He had gathered all this as they were passing over the rooms below. The drawback was that he wasn't sure if they would be in the said position once they arrived since it basically a snap shot of the moment. Not real time unless he continued to observe in a specific spot.

Amp smiled at the compliment. "Well, having a personal radar and megaphone can come in handy at times." he replied. "Saves me the time of finding nasty surprises. Especially in these hard times."

Amp thought over Fort's plan and nodded. "Seems sound enough, no pun intended. Getting the jump on them with the element of surprise and taking them out quickly will minimize damage and less likely of calling of reinforcements. I have no objections. What of you Shadowguy?" he asked.

He then began to picture in his mind the entire layout of the room and their opponent's positions as well as the light fixtures. "Ok, I've located their positions and the lights. Can you function without them? Or would you like a few intact?" he asked knowing he could use his power to 'see' to a certain extent without light. But what about them?

"Well, I can't see in the dark. So try to leave me at least one, but let's get things as dark as we can otherwise so Shadowman can work his magic." Fort said. "If we're all clear on the plan let's get this show on the road. Amp, if you can give me their positions, and those of the lights, I can move us in."

"Alright, I'm gonna take us all in right where Amp said, but I might move us around once we get there, to get us into positions faster." Fort said. He placed a hand on the shoulder of both men. "Here we go."
In a flash the three of them appeared in the roof directly under where they had been standing a moment ago. Fort noticed the location of the three men watching television and the location of the rooms where the other two men were. He sent Shadowman directly behind the three that were watching television and then jumped through space and appeared in the room that he assumed to be where the sleeping man was. He appeared with a sword in hand and found immediately that he had guessed correctly. He quickly used the pommel of his sword to club the man over the head.
