I believe I'm finished updating the thread look, organizing it a bit, and making some changes. Please be aware of the following changes:
- thread moderators have been listed. These people are IN CHARGE and the ones to decide things like who gets a room, how to handle trouble makers, and the ones to announce things for the thread. If you need to report a trouble maker, if you want to suggest a plot line, contest, or event, or if you notice anything that needs to be addressed, please contact one of them.
As Moo is still away until the end of the month you will be contacting myself or Ink_May. More thread moderators will be listed soon, but for now it's the people listed and no more.
THIS MEANS that though you may be staff in the thread you still should come to a moderator before kicking someone out (unless they're a scammer, hacker, or spammer), making rules in the thread, assigning rooms, or starting a plot. This is not to limit what is going on in the thread or to handicap anyone's activity or creativity; this is simply to make sure that everyone knows what is going on in case any trouble or confusion arises.
- rooms are now for THREAD MODERATORS and GUESTS only, with the exception of people who have already used their room in the RP. This is to make the thread as welcoming to guests as possible and to give an incentive for them to come back. Anyone who has used a room in the RP keeps their room in the RP.
Certain rooms have been freed up based on lack of activity and over the course of time we will continue to open rooms if the occupant disappears. If you return you will get a room back. You do not lose your place as staff if you lose your room. The only people who have been removed from staff are those who have posted saying that they should be removed.
Rooms are EARNED through good behaviour in the RP and continued activity. Please do not promise rooms to people. You may suggest guests to thread moderators, but as the room is meant as an incentive to stay it should not be given out frivolously to the first guest to post after posting once, nor should it be given to anyone who complains about not having one/threatens to never return if not getting one/tries to bribe the staff for one.
How to get a room is clearly posted in the thread under rules, faq, and above the room list.
- REGULARS are people who post regularly in the thread, so the list has been updated.
- please continue to be awesome and keep this thread going smile

I've already listed you in a room, but I haven't finished editting the post so you can't see it just yet. I have you room 13, my old room, because I haven't posted in it yet and I thought a vampire would appreciate the superstition of that number smile
Sachie Whitby Robayn
I've updated both the rules and faq to explain how rooms are gotten and the rooms post itself is now explaining who gets rooms and how they get them smile Also any rooms that were previously occupied by someone who did not post in reply to my quotes last week when I began editing the thread have been emptied and are not available for guests.
May I get one? Or should I edit my posts to go back to freeloading?

Okay! I wanted to make sure because I started making posts from the POV of having a room to the extent of hiring a contractor and there's a work crew in there remodeling it. Robayn

Okay, this all looks great! (:
I probably won't be RPing in the thread often, but I'll check back once or twice. That probably doesn't matter so much, but whatever. xD

Oh, and we're NOT using the OOC thread anymore. Any OOC talk can be made in the RP thread. If it gets too distracting then people can be asked to keep OOC chat from getting out of hand. It is an RP thread, after all. So questions and answers = okay for OOC in the thread, extended discussions of politics, love, life = not okay for the RP thread.

Can you let the guests know? Just so they don't go in and then get all confused because it's empty.

But being bad is so much more fun ;D
Feel free to mention to people that it may be better to take extended conversations to PMs rather than the RP thread, but only if they are stretching it out over more than a couple pages. Each situation will be different due to circumstances, but I think that we all have good judgement skills. If not then there are thread moderators now!

ღ if you like, you can let aiko go. i've not been half as active as i'd like (life is hectic at the moment, and stress just keeps being piled on top of me) and i know that my place could be filled by someone far more useful to the thread than me.
i'd like to keep ai-chan as a character, but maybe quitting formally and just popping in from time to time would be best.
i'm super super sorry, but i really can't handle it right now. perhaps sometime later (after all my exams d'oh) i can be more active, but like i said, somebody else could probably do my place far far better.

Hey gals ands ghouls, valentine's day is coming up and Moo and I were trying to think of a fun way to celebrate that within the advertisement rp thread. So far what we definitely would like to do is affiliate with the host club event, exchanging some banners, and would like to encourage traffic of guests to flow from one to the oth freely. What we don't have is an idea for a theme or plot. Do we want to be lovey doves, anti-valentines, or straight up goofy, and how do we achieve that? Any suggestions would be great!

I'm fine with anything, as long as it's not SO much emphasis on the coupley stuff (for those who are single and/or prefer to go "stag." blaugh ).
Silly is fun! So is all that stuff from elementary school (like passing out lollipops and little valentines to all your classmates, etc.).
I dunno, y'all...party planning is not my strong suit. sweatdrop

Loving your avi, Robayn. <3
On another note, I think anti-valentines would be cool. Very different, y'know?
Or maybe we could have this "matchmaker" thing, and where somebody (or everybody?) is trying to match people up. This could also tie in with silly, since matchmaker things usually end up pretty silly. xD
