Giglamesh made a dd noise when he said his name trying not to laugh, Gig wasnt trying to be rude, quite the opposite, but gig did not expect a name like that. "Its a pleasure to meet you..p...philip screw ....driver" Gig was almost sweating just from refraining from laughing from saying his name. "Eh!?" gig noticed river, it looked as if she may of been choking, serves her right, they had so much food already she didnt need to ask for more. .....But still it was river so, mild punch to her abdomen. "..Eh..Oh sorry...thought there was a fly...." He tried to play it off, still trying not to laugh from phil's name, and now her.

Phil would get a sweat bead and sigh, everybody always has that reaction. "Driever Driever...oh it dont matter...i should be used to it now since the name is fitting." (he pronounces it "dre-ver") He would move his long single bang out of his face, only for it to slide right back in his face because of the weight from the beads. "...A odd name right...used to hate it and thought about changing it when i was younger till....well ironically it began to fit, seeing as im a engineer....in fact im the architect and engineer for this entire facility." He said with a slight smirk and wink at river, he could tell from her hands she was also a engineer.

That got gig's attention he went from trying not to laugh, to shocked in a heart beat. Some of the tech of this place was with par or above some shirna tech. But this man around gig's age or younger, he made all of this? This guy had gig's full attention now, gig would lean back slightly in the chair with his elbows on the arm of the chair he would put his hands together and lock his fingers. "....so your the head engineer? ... i dont mean to sound like im doubting you, but...alot of the tech in this place is amazing bare minimum on par with shinra tech. Point of my allegations is...why hire us? and what for?" Giglamesh stared at him very intensely studying him and everything he did.

Phil would turrn his right palm straight up and press a what could be a button on a weird bead on the center of his palm and he would begin typing, he would give a odd look to river to get her attention, he knew she would enjoy this. "Ah good questions, i see you still dont trust me and with good reason...thats why i know i can rely on you first of all. Now....question one: comes down to this....meet ADAM." A holographic keyboard would appear and phil began typing very fast, then from the center of table a larger bead like the one in his palm, would send light upwards. Then formed ...gig and river would be slightly confused on what it was but it was a generator. in the center of the hologram a crystal, around it multiple rings spun seeming to flaot around the crystal. Under it a base with multiple large cables running outwards. "ADAM is a self sustaining generator, of my own creation....the essence of Why i hired you, is for this very reason, it break down to i need you to protect adam." Phil had a very sincere look on his face as he would not move his eyes away from giglamesh.

Giglamesh sat up very quickly surprised, he nearly jumped to his feet in surprise. "Self sustaining...like as in perpetual energy!?" To which phil would just give him and nod, agreeing to his question. Gig leaned back again touching the right side of his forehead with his right hand. He would then rub his hand back threw hair pushing back his hat, gig was completely amazed by this.

Phil still contently looking at giglamesh. "One of the projects in which you worked on, as did i within shinra....i have made complete." Phil would hold his right hand out and a folder would seem to be digitally constructed from nothing, once it was complete he would slide it across table to gig. "Mr Grimm, i know more about you probably then your dear sister. Like you i was a member in Excel Applied Sciences...i knew the Professor some what well. However where as you simply turned your back, i stepped down and walked away....I no ways does this mean im still with them or have any connection to them. Because of your past with Excel, your animosity for shinra, and you and your sister irrefutable battle prowess.....you two are the perfect people for this job. While indirectly....your job will result in keeping infinite energy generators out of Shinra's hands."

Giglamesh began to skim threw the profile that phil handed him. Gig would notice that it was a manifesto of what phil knew about gig. A few things were widely know, such as his defection, and his combat nature. But there was the less widely known details of some of the projects that gig had worked on, helped with. But then there were a few details gig didnt even know about, such as the splicing project that professor excel had for several members of high ranking shinra member such as Kyoji and himself. Gig would close the file quickly, hard almost as if he was mad, gig didnt even know much about that project. "...You left shinra of your own will you said....then how do you still know stuff like this, why didnt they wipe your mind!?" Giglamesh would glare at phil with a intense intimidating glare.

Phil would close his eyes he couldnt look at gig with that look on his else fear would take over. "Well to sum it up...they did. When they tried to wipe my memories ...i was ready and put a double layer in place. Naturally Excel saw threw it...but ....he liked some of the ideas i had came up with....so he decided to let his project free, to see what it could do, to see how far it would reach....much like somebody else?" Phil stayed very calm and diginified, even with dealing directly with gig.

