"Yeah, I s'pose not." He continued walking for a short time, unsure of how to bring up the subject. "So... uh... About earlier...?"

"Earlier...? Forget about it." Hikari wasn't normally this straightforward, but she figured that he was too smart for her to lead him off the topic at hand. "Look, I was confused for awhile, but I know now what can and can't happen, and I've accepted it. So why are you trying to approach me with this?" Her voice wavered a bit, and her bangs hid her eyes, but a blush was visible on her cheeks.

"No, Hikari. I'm not going to simply forget about what happened." Tsu came to a stop and shook his head slightly. "And, while you may have been confused, as you said. I trust that you're not anymore. I remember what happened back there in your Soul Space. And..." Tsu paused for a moment to collect his thoughts. There was a lot he had to say, but letting it come out all at once was probably not the way to go.
"Look, I owe you an apology. We've supposedly been friends pretty much all of our lives, but I didn't do my job. I let you go on suffering like this for all these years. How can I call myself your friend? I've hurt you deeply, both sides of you. And I'll do whatever it takes to make up for that."
Tsu's eyes seemed fixed on a point in the sky, not looking at her directly as he spoke. After all, what right did he have? He'd let her down, big time.

"If I have to, I'll spend the rest of my life making this up to you. No matter how long it takes, I'll work to make up for not only the pain I've caused you, but the pain inside that both sides of you have been living with all this time."

The blue haired Soul Reaper finally met Hikari's eyes. "Both of you said you wanted me by your side forever. You said you loved me." He reached out and gently set a hand on his childhood friend's shoulder. "If you'll allow it, I will stay at your side forever. I love you, too, Hikari. Not just one side or the other, but you as a whole."

Her eyes widened. "But I thought..." She tilted her head to the side and looked up at him in confusion. "...I thought you were annoyed by me. I don't remember what happened but for some reason I felt really uncomfortable around you. S-so I said that, did I...? Oh... that explains a lot..." Hikari wiped a tear away and smiled slightly. "Tsu... I had wanted to tell you that for a long time, but... I guess you already knew." She hesitantly leaned forward and hugged him lightly. "I'm really glad..."

Tsu let his arms wrap around the fourth squad's Lieutenant. "Now, who said that you annoyed me? Ya really think I'd stuff Matsumoto in a box and ship her over to the R&D division for someone who just annoyed me?" He shook his head slightly. "So, now that that's out of the way, where do we go from here? I mean-" Before he could continue, a voice interrupted him.

"Oh, what a beautiful sight!" Yumichika said as he stepped out from behind a building. "Two friends expressing their love for one another." He gave a sigh and rested his hand on his cheek, striking a rather feminine pose. "Oh, how I wish Madarame had come with. I'm sure he would be just as thrilled as I am. And the Captain! I'm sure he'd love to congratulate you two! After all, this could finally bring our squads together. Squads four and eleven, arm in arm. I never thought I'd see the day..."

Hikari's face reddened to the color of a cherry. She lifted her head to see Yumichika. "Well," she snapped at him uncharacteristically. "For someone who seems to be so quick to insult the 4th Squad, you sure spend a lot of time here as well. Just like now!"

"Oh, Misuzu-fukutaicho... Don't be so defensive! Of course he wasn't speaking ill of our squad. I know nothing would make him happier than having our squads join together. Isn't that right, Yumichika-san?" Unohana smiled brightly at the 5th seat.

Hikari shrunk behind Tsurabisu. It was at times like these that her captain scared the wits out of her!

Yumichika Ayasegawa mumbled some excuse and hightailed it back the way he had come from. Tsu couldn’t help but grin. Probably the only person who could make a member of the Zaraki squad turn tail and run besides Zaraki himself was the fourth squad’s Captain. Why that was, no one could quite put their finger on. After all, Captain Unohana had a reputation of being kind and caring. After all, she was a healer. But there was something about here that suggested that she was not one to mess around with.

Tsu chuckled a bit before turning to Unohana. “Captain, do you know if the kid’s awake yet? The wound wasn’t all that bad, so he must have passed out from shock.”

"He should be waking up anytime now, so there is no cause for concern." Unohana nodded. "I just wanted to inform you that the boy is all right."

"I'm so glad," Hikari sighed. "So then, Tsu-kun, you didn't hurt him too badly. Should we go check on him?"

As he lay there he felt something wonderful all over him. 'I wonder what is this blissful sensation.' He did not wanted to, but he opened his eyes to see a marsh with water floating above and the sky on his feet. Haru stood up and wonder for a bit. Scared at first, he got use to the strange scenery. 'I wonder what is this place.' He thought as his mind skim the whole area.

He eventually reached a spot that was different from the rest of the area. He found a room which was of a shrine that had two shields that looked like turtles shell in the middle spinning. As he got closer to it the shields rotated fast enough that it made a vortex that made the sky and water into unison. He could hear sounds coming from inside the vortex, as if someone was fighting. So he entered. This place was different than the previous one for water was around him. At first he thought he was drowning, but after awhile he got use to it. The place was a short walk since a cove was there that led to a room where the sound he heard earlier got louder. He couldn't believe what he saw. It appeared to him that two turtle like dolls were fighting a hideous monster.

