Sex is an art form? Hm, better brush up on becoming a critic, then. ;O
Though personally, I see sex as more of an animalistic urge than an art.

Much as there are dramatically different styles of art, there are different styles of sex. Even animalistic sex can be artistic, albeit in a very instinctual way. Of course, I am biased in the matter.

Eye of the beholder and all that - different styles cater to personal tastes, and sex is an art to some. And bias can give an awesome spin to otherwise bland things, heh heh.

Naturally, then, sex may be compared to art styles- although I truly would not be pleased to find that my partner has a style similar to, say, a cubist painting- all awkward angles.

Cubism. gonk I remember studying that during Art Class... and ever since developing a hatred for anything Dali.
Monet still wins.

What kind of lover would a Monet be?
Messy, I suppose, and you may not exactly be sure what's happening at first, but when you sit back and just relax, it all becomes clear that whatever it is, it really is neat.

That's a pretty interesting viewpoint, and one I can agree with. I'd question the neatness of the whole sex affair - it would probably be messy all the way through. But the end result would be a stunning conclusion and climax of understanding as things become clear.

An artist never knows his own technique until many years of experience. smile So I return the question - what would you be?

So you might be a Giger, then? Interesting indeed. I hear there are very, very few with such similar styles. Do you find your portraits to be clear at first glance, or is it like Monet - you are not sure what's happening at first, but it becomes clear over time?
To that end, I would hazard that I would be more like a fine art work. Probably not the most colourful, nor the most thought-provoking, yet technical.

No... it does seem that for the most part, people know exactly what their getting and they can't decide if that turns them on or terrifies them.

Attention, All IPG'ers! 7 Barton 001581 has been claimed in the name of the IPG, and is now called Gropesville! My house address is 27 Barton 001581, and Yuko's is 17 Barton 001581! If you need to conduct a live interview, and you have no IMs, or your own house, please use mine or Yuko's for such things. I do hope we can get together in Towns, and have a discussion about the IPG, at large, and what we can do with it, and where we can take it, sometime in the future. Thank you for your time, and remember:
All your goodies are belong to us :B
Oh, and by the way, there's a few open spaces in the 001400-001499 area, and a lot in the 002500-002599 area, so if you wanted a house for yourself, now would be the time to get one
Just got one for Rachel, and it's 39 Barton 002470

Tailos I might be wrong, but I think that if you're finding things sexually attractive, you're probably sexual, not asexual. (EDIT: Woo, hidden connotations!) Of course, it could simply be that the right person hasn't come around to visit you yet, so give it a little more time and see what happens. sweatdrop Yeah, I guess I'm sexual, just not gender-specific-sexual. But whatever. Occasionally my sex drive relating to male anatomy just kinda wanders off, so it might come back. Quote: And I don't understand the fixation on jaw muscles, myself. It makes me think images of being eaten alive in a cannabalistic way. sad Well, I'm not actually sure if it's the jaw muscles, but it's the muslces on the lower part of the cheek right by the back of the jaw. I don't know why, but I entirely don't associate them with any form of biting, so, it's weird. Anyways, I would still think of sex as an art, but one that is best expressed between the people directly involved in it. It seems to me that it would be the only art which would at once encompass visual, aural, tactile, olfactory, and...whatever sense it is I'm missing now, combined with direct emotional elements. On a different note, I have a myspace account now it's here.