Gig lost that battle and he would just sink his head, it was true just like with phil professor excel let gig slip away many times just to let his experiment grown on is own. Gig knew that feeling that phil had, it was like a feeling of defeat. "...S....sorry..."

Phil would open his beautiful golden eyes and give a smirk. "Now let us continue...im sure your sister is very confused on what were talking about, and if we continue im sure she will have even more questions for you." A small smile and wink aimed at river. While it may of not been combat, riiver would of just seen somebody actually keep on ground with gig, in fact he was even able to quick witedly outmatch gig in conversation. If he was half as much as a fighter or lover as he was a talker, gig may have met his match.

River gagged and almost puked her food when she was punched. She leaned over and recovered slowly, trying to hide her nausea. She listened carefully as she regained control over her urge to upchuck. She then shot Gig a look of revenge but before she could plot, she heard Phil say he was the head engineer of the park. She blushed lightly at the wink as images of the park flashed in her head. This guy was responsible for those designs??? She thought as she hid the fangirl scream wanting to come out. She listened closely and had thousands of questions that washed away the moment she heard about ADAM. It took every ounce of control to keep quiet as she listened. She glanced at Gig when she heard a brief mention of Gig’s past, curious to learn more. Gig reacted with anger which did not surprise River; though… when Gig said he was sorry. River blinked twice not sure she heard correctly. “I think I am in love…” she gushed, then realized it was said aloud so she quickly blurted, “With your designs… I mean I checked out a lot of the park and I could not look away from everything! Honestly I want to spend hours here just looking at everything. It’s just …uh… well… everything is just awesome… and such… uh… ya…” she looked away as her rambling went on a stupid drift. Of course the moment she meets a cool engineer to idolize, she would act like a fool. First the strawberry... now this. She inwardly kicked herself with the thought of kill me now…

Phil would glance at river when she made the love comment, in confusion. But when she forced more, out the confusion went away...the confusion that she tried changing the subject, and once her ramble was finished. "Perhaps i can give you a digital copy of the mechanics and engineers technical tour, just telling them and showing the different things they would be working on. Or perhaps even a personal tour..but that would take a extremely long time, possible days.... Every platform has a maintenance deck above and below what you see. Why there is such a large gap between the floors...that and equilibrium. Actually i know...gig you may be interested in this as well, how about i show you guys Adam once this whole ...mess is resolved." Phil would press a few buttons on a hologram of a key board, then the lights would begin to dim slightly. A video would then project as a hologram from the center of the table, the dimmed lights made it easier to focus on the hologram and not what was behind it. "Three days ago...this happened."

The video would start, it was surveillance video from a camera that was preety high up and was aimed at the entrance area, before where people showed there tickets to employees. Several people were walking up to the gate to give there tickets, seemed fairly normal. Till multiple started to spread out away from something, a few ran in direction away from it. There was no sound do to how far the camera was away. As it got closer it seemed like everybody was frantically trying to get away from a single man at the center of the gap.

Gig would stop leaning back and sit forward in his chair looking at the video more intently now. Then gig would speak very lowly to himself, yet aloud. "...hes dead..."

There didnt seem to be much wrong with the man besides a odd limp, do to the great distance it was not great quality either. But upon very close analysis one could notice he limped cause he was walking on the side of right ankle, yet he showed no signs of pain. As he got closer to the gates two guards hurried over to him which the man held out and pointed with his right arm, saying something to them. Before finally collapsing several moments later. The guards waved for more, then the video cut out and lights returned.

Phil weaved his hand together crossing his fingers. ".... The report on the unknown man by the guards said he told them that "The army of the dead, shall engulf the army of the living, then take there men and take there spears in to there own." ...before he collapsed...dead. My medical team then ran analysis, and multiple screens on him. He was clean, no magic distortion, no mind reverberations....he was under his own control, then only thing odd that came up was his broken right ankle and....as gig said, which im curious to know how....is that the mans time of death was unanimously set at more then a week before this incident happened." Phil was somewhat shocked that gig said what he did, before he had said anything curious on to how he knew.

Gig still didnt say anything, and he wasnt surprised either, he just sat there sitting waiting for phil to give more details.

