Gannon gave the Reyvateil a smile and a nod. "You can count on it. I'm in this for the long haul." With that, Gannon took a few steps forward onto the alter.

Hikari returned him a nervous smile. "I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm going, okay? I'll see you when you come back. I'll be waiting." She took a step forward and disappeared into the light.
"I have to admit, I'm a little surprised. But only a little. I didn't think she'd warm up to you this easily. Then again you've done a lot more for us than anyone else has even come close to. We owe a lot to you already." Hikari looked away uncomfortably. "Since we owe you a lot, the least I can do is try to protect you in the lower levels of my Cosmosphere, right?" She waved at him before fading into the light. "Well, like Hikari said, we'll be waiting." And with that, she was gone as well.~END COSMOSPHERE~

The half-ling laughed too. She had to admit, she was feeling much more cheerful now that she had put some distance between herself and Gannon as well as her sister. And she could tell why Mana was friends with Nereus. He was a very kind person. "If you want we can order another one if you have room," she joked lightly. The waitress came out with their orders of soup, tea and Funbuns. "Here you are, your orders! Enjoy~!" She sang as she walked away from the pair. Miko blew on her soup but didn't waste another second on trying the Funbuns. The buns (shaped like a duck) were soft, sweet and chewy. "Wow, just like I remembered. I haven't had these since a traveller came through Ce Palym and gave me some. It's been years..."

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~  "Hmmmm...?" Hikari's hand twitched. Then she moved a bit. Her eyelids fluttered open. "W-where...?" She was staring at a ceiling in a place she was sure she'd never been before. The last thing she remembered was flying through the air with Gannon, and so she was completely disoriented when she awoke.My Song is a Shining Light

Nereus He knew that she was joking but, he took it literally. "Yeah, I get another please." He said to the waitress as she was about to leave. He made a face that let her know that he was serious about his fudge addiction. After a while he began eating his soup as he saw her enjoying the duck shape buns. He stopped eating and said. "I guess that is your food addiction." He said while giving a small smile with his eye close. He then began to sip the tea.

  Rhaplanca   "I can sense Hikari's paradigm shift, good. That means I can pull them from the proxy dive any second now," relief was starting to show on Rhaplanca's face despite the fatigue. Just then, a peak in energy in a lower level in her soul space caught her attention, like blip on a radar. She focus on the energy, it wasn't too far down, level wise, still considered on the surface but unreachable in this reality. Her relaxed features quickly turned to horror when she familiarized the energy with the mysterious intruder.
 "Oh no! It got past Bewitching?!" she initially assumed. This Rhaplanca acted as greeter and moderator on certain surface levels, only available when prompted by the real Rhaplanca. This representation of her, the most like the real Rhaplanca, had the authority to view any events in the upper levels of the cosmosphere as a 'replay'. Immediately, she reviewed Bewitching's actions. To her sheer terror she watched as one of Rhaplanca's very own representations purposely granted a virus access to Rhaplanca's cosmosphere and inevitably the server; the tower of Ar_Tonelico! "NOOOO! HOW COULD SHE!?" despite her frenzied state, once Rhaplanca sensed Hikari and Gannon pass through Hikari's paradigm shift she pulled them from her proxy dive and performed a Boot/Shutdown to ensure that no interaction between her and her divers occurred. They were sent straight to consciousness.
 "What do I do?!" she wailed covering her face with her hands, "I messed up! I should have handled it on my own!!" She dropped to her knees, "T-this.. this is blasphemous," she knew that the real Rhaplanca must have willed this to some degree deep inside for this to occur, but the grief was apparent throughout the soul space, "I don't deserve to wake up," she wept, hunched over the floor. Her cosmosphere began to tremble, "I should destroy myself right now..." she whispered. No matter how much she wished it, the fear of ending it made her hesitate, teetering on the edge of collapsing her soul space.
----- The monitors for Rhaplanca's dive pod were sounding alarms. Zek jumped to his feet, "Oh no, not good," he responded quickly and frantically as he rushed to her pod, "Her heart rate and breathing rate sky rocketed," he read her monitors and shot a look to Hikari's and Gannon's "They're completely fine, stable," he corrected then looked back at Rhaplanca's pod. She was visible through the glass, her chest rising and falling quickly, indicating hyperventilation, "Not good..." he repeated, simpering, "There is nothing I can do, it doesn't even make sense!" he shook his head and looked at Ishira, "She's experience traumatic emotional shock and there is nothing to cause it. This isn't a normal proxy dive," he bit his lip and a low growl came from his chest, "This isn't probable." [sorry that I went a little preemptive before TJ's post back sweatdrop If it affects anything let me know and I will edit/delete :3nod]

"Hey, sleepyhead, it's time to get up," Mana chuckled. She approached Hikari's side and ruffled her hair. "You've had enough beauty sleep to last you a month!" Before she could tease her further, the monitors started going like crazy over by Rhaplanca's pod. "What the hell?! Can't you do anything!?" She shouted. "Come on, Hikari's mind nearly collapsed and we almost lost her! Rhaplanca just saved Hikari through a Proxy dive! There's no way I'm just gunna sit idly by and let her die like that!"

