PRINCE MARKUS AND PRINCESS MEREDY "No, I'm totally free for today aside from showing Meredy around the school and its grounds." Meredy looked up. "I do not mind accompanying you" she replied, her voice expressing cadence once again. Markus raised an eyebrow. What's with her? One minute she's like a robot the next an average girl and the other... To Markus, Meredy Ashford was turning out to be a rather interesting person. It was then that Markus noticed a strange ring on Meredy's right hand. For some reason he felt an attractive energy emanating from the ring. She appeared to notice his stare and hid the ring behind her napkin as she patted her lips. "Where is the disposal?" Markus pointed her in the right direction and she walked away.

Do not ask the price I paid, I must live with my quiet rage Tame the ghosts in my head that run wild and wish me dead "I'll hang with you, if you don't mind," Tom offered, chucking his empty plates in the washing bin. "And if you do mind, I'll bugger off. Although actually, Markus, you and I should probably hit the lit classroom at some point. Monsieur's got our essays to hand back, right?"Tom's mood swung again as he snickered, showing joy for the first time since scaring his roommate half to death a few hours ago. He'd written his essay in rhyming Lurkertongue glyphs, a dare aimed at Monsieur's linguistic skills. "Wonder if I passed." The glee he felt now might be short-lived, but he'd ride the high as long as it lasted. A thought occurred to him. If he hadn't passed, maybe he'd get to stay in school indefinitely and postpone his marriage that way. That could be a plan. "Anyway. Merry, whatcha taking this year?" he called over his shoulder to Meredy. "I know all the shortcuts to keep your skirts out of the mud when it rains. Unless you've got Riding, then you're outta luck."Should you shake my ash to the wind, forget all of my sins Just let me die where I lie 'neath the curse of my lover's eyes

PRINCE MARKUS AND PRINCESS MEREDY "I will be taking Etiquette, History, Literature, and Law" replied Meredy. "Hey that's almost identical to my....schedule" Markus gave Meredy a long look. "My father arranged my schedule" she replied innocently. "You know I think we should go pick up our papers. Let's go!" Markus jumped out of his seat and put his hands in his pockets looking like he was about to bolt.

Do not ask the price I paid, I must live with my quiet rage Tame the ghosts in my head that run wild and wish me dead Tom pursed his lips. King's sake, if Viola follows me around too I'm gonna... He pushed that thought out of his mind. "Sounds like fun," he said, giving a noncommittal shrug. "Shall we?" He nudged Chris's arm. "Wanna come, man? Probably better than whatever else is gonna happen here until the banquet starts."He walked quickly to the door, not sure if Markus actually wanted to lose Meredy or not. "Lit class is this way," he called, not indicating any direction at all. PRINCE MARKUS AND PRINCESS MEREDY Meredy grabbed Markus' arm before he could take a step. She's good he thought as he followed Tom. It was going to be fun to try and match the lurker's pace while dragging Meredy along. They set off at a brisk pace but Markus had trouble not stepping on Meredy's dress. [Exit to Lit]

Princess Galaxy Scherenchella Galaxy smiled. "Hi, I'm Princess Galaxy, of Timbolia. And no, I do not mind one bit." Galaxy started to have her worries about Haidee drift away as she began to drink some of her soy milk. This girl was older than Galaxy, but Galaxy hoped they could be friends anyway.

Princess Galaxy Scherenchella "Timbolia is a different planet, hence why you've probably haven't heard of it." Galaxy said, noticing the confusion on Aurelie's face. "Yes, it's my first year. I came here by myself. Plesure to meet you, Princess Aurelie." Galaxy finished off her soy milk and started eating her apple.

Aurelie stopped mid motion, forkful of salad still midway to her mouth at the mention of a whole new planet. "The pleasure is all mine, Princess of Timbolia. Crossing the void of space is an impressive feat!" The Spellweaver was genuinely impressed. Although her people were aware of the existence of other planets, they had barely set foot outside of their lands let alone reach space.
"What sort of magic did you employ to travel to our humble planet? It must have been tiring to harness enough energy for such a long trip. Or was it by means of science? You will have to forgive me as I am not well versed in the study of physics let alone astrophysics." Before long Aurelie found herself babbling away excitedly and slowly forgetting their ranks, but the extraterrestrial princess had not seemed to mind her previous slip so she continued on.