Suishou just saw the green beam reflect of her shield like wild fire. Once it was all cleared she saw a boy who entered the room. 'No he shouldn't have come to this place, not now at least.' Seeing that part of the beam hit the thing, she took the opportunity and ran towards the boy. "Come with while we still can Haru."

He saw what one of the turtles did, and saw that she come. And when she heard her voice he knew that it was some one important, but he couldn't grasp the memories. "Why should I, and who are you?"

"Well I am not suppose to tell you my name until you figured it out, but if you truly are what I think you are then take him and run with me to the shrine." she said as she pointed to Kame.

Not knowing if he should believe her or not he grabbed the doll turtle and ran for, once the monster recovered from whatever she did then it might get him. "So you didn't tell me your name..."

"My name is Suishou and the one you have there if Kame. I know your name Haru for we are inside you, and if that thing comes and kill either one of us and you then it will pose a threat to the whole world. Also I must apologize for releasing him inside you, for it was my stupidity and my will to get out here that had done this.

Finally opening his eyes Kame heard what Suishou said. 'It is not your but ours for it was myself who did not share your desire to be set free, Suishou.' He also saw that he was moving somehow, away from the monster. "Suishou, where are we going, and who is... Oh I see that the shinigami knocked him unconscious enough to be in his soul plain.

"Soul plain, so that means that you two are my zanpakuto..." He felt some joy that he was holding one of his zanpakuto, so he ran faster than Suishou, and grabbed her. "So just tell me where to go, it was the shrine right?" With that said he ran towards the waters, and jumped out of the vortex. "Here you go, I think.

The monster felt Haru's presence before getting hit by his own attack. It then follow his scent towards them. They both told haru to get out of the way so that they could use their shields to close the vortex. It was too late for the monster came and blew some gas like substance that got both of them. He then took them both in each hand and said. "Now before they meet their doom, I will kill you first."

He cover his mouth and nose to not breath in the smog. He then saw that the monster got both of them. He clenched his arm into a fist and said. "No it is you that will die, I now know how you are and I won't let you reach Soul Society." He said as he said as he saw the two fallen weapons.

The monster knew that the kid was looking at them, so he got in front of the shields. 'He saw, maybe I can use my own zanpakuto to kill.' He took out the zanpakuto out, but the blade was missing as well the rest of the scabbard, Laughing, the monster said. "You can't pull your zanpakuto, since I have them right here." He then charge at Haru with wicked speed.

She finally opened her eyes and saw how Haru was defenseless. She knew that if, Haru did not get the two shield, and defeat it, then it would all be over, and that he would die while being unconscious.
The monster ram itself to Haru, and the pain double, for the wounds that he acquired from Tsurabisu had not been stable. Haru stood up from the attack. "I won't let you get out of here."
It did the same thing three times.

Blood was pouring down on Haru as he was sleeping in the fourth squad barracks. Bleeding from his wound, he still tried to advance towards the two shields.

The lieutenant walked side-by-side with the 4th seat until they reached the room the boy was in. Her eyes widened when she saw the blood. "T-Taicho!" She cried out worriedly, rushing over to the boy. Immediately she closed her eyes, performing a healing kido. "B-but my captain had him stable," she murmured. "I don't understand!" Is it the effects of his zanpakuto? She wondered.

