The patrol itself hadn't been out of the ordinary, nor had it been particularly dangerous thankfully. Hania had been sticking close to Arthuradel lately as he could tell something was up but the pre-teen hadn't told him what was on her mind, only welcomed all the cuddling. He was frankly worried what had her upset but he wasn't going to push it yet though if he found out she hadn't even talked to Morgan about it then he might soon.

Any thoughts about what was on Arthur's mind however was temporarily pushed to the back burner when he suddenly felt the pull. The Mauvian was about to speak up but the pre-teen at his side got to it first and he instead gave a nod in confirmation. Once they started to head towards the pull, it didn't take them long to reach the end, and Hania's eyes darted from person to person when they reach the crowd. He heard Morgan try to explain to Arthur the answers to her questions and chimed in after a moment to help expand a bit for both her and Guinevere's sakes. "Caedus was trapped in the rift and got free only a few years ago. He did indeed help with an attack, one that cost the Negaverse one of their general-queens."

He then looked over to the royals that Arthur mentioned and added on, "That is Princess Ganymede, and Prince Castor. Both are Senshi that have reached a step beyond what can normally be reached." Honestly though he hadn't met any of the three in person, he hadn't had his memories back until after the attack on the Negaverse had happened and he hadn't reached out to the royals to personally meet them for any reason yet. The information he was saying was rather from the database of information.

Super Sailor Athalia

He gave a start as Metis touched his shoulder and quickly looked down. The surprise did turn in to something akin to delight as he recognised who it was though and he offered a warm smile. He soon relaxed after that and though he hadn't asked for the history lesson, at least Metis knew him well enough to know that he at least needed a crash course in the who, what, when and why of it all. It was fortunate that he did have some of the more 'young' senshi and knights around him too, as he was sure they probably appreciated a very brief introduction as well.

...Not that it bought him over entirely.

"You know you can summon me at any time you would like," he replied smoothly and folded his arms across his chest once more, his lips pursing as he flicked his gaze back towards Caedus. Had he heard the tail end of that right, was he referring to an alliance of some sort? And just who was going to negotiate that on their behalf, the last time he checked there was a singular force who represented every individual on earth.

More to the point -

"He is not wearing rags, if anything he's dressed in what can only be described as military attire," he added and released a sigh. "And you will have to forgive me but regardless of what he might have done in the past I take extreme issue with anything and anyone who can 'pull' me anywhere," he pointed out. Trust was earned, not freely given, and at this point Athalia neither respected or trusted the individual who seemed to have the capacity to manipulate a very specific aspect of what he was.

He would concede that the capacity to assault the Negaverse directly was of interest though, even if he doubted they now had the numbers or expertise to do any measure of damage to them at this point in time.

"By the way I have it on good authority from a very reputable source that at some stage you and I need to talk," he finished as he gave the much more senior senshi a nudge. "So when you are next available and we are not completely surrounded by cooing crowds, I would appreciate an audience."

A pause.

"Oh but where are my manners," he motioned to all three of those in his immediate company and smiled. "This is Kepler, Sparta and Pendour," he pointed to each in turn. "They can do the honours of introducing themselves more thoroughly lest I do them a disservice and get something wrong."

Ida nodded slowly to Ganymede’s response. It went along the same lines as her own thoughts. She didn’t want to be suspicious, but something about all of this just put her on edge. He was an ally, this should be a good development, but without knowing how this would affect things, she worried over it.

Feeling arms close around her waist, the eternal looked down in surprise, a smile blooming across her face.

“Tachibana! Hello!” She said as she bent enough to hung the younger girl, resting a hand on her shoulder when she straightened again. “I don’t know what’s going on yet, but hopefully we’ll find out soon. This is Princess Ganymede, and Knight Valhalla…”

She pointed out each of the people about him that she knew, or that Ganymede mentioned. More arrived, drifting in as they all waited, swelling their numbers. It made her itch, just a little, to have so many of them in one place, royals and all (she’d felt the flare and seen Castor through the crowd). Something must be working to keep the Negaverse from sensing them, but that on top of everything else made her nervous…

And she perked, hearing Caedus speak of others. He hadn’t come alone, though that might have been obvious. There were other aliens? She couldn’t help the interest that sparked.

