Nereus With a smirk he swings his sword and incinerated the arrows. He notice that something was happening to her, not knowing if it was part of her attack or if something was happening, Nereus continue swing his sword. ' Wonder what is wrong with her. Why does she look like she saw something terrible, should I stop, or is this part of her attack.' His mind wanted to stop but his body continue to do the same movements.

Gannon…
The Teru chuckled a bit. "Don't need ta thank me. My reward's the smile on a cute girl's face." He gave her a wink and then glanced over to where Hikari was looking. "Looks like it's time ta head over to Stone Henge."

Miko~

Miko shook out of her stupor. "O-okay, how about this!" She cast an ice spell over her arrows and shot two of them towards Nereus. Being covered in layers of ice it'd be difficult to completely burn the arrows into ash. She did her best to ignore the recurring vision, trying to tell herself that it was nothing.

Nereus Nereus saw that she was using ice magic on the arrows. That was smart, but it also lower the speed of the arrow a bit. He simply dodge it and came rushing towards her. "Let see how good are you in hand to hand." He said as he put his sword in his shoulder and with the free hand he swung at her.

Miko~

"W-whaa!" Miko cried in surprise. She wasn't good with close combat at all. That was more her sister's area of expertise. Miko was better with Teru magic and long-range attacks. She knew that the match was done for if she didn't get out of it, worse, she'd end up hurt pretty badly. She jumped back and out of the way of the swing, then cast her magic. "Barrier!" She cried and the magic forcibly shoved him away from her. "Th-that was close!" She breathed in relief. "I'm not strong like my sister... That would have knocked me out for sure..." I guess he's serious. I should pay more attention to this battle. She frowned a bit. "Since you aren't holding back, I'm going to go full out with my magic as a way to protect myself!" She held her bow up and strummed the string, casting her magic. "Shockwave!" A bunch of Sonic waves struck against Nereus, threatening to blow him even further back.