Ishira was off his chair and beside Zek the instant the monitors went off. As soon as the direness of the situation set in he was in Zek's face, no longer the easy-going Ishira, "What do you mean 'there's nothing you can do'!?" he swung his arm out dramatically, signaling the whole shop, "Isn't this YOUR job?!" he yelled furiously. While the shopkeeper kept yammering on about how it wasn't normal, Ishira made his way to another dive pod, "Damn it if you're any help," he growled and set a foot into a dive pod, "Put me under and dive me into her," he ordered in a very threatening way.Zek reached out to Ishira and pulled him back, "I understand your frustration but you're as good as dead if you dive into her in this state!" he argued, "It is MY job to refuse dives with dangerous conditions!" Ishira shrugged him off, "To hell with you," he said venomously, "I am her vanguard, my life is hers," he explained valiantly.

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Mana's shouting frightened Hikari and she jumped to her feet, tripping and falling on Mana. "Die? Who's going to die? Rhaplanca!? Rhaplanca!" She turned to Mana. "What happened?" She glanced over at Gannon, noticing the injuries all over him. "This... it's all my fault, isn't it!?" Tears spilled down her cheeks. "Ishira, it's my fault! I should go in there not you. She wouldn't even be in this mess if not for me!"My Song is a Shining Light

She realized what her shouting had done and quieted immediately, turning her attention to the distraught Reyvateil she'd promised to protect. "Hikari, no. You can't do anything right now. Who knows what happened in your Cosmosphere. They mentioned a virus. Face it, you're not stable enough to do any good right now. It's not your fault that this happened, either. Let Ishira handle it." She awkwardly put her arms around the girl, trying to calm her down. "Come on, Hikari. Come with me." She nodded at Ishira. "I'm taking her out of here, okay?"

 "One mistake and you're ready to tear apart your cosmosphere? You selfish brat," Rhemi accessed Rhaplanca's soul space through the Binary Field.
 "Here I sense you in the Binary Field and I thought I'd pop by and say 'hello'," she teasingly walked around Rhaplanca and squatted in front of her weeping posture and placed her head in her hand.
 "This isn't my Rhaplanca, MY Rhaplanca would give a damn about how her actions affected her loved ones," she said flatly.
"Quit being a selfish brat and grow up already," she jested childishly.
 "K?" she smiled warmly, "I'd like to see you again at least a hundred more times," she chuckled and stood.Rhaplanca "R-Rhemi?" she stammered in awe. She reached out to touch her but her hand phased through and '1's and '0's fluttered in Rhemi's form.
I'm a Binary Field representation, Rhaplanca," she frowned, "but it looks like you've calmed down now," she noted as the tremors stopped.
"There you go," she smiled. "I can't face my friends with this," she muttered, her hands dropped to her sides, defeated.
 "Now I tried real hard to reach you to thank you for singing to me, please make my effort worth while and wake up already, brat," she teased despite her complexion, "I hope to see you again, goodbye," with that, Rhemi faded with a slight smile on her face. "Wait, Rhemi!" she called out, but it was futile. "I owe it to you at the very least," she said as she remembered her mission and regained a higher sense of responsibility, "You've always shielded me from everything, but this time I was truly undeserving."

Ishira definitely did not blame anyone, but it didn't quell hi rage one bit. Still, he tried to reassure Hikari personally, "She's right," he offered with a stiff jaw, but kept his eyes soft, "This isn't your fault, or anyone's for that matter. This wasn't even a projected possibility," he spoke as if he was marketing Rhaplanca's life, the taste of it disgusted him, "Yeah go ahead," his agreement to Mana was forced and quick. He turned and looked back to the empty pod and bashed his fists into it, "Damn it!!"Rhaplanca Rhaplanca's heartbeat and breathing slowed and her levels returned to normal at a rather rapid pace. She was pulled back to consciousness and heard the seal on the glass release in her pod. She kept her head down as she exited the pod, shielding her expression and eyes from the others. She draped a leg over the side of the pod and gripped a hold of the glass to pull herself out, sitting awkwardly halfway with her other fingers digging into the side for support.
"Sorry about that," she managed to utter, being sure to hide her sickly face. Her stomach felt like it would meet the floor at any moment, "I had an unexpected problem outside of the proxy dive," she admitted that much, "It's embarrassing really. It was so minor but I got such a big scare," she laughed feebly, "I hope you weren't worried, I'm sorry if I kept you waiting."

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ She shook her head. "Why did you both save me? Why!? Rhaplanca, the world needs you here. You can't risk yourself for someone like me." She pushed Mana away. "You should have left me to die! I deserve nothing less... You don't know what I've done and you don't understand at all! This world is going to be destroyed because of me! That's why you should have let me die..." She covered her mouth and ran out of the shop. Why did they help me? I should have told them the truth! I'm the one who hurt the Goddess! I'm supposed to kill her. There's no place in this world for us! We should never have been born! She stopped just outside the shop, trying to calm herself. After a few moments she took a deep breath. "I have to tell them. Rhaplanca needs to know. She deserves that much. And Gannon... If they hate me after this, that's fine. It's still more than I deserve."My Song is a Shining Light

Ishira turned on his heels at the sound of the pod opening, "Oh thank goodness," he sighed the heaviest sigh of his life emotionally and cleared the distance between Rhaplanca and himself as she tried to climb out of the dive pod, "Of course we were worried," he said frustrated, but it didn't reflect as anger as he put his arms around her and helped her out of the pod. Initially it was more of an embrace, and even now he held her close, half of his face buried in her hair and his grip tight on her clothes. His face and ears were growing red with emotion as he held it back, "C'mon let's get you back to the inn," he said softly as he lifted her weak figure in a bridal carry.