“This is Tachibana.” Ida said as she pulled her attention back to Ganymede, hearing her own name spoken as she was introduced. She offered a small smile, trying not to seem harried. “She’s a Koronis.”

Chibi Super Charybdis, Senshi of Seals

Charybdis loved patrolling with her friend, even though since the night that Giulia had been introduced to just how lucky she had been so far in her ignorance, while saving the stained glass princess squire Caer Sidi... well. She had been much more hesitant to try and go out patrolling by herself, escaping the restrictions upon her by her older sister. Defiance had somehow seemed much less good. Much less exciting.

The text from Scylla had come not long after she and Ara had sensed a tug, as though something wanted them to come outside the town. That was bad; if the text hadn't come, Giulia would have tried to dissuade Ara from going.

Scylla had approached a tall guy with pointy ears and a fancy uniform, and Ara was being surrounded by people who knew her, and Charybdis took the opportunity to be nosy, looking around at all the people who were approaching the area, and then at the... something. It was like a glass wall, or something; if Charybdis hadn't caught the smallest flicker, she wouldn't have known it was there.

"I think you might be getting a new daddy soon. Do you know who he is? Or for that matter what he is?"

"Him?" Giulia looked over, but all she could see was a blonde hairy man (Puck) next to her sister. "Wha? Maybe he's a fairy? Or a hobo?" Giulia had already forgotten Scylla had been hugging an alien - Jada hugged a lot of people, she liked them. "And I have a daddy, an uncle, two brothers, and a cat; they're all annoying and I love them. I don't need any other male-folk lurking around the house and like... kissing or something. Gross."

Speaking of her dad, Castor was here too! He also seemed to be friends with that blue alien guy. Huh. Maybe it was an old person they all knew?

Transcended knight Venice of Ganymede

Like Erebus he too had noticed their alien friend being overwhelemed by people, lots of questiosn and concerns. He understood it, to a point, when it had been three years ago that Caedus had left them all after helping them. But bringing up political things seemed a bit much at the moment, the man had only just arrived it seemed. Caedus had mentioned they were still setting up behind the dome after all.

Shaking his head he gave Erebus' hand a little squeeze. "Yeah, that would be the best I think. Otherwise we might get trampled by people." And he wasn't much for being walked into, pushed, and jostled about.

As he and Erebus stepped back he caught sight of Ganymede and gave a simple nod of his head. It had been a long time since he'd seen her, and they'd never seen much of each other in the past, but he wasn't going to ignore her. Anyway Erebus had spotted his cousin so he followed at his husbands side. "Metis, it's good to see you."

Asphodel Knight of Saturn

Another alien, so soon? Asphodel wondered how often this happened. But this felt quite different from the events at the Star Festival. Everything was so open. The otherworldly visitor was clearly friends with many of the people he could call allies now, and the rhythm of words and gestures being exchanged created an atmosphere quite like a family gathering. He walked into the area without feeling much need to keep his guard up at all.

He noted a couple of familiar faces - Kerberos and Cybele - and gave them a look of acknowledgement as he passed them by. Hopefully they could catch up a bit later.

Then, someone he'd been hoping to find for weeks crossed his eye. A twinge of guilt hit him immediately as he remembered the blade he'd thrown into his arm -- such a memory made Valhalla Knight easy to recognize. The fellow Knight seemed to have a good understanding of what was going on, so that was more than one good reason to try and talk to him.

So, after striding over and waiting for a gap in the conversation, he politely stepped in. "Good to see you again," he said. "I've been out of town for a long time. Can I get a briefing?"

It didn't occur to him Valhalla might not recognize him.