"You just don't know when to quit." He said while ramming Haru with full speed.
Bleeding from those attacks he just fell. 'Is this it for me, am I really going to die within myself.' That was the only thing he ponder for he lay unconscious.
'It can't be...' A tear was dropping on her face. 'We were suppose to be set free from this prison.'
Kame woke up from the smog's affect and saw Suishou in tear. "What ha.." He then knew the reason why she was crying.
"Now that he is gone, it is your turn to go wherever the hell he went." He then was crushing and enjoyed there pain.
All of a sudden Haru was feeling that same sensation from before. This time it much a bliss that he was regaining his conscious. All his had been closed and the blood was dry. 'This feels so good and yet I don't even know whe...' The thought was interrupted by screaming from Suishou and Kame. "Try as you like, but you will never be set free."
"Is that so? Well I guess it is my fault for not finishing you." That being said he threw both of them at him, and unleash a beam that he was charging.
Haru got evaded Suishou, but got hit by Kame. As the beam was going towards them he grabbed Kame and jumped out of the way. He then ran towards the shields with Kame at one hand, before realizing that the beam hit Suishou.
He knew that Suishou was in critical condition, and if she was to get hit one more time then he would not forgive himself. "Why...why did you grabbed me Haru and not her. She was the one that wanted to be set free. You could at least grabbed her and let me there to die. After all she is the sword, as I am the less important scabbard."
"How should I know what was coming up. I was unconscious, and did not see him charge. Also... don't you go saying that you are less important than Suishou. She might be capable of killing thousand, but without the scabbard the sword would know no rest and would just be there to rust." He said as he was getting closer to the shields. "Also we won't let her die, right?"
Kame nodded, feeling confident that they will get out of the soul plain.
It rush past through them and said. "Not gonna happen." It then swung it's arm towards them.
Noticing his arm, Haru used his flash step to step to the right, and threw Kame towards the shields.
'They left her open, so now is my chance to finish her off, and then the boy.' It rush towards Suishou with a fist.
He was startled at first when Haru threw him, but he then saw the shields getting close by. 'Nice plan.' He thought as he grabbed his own shield. Kame then realize that Suishou was left unprotected. 'No, it might be the end for her...'
As the fist grew closer to her, it was then stopped by a rigged object, which caused the monster pain
Haru sword met with the fist. "I swear that not a thing would happen to her."
"You will pay for that." The monster had a fit and started to blast everywhere, not caring if they got hit or not.
Kame felt relief that she was okay. That relief ended as the monster was blasting everywhere He grabbed her shield and threw it to Haru.
Haru saw the blast coming and grabbed Suishou. He evaded some of them but got hit most of the time. He saw the shield coming and grabbed it, which caused him a bit of pain. Putting Suishou on his shoulder he to the shield off his hand and grabbed her ito the wounded hand. 'I saw her reflect the monster beam, so...' He shielded himself as the blast ricocheted all over the place. Getting closer, and closer Haru slash the thing in half.
As Haru was doing this, Kame as well was blocking, and did the same as Haru. After the hit Kame closed his eyes and chanted something. Both their shields were glowing brightly.
Haru did not knew what was going on, then he heard a voice.
"Throw....now"
He did as he was told, and both the shield were heading towards the monster. A sphere of greenish light surrounded the beast, and a vortex swallowed it. The monster was locked up. Before he could do anything Haru fell unconscious, and all he could hear was the sound of somebody.

"Misuzu-fukutaicho, please, step aside," Unohana spoke calmly, waiting for Hikari to move.

Move Hikari did. "Taicho, I tried but I couldn't..."

"It's all right, Misuzu. Really, he will be all right." The captain then fell silent, using her kido and surrounding the boy with her Reiatsu.

Hikari stepped back and watched helplessly. She glanced up at Tsu then hung her head. "I guess... I have a lot to learn yet, don't I?" She said softly, sadly.

'Is this another part of my soul plain.' He thought as he wonder into the darkness. After awhile of walking, Haru felt that he was going nowhere. Soon after doing that meaningless walking, he lay down and rested for the wounds started to make him even more tired. As he lay there the only thing that race among his mind was if Suishou was going to be okay. Not noticing his surroundings about the darkness getting lesser. He then fell asleep for quite some time. When he awoke he notice an energy that was was growing rapidly by the second. 'This feels good.' He thought as he was enjoying the energy that flowed in his body. After a while had pass Haru opened his eyes and saw the fourth squad captain casting a powerful kido on him, Hikari, and Tsurabisu. "Suishou, Kame..." Those were the first words he said, as he tried to sit up. He then noticed his zanpakuto beside the bed, which made him remember the events that occurred in his soul plain.

The captain smiled. "It's good to see that you're awake now," she said warmly.

The lieutenant sighed in relief. "Thank goodness," she clasped her hands together. "I'm so glad. Haru, are you all right?" She looked at her captain worriedly. "Taicho, he's supposed to go on that mission to the world of the living tomorrow. Do you think he will be all right to go?"
Unohana nodded. "I don't see why not. His injuries weren't all that serious, and it seems that his Zanpakuto has finally decided to awaken." She took a step back and looked to her lieutenant. "Besides, if anything out of the ordinary happens, you will be there. I have faith in my lieutenant, after all."

"Yes, thank you." he said to the fourth squad captain while bowing to her. "Yes I feel better." He responded to Hikairi. After hearing that his zanpakuto has finally awaken he remembered now that Suishou was badly injured. So he reached his zanpakuto and said "Unohana-taicho, I was wondering if you know how to heal a zanpakuto. I know this is a stupid request, but as I was in my soul plain one of my zanpakuto got injured, and that is why I am begging you if you knew how to cure it?" He said as he draw out Suishou from Kame. The blade was rusted, and chipped off.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 05, 2010 3:37 pm

The captain took over the blade and examined it with a serious look on her face. Then, she handed it back to him with a smile. "Certainly. Rest. Your zanpakuto is a manifestation of your spiritual powers. Therefore, if you are injured, it could affect your zanpakuto. You could also take it to be repaired, but it's extremely expensive. Someone even on my salary or the lieutenant's here wouldn't be able to do it very often. My best advice would be give it a few days to heal itself. That does mean that you will have to go easy on it during your mission, though." Unohana answered.

After hearing what Unohana had said, that put his mind at ease. He put Suishou back in Kame and thought. 'Maybe that is all Suishou really needs, to rest. I just need to be careful and not overuse her.' "Thank you for everything you done." He finally responded to Unohana-taicho." That being said he rested, and stared at the ceiling. Wondering how is sensei doing. After a bit he fell asleep.
