"Oh?" She was startled out of her daze by the young boy and she became flustered, waving her hands wildly out of embarrassment. "Oh, oh! I'm sorry, I suppose I'm just a bit out of it today. It's quite all right!" She chirped. "Um... just let me know if it's bothering you. I know all about nightmares... I'm always having them. So if you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm always willing to listen." She noticed Tsurabisu standing just outside the door watching them. "O-oh! Tsu-kun! I didn't... see you standing there. Um... that is... The nightmares aren't really that big of a deal anymore! I've gotten over them, and you can too, Haru-kun!" Hikari quickly added. "I will do my best to help you if you ever need! It's my job as part of Squad 4!" She smiled.

She didn't want Tsurabisu to know just how often she relived the day her family was slaughtered right in front of her. She knew it only made him feel responsible for not being there. How often had she stayed over night with Tsurabisu's family when she would wake up screaming from those memories? That was when she was younger, but as soon as she went into the Academy, she stopped telling Tsu about her nightmares. She didn't want him to worry about her anymore, or to feel guilty.

The lieutenant stood, clearing her throat. "Everything is ready to go on my end. We should probably go meet up with Yuu-san..." She eyed Tsurabisu worriedly and approached him. "You really look pale. Are you coming down with something, Tsu-kun?" She asked, putting a hand to his forehead.

She let her hand drop to her side at his explanation and smiled. Don't worry, I have faith in you, Tsu-kun. If you can train a klutz like me, you can teach anybody!" His childhood friend chuckled. When he told her the plan, she nodded. "Ummm... a half hour? And the Academy? All right. I will see the two of you there, then." Without another word, she used her Shunpo and left, heading on over to the 13th Division to check up on Yuu, who was the other lieutenant that was going to supervise. She waited patiently outside the Division doors, not wanting to disturb anyone. If it got to be too late, then she would enter looking for Yuu. But she expected that he would be prompt. He normally was, after all.

"Alright. Let's go." With that, Tsurabisu turned and left the infirmary, not waiting to see if Haru was following. "Since we have time, we'll walk. No Flash Step. I trust Instructor Saotome went over the laws of the Soul Society. But the question is, were you paying attention? Now that you know your Zanpakuto's name, you do not have permission to release your Shikai unless during training under a seated officer's watch, or if we're on a mission. If you're caught releasing your sword inside the Seireitei, you'll be in more trouble then you were in. The Stealth Force won't hesitate to cut you down. I want you to remember that." Tsu continued walking in silence for a while before speaking up once again. "So, It looks like we're going to be spending quite a bit of time stuck together. Think you'll make it?" The Fourth Seat grinned a bit as he spoke, hinting that it was a joke.

Hikari laughed a bit and then regarded Yuu. "You and Tsu-kun both... are you all right, Yuu-san?" She asked him, looking over him with worry. "You both look terrible this morning!" She frowned a bit before starting the trek to the Academy. "Are you nervous too?" She sighed and stared ahead. "I don't think you guys really need me on this mission," she stated flatly. "If anything, Squad 4 will just get in the way. It's supposed to be a routine mission, after all." She thought back to how she'd done in her own mission to the world of the living and sighed. She hadn't done the best. Her fighting lacked and if she hadn't been able to skip the chant for her kido spells she would have failed it miserably. Hopefully she wouldn't drag everyone else down with her this time around. "Don't worry about it too much, Yuu-san. You're really strong. You'll be fine!"

"Yes, but only if you understand your Shikai. You have to be sure that you won't endanger your classmates." Tsu rested his left hand on Hoshokusha's hilt. "When I first learned her name, I couldn't control the heat that came from her. It didn't affect me, but you try standing next to something over two thousand degrees. Tessa forbade me to use her during my training mission." Though, that didn't stop me, did it? "It's not going to be a walk in the park. Students have been killed during this mission in the past. You're going up against real Hollow. Do you understand that? And you're forbidden to use your Kido after what happened. On top of that, you don't even know who you're going to be paired with. You have to prepare yourself, Kid."

Tsu grinned a bit as he thought back to when he first released his Zanpakuto. "The first time, huh? Hmmm... I guess you could say, it was like being reunited with an old friend that you haven't seen in countless years. At least that's how it was for me. It's different for everyone. Believe it or not, some even start out completely opposed to each other." The Fourth Seat looked up from the road in front of them. "Looks like we're here." He made his way through the hallways of the Squad Eleven barracks to his...their quarters. He slid open the door and pointed to where Haru's belongings were. "You have a change of clothes in there. Get changed and we'll go."

Yuu just gave a tiny shrug at Hikari's question. "Define alright Hikari-san. I'm alive if that is what you mean." Giving her a kindhearted smile he brushed off her statement about him looking terrible. "Rough night." Giving her a head shake no would tell her that he wasn't nervous. He hadn't done horrible his first time and it was just a routine thing. "Not really. I mean obviously a little because there will be no actual full time teacher. But between Tsu-san, you, and me? I think we can handle anything short of a full scale Espada attack. Of course we need you on the mission. And you most certainly will not get in the way. Tsu-san and I are capable as are you. However things can still happen. It would be foolish to not have the best healer since Unohana-taicho herself be present." Nodding to her last statement Yuu smiled and gave a small smile. "Take your own advice Hikari-san."

"Well, I'm flattered you think that way but unfortunately I have a lot of work to do before I'm ever as good as my captain," she replied. She was still worried when he brushed her questions off. "You know, if I can ever do anything to help, please don't hesitate to ask. Well... anyways..." She thought of something to lighten the mood. "Um, so we're not late, race ya?"