Sailor Sìdòuèr - Senshi of StaticUser Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Patrolling at least every other day was a part of Sidouer's normal routine, it left her with about a 50-50 chance of being out when a strong pull of something... 'other'... all but forced her to to abandon her normal route to investigate what was going on.

The closer she got to the hill, the more aura signatures she sensed gathering and upon arrival, the Senshi of Static had to pause on the outskirts of the startling large group of knight and White Moon senshi. It took a long moment to process what was going on but then she spotted him, Caedus.

Jade-pink eyes narrowed, warry of his return. "This can't be good..." With a swipe of her hand, she opened her subspace pocket and pulled out her second civilian phone, and sent Hannah a text with her current GPS location. There was no message to go along with it but she knew that the Senshi of Prayer would understand since the information was coming from this phone instead of her normal one.

Stowing the phone back into subspace, Sidouer observed from a safe distance. Watching as some approached the blue-skinned man with a friendliness that seemed more than odd to her.

Sailor Eleonora - Senshi of Heat
Sailor Alcor - Senshi of Cold
User ImageUser Image

To say it was a struggle to convince her twin to come was a vast understatement. It took vast amounts of bribes and promises, with her fingers crossed behind her back of course, for Eleonora to finally get Alcor to agree to come with her; if only to watch her back and keep her safe in case something happened because one way or another, the Senshi of Heat wanted to be in the know and see what was going on.

"Hey, it's that guy from when we-" Eleonora found herself quite forcibly cut off by her sisters' strong grip on her arm. Immediately she paused and leveled a childish glare at eyes that mirrored the same look of irritation. "What?"

"Yes, Ele. That's the same guy," thing... alien... God she didn't know what Caedus was other than something that had burst from the rift and called the White Moon Senshi and the Knights to his aid. Or some variation of the event but that's how she remembered it. "And if you care to recall. He is also the one that nearly got us killed by sending everyone into the Negaverse stronghold. Had Cosmos not stepped in and pulled us out... you." pointed a finger at her pale-haired twin. "Me... Liryn... Athene." Paused a moment to let the gravity of that statement sit in. "We'd all be dead Ele"

"You don't know that for sure. Plus, it was our decision to go in there; it's not like he was twisting an arm behind our back." Eleonora responded, shrugging her shoulder out of Alcor's grasp and taking a step away. For a quick moment, she turned her attention to the group of Senshi and Knights around him and honestly wanted to join them and see Caedus up close since she never got a chance before he left.

"Don't," Alcor tried to keep her voice low as to not draw attention to their conversation but it was difficult to hide the rise of panic in her voice. "We weren't ready then, and we aren't ready now to help with whatever it is he called us here for"

"And whose faults that," Leveled all the blame on Alcor because it was her reluctance to find a way to grow stronger that kept them at the bottom of the power pool. "If you want to go home, then go home. But I'm staying.

"You promised... again, Alcor made a grab for her sister's arm but this time Ele was prepared and maneuvered away.

"I lied." Before she could bear witness to her sister's look of betrayal, Eleonora danced between the crowd of Senshi and knights to get a closer look at the aliens.

Alcor, on her part, stood in complete bewilderment and shock. Didn't leave, not yet, but also didn't chase after Eleonora either.

That Erebus and Venice took a step back was not missed by Caedus, and he offered them a quick, apologetic smile. He had fondness for both of them, and seemed grateful to see them, but it was no small effort to juggle everyone and everything, and as the moments ticked on he seemed to be getting more nervous. Even with the space, he was grateful that Encke remained. Castor had offered no hostility but he was always nervous around such power, it seemed.

In the distance, he was aware of Metis’ wave, and though it had caught him by surprise, he found himself waving back instinctively.

“I remember you,” he said to Etamin, and smiled. “You have grown very powerful. I hope you have been able to protect your loved ones. And you!” he looked down to Realta and, if he hadn’t been so close to needing to make an announcement, he too might have knelt to scoop her up and pet her. “Thank you, my friend. I am so excited to be able to catch up with everyone. After this. I have to introduce myself again.”