"Uhh...right." Phil said before he brought up a map on the holoscrene. "Out side the golden saucer is the mountain range that comes directly between the Shinra HQ capitol, and the gold saucer. However there is a path straight threw the mountains, its is very dangerous mostly do to the extreme cold even durring the summer. but with rock falls and temperature it is very seldom traveled because on top of those its widely spread that the narrow passage is cursed. So if there is a army of dead in there then...."

Giglamesh would pretty much interrupt. "Then shinra could force you in to contracting them as a defense force for patrons of the gold saucer, and once under contract they can legally take what info they need and in turn retrieve blueprint on anything harbored in the gold saucer, including your power source ADAM.....i see...but why hire us? Just two people?"

Phil was rather surprised, he knew gig dealt with shinra alot, but he didnt think he new legal actions they could invoke when they needed to. "Uhh...well yes. But why you two? Mostly because of giglamesh's background, combat ability and general dislike of shinra. Many have all of those, but what they lack is what you know on the inside about some of the working of shinra as you have just demonstrated. Simply put...i dont know what in there...but the entire passage tight. So why send a army single file, which a one or two individuals can use those same surroundings to there advantage against a possible army....In a tight coirridor, numbers means nothing."

Gigalmesh also spoke it at the same time phil did. "In a tight corridor, number means nothing. ...You dont seem to be gambling type...to smart for that, so im guessing you also have a constagency plan?"

Phil kind of sat back leaning back in the chair hands still weaved together. "...Of course... But while it seems like a lack faith in you...from speaking with you i don't, i simply need a "just incase" you are unsuccessful, but i do not think you will be, nor do i want you to be." Phil would move on of his bangs away from his face as he spoke, showing great scensarity in what he said.

Giglamesh would get a slight grin on his face and nod his head to phil. "...Well...looks like we have cause to kill for today river, not just coin." Giglamesh would stand and nod somewhat bow to phil and walk around the table starting to leave the room. but at the door he stopped. "...It was the ankle....nothing living can walk like that without showing any signs of pain, unless it didnt feel pain...." Then gig would head out moving his head as if telling river lets go. He was talking about the man thats how he knew he was dead before he knew he was dead.

After gig said that and left the room, phil shook his head with a smile. "heh...even sharper then his swords..." He spoke to himself, even if river was still in the room.

River was glad her embarrassing ramble had been ignored and she nearly squeaked and happiness when the he offered the possibility of the tour and information but she managed to keep her cool. She wanted to see it all so the matter what the challenge she damn sure they're accepting this job. She glanced at the monitor watching the video and she had to squint trying to make out certain things. River raised an eyebrow glancing at Gig he said the guy was dead. ”What? More undead?” she asked just as Phil continued talking so her comment was ignored. Frowning River crossed her arms and sat back annoyed with the fact the two left her out of their talk. In her irritation she tuned out the conversation, and did not notice what was going on. She figured Gig would tell her the plan when they left. When gig stood and started to leave, she quickly got up with a sigh and left not hearing Phil’s mumble. She then chased after Giglamesh and all of her questions came out in a rush. "First off… While I get you do not tell me everything about your past and you're not proud of some stuff you did or whatever, I'm starting to get sick of all the secrets. In case you haven't noticed I am almost an adult here. Second… Before you interrupt me, I'm not asking about all your secrets, I would just like to point out that I can listen. You know you can talk about whatever happened and it's not like a horrible thing. I mean I kinda need to know about our enemies.. So keeping secrets from me is actually making the job harder. Last… Oh my gosh! All of those designs were made by him? Ahhh!!! This is better than meeting a movie star! That chair, that computer, just all of it like the designs and like everything he did had awesomeness just pure Awesomeness!!!” She gushed unable to contain her fandom. She was practically skipping as she walk alongside Gig. ”Think we can really get some of the blueprints and whatnot? I mean making some of these things would be just freaking awesome!” she said wistfully and she skipped ahead excited about their task well more the reward after they finished their task.

