I was born different.. People believed that i was cursed, to be honest at first even i thought it was a hindrance more than a gift. I was the good girl. I never did any wrong.. at least not anything i could not get away with if i bat my eyes, Momma would comb my hair and braid it ready for school, my father he would sit there and drink himself to a stupor, when mother told me not to mutter a word about her bruises, i was the good girl as i never told a soul. At four years old i could get away with conversing with the dead. It was easier then to assume it was an imaginary friend, and the nightmares, that was premonitions being but harmless dreams. But as i aged, the innocence of being a child wore off and i delved upon a path that i am ..looking back now, rather embarrassed that i trod upon. That day i dreaded happened, I came home... I realized I was a coward to stop it, I watched as my father got up from his chair, mother had not cooked food on time due to father's addiction to the amber liquid, money was tight.. mother upon her knees begging forgiveness. It was then the good girl was no more, I opened my mouth and I screamed..When I should of stayed silent. The little girl I was, easily flung to the side like a broken rag-doll and then..my world was black and blue.
When I awoke, my mother was Surrounded by police and medics, and the life was gone from her eyes, and my father was cowering in a corner, afraid of me. That's what made me think that the Curse was actually a gift, the gratification i got that day seeing my father curled up in a ball. He was unfit to look after me after that and then I was Alone in nightmares.
I was the one that ran away.
My disturbed early years followed me, Foster Care and then adoption..I got dumped upon a family whom just did not understand my suffering. I had an obsession with drink, wild parties and drugs... dabbling in the occult sealed my fate. And rather than accept I had a problem... the coward I was ran.

Luke will often be quite and reasonable around others, tending to keep to his own and staying away from the loud people, often found in the quietest areas around, laying down listing to music and watching time fly by in peace, regardless of this peaceful demeanor he will not shy away from a challenge or a fight. Most the time blunt and honest with answers and opinions but once people get to know him he can be a loyal friend to the death but never expect him to be warm or super nice to others.
Regardless of all that he is capable fighter especially with armed with his scythe, nimble, strong, cold and calculative, never shying away from ending someones life, some think that makes him cold but in his own mind death is something that will come for them all just at different times.

Luke's childhood can be called normal, despite being a lonely childhood it was a peaceful one, Luke never made many friends, living in the dangerous side of town his mother put him into Martial Arts ever since he could kick "For his own protection." She would say, Luke didn't mind at all, most of his free time was spent reading, playing video games and making himself dinner while his mother worked extra hours. Growing up hit mother never lied about who his dad was so whenever Luke felt safe he would train and use his powers around the house but his peaceful changed once he had to move camp leaving behind the only person he ever loved and his simple way of living.

Ah Dylan Sprayberry, what a beautiful man. I have been looking and mulling over this for some time. I think that you should choose between one of your manipulations and look more closely at the Riordan Wiki. By looking at it you can get a feel for Thantos and what his Children may be like.
An example: Silent Footsteps, Thanatos is now stealthy thansk to Sisyphus maybe build your character more around that? I dunno. Tell me whatcha think in the debate thread?

Mavis is a brave, strong and caring girl, though at times she can be very proud, commanding and has a very high amount of self-respect, almost to the point of condescension and narcissism She likes to be in charge and give out orders to people and becomes very angry if they are disobeyed. She also has a bit of a temper. As such Mavis comes off as a very serious young woman with a moderate sense of humor. She also has a strong sense of honor and justice as shown by her great compassion. She greatly cares for her friends and family willing to risk her life to protect or help them.(especially after James and Jocelyn) Though a natural leader, Mavis can be plagued by doubt and criticizes herself whenever hes makes an error. Although she is short tempered and vengeful, she's also capable of sympathy for those that have suffered some injustices, quite possibly due to the mistreatment she received at the hands of her stepfather.
Mavis is the most calculating, cunning and analytical member of Ares Cabin. She is able to carefully look past her feelings most of the time and see the real situation at hand. She is extremely perceptive, able to quickly recognize the patterns and mistakes that her opponents make, which gives her an edge. In battle, while her preference is to concoct strategies based on deduction of her opponents' fighting abilities and style, her natural battle instincts are also highly tuned. He is capable of slashing another person's head off in just an instant, relying only on impulse. However, her care for hwe friends and family are the backbone of her fighting drive, as she would sacrifice just about anything to protect them and thus making her a reliable teammate despite her cunning front. Mavis has a very kind heart.
In the face of adversity, Mavis has the uncommon ability to shun all emotions and shine a blank slate, thinking three to four steps ahead to clutch the pinch and seize control of the situation. Coupled with her intelligence, her detached emotional state is perhaps her greatest asset.