Because, for everyone he knew, there were still so many who did not know him.

He looked nervous, and had to close his eyes for a second to will himself the strength to speak. To those around him, he offered a quick, “I apologize. I must be loud.”

He cleared his throat, then, and spoke to address everyone.

Once, his voice was low and metallic and gravelly from misuse, but now it seemed he had recovered--at least, somewhat. There was still an echo of gravel in his voice, and maybe he’d permanently damaged it, or it was just how he’d always sounded.

“Thank you all for coming,” he began. “I am as grateful now as always to see so many of you. Some, I know. Some, I do not. Which means I need to introduce myself to those of you who do not know me.” Or, did not remember.

“I am bad at doing the math for this,” he prefaced, “Please forgive me. Many years ago, I was betrayed. The Moon and Earth had not yet entered hostilities in their war. I came with a small team of diplomats to ensure my people would be safe. Earth was our ally. Queen Beryl disrupted things, but we wanted to maintain alliances with Earth. But during our meeting, she attacked. I was separated from my group. I was lost. In her domain. I wound up in the Rift, with all of her monsters. They must have thought me dead. They did not pursue me. They forgot about me. But I did not forget about them. When I escaped the Rift, I arrived here. And I met many of you. And you helped me attack them. We did not succeed in destroying them before, but I was rash and blinded by purpose. And, I am sorry.”

He had to take a breath before he could continue; he was speaking as quickly as he could, either because he was flustered or because it was easiest for him to translate into short, quick sentences.

“But I have not come unprepared this time. I have brought with me the best of the best. And I have told them of the Negaverse. I have told them how dangerous they are, and what they want to do to your world. And--”

The glassy wall behind Caedus rippled for a second, and he half-turned to face it--just in time to draw attention to the man who had stepped out of it.

The newcomer was impressive on nearly all counts and towered over most of the crown; he was only taller than Caedus by a few inches but was instantly more imposing. He was broad shouldered and well built; it might have taken nearly two of Caedus’ arms to make up the bulk of one of his own.

And yet, despite his physique, there was something gentle about him. He had a commanding presence but it wasn’t smothering in the slightest. He had turquoise eyes and pale, purple skin. His hair nearly matched Caedus’ in color; it was silvery, cut short in the back but his bangs fell to his cheeks and were parted in the middle and swept to the sides of his face.

At first, his lips were pressed in a firm line as he surveyed the group, and then a kind smile blossomed. “Ah. His Highness mentioned there were a lot of you. I was wrong to doubt.”

Caedus’ eyes flashed and he corrected quickly, and quietly, “Caedus.” Looking back to the group gathered before him, he smiled again. “This is my good friend, and very trusted adviser, Commodore Lyndin. I have known him nearly all my life. He was with me when I was trapped on Earth. We were separated, he was able to make it back home with the rest of our team. They thought I was lost forever, but he has given me such a welcome since I returned. It has been very nice. He has offered all of his assistance.”

Lyndin nodded, and while there was a very serious air about him, something still managed to be warm. He seemed reserved, but friendly enough, if not a bit guarded.

“It was the least I could do. I wish I had known you were trapped down there. Things would have been very different. I can only try to make amends for that mistake now. Forgive me for interrupting.”

“You have not,” Caedus assured. “Please, you are more familiar with the intricacies of this plan.”

Lyndin nodded at this, and he seemed far more comfortable in front of the group of them. “All right. Thank you.”

He faced the group again, unflinching at their numbers. “I look forward to getting to know you and your planet, and seeing what we can do for it. I have selected some of my most trusted and promising subordinates to join us. I am sure--”

Caedus was giving him a look, so Lyndin made sure to get his name right. “--Caedus has told you of the Vanguard.”

And yet, in case he had not, Lyndin explained, “We protect our world and our people. And we have, since before we had much of anything to protect. We have a temporary home, a world Caedus says is unknown to you. The Vanguard protects this new world, Velencya. We have left many behind to ensure its protection in my absence, but I have brought my best commanders to aid us. They’re inside still, helping set up.”