Giglamesh knew the questions would come so he was walking making use of his long legs taking long strides.Yet still she was there along side, with questions, and talking, all that stuff. He listened and said nothing did nothing, just kept walking. He was some what happy she shifted her attentions to all the tech that was witnessed. They made it a good way threw the restaurant zone before gig final spoke to her. ".....You have just been thinking to much in to this for far to long... its not that im ashamed of my past, its not that i cant tell you to keep you safe, and honestly i know you would listen to me if i spoke.. i trust you with my back and my secrets. But it all simply comes down to...i dont want to talk about it...thats it....no emotion behind it nothing, just simply have any desire to speak about it. .... remember this when dealing with that stupid boy of yours, most men would rather listen then speak its a sign of wisdom....so dont scare him off by asking his life story. They would nearly make it back to the central hub, gig was kind of nervous because...well he did have something to say he didnt want to seem...well like river gushing on about all of it. "Yeah....well....i....i would not mind seeing this ADAM generator for myself." Its true gig was nearly blushing just speaking about his desire to see the tech, in fact gig may of been just as amazed by the advancements in technology as river, he just hid its great deal better cause most he had seen before. But the literal idea of that generator he worked on a few number of times, so to see it actually up and running had gig... excited.

River rolled her eyes as she scoffed, then said; ”I know more about Eugenius than he knows about me. He actually likes talking about his past, future and plans for his life. Everybody is different. It is about choice. You are choosing not to talk about your past. Whatever, I chose not to talk about mine when Guiness asked. Can’t blame gender, or whatever, blame choice. Part of growing up Bro.” She then smiled as she inwardly gloated, returning a speech Gig had given her years back; something along the lines of bla, bla, bla choices have consequences, bla, bla, bla. Okkkk so I am paraphrasing… She thought with a shrug. She did not notice his play it cool attitude about ADAM, she saw the excitement and she grinned saying, "It will be awesome! So let's hurry up, and get this done. I want to oogle at the tech!" she then skipped ahead before she paused asking, ”So anyway, with that done, where are we going? And is this going to be another zombie thing? Cause it took days to get rid of that smell… Just saying.” She was making sure she was on the same page as Gig was. Since she only half listened earlier.

So this was the feeling of somebody naggin at you, thinking or sharing that what thy know with you when your not listening. Which was exactly what gig was doing not a word stayed in just all went right out the other ear. Giglamesh would just keep walking in to the elevator corridor, then straight to the elevator to the lobby. A few people would get on the elevator as would gig and river, gig still didnt say a word till it begin heading down. "... You know better then that undead aint the same as a walker.... we used to get alot of those so i know you know the difference. Phil said it spoke and didnt go for flesh so probably a soul bind to a fresh corpse or maybe a possession....i cant be sure......Soon enough the questions will be answered.... The army started this with a threat... phil's is answering back...we are that answer, violence." The elevator would open and gig would head out quickly in to the elevator corridor then out on to the large walkway that spanned the amusement park. Below foot giglamesh would hear the cheerful scream of children, enjoy every moment. But Those screams would turn to horror as gig could practically hear the sound of children scream, mothers and father crying over the slaughtered family, blood splashing against any and every surface, the sounds of blade slashing threw bodies, spears impaling bodies high in the air, axes cleaving threw torso's. The dead had no remorse for the living and if they got to the gold saucer they wouldnt rest till every man woman and child was torn end to end and horrifically slaughtered jsut to increase there own numbers, ever growing. Giglamesh didnt anticipate this feeling simply from hearing the noise of life, he would clench his fist very tightly, it was a joke before about the coin, but this was a cause, not just to keep adam out of the hands of shinra but to save the people of the resort.

Giglamesh was walking very fast making use of his long legs with fast strides, in a seemingly short time he made it over the bridge, and walked out of the ticket collection as mascots waved goodbye, he couldnt elp but picture the mascots heads impaled on pikes...porbably cause of the possibly undead slaughter, had nothing to do with them being annoying. Gig preety much cutn infront of some people at a car/container scanner, do the anger on his face not to mention size the mumbled to themselves and walked away. Giglamesh impatiently waited for the container to ship around to them he was impatient and ready to end the armies unlife. Finally it would come up out of the ground infront of gig, and he would go inside, nearly removing clothes as he entered. Giglamesh wasted no time and started to suit up, in to his new outfit he got just for the cold weather of this mission.

Looking at the park as they passed, River noticed Gig was quiet, but she figured he was focused on the upcoming fight. When Gig finally spoke, River had been looking out the window of the elevator. After Gig spoke River glanced at him, then looked back out the window; trying hard to pick some words. Scoffing River shrugged, anything she says would be ignored, so no point. They all smelled the same still… she thought. She kept her words to herself, wondering about the mission they accepted. Once she could, she changed back into her warmer clothes and loaded up on her weapons. ”How long will it take to get there?” She asked as she adjusted the strap on her Helheim.