• Gate's of Sparta: This ability allows Mavis to manipulate and summon her weapons. Once Mavis takes ownership of a weapon, by picking it up, the symbol of Ares will appear on it. (special weapons such as Riptide are not affected) This Mark allows Mavis to then summon the weapons to her side where she lift it up in the air and move them with her mind. The max number of weapons she can move telekineticly at a time is 15 weapons. This technique is one of Mavis favorites and most versatile as she can use swords or spears in a similar fashion as arrows.
• Electrokinesis: As a great granddaughter of Jupiter, Mavis is able to manipulate lightning. However this ability is restricted to physical contact; meaning she can't shot lightning, but she can shock people or electrify weapons. During rain storms or in areas with lots of water this ability can be very dangerous. This also gives her a resistance to lightning.
• Sword Sense: Mavis is able to sense weapons up to half a mile away. She can tell the type, amount, and the direction of weapons around her. This ability has helped her warn the camp a few times but it takes a lot of concentration meaning she can't use it constantly. However if used in quick burst in combat it can tip things in her favor as it gives her eyes on weapons in her blindspots.

Inherited Martial Prowess As the daughter of the War God Mavis was born to fight but her talents in combat far overshadows that. When it comes to fighting, Mavis is a master of one everything related to being a savage and brutal fighter. She can master almost any weapon, fighting style and handle almost any opponent. Fighting runs through her veins and while she seems levelheaded Mavis lives for the rush of fighting. The level of devotion, study, and aptitude Mavis has is said to be on par with Ares.
• Masterful Strategic Thinking & Aptitude Unlike her siblings in Ares cabin, Mavis is a great strategists. She has shown exceptional tactical thinking, during capture the flag and then during the battles against the Grover's Army, that even Athena cabin has been in awe of her brilliant strategies. Mavis keen sense of direction and ability to break down situations and formulate solutions does not just apply itself to large scale battles; but also within the microseconds of actual one-on-one combat. She has a truly terrifying ability to assess, analyze, plan, simulate and finally precisely strike within seconds.
• ADHD Like almost all Demigods, Mavis' natural heroic reflexes manifest themselves as ADHD like symptoms. These make her impulsive and she finds it hard to keep still. It also helps her to stay alert to her surroundings. When she was younger her ADHD was actually a lot worse but as she grew older she grew into herself; maybe her body finally became able to handle all of the energy that coursed through it on a daily basis?