He took a few seconds to look at the group, at the city, at the moon. He wasn’t easily distracted and it seemed easy for him to focus on this presentation.

“I don’t have a lot of time, I should be inside helping them. I just wanted to make sure everything was going well out here and introduce myself. I need to ensure preparations are made and it’s going to be a time-consuming task. You want to destroy the Negaverse. Caedus has asked us to put all of our resources into that.”

Lyndin shifted positions where he stood, not from discomfort but because he had a purpose in mind. He reached for a little band on his wrist and pressed a few buttons; immediately, a projection of the night sky appeared, bathed in a pale blue light. It flickered, and then a comet appeared on the screen.

It wasn’t a large screen, but at a few feet wide and a few feet tall, it was easy enough to make out the details.

“I don’t want to mince words,” he said, with a bold voice that echoed easily. “We have one chance, and one chance only to make this work. We’ve brought the supplies we need to build a weapon capable of tearing into the Rift. But, to do so, we need immense power. My people will need to borrow some from Earth. Nothing you’ll miss, and no one has to get hurt. We need to secure a stable connection to this comet. It’ll pass through in a few weeks, and we need to be prepared to harness its resources.”

Caedus looked to him with obvious trust and respect, and it seemed like Lyndin was someone used to being viewed with such reverence.

“There are some who believe this ancient comet houses magical properties. I don’t know if I believe that myself, but I know that we can siphon the energy out of it. Its core is pure, compressed energy. I don’t expect that you have technology like that here?” he asked, but seemed to do so with no means of insult. “When this succeeds--and, it will--we’ll share that information. We can teach you how to build your own. But all of that is contingent on having a safe planet to wield that power.”

“To have that power would be enough to decimate the Negaverse,” Caedus said, hopeful and enthusiastic. “Enough to tear open a portal into their domain and fire all that raw energy right into it. It is enough to crumble it from the inside out.”

Lyndin nodded. “It is that powerful. I understand not all of you might be inclined to trust us, or to want to help us. I take no offense, we’re outsiders. But we are a part of your universe, and your planet is sick. You can’t fix this on your own. If you won’t help us, I ask that you give us the space to do what we need. I realize this might seem dangerous to you, but I have lived many of your lifetimes, and I have never failed a mission. If you leave Metallia to me, I will see that this is finished.”

Caedus turned from Lyndin to face the crowd again. “If she can be destroyed, there is a possibility that the Chaos she has implanted in her army will be destroyed with her. In one single action, we might be able to destroy all of her ties to them. It would mean no more fighting. And, it would mean they are saved.”

Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos

Hyperborea was a little shocked by the sudden arrival of another Royal. “Prince Castor?” She inclined her head in a confused greeting as she knew even less of the man than she did Ganymede. What little she did know of him was not good, she know him by way of violent reputation. She had not seen him in what felt like years she was a little shocked to see him here now and he took charge of the conversation with Caedus so Hyperborea instead focused on her friends who had arrived.

“Caedus is an old friend of Order, he helped us break into the Negaverse that resulted in us retrieving a significant portion of the code and dealing several blows to them in the process.” Hyperborea explained to Caer, Delphi, and Læraðr happy to see the Page here and feeling comforted by the Squire’s presence as she interlaced her fingers with the other girl’s and looking back at Delphi happy to see the older woman even if she was surprised the woman had never met Caedus. “And I wouldn’t worry Delphi. Even if we’re a big target who would be fool enough to try we’ve got two Royals plus us and the other Knights and Eternals.

Hyperborea turn her attention back Caedus as he began to address the group and then another of his kind showed up to speak of plans Hyperborea was uncertain of.