Mana~

It'd been quite some time since Mana had first settled down in the lounge of the bar and it was about 7 mixes of strong drinks later that she ordered an ale to wash it all down and to finish up, checking on the others. When it came down to it, whatever transpired between Mana and her sister, she was still worried about her. And of course she was a bit concerned about the others. Both of the Reyvateils weren't looking their best, either. And of course, diving into a Reyvateil had its dangers. She had her head resting on one of her forearms, her cheeks rosy from her inebriated state. In the other hand, she loosely held onto the half-empty glass of ale, staring through the glass mug in deep concentration. "Heh. I'm no good with this stuff." She chucked humorlessly. Suddenly, a vision flashed momentarily through her mind, sobering her a little. "Huh-what?!" As quickly as it appeared it was gone, but Mana couldn't help but tremble. She'd seen a glimpse of the town burning to the ground. Mana shot up in her seat, alarmed and glanced around her warily. She downed the rest of her drink and put some Leaf down on the counter to pay for the drinks, and stood. She was done drinking. Wh-what the hell was that? Is it a vision? Like Miko's? Maybe I'm seeing things. I should find Miko and apologize anyways, an' ask her if she's seen anythin' like that. She'll have seen it before me after all... It doesn't happen to me usually. She searched around town for her sister but couldn't find her anywhere. "Damn... maybe she left town. Was she that mad?" Sighing, she stepped into the doctor's clinic. "Maybe she's helping the Doc out.""Mana?" Dr. Gensei greeted her as he stepped out of an examination room. He stopped and did a double take, taking in her disheveled appearance. "You're drunk." He said flatly. The half-ling shook her head and stumbled clumsily. "Not really, Doc. I promise I only had a couple!"The doctor sighed. "Come with me and rest. I'll grab you something to drink. You should have something else in your system or you'll make yourself sick. As you are, I'm not letting you out of this clinic." "Wait, have ya seen Miko anywhere?" Mana asked."No, not since you all left here yesterday." The doctor answered, half-dragging Mana into the exam room and forced her to lie down. He then left the room, shortly returning with a cup of herbal remedy tea. "Drink this. Then lie down and rest until you've sobered up a bit. That's an order." "Maaan..." Mana muttered, taking the tea and drinking it down. She lay back. "Fine. But tell me right away if you see her, kay?" Mana turned over on her side and closed her eyes for a little while. "What'd you put in this stuff, Doc? I'm really sleepy now.""It's just a remedy for the toxins that you foolishly stuck your body with. You should feel refreshed in a little while. Until then, rest there." The doctor sighed and rolled his eyes. He left the girl to sleep it off for a little while and went to check on his other patient. "How are you feeling, Mia?" The young girl shook her head. "N-not so good, Doctor... Wh-what's happening to me?" "It looks like Tattoolist. I'm going to have to check you to find your Installer Port. You're at the age now where your Reyvateilic qualities will begin to show, so it makes sense. Once we find your Installer Port, we can install the Diquility crystal into you and you should feel much better." The Doctor explained evenly. "So... I'm a Reyvateil? That's what it is?" The girl sighed sadly. "I was afraid of this." "Why? Is it a bad thing?" The doctor asked. "I would think it should be a blessing. You have a gift that others lack. If only I could sing song magic to heal the sick and wounded." Mia shook her head vehemently. "Of course not! It's a nightmare! I'm not a prized and powerful ß-type Reyvateils that everyone loves and admires. I'm just a Third-Generation, and you know everyone hates Third-Generations!" Her hands clenched into fists. "My life is over..." She crumbled into tears. The doctor sighed. This was a typical response to finding out one was a Reyvateil. He would always do his best to encourage his patients, but they normally looked at it from a negative point of view. And why wouldn't they? Few Third-Generations were treated well, unless they possessed incredibly strong magic, on par with that of a ß-type, but that rarely happened. "Your life is only over if you believe it is. I know many Third-Generations who live relatively normal lives. However we shouldn't let you stay sick for much longer or you may not recover." "You're... all the same..." Mia muttered between sobs. The doctor turned around. "What do you mean, Mia?" "HUMANS... ARE THE SAME.."The doctor's eyes widened. F.P.D! She is infected! He quickly grabbed a sedative and injected her with it. When the girl collapsed, he let out a breath that he hadn't realized he'd been holding. But he couldn't rest. He had to evacuate the building now.

"C-cute...?" Hikari couldn't remember a time when someone used that word when referring to her. She didn't know how to respond so she said nothing more and just nodded, following him to the glowing altar. Once they reached there, she turned around. "Um... I guess... this is it...?" She smiled to cover up the fact that she was trembling from nerves. "Gannon, you said you'd come back to see me, right?" She looked away stubbornly. "If not, it's quite all right. Besides, I'm not sure if it's a good idea for you to see much farther." She clasped her hands together. "We probably won't be together that long. That, and I'm sure that you'll only regret it. But... part of me really hopes to see you again. So... I'll leave it up to you, okay? I'm going now. Take care!" Hikari waved and then disappeared into the light. "I would like to thank you as well. I've come here from a deeper layer of Hikari's mind to speak with you." The girl that stood before him smiled warmly. "You taught Hikari to try her best, and you were able to set little Kari free by answering my call for help. You've done so much for us, more than you will ever know. I know that you care enough for us to not want us to come to harm." Her smile disappeared. "Which is why I want you to stop visiting this world now." This version of Hikari became completely expressionless. "If you were to keep coming into this world, instead of helping anything else, your presence would gradually make things worse. You will be giving 'her' too much power should you keep coming." She bowed before Gannon. "I know that you may have promised the Hikari of this level that you would return, but please, neither of you know the dangers that you will face should you both continue."

