Gannon…
The heat of Miko’s magic brought the Teru to consciousness. “Ugh… This yer way-” A coughing fit cut him off. “Yer way of warming up to me, Kid?” Gannon tried to sit, but a sharp pain in his stomach and back kept him on his back. “Where…are we? Where’s Hikari…?” Another coughing fit racked his lungs with pain.

Miko~

Immediately upon hearing his voice she stopped her magic. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't hurt you did I? I just thought you were going to freeze the room and yourself and..." Miko saw his discomfort and administered another of her healing spells. Afterwards, she bit her lip. Whether or not to worry him about Hikari's condition while he was in the state he was in? "O-oh, she's okay. She's... uh, sleeping in the room over. Apparently the doctor couldn't find anything really wrong with her." It was the truth. After all, the doctor didn't find anything physically wrong with her. "I think you should get some more sleep."

Gannon…
"Nothin' wrong...eh?" Gannon gritted his teeth as he tried once again to sit, doing his best to ignore the pain. "Naw... Been asleep long enough." The Teru glanced around the room. "Where are we? How long was I out?"

Miko~

"A day. Which is why you should really get some more rest. Don't worry, we'll take care of everything on this end! So just rest easy, okay? I'm waiting for the okay from the others to visit the dive shop. They're thinking now might be a good time to dive into Hikari. Mana might have to try since we don't have much time... eh, I mean..." She trailed off, worrying that she had volunteered too much information. "I mean... we're in Behdla and all so we don't really want to stay here much longer..." She finished lamely.

Gannon…
Gannon raised an eyebrow. If he'd been at one hundred percent, he would have picked up on it right away, but there was no mistaking what Miko meant. They didn't have much time. Time for what? The only reason they'd try and dive into Hikari so soon after the battle was because something had happened to her. Gannon slowly turned, trying to ignore the pain as he placed his feet on the floor. "Ya know, for being Mana's sister, yer a piss poor liar..."

"I'm not lying!" Mana balled her hands into fists and glared at him angrily. "The doctor really said that he couldn't find anything physically wrong with Hikari! We really are in Behdla! What have I lied about? And what in the world do you think you're doing trying to get up!? Didn't I tell you that you still need rest? All the healing spells and medicine in the world won't save you if you don't rest and die from overexertion!" She put her hands on his shoulders and pushed him gently back. "Both you and my sister should have been siblings instead of us. You're more alike," Miko admitted sheepishly. "Please, just let everyone else take over for Hikari."The doctor knocked on the door just then. "So you're awake, I see. Nice to see ya up and about, Gannon. I had no idea you and Mana were acquainted with one another. Between the two of ya, I'm able to stay in business with just the bills you both pull in." The doctor joked. He then turned serious, his attention shifting to Miko. "I need to talk to ya, please come with me. It's about the girl." He nodded to the next room, pulling on Miko's arm. "I'll be waiting in her room." He exited the room. Miko knew that Gannon would try to follow, and so she nodded to the doctor. "I'll be right there, doctor. Please, stay here Gannon..." She closed her eyes and began casting a sleep spell on the Teru in front of her. Submission spells were never her specialty, and so it took her a little while to start casting them. She only hoped that he wouldn't realize what she was doing and deflect it.

Gannon…
"Doctor... Gensei? Don't this beat all?" The Teru shook off Miko's hands as soon as he felt the magical field around them began to alter. The kid's trying to cast a spell on me? In the current situation, there were only a few spells she could hope to cast. Either healing or a sleep spell. And since she was trying to get him to lay down, the latter seemed to be more likely. Fine. Let's play this game... Before the woman could finish her spell, Gannon cast his own. Even with as weak as he was, such a simple reflection spell was as easy as it got.

Rhaplanca Rhaplanca groggily stepped out of her pod, "Before we head back to the clinic," she yawned, she would sleep easy tonight, "I'd like to stop at the wares shop," she stood and straightened her clothes. The dive shop owner stood quickly, unsure if he should be seated around the Reyvateil, "Thank you for your business, miss, today's free off charge," he said stiffly. Rhaplanca shook her head, "Don't be ridiculous," she replied as she handed him 100leaf from her pocket, "Thank you for your time," she said and quickly left so she wouldn't have to deal with the man's strange attitude. She waited outside for Ishira, a cool night air refreshing her lungs.