“Comodore Lyndin, Caedus while I appreciate the spirit and ingenuity of this plan do you not think it is a bit indiscriminate. Throwing the baby out with the bath water and what not. There are many in the Negaverse who can be saved and purified even youma! Many serve chaos because of force or due to lies they deserve a chance.” She thought back to Evan a soul she had thought lost but was now an eternal fighting for order. She didn’t think it was right to basically drop a nuke in the rift and be done with it.

“Is there no way to make that more precise. Use the weapon to just kill Metallia?” If they could just do that she felt it would solve most of their problems.

Sailor Tachibana, Chibi Senshi of Chrysanthemums

Tachibana was a little nervous as the princess greeted her along with an ever growing group beside her. She stepped away from Ida to bow respectfully before introducing herself. “I’m Sailor Tachibana senshi of the Chrysanthemums. It’s nice to meet you” the 12 year old said in her most polite greeting tone. She didn’t want to look ill mannered in front of so many people.

Ida hug was warm and made the young senshi feel good. She had missed the defacto leader of the Koronis. She was such a strong presence. Tachibana nodded at the introduction. “Hello Princess Ganymede and Sir Valhalla.”

Tachibana then turned to listen to Caedus and his ally who walked out. They spoke of a weapon that would destroy the Negaverse in one foul swoop, it sounded too good to be true but Tachibana would love it if they could ensure something like that last battle never happened again. “Do you think it’ll work Ida-nee what about you Princess Ganymede, Sir Valhalla?” She was curious what the older wiser and more powerful fighters had to say. She hoped they would know what was the right thing to do because at the moment she didn't.

Super Sailor Ara, Chibi Senshi of Illumination

Ara wrinkled her nose. "No not him. Although he does look like a fairy hobo doesn't he." She said tapping a thoughtful finger against her cheek as she pondered the Eternal who also seemed to be a friend of Scylla's. "That Alien guy
Scylla was all over." Ara was getting to the age where she found that sort of thing less gross though she still hadn't met a boy that she was interested in at least not in that way.

Ara shrugged and glanced around at the gathering. "Wow, there's a princess and prince here." She said motioning to each. "This, whatever this is must be very important." She hoping it was nothing bad.

Then the alien guy and one of his friends, who came out, started explaining there plan. Ara looked to Charybdis. "This plan sounds amazing, if it actually works we could save so many people. No would have to get hurt in battles again, we could just have fun on our planets exploring our powers." She did feel like it was perhaps too good to be true but if there was even a slim chance that it would work then wasn't it her obligation to try to help.

Ara wasn't afraid to give up energy if it meant that this plan would succeed but she knew that she didn't have as much energy as some of the adult senshi and knights, especially the transcended ones like Scylla. She hoped those Senshi and Knights would agree. Even if the plan didn't work not trying would be worse. She turned to Charybdis. "We should give energy." She suggested as she looked to her best friend hoping she was on board for this plan like she was.

Asphodel Knight of Saturn

Well. That answered most of his questions. It also raised many more. But now his eyes were wide and his jaw was loose at what these people were offering.

A way to completely destroy the Negaverse in one strike.

He would give anything for that.

Reasons to be suspicious were running through his mind, but the reasons to try were far greater. He was already interested.

Yomi-no-kuni, Squire of Saturn

"When Order stormed the rift?" Yomi thought for a minute. "Oh I do remember that now. To be honest I hid away during that." Yomi said his cheeks turning pink at the memory of his cowardice. "I remember things going crazy, a General Queen was killed, a massive youma was downed, and Lauralite was gravely injured. It was after that that the three General Sovereigns who currently rule the Negaverse were brought in and Laurelite was promoted to Queen of the Negaverse." Yomi elaborated for his adoptive older brother.

He listened to the Aliens explain their plans and he shook his head. "I don't think it'll work. The Negaverse is too entrenched even if the weapon works I doubt it will get all the members across the world. This could serve as a rallying point for them, push them to more extreme measures." No the only path to victory as he saw it was a slow war of attrition bringing members over and proving that the Negaverse was untenable as an organization. He didn't think any kind of super weapon would do the job.