Giglamesh stepped around from the other side of the locker, and he was wearing a fairly tight black leather body suit. The boots and bracers were more heavily padded with multiple belts around the forearms and shins, several belts around the waist, and single belt around each thigh and upper arm. There was a fairly thick padding that came up around the neck, where he would lean forward and conceal his face in the padding for warmth. Giglamesh was securing the sheath of Akai Bara to his right thigh, and Aoi yuri to his left as he came around the lockers, not quite finished dressing. "... To be completely honest.. i aint sure. We will drive our bikes to the opening of the mountain passage, but then leave them there.... before you ask why not drive them in, it will be too dangerous with the icy terrain and what ever else is in there.... but as for how long it is within to find this...army...or even the other side....im not sure."

Gig was just kind of leaning against the lockers securing Akai bara to his right thigh while speaking. He would then walk back to the other side and continue getting dressed, he would then look threw his weapons picking which to take. "Oi!...dont take everything easy, we might have to walk some distance so travel somewhat light and make sure you dress warm." giglamesh said as he secured Hydra to his lower back. He looked threw the others, and finally grabbed the magic weapons and there individual sheaths securing them to the belt on his chest. Finally gig would attach multiple clips for akai and aoi around his shins. He was ready now it was the time for the last part, giglamesh grabbed his coat. It was a hlalf blue and black parka. Down the center of the back it had a white lightning bolt that came around the chest, it was what seperated the blue half from the black half. It had a huge hood the edge rimmed in fur, the sleeves were short only enough to cover the upper arms, the coat was long enough to cover the thighs.

Gig would put on the coat buttoning and zipping it up all the way, it would conceal his face up to his nose, where he would then put on come cool looking chrome goggles, before finally pulling the hood up. The hood was so large it for the most part concealed his remaining face in shadows, only light reflecting off his goggles would shine out form the shadows that concealed his face. Giglamesh would strattle his bike but didnt start it yet. "Ready to roll?" gig would ask, somewhat muffled from the coat, as he would then start his bike. Once river was ready giglamesh would walk backwards pushing the bike out of the container, then once river did as well giglamesh would press a few things on the consul to close the container and send it back to storage. With that giglamesh would take a wide turn and begin to speed off, racing past other people that were entering and exiting, heading for the mountain valley.

River was wearing her bunny jacket, made from different wolf fur; white as snow on the outside, and soft and warm on the inside. She had on a long sleeved tee-shirt with a tank top underneath, and snowboarder pants… with a matching skirt over it; adding her wolf fur boots and silk like scarf; River was currently looking for her purple goggles in her duffel bag as Gig spoke. Walking? She thought, refraining from whining, she quickly reminded herself about the tech tour, so she gritted her teeth and sighed. She found her goggles and slid them around her neck, for now; when Gig made a comment about not taking everything. She paused then said; “…I am dressed warm.” And she took off Helheim’s case. She could summon Soul Thief if needed, though she made a mental note of learning to summon Helheim sometime. Double checking she had her potions case, she then zipped her coat closing the lockers with her spare clothes, and Helheim. She took her grenades some ammo; Gunblades, and her nade chain. Only Helheim would be tough to carry after a trek on the mountain. Heading to her hybrid bike, she put on her goggles and gave Gig the thumbs up as she followed, pushing the bike along. Starting her bike, River followed after him; making quick turns, as she rushed past the people. Once she exited the park, she cranked the speed and kept track of Gig up ahead.

Giglamesh raced infront of her gig enjoyed the thrill of traveling at break neck speeds, it was the danger the risk that always got his blood pumping. Yet because of this gig tended to leave river behind in the dust. Her bike was preety fast, but it was closer to a four wheeler made to be used on the streets. Where as gig had a rocket with some wheels, not very maneuverable but such a great amount of power with two inline six engines. After giglamesh got a considerable distance behind river, he would eventually double back around behind her, catch up, and stay preety much at pace with her. It would take some time to get to the canyon opening, part of the reason why giglamesh was willingly playing around trying to get the blood pumping for what ever was waiting withing that canyon.

With a hour or so of travel, giglamesh along side river would make it to the canyon opening. It was around fourty maybe fifty meters wide. But it was fairly intimidating a fierce wind was howling out constantly bombarding them from within the canyon. Because of the constant wind snow could not settle within the canyon unless behind something stationary. At the mouth of the canyon the wind was the worse even if gig was to yell it would be hard for river to yell so gig wouldnt bother. Giglamesh would signal river to park the bike, and head in. As gig said that he opened the compartment on his bike and grabbed ichigeki and he would attach its holder, a diagonal shoulder strap and a metal ring which it slid in to on his back, in place. Giglamesh would kind of nuzzle his face down in to the padding of his body suit covering his mouth and nose with the coats zipped up collar. Then in giglamesh would go.