We all make choices in life NurseSister Eleanor walked into the hall, looking around. She didn't know why, it wasn't as though she expected to see anyone she knew. And, sure enough, no familiar faces were in the hall. Hm. Such the better to get in and out, she supposed. Eleanor picked up a plate and looked over the spread of food laid out for them to choose from. She filled her plate with some lettuce for a salad and picked up a blueberry scone as well. She hesitated before adding a cookie to her plate. Sweets were her weakness. With that done, she chose a spot near the end of an empty table to sit and eat. But in the end, our choices make us.

It was still too early within their budding friendship for her to spill out such harsh words. She had a feeling though it wouldn't be long before the two were at each other's throats with friendly fire, and when he mentioned how they would find out who the better rider was she perked up instantly. "Ya know, I've never asked. And I've been here for three years!" The princess said, her face erupting into a smile as she laughed. Everything about her seemed to glow as she did - her smile was often compared among the men (and women) at home to the brightness and warmth of the sun. Seeing as how they were done with their meal, and that no announcements were being made yet, Levy figured it would be a good idea to get up and move around now. "Mm, that was delicious... I could really go to stretch my legs now though... How 'bout you?" she said standing up and gathering her empty dishes, leaving little for Vincent to do other than follow her lead.

Somewhere along the line, Izromos had gotten lost to the dinning hall. He'd stopped to inspect things along the way and clearly had lost track of time. Or maybe it was that time lost track of him, it did seem to move by faster in this world than his own. Now it was nearing noon and his stomach was telling him it needed food. Standing in the doorway of the dining hall, he looked in with curiosity. The smells that overwhelmed him were so... Strange. Some of it he could smell as human food, the kind they ate in the Capital. Though, a lot of it was foreign to him. He could smell the scent of fish, bread, and a few other things. Instead of continuing to stand there, he walked into the room. Despite the fact that he felt vulnerable, he kept his back straight and his head high. He noticed a few students and saw Sister Eleanor from yesterday eating some leafy food. Glancing around, he spotted where the smells had been coming from. Walking over to the table it sat on, he was perplexed by the many dishes. There was some white mushy stuff, some red liquid that smelled vaguely of tomatoes, the leafy food that the Sister had been eating and many other things. Not trusting any of it, Izromos reached his hand over to what appeared to be a bread basket. He also spotted some fruit, one he could identify as being as apple. Grabbing one, he turned around to face the room once more. It was a rather large room to sit and eat, but then again this was an educational establishment, fit to serve hundreds of students. With quick movements, he made his way to the closest table and sat down. Placing his food on the surface, he bowed his head as he prayed to the goddess for the meal she had given him. Then, lifting his head back up, he broke his bread and began to eat. Schedule Day Shift Night Shift Lunch Dinner

We all make choices in life NurseSister Eleanor heard the doorbell to the infirmary ring in her head. Someone needed her back at the infirmary. Another injured student? She hadn't been gone an hour from treating Haidee and Maeza! She sighed, setting down her cookie. So much for that idea...After making a mad dash to the mess tray to deposit her dirty plates, she vanished from the dining hall with a small pop and a puff of purple smoke. [Exit to Infirmary] But in the end, our choices make us.

╔══════════════╗ Vincent Milano Ⅱ ιʟ ᴅucᴀ ᴅι ᴛᴏscᴀɴᴀ ╚══════════════╝ Vincent felt his breath leave him when she smiled, a peculiar warmth filling his chest. 'She's stunning,' he thought instantly, having no other words to describe it. Just then, she started talking about going for a walk and began picking up the soiled dishes, leaving Vincent to do nothing more than follow her like a lost puppy. He was impressed by how willing she was to do any sort of clean-up, as most royals would leave it for someone else by default. She was definitely something special. Smiling lightly, he tilted his head as he began to follow her out. "A walk sounds nice... It's getting too stuffy in here, anyway." And he meant it - before he knew it, the room had begun to fill up with all sorts of people, and too many for the boy's liking, at that. He was used to quiet and solitude, and really had a distaste for crowds.