Sailor Arthuradel, Chibi Senshi of Honor

Arthuradel nodded as Hania explained who the royals were. It was strange to see them especially but also all the other powerful members of order gathered in one place but without any Chaos members to fight. It made her nervous like something was going to blow up again. But in a way it also made her feel secure, knowing that if something did go down if they were attack that there were so many powerful Order fighters around. She wished that Prince or Princess had been at the recent battle maybe then that Page wouldn't have been killed.

She listened as Morgan explained the Alien. "So he's a friend. He helped us attack the Negaverse?" Sure enough the Alien himself soon verified this as he and another alien who showed up explained their plan.

She frowned. "I don't know about this plan." She would love to get rid of the Negaverse but something about it just felt wrong to her. Sure enough a bunch of other people voiced their concerns. She turned to her three older companions. "I don't think trying to use some super weapon to take out the Negaverse is right, but what about you guys?" She wanted to know their opinions afterall they were older and presumably wiser than herself.

Squire Lourdes

Like us.

I was good, Lourdes realized, to have people that had gone through the same thing she had. Someone who she could look to and ask “is this a normal thing to be going through?” She smiled brightly at the approaching senshi, and then smiled even wider at the mention of her shoes. She looked down at her own feet and gestured vaguely at the ground.

“I suppose that it’s a bit of magic that I don’t fall and break my neck,” she chuckled. “Normally I wear flats as a civilian. And I normally change into flats when I power up but… I was distracted tonight. I’m Lourdes,” she finished with confidence she was only just beginning to finally feel.

Someday she’d show Scylla and Cybele just how much she owed them for how kindly they’d treated her. In truth, she owed them both her life.

She was about to say more when Caedus, the alien, began speaking again.

So he was royalty? Scylla had been awfully familiar with someone of royal descent, but then again perhaps she didn’t know. Or maybe she just didn’t care. Lourdes hadn’t known Scylla long, but she seemed like the kind of woman who didn’t stand on occasion for anyone. Either way, that really was the smallest concern that Lourdes had at the moment. What was screaming to the forefront of her mind, making her tremble with anxiety all over again, was three major things.

One: This man, however familiar he seemed to Scylla, had spent a considerable amount of time in the rift. It wasn’t a place Lourdes had gone when she was still Hopeite, but she knew enough about it to know that nothing good ever came from within.

Two: There were more of them. With the appearance of this new stranger and his title of “Commodore,” Lourdes visibly tensed up. How many more were there? Were they greater in number than the senshi within the city? Greater than the negaverse? Than both of them combined? These were clearly more advanced people, with greater physical abilities if their size said anything. They could make a crater of the whole city if they wanted.

Three: They wanted to borrow power from the earth, and while he didn’t say as much, that sounded an awful lot like energy. There was only one group he knew that needed energy from others. And Lourdes wasn’t super keen on going back to working with that organization.

Between the royal among them having been trapped in the rift and them needing “power” things seemed fishy as hell. Lourdes didn’t really care, at that moment, that they had promised to rip a hole right into the negaverse. Sure, Lourdes would like nothing more than to waltz right back in there and smash a couple of skulls that made her life a living hell for years but…

“This weapon seems immensely powerful,” Lourdes called out, stepping forward despite the fear in her voice and in her stance. “What’s to prove to us that you won’t use it to destroy all of earth?”

Scylla may have trusted Caedus, but Lourdes wasn’t so sure. She wanted data, she wanted proof. She wanted to be sure that she wasn’t putting anyone else in the way of harm.

Page Agrippa

So many gathering. Agrippa was about to introduce herself when the stranger began talking. She listened as best she could, even if, in truth, it was hard to follow. She’d only been powered for a month at best, so there was much she didn’t understand.

But one thing she did understand more than anything else.

An end to war.

Her eyes widened and she looked around at the senshi and knights around her.

“Could… could such a thing be possible,” she asked to anyone who cared to hear and answer her.