Shortly after the entrance the wind would of died down some as they seemed to be walking in a downward slant the stronger wind higher above them. But there was nothing but frozen rock walls and frozen rocks that had fallen from the frozen walls above. Though the wind died down, the temperature was also rapidly lowering. The further they got in it was like the walls of the canyon were not rock, but appeared glossy like smooth ice. Te wind continued to die down where it was not unbearable but infact not so bad anymore. despite the multiple miles they had walked in it was not dark, as if the light reflected off the smooth ice walls from far above them. The opening of the canyon was now up so high that the tops of the two canyons sides seemed to touch.

The had traveled many miles and still, there didnt seem to be anything special. Rocks, ice, ice covered rocks ...alot of the same thing over and over, yet any noise they made to loud would cause ice chunks or rocks to fall So gig obviously didnt speak, and if river was foolish enough to she would quickly see why she shouldn't. Because it was so cold at the mouth of the canyon gig didnt notice it but the temperature was increasing. Nothing amazing but not bone chillingly cold. At this point the further they got it began to get warmer, again still not hot but it increased till it was only slightly below freezing. Then finally things started to stick out weird things carved in to the ice covered canyon walls, runes perhaps. Gig would point but not say anything.

Around twelve mile hike inside the canyon they would reach the center, what they found....seemed to be a alter. Large stone base in the ground multiple pillars, all seemed to be extremely old, somehow it seemed older then the canyon itself, but how was that possible. There wernt any fallen rocks or ice, but it was also not as well lit up here, not quite dark but a environment that made for poor visibility. Gig would begin looking around and notice that on the giant stone slab in the ground there was thing carved within, almost like a giant crest that gig couldnt make out because it was so big and he was atop it, The pillars had some ice developed on them but not much. There were multiple mounds all around, but gig did not check those mounds out something else caught his eye. This...alter was very disturbing it was very easy to loose ones bearings since four long canyons combined at this single point. Bt what caught gig's attention was not what the mounds were made of, maybe river would look at those, but the north canyon wall. There was a .....throne, a throne literally carved beautifully from ice, and adorned with metal settings and even what looked like at one time a cushion, time had worn it down to nothing. In this throne sat a large skeleton in armor. The right arm still grasping a huge mace had fallen off and away from the skeleton in the throne. But with all of that gig had his eyes set on something else, a large urn literally setting above and behind the throne, a spot carved out of the wall for it. There...was something about it, it was like....looking at fire, something so destructive it was beautiful, thats the feeling gig got. But...why a jar? What the hell was it, and why would it give him a feeling like that, what was this alter why was it here, when did it get here? So many questions, not enough time.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 13, 2013 3:04 pm

River would never trade her bike for anything; with a simple press of a button it became more maneuverable and prefect for street travel. It was her freedom. She loved feeling the wind whip around her as she sped through the land. Because she had an hour or so of travel, there was lots of time on her hands; and the whipping wind would drown any music. So River thought about her future, what she wanted to do and how she could start doing steps towards the life she wants. And while she was feeling useless the other day, feeling weak, she realized she was strong. Because she did everything in her power and that was enough. She may get scared, but she damn well tries her best. With a smile on her face, she was determined to try to remember that.

The wind got stronger as they got closer to the canyon, once Gig parked he used and signals, and River nodded parking her bike. Shivering a moment, she adjusted to the sharp wind and tightened her hood and grabbed a scarf hidden under her seat. She liked warmer weather, so grumbling to herself, she followed Gig. The wind lessened, but it was still bitter cold as they walked past the frozen scenery. It seemed like they had walked for quite a long time, when Gig pointed to some of the scenery. River tightened her scarf and nodded, but she was more interested in finishing the job and getting back.

Once they reached the alter, River was curious. She looked around, crouching to look at the deep carving she spotted mounds of bones. Peering close at it she took a step back. Are those human? She thought unsure if she should be fascinated, or horrified. She wanted to know what this place was, but deep down; she was sure she probably did not want to know. Glancing at Gig, she kept him close, in case her warning bells were right, and something was going to happen. She also took out her gunblades and looked around some more. The place seemed dark, and ancient.

