Miko~


"I understand how you feel, trust me." Miko gave a sad smile. "To be honest, I'm the outcast in that happy little group. I travel with them, but they haven't accepted me." She sighed, looking away. "All we can do is try to warn them. As far as Hikari goes, just give her time. You were friends when you were little, right? Well, I sort of sensed it on her, but she's been through a lot, and she's seen some awful things. I think the more time you both spend around each other, the more she'll warm up again. I mean, Gannon and Mana met her first, and she's pretty close to them both, right? She's even, somewhat, opened up to me... I think." Miko shrugged. "Once I find my sister, I'll come right over. If nobody believes me or you, they'll believe her," she added bitterly.

He then stop to hear what she said. He then turn around and felt a bit sad for giving a tantrum if it ever was on what he did. "So, we are both outcast. At least you are acknowledged by Hikari...Forgive me. I don't know what is going on with me." Nereus then pause for a bit before continuing. "Shall we go now and waste less time?" He was then feeling a bit nauseous and was hearing a high-pitch sound that was faint.

He then felt a bit ease when she smile at him. Nereus walk with her for a bit without words being exchange. Once they reach the dive shop, Nereus face the direction she was going until he could not see her anymore. He sigh. ´How should I tell them. Should I keep it simple...maybe they are still in the machine; and that will give me more time to think!´ He then clutch his fist and raise it to the sky. He sigh again and open the door. Only one was in the pod. He did not know if he should wait or tell them now. "Ummm...Miko said that there is something that is about to happen. And she told me to tell you, while she go and look for her sister." His tone was just a bit stuff, but firm none the less.

He heard that Hikari, out of all of them responded. Feeling a bit at ease he reply. "All I know is that Miko had a vision while sparring. She told me to tell you guys to meet at the gate. She fears that somethig is bound to happen to this town." Nereus then rested his back against the wall as he ponder on what could possibly happen. He wince a bit as he heard the same high-pitch, but louder this time.

"Miko!" Mana adjusted the weight of the patient on her shoulder and put a hand stopping her younger twin from going any further. "Don't go in there! Just stay out here. If that girl wakes up while you're in there, you're done for." Her grip tightened protectively. "Everyone in there is safe, okay? Trust me on this." She half-pleaded with her twin. Of all people to lose, she didn't think that she could bear it if it were her sister... She leaned forward and whispered into Miko's ear. "We need to get Hikari and split now while the going's good. The army's coming to take care of the outbreak, and we can use that for some cover as we escape. But I'm sure as soon as they're done with that they'll be on the lookout for her again." She turned away from Miko and spied Hikari standing several feet away in the crowd. "Speak of the devil!"

The handsome young man made his way through the densely populated city of Seraca. Sunlight reflected brightly off his light-colored hair and the golden tresses spilled over his eyes. He reached up and brushed the unruly bangs out of his face and surveyed the hustle and bustle of the city. "Reports said she was here..." He muttered to himself. The man stopped briefly in front of a deserted house and unkempt yard. Been a long time, he thought with a ghost of a smile on his face. But as quickly as it appeared on his face, it was gone, replaced with a cold expression. He continued on for a few more blocks into a business district. He spied a small sweets shop and bakery and his stomach growled. Sighing, he stopped in front of the shop and decided to go in. Maybe I could ask if anything strange has happened in the past couple days here, he reasoned with his guilty conscience. The boy stepped inside. He noticed the rack of delicious looking cupcakes and muffins, bagels and bread first. Then he noticed the young girl, probably younger than him from the looks of it, with short mint green hair. She wore a maid's outfit, probably the uniform that the store had employees wear. "Hello." He bowed politely and reached for his wallet and pulled it out. "It all looks so good. I can't decide. Can you recommend something for me, Miss-?"

Nereus was about to respond, but when he was about to say something she left in a hurry. 'I wonder what is up, well I told my part in telling them. I guess I should go to the gate...' Nereus then left without saying a words to the others. As he was walking in the town he heard the same high-pitch noise. He embrace the noise by pretending that it was not there, but it kept going on and on, as if someone was getting closer to him. He look around at the sky first to see if there was anything odd in the sky; there wasn't. He then look around him to see if there was anyone holding some type of of machine; no one had it. "Must be my imagination then..." He said under his breath as he continue to walk. He heard the noise with each step he took, and as he got close to the gate he grab hold of his head and fell in a fetus position as his vision began to be hazy. After awhile everything had darken.
He heard crying, that is all the boy have heard. Eyes being open, he saw the source of it. A young girl being taken away. He saw his hand as the boy was himself. He murmured bunie as there was a huge dark gap between them. All of a sudden the scenery changed and there were machines everywhere, and a teen fixing those machines. After that every thing around him blacken out. There layed Nereus on the ground, still in a fetus position.
