Mitsuki10191 Ambrose stared in wonder at the things going on around him, gazed respectfully at the tree. Something Lin would give her life to protect. If she'd do such for a tree, how would she act when it was an actual human? Devotion and pride in her heritage. Two things he found to love about her once more. Lin's eyes lit up with excitement as she thought of something. She gently grabbed Ambrose's hand and led him over to the tree. Then, she lifted their joined hands and she rested his hand against the tree. "There! Focus a moment. Can you feel the life pulsing through the tree? Can you hear its voice? It doesn't speak with words but rather with energy patterns."

((Waiting till I can alter my state of mind, so I spose I'll post))
CRACK! Krauser's steel toe drove into Nathan's ribs. Several seconds later and he had him by the collar, dragging him across the dark floor. "It's really a shame you can't see in the dark Mr. Enlil, I've found it quite the useful attribute. Don't you just love how far medical technology has come in the last century?" He threw him inside a pitch black elevator and stepped inside, pressing his heel to the back of his neck. As the elevator began to move, music began to play; rather than your cheesy elevator music, it was more upbeat, and Nathan knew he had heard it at least once before. It was in fact Koka Kola by The Clash, one of the first punk bands to emerge on the scene and straight from the UK. The song fit ominously well as Joe Strummer said "Elevator goooooin UP!" in the beginning, leading to an oddly upbeat reggae punk tune.

Nathan gasped with pain as he was dragged into the elevator. He couldn't retort to Krauser, he couldn't even breathe properly at the moment, much less snap back at the demon who defiled what used to be a sactuary for Nathan Enlil. But, if he could say something, he'd probably comment on the uncanny choice of song in the elevator.
Luckily for the man, help was on the way. The dark elevator began to hold a very weighty, oppressive atmosphere. Not a moment later, Ophiuchus appeared in the elevator in the form of a large python wrapped very tightly around Krauser's neck, strangling him.

"You think these parlor tricks can stop a man of my scientific prowess? Constrict all you wish, my lungs are host to a plethora of harmless oxygen supplying and carbon diffusing microorganisms, I don't need your worthless air." When it became clear that a broken neck was also an issue as the beast continued to squeeze, Krauser finally resorted to his ace. He calmly undid part of his trench coat and removed a large vial of glowing blue liquid. He calmly attached a needle to the end and injected the entire amount directly into his femoral artery. Without warning his body began to rapidly build muscle mass, laying layer upon layer of energetic new muscle upon the old and withered bones until a hulking monstrosity tore from the ties of it's own coat. His neck became large and difficult to tighten around, and quickly enough he had his powerful hands around the serpent's own throat.

Kai shrugged watching as the spell caster phased through the ceiling. "Fine meet you there." He picked up stopped abruptly at the doorway too the stairwell. He looked up seeing a small amount of space that lead all the way up the staircase, just what he needed. "I'll meet you up there wolfie" He chuckled before jumping off the ground covering a few floors before latching onto the guard rail pausing a second before launching himself up higher in the building. It only too a few moments for him to get to the floor he needed, already sensing the activity going on." He formed two silver light weight blades in his hands and ran towards the action.

Sly nodded at Night, took the first step towards the forest, his eyes narrowed in determination. These demons could bring his child back to him, give her back. And by God, if they managed it, things would be different. To hell with public image and family standing. She was his daughter, damn it, and no one was telling him otherwise.
Ambrose laid his palm up against the tree, felt almost immediately the pulse of life beneath his fingertips. And he heard it speaking, vaguely in a way that somehow let it know it was conveying something. It spoke of tradition and heritage, unity and peace. It was powerful and knew it, and he had to smile at the pride he felt.