"....I dont like this...." Giglamesh would say to himself, as he continued to look at that jar. but suddenly a sound that was like rock moving. At nearly in that same instant giglamesh drew out both Akai bara and Aoi yuri, turning 180 degrees, pointing them past either side of rivers head toward the center of the large platform. After a few second gig relised river's head had a gun on either side of it so he lifted Aoi in his left hand and began walking to the center of the large stone platform. giglamesh was keeping both guns ready focused on the center of that platform, he knew he heard something. Slowly creeping closer he continued to point the gun, but when he got there nothing.

He stood the for a moment looking around, saw, heard of felt nothing. As river would follow behind or what ever she was doing, though suddenly the center of the platform glowed blue. As gig would try to look closer the blue light rapidly spread threw the platform much like runes. But before gig and river could even try to escape the edges of the platform shot up with a blue energy cutting off there escape. But even worse it was as if the canyon they were in....was no longer there. As if the platform was transported elsewhere, beyond the blue energy was nothing but black, even the sky, yet some how the platform was still lit up as before. The sound of bones rumbling and clanking together could be heard and many bones from the bone piles would begin to...just levitate, floating in the air around different parts of the platform.

A deep booming voice would come from everywhere. "Soooo More have arrived to join the Undead legion, Very good...let us... properly introduce you then." A huge blast of energy would shoot up from the center of the platform and begin to move around the pillars. Then a large creature made of a bluish energy would grab on to a pillar in its passing. Its hand looked like bone with flesh, but only to its forearm, past that was nothing but a tattered cloth and hood that completely hid its face. Features could be made on on this...creature, yet it still seemed to be made of transparent blue energy. It would lash its arms out to its sides and give a battle cry of sorts. suddenly as it did, some of the floating bones would form together in to entire skeletons, some full skeletons would crawl out from the bones piles, some would form around different weapons sticking out of/ or laying on the ground. Even after many skeletons formed, some bones would still just levitate floating around, most spinning as they floated in the air, as if not affected by gravity. As the skeletons would form it was obvious want they wanted, to claim the lives of the living and make them in to skeleton comrades.

Despite everything that was going on, once the transparent energy creature formed gig vision was fixated on it. So many thoughts went threw his mind, he had no idea what it was and if river looked close enough gig may of very well been...shaking as he pointed his guns at it.

River looked around carefully as Gig muttered. Something was wrong. Something foul was in the air. She watched Gig walk slowly to the platform, and realized she should stick close. For his sake of course. She thought as she followed, slowly behind him. When the blue energy surrounded them, River held her breath watching the bones come to life. Necromancer? She thought exhaling slowly trying to shake any fear. She jumped though when the voice boomed around them. And she was startled by the burst of blue; when the phantom like creature came forth, River was fascinated. The bones started fusing together, forming a shell of its former self. River somehow found herself closer to Gig. She was nervous, but she also wanted to show she was useful. She noticed his hand shook as he held his guns and inwardly swore. This does not bode well… She thought. ”These seem a bit scrawny. No challenge eh?” She joked as she used her gunblade to knock away, and break apart a skeletal frame of a squirrel floating near. ”Maybe you can give them all a cremation or something.” She suggested softly. She was still scared of fire, but she refused to let Gig know about that. She did not want to be a burden.

Giglamesh would position himself against river's back when they became surrounded by the skeletons. He didnt respond to the what she said about no challenge, his eyes still focused on the apparition. For the moment the circle of bones around them increased there numbers, but they did not start attacking yet. He wanted to try to give her some comfort to ease the fight. "There bones no matter my effort then wont be destroyed completely by fire...and the threat is no the skeletons themselves... but im sure there overwhelming and replenishing numbers. See the bone piles....this many skeletons...yet the piles of bones are still rather large, im willing to bet we destroy one, another will replace it. So..... watch your ammo, and just unload." Giglamesh would position akai bara and aoi yuri opposite each other putting there slides against each other with force. Then moving each to oppsite side he would c**k both slides at the same time., then rapidly point the guns out and moving them from straight out to sides to straight out from shoulder sweeping waiting for the skeletons to move, but while they creaked and made haunting noises they were yet to act. Some even attempt threats with the ancient weapons. This didnt seem to difficult if there ammo would last atleast, but gig had a feeling this was not all this army had to offer. That floating blue apparition itself seemed to shake gig's nerves.
