Oh how I'd hate to be in the shoes of Marc Pincus right now. Zynga came onto the markets last year at around $15 a share and now look at what that stock is worth today. It seems like only Gravity, the guys behind Ragnarok, and Konami are doing any good today. The online gaming industry is falling short if even Activision isn't making money but at least they and EA aren't getting into the dollar stock range. Heck, you look over at the Nikkei and even Nexon isn't doing too good. The online and mobile game bubble might be coming to a head here. Good thing I don't own any of that stuff.

The Anon has struck again, but this time is is related to the Halloween event. Several of us have gotten Anon gifts telling us to prepare for the end. The Anon sends out Halloween treats from Rina's shop. I suspect one, or several, of our guild leaders are behind this. Barton will not fall!!!!!!!

So... I'm a horrible artist. x.x;
Rant:
Someone who really liked my art commissioned me in August, RIGHT before RO started. I didn't think I was going to get THAT/this involved in RO.. so I thought it'd be nothing. She commissioned 12-13 pieces from me though.. and I've only done 1 since then. And now, in October, since things have gotten busy for me and other things have become priority (like my role as VC in this guild), and other IRL stuff.. I just sent her a PM saying that I want to cancel our agreement. And I'll only draw one more piece for her-- and it'd be free.. she's been canceled by many other artists too.. cause she's always asking 12-13 characters done. And I know she has a difficult irl life as well.
/rant.

Is it silly that I'm already thinking of ideas for the Xmas event and Xmas season here in the guild? I know it's way far out from the time frame to start planning things and we haven't even had the Halloween event but what I have in mind is something fairly easy and fun to do but will test a person's dedication because it's an activity that requires people to change their avatars daily for twenty-five days. Another guild I'm in had done this for the last few years during December and it's a fun way to get people's creativity flowing and get them active in the guild.

It really is the easiest little activity the guild can do om December. Because really all it entails is a single thread to keep track of all the avatars people who take part make each day and setting a time of night to consider it the next day. It can be a really fun challenge for the guild and for the event thread if we extended it to that. In the other guild I'm in there have been some pretty creative avatars that come out of it and when the event and caroling items show up it's a great way to use them in the avatars.

I don't have much of an imagination. xd I didn't know it was Thanksgiving food, I would've guessed Halloween. But look at the special at one of the stores here.