((Oh. My. Frigging. Waffles. You know what I won playing Whack-A-Mole? A platypus. A freaking awesome stuffed PLATYPUS! I've named him George. George is the s**t.))
Addie woke to find that the storm had passed, and the morning was bright and warm, the sun shining in through her window. Eli's head rested atop her chest, but he woke as she stirred, licked her face when she sat up. Stretching her arms over her head, she brushed absently at the fur Eli had shed during the night.
"Good morning, Eli." She said cheerfully, then set about getting dressed. Papa had promised her a trip into town today. They would eat breakfast at the diner in town, shop for groceries, and have fun for the day. He really was spoiling her, she thought, and for a reason she couldn't name, found it a nice change. From what, she couldn't say.
Pulling on a clean pair of jeans and a blouse the color of the sky, she was about to pull on a pair of boots when something on her dresser caught her eye. Dropping the boot in her hand, she walked over and looked down at a set of blue and black hair ribbons. Funny, she didn't remember these, and she'd done a thorough search of her room the other day, hoping something would jog a memory or two.
Reaching out for them, she jolted a bit when her fingertips brushed the satin ribbons. Feelings, too many, rushed through her at once. Shock, surprise, stunned joy. And regrets, something she had troubel recognizing. Regret, and...something more, something worse, so much worse. It hurt her heart, and was a feeling too heavy, too crushing, for her to understand.
But as soon as they came, the feelings passed. The one she managed to hang onto was the joy, and she picked them up, going over to her mirror and tying her hair back with them. With a little laugh, she saw that they pleased her quite a bit. Studying her face in the mirror for a bit, she raised her fingertips to her cheek, ran it over the soft skin. It was funny, she thought briefly. She didn't look much like any of her family members, though they all looked a bit like each other in some fashion. Well, it was most likely nothing. Worry wasn't something she was very familiar with either.
Shrugging it off, she slipped on her boots, ran her hand over Eli's head, then practically skipped out the door. Today was going to be fun.

It was so exciting, and she was excited again for Ambrose. He could feel it! She couldn't help it. She smiled so brightly and before she knew it, she had thrown her arms around Ambrose and was hugging him tightly. "Oh Ambrose! You felt it!"

Oh, he felt something, all right, Ambrose thought, and it wasn't just the thoughts of a tree. He managed a laugh, somehow, and swallowed the lump in his throat even as his heart swelled. "Yeah...Yeah, I felt it. That's something, all right. Something even your great-great-great grandchildren will be able to experience one day...You've got something special her, Lin...Something very special." He murmured, absorbing the felling of her arms around him.

Lin pulled back and giggled. She didn't seem uncomfortable or anything. Just the same old Lin. "I dream of bringing my children and grandchildren here and raising them around this tree! Ambrose, when you start a family, I truly hope you will choose to live and raise them here."

"Yeah, that...that may very well be the plan." He said, scraching the back of his head and becoming suddenly absorbed in the tree again. "Uh...Anyway...great tree. Really great tree." He said, feeling like an idiot.

Lin's eyes widened when she heard what Ambrose said and the tone that he used to say it in. He must be getting bored! He wasn't familiar with being an Elf, yet, so all this conversation about 1 tree was probably boring him very quickly.
Lin laughed and shook her head. "Oh my, Ambrose. I am so sorry. Here I am rambling on about our tree and I have not even shown you half of our home! Let's continue!"
She quickly guided down the ramp they had taken to get up to the square.
((Is it ok if we just skip past the rest of the tour? lol. I don't really know what else is in the Elven home, yet.))

"Right sorry to break you away from your tree ... but now we go, let the trees guide you like mana guides me." With a deep breath he closed his eyes feeling the flow of demonic mana towards the three demons. "You ready? ... GO!" He darted forward into the thick brush the path he was taking clearly visible to him. Nothing was going to stop him from finding the demons, Nothing was going to stop him from finding Danni, nothing not even fate.
He stopped just before the demons meeting place seeing the dark scrying orb in the middle of the three, the eyes of the diablo watching all three of them. "I found you, you bastards," He told himself watching for sly.

Sly managed to keep up with Night, saw the trio of demons and a pair of eyes in an orb that made his blood freeze. "That's the group who could find my daughter." He stated unnecessarily, needing to keep reminding himself that he could, in fact, have another chance to get Danni back.
