Gannon watched as the Reyvateil fled the Dive shop, unable to stop her. "The hell...?" He shot a glance at Nereus. "What the hell did you do?" Not waiting for an answer, the Teru left the building in search for Hikari.

After leaving the Dive Shop, he looked up and down the street, not seeing the blonde girl. "Jeez, for such a little thing, she sure can move... Where could she be?" The sound of a crowd caught his attention. It looked like there was something going on at the doctor's place. "Great..." Gannon took off as fast as he could, the limp from his injuries all but gone.
As he ran, bits of conversations came to his ears. "...Crazy!"

"...Kill us all!"

"Where's the government when we need them!?"

There was no way Hikari could have had a relapse in such a short time, which meant that there was a second Reyvateil in the area going through the same thing. "Not good..." Moments later, he was in the middle of the group of people standing outside the doctor's office. At the sound of another voice, he turned, spotting the blonde girl as well as two others he hadn't expected. "Hikari! Mana, Miko!" He called to get their attention. "What's going on here?" He slid past the people in his way, joining the three girls.

"I still don't know what's going on..." She protested but was quieted by Miko who stood silently beside her. When Gannon came up to them she watched the exchange between both him and Mana. None of her questions were being answered and she could tell something bad was going on. That served to frighten her more.

The younger twin sighed and was about to respond when the building in front of them shook, and the windows blew out, and the building collapsed as if in a demolition. Miko shrieked out of surprise, and was nearly knocked over by the people around who had started to panic and were rushing to get away.

The crazed Reyvateil stepped out from the ruins of the infirmary. "FEEL... MY... PAIN...!" She raised her arms and began singing again, letting loose a powerful burst of Song Magic to the left of her, hitting a house and blasting a hole in the side of it.

Miko whimpered as the Song Magic destroyed part of the house next door to the clinic. "M-Mana what do we do? We can't just leave now!" She gasped when she saw what the Reyvateil was going to do next.

"NO... ESCAPE!" She began singing again, this time her attention was focussed on a group of people trying to evacuate.

"Barrier!" Miko shouted, casting a Teru protection spell to surround the retreating villagers. Just as it went around, the Song Magic collided with it, and almost immidiately began pushing it back. "Oh, no... it's too strong!" She realized with horror. The Song burst through the barrier, knocking the people down. A quick look from Miko told her that luckily, the barrier took the most damage, so they were at least alive. "No, I can't let this happen! I have to do something! I will not let it come true, I won't!" She ran out in the middle, so she stood between the FPD and the injured villagers. "I will not let anymore harm come to this village. Please stop!"

The Reyvateil said nothing, but her attention was now focussed on Miko. She raised her arms and began another Song once again, aiming it at Miko.

~ Hikari ~

As soon as the Reyvateil had blasted her way out of the clinic, Hikari recognized her. She had spoken with her only hours earlier. The girl had mentioned not feeling very well. And Hikari recalled that familiar sensation, the same feeling she felt now. It was as if Hikari had always known this girl. "Mia," she whispered. Wait, why do I know her name? When the Reyvateil began destroying buildings and attacking people, Miko decided to intervene and Mana right after. Hikari stood there, frightened about what was going to happen to them both. Gannon had said it might not be a good idea for her to fight too much until she was healed. But Hikari also knew that there weren't any other Reyvateils around to protect Mana and Miko right now. If only Rhaplanca were here, she would know what to do! But Rhaplanca was still in the dive shop. In the middle of a dive. Hikari knew that she had to at least try. "O-okay, here goes nothing!" She shouted and ran as fast as she could up to Miko and Mana.

The Reyvateil paused for a second, staring at Hikari intently. Then she started up her Song again.

"Umm...? Wh-what do I do...?" Should Hikari have run out there so carelessly? Now that she was out here with Miko and Mana, she had begun to panic.

The young girl was startled at the sudden noisy intrusion. The men loomed over her, and she felt threatened to say the least by how they were talking to her. "I... I haven't done anything wrong! Why should I go with you? Where are you thinking of taking me?" She stepped closer to the young man, hiding behind him. "I want to stay here, with my mother. I don't want to be anywhere but here!"

"Nel? What is wrong?" The elderly woman stepped out from the back. "What is all of the commotion?"

"Mother! These men say I must go with them! Why would they say that?" Nel cried, running up to the woman for comfort.

The elderly woman narrowed her eyes at the soldiers. "Yes, why indeed... We have paid our taxes, followed the laws. What reason could you have to storm right in here and demand that my child come with you?"

~ Hikari ~

Hikari watched as Gannon threw the item at the Reyvateil and cringed. He carries those on him? What if one comes out and attacks me? Mana called over to her and broke through her thoughts. "A song? Ummm... okay."

The Reyvateil closed her eyes and began her own Song. "Was i ga gyengyet en dest gyaeje mea, sarla nha! (Song I impatiently summon, devour and destroy my enemies, quickly!)" A small black dragon appeared right above her as she sang.

"Back to HQ, huh?" The woman smiled sadly, adjusting her glasses. She crossed her arms. "I still have a day before it's official. I only hope that it's enough. Once I'm out of the picture, the supervision of everything here goes to him," she said distastefully. She didn't even know his name, the only thing she knew about him is that he had quite the amount of influence, and he'd risen to power rather quickly. The president almost adored him. And what was worse, Naomi knew that she was the only one who could see, no, sense that his goals and theirs did not coincide at all. Which is why she knew something had to be done. Even if she could do something from behind the scenes. The woman only knew that the company, and possibly the rest of the world resulting, were headed for dark times. "Which is why, with the power I still have, I will do what it takes to keep tabs on this situation."

"Ma'am? The Reyvateil you have requested an audience with is now here to see you."

"Good. Send her in." Naomi crossed her fingers. This one Reyvateil was the last hope of the company's ideals. The last amount of control she had over the situation. If this plan failed, then that suspicious man would have his wishes granted. And Naomi knew that it wouldn't be in their best interest at all.