Nereus Nereus then swung his sword but it was too late for the shock wave spell had sent him further away. Using this as an advantage he then jump and use the tree to propel him upward. He leaped with great heights due to the fact that he blown away. In the sky he looked around and saw that there was no way he could penetrate the barrier. He felt the warmth of his blade as the aura was becoming visible. He smirked knowing that his invention had worked. With the few seconds he had left he thrust his sword towards her, aiming for the ground. "You may have notice or start to about my sword and how a light-red aura is surrounding it...." He landed and the barrier was still intact he then moved around it as he hacked and slash while continuing. "Well that is thanks to your arrows covered in fire, remember how I said that I got my own unique magic. Well this is it." After a while the barrier shattered as he gave one final thrust. He then prepared himself for whatever magic she was planing to do.

Gannon…
Gannon stood silently, waiting for the other Hikari to finish speaking before shaking his head. "I may not know what'll happen in here if I keep diving, but do you know what's going on in the outside world? You know that Hikari's an F.P.D. But there's a virus sweeping throughout all F.P.D.'s. And until I can find the debug crystal, I'm going to have to keep diving. If I don't, Hikari would be lost. Her Cosmosphere would completely shut down. I really don't think that's what any of us want. Am I right?" The Teru tried to read some expression from the Reyvateil in front of him, but gave up after a few moments. "Look. I'll make you a deal. I won't dive again until I absolutely have to. Alright?"

The Priestess nodded. "I am somewhat aware of what is happening inside of the Fau Pira, however, I am here representing the overall wishes of Hikari as a whole. She knows what will become of her once the virus competely overtakes this world. Hikari is expecting it, accepting it, even embracing it. Which is one of the reasons that I came to ask you to stop here. We do not wish to create any strong bonds with others. They will only be severed painfully upon our demise. Further, there is a strong, willful presence within Hikari that we are all currently fighting with. Should you keep diving, you will give that personality the power she needs to overthrow the rest of us. If that should happen, all of the negative feelings and wicked desires that Hikari barely manages to keep control over will spiral out of her control. At the worst, she could relapse with devastating results. At the best, her personality could change for the worse. Either way, I couldn't imagine a very good outcome for you." The woman sighed wearily and her expression softened. "We are tired of fighting and running. Eternal rest... doesn't seem so bad."

Gannon…
The Teru nodded and spoke. "I understand what you're saying. But I'm telling you that I can't accept it. I don't know about this other personality, but I'll do what I can to prevent that. What I'm concerned with is the fact that you're all ready to roll over and die. I have to ask. Are you really that stupid? Or weak? No. You're not! Hikari's not! She's just too damn nice for her own good. She'd rather die then be a burden on anyone. And I'm telling you that I'm not going to allow that. Do you hear me? And I won't take no for an answer!" With that, Gannon turned and headed into the blinding light of the Paradigm Shift.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Hikari opened her eyes and sat up as the pod opened up. She blinked. "I'm awake? Did it work?" She shakily stood and looked around her. Hikari didn't feel any different... Maybe it's just me. I'm sure that the dive worked. I know there was a paradigm shift, but, I'm still so... lethargic. She sighed."All better now, Princess?" Zek came up and put his arm around her. "Y-yes..." Hikari replied nervously, slipping from his grasp. "I'm fine." The Reyvateil scooted farther away from him. "So, Rhaplanca and Ishira aren't done yet? I hope that they are all right..." A worried frown was on her face as she stared down at them. She glanced over to Gannon's pod. "Is he okay after diving into me?""Oh? Sure, he is. Should be waking up any second, so don't worry about him. And those two, as far as the monitors show there aren't any anomolies in the system." "All right, I'll just stay and watch over them, then." She smiled, relieved to hear that so far, everything seemed to be going all right. My Song is a Shining Light

Miko~

The half-Teru jumped back and strummed her bow's string. "All right, so you used my magic to heat your sword up? That's fine with me. Ice Blast!" She shouted, unleashing a full blast of arctic chill which struck Nereus' sword.

Nereus Nereus saw that his bright aura began to glow a faint white one. He knew that if she figured it out then he would be in deep trouble, even thought this as just a practice spar. Nereus then rushed towards her as he struck his sword on the ground and begin to swing a bit wild. Even though he was fighting Miko his mind thought that it was Mana.