Miko~

The half-ling blinked in surprise when she felt the spell shift and reflect back to her. "Wha-?" She quickly deflected it with another defense spell and glared at him. "You idiot. I'm doing this for your own good, you know! Fine, go kill yourself for all I care!" She snapped, and then took a deep breath in an attempt to control her frustration and anger. "If you need me, I'm going to be in the room over where Hikari is. Apparently the doctor had something he wanted to tell me." She turned away from Gannon and opened the door. "Since you insist on being an annoyance anyway, you may as well sit in on this discussion. After all, physically there's nothing wrong with her. Hikari just won't wake up and isn't responding to anything the doctor does." She left the door open for him and left the room. She knocked and opened the other door. "Doctor, prepare yourself for some company. Gannon wants in," she said, rolling her eyes. "Maybe you can knock some sense into him."The elderly man nodded. "It might be good to get his input, child. He's had previous experience with diving and Third-Generation Reyvateils, so he might know a wee bit more than I when it comes to this little lady's troubles." "What about his injuries?" Miko demanded. "He should be resting!"The man chuckled. "Heh, heh, well if he overexerts himself and ends up back here, it's another paycheck to me, so I won't concern myself with it." He laughed lightly with a joke. He saw the look on the half-ling's face and patted her on the shoulder. "Miko, you're a kind and nurturing soul. He'll be fine. He wouldn't be moving, otherwise. I assure ya he knows his limits." Miko growled. "He is an idiot!" She pouted and turned away from the doctor, staring down at the Reyvateil who lay unconscious before her. "I wonder what's really going on inside...? Do you think her mind is really collapsing?""It's only an uneducated guess, but from some of the Reyvateils I've treated over the years, that's the most likely explanation. It stems from problems inside their Cosmosphere. If the Reyvateil finds someone to dive into her in time, she is saved. If not, her mind collapses and she dies. I've seen both situations occur." The doctor informed her. "The dive machines're up, according to another customer. Time's not on her side, young'un. Your sister said that she would dive. The other Reyvateil offered to do a Proxy dive to help. You should find them right away and start. Every second wasted is a second closer to when her mind collapses." He was aware that the doors were open and that Gannon had probably heard at least some of what was said. The doctor waited patiently for Gannon to come into the room before continuing and asking Gannon for his input.

Ishira

Ishira looked confused, "The weapon shop?" but before he received an explanation, Rhaplanca paid the owner and exited the shop, "Thanks," Ishira repeated to the owner and he met Rhaplanca outside, "Why the weapon shop?" He asked again and began to lead Rhaplanca across the street despite his disbelief.

Rhaplanca Rhaplanca stepped into the shop before Ishira, "I'm looking for grathnode crystals," she explained to Ishira and told the shop keeper simultaneously, "Blue magic enhancements, preferably," she said as she strolled up to the counter, "My price range is between 200 and 300leaf," she said confidently. "Ah, ye know you're stuff missie," the shop keeper rubbed his chin and set a tray of crystals inlaid in velvet on the counter and pointed to a row, "These are in your range." Without so much as a moment to look them over she pointed to a rather jagged crystal, "I see no flaw in this one, the others aren't worth the price," she pointed out bluntly. She handed him 300leaf, "Thank you." The man laughed, embarrassed by a failed attempt to rip off a customer, "That's business for ye," he took the money and handed her the crystal.

Ishira

Ishira was surprised by how worldly Rhaplanca was with business, but he was engulfed in a barrel full of staffs and naginatas. His preferences were way too expensive for what he had on him, he settled on a plain naginata that was the least flimsy, "And I'll take this he said confidently, setting the weapon on the counter."A wise choice, ma boy!" the shop keeper's eyes sparkled from a chance to redeem his lost chance, "150 leaf, a darn good deal!" He held out his hand for payment.

Rhaplanca Rhaplanca held her arm out in front of Ishira's ready to pay hand, blocking the shop keeper's, "150leaf for a standard, non-upgradable naginata?" Rhaplanca questioned caustically, "The most that particular weapon goes for is 75leaf," Rhaplanca had an affinity for weapons and authentic ones at that, "75leaf or no deal."The shop keeper gritted his teeth, "Tch, you just may be the cause for my business going under, missie," he took the 75leaf from Ishira. "Honest people do not deserve to be swindled by the dishonest," she retorted and turned away, leaving the shop.

Ishira

Ishira was astounded by Rhaplanca's knowledge of such a brutish trade but thankful to only hand over 75leaf. For a moment he regretted not asking her opinion about the weapons he truly liked, but this was a better deal than anticipated. Gratefully he brandished his new weapon and followed Rhaplanca out of the shop, "Thanks, but how do you know about such things?" he looked over her shoulder at her purchase, "And what's that for?"

Rhaplanca "I guess it's hard to imagine it as a hobby for a Reyvateil, huh?" she sighed, "Rhemi and I bonded by learning such a trade to be honest. She taught me everything she knew about weapons, and I in return taught her about stuffed animals. Opposites attract in friendship I suppose," she looked down at the crystal in her hand, "This is a grathnode crystal. Crystals in general are on a need to know basis for all Reyvateils, having so many installs just makes me considerably more knowledgeable on the subject. A grathnode crystal is different from the tranquility crystals that ease Reyvateils fatigue and the diquility that treat third generations as a life extending agent. This crystals are 'power-ups' for song magic and some can even provide attributes and upgrades for weapons," she explained looking back at Ishira's new weapon, "That particular weapon is a standard with no availability for upgrades with grathnode crystals. That's why it was so cheap" she frowned then returned her attention to her crystal, "This one however, is going to be installed into me to improve my song magic," her voice wavered slightly, "by you... tonight."