It is not Dyslexia. Demigods are "hard-wired" to understand their ancient language, the Greeks are hard wired to Ancient Greek while Roman are hard wired to Latin. Mavis was born in sunny San Francisco, and was the oldest of three children to Selena Valentine a granddaughter of Jupiter. In the early years of her life Mavis was happy her mother, a pilot, would always bring her gifts from around the world; while her father, actually a stepfather, would watch the kids at his auto shop. This happy little family stayed as such until Mavis was 5 when Selena died; the day her mother died had started off strange, she had made Mavis promise to be strong and keep her sisters safe almost as if she knew what would happen that day. It was a routine flight from San Francisco to Honolulu, yet halfway between the two a freak hurricane hit and stole her mother and her happiness.
The airline had a life insurance plan for its pilots so their family wasn't without help; but the day her mother died was the day Mike, her stepfather, showed his true colors. The first time Mavis called him daddy after the funeral she was slapped being told she wasn't his daughter. Yet not a single tear fell from her eyes, as she remembered her promise to her mom. Slowly over the next few years Mavis became more a servant to her stepfather and a mom to her sisters, this would've continued if not for something that happened when Mavis was 10. To this day no one is sure what happened but someone or something attacked the night of her tenth birthday. The house was in ruins Mike was critically injured, and her sisters were trapped in a burning part of the house. Mavis knew she could only save one so though Mike was right there begging for help, Mavis simply looked down at the pathetic man who'd tried to break her and said one thing to him. "Sorry your not my father," she then ran off to help her sisters.
That night Mavis felt her first taste of vengeance and heroism, she liked both. However as the police arrived while the three girls were outside, Mavis realized this was her one chance for freedom. Kissing her sisters' foreheads she told them not to worry she'd not leave them like their mom, she was just going to have the grandma watch them for a while. With that Mavis escaped into the night, to this day she's unsure what drove her to camp half-blood, but suspects her father.
When she first arrived the young girl was very child-like, yet retained many of the traits she shows now. Always playing and training the young demigod quickly grew into one of the best warriors by 14, it was a perk of being a year round camper and having a older half-sister like Clarise. The summer of her 15th year that Mavis met James and Jocelyn, also known as the wonder twins. You see though not actually twins the were stepsiblings from both mortal and immortal parents; James a son of Hephaestus and Jocelyn a daughter of Aphrodite. The two not only shared parents but also a birthday being born the same year and day, which led to the wonder twins thing.
Mavis met the two when her sword broke. Though she'd tried for years to stay away from Hephaestus cabin, due to the forge god reminding her of Mike, the sword was beyond her skill to mend. Upon entering she'd literally ran face first into Jocelyn who'd been storming out on her brother. After a brief argument on who's fault it was the two stopped and started laughing as each realized the other was right. This allowed Jocelyn to cool off enough to introduce her brother, for Mavis and as she'd later learn from James it was love at first sight. While yes they were both teenagers the heart can admit that which even society can not.
From that day forward the three became as if adjoined together; yet Mavis was still weary of going in the Hephaestus cabin, and the twins couldn't help Mavis and Clarise when others looked to the sisters for leadership on the battlefield. This happy trio continued until the winter of their last year at camp, during the attacks of Grover. A scouting party found a group of monsters preparing an attack on the camp while most the campers were away. Unfortunately Mavis and an Athena girl were arguing about something she can't even remember now; and Mavis being so stubborn had locked herself in her cabin. Even her boyfriend (James) and her best friend (Jocelyn), couldn't get her out. However without Mavis or any Ares children to lead the charge the twins suspected the few campers still there wouldn't have the courage to fight. So Jocelyn knowing where Mavis kept her armor and spear used her powers to imitate Mavis using charmspeak to fool Clarise. Then Jocelyn and James led the troops who rallied to the false Mavis and her siblings. As with ever imposter they can't match the real thing, and sadly Jocelyn was no different she fell to a minotaur. James in a bloody rage then attacked and likewise fell to the mighty beast.
The real Mavis who'd been playing with Jocelyn's dove wondered why everything was so quiet as the campers returned. What happened next no one can say but the devastated Mavis left with her shield sword and spear yet without armor. In less than an hour the blood stained form of Mavis returned a minotaur head in hand, after which James and Jocelyn's bodies were burned. Mavis became less open, she returned to see her sisters for a few months, and attempted to live a normal life. However nightmares and monsters pushed her back to camp not wanting a repeat of her tragic loss.

Has a tattoo of a upturned crescent moon, with a triskele between the points on the inside of her left wrist, an industrial piercing in her left ear, a helix piercing in her right ear, and two studs per earlobe. On the inside of her right wrist is Nemesis' symbol in bold black, a set of scales in perfect balance. She has platinum blonde (White) hair and ice blue eyes, with pale white skin. She has her Camp Jupiter symbol tattooed on her left ankle, and her SPQR tattoo on her right hip, just over the bone itself. The SPQR tattoo has a whip around it, as if the whip were a ribbon, instead of the scales others would have, had she had any siblings.

Amarantha's father was always away, he was a well known and respected FBI agent who worked on high priority cases, like white collar crime and murder cases amongst the rich and famous. As such, she rarely got to see her dad, and she never knew her mom growing up, so she was a lonely child. The only love she really got was from her babysitter, who was a kindly old woman from Athens, who spoke both Latin and Greek on top of broken English. When she was only ten she was home attempting to do her homework, once again only with Sophia, when her home was broken into. She heard the sound of Sophia shouting in Latin and Greek. When she went to investigate, she found her father's bloody corpse on the ground, and saw several men brutalizing Sophia, the poor older woman fighting her hardest; but they killed her easily. Amarantha couldn't help bust scream in horror, and that's when they turned to her. It turned out that they had been hired to kill her dad, because of his work on putting some high class CEO of some company away for something or other. Sophia and Amarantha were just bonuses to the violent hired assassins. The men grabbed Amarantha, and were choking her, about to abuse her in ways no girl should be, when something amazing happened. Shadowy spirit-like beings formed in her blurry vision, and began to rip the men apart in the most violent way possible. Before Amarantha knew what was truly happening, she passed out from lack of air and fear.
It was while she was passed out that her mother visited her for the first time in her life. It was in her dream that she was told who and what she was, and where she had to go. She learned from her mother that she was the Daughter of Nemesis, and that she was essentially a child of balance, meant to balance the scales, to punish the wicked, and the arrogant, and to bring the downtrodden and miserable up. That no good or bad deed was to go unpunished, if it was deserved. Amarantha was not confident in herself, or her abilities, or even in her mother's assessment of her, but she took it all in and made her way to Camp Jupiter, where she decided that Amarantha would remain, never to step foot into the normal human world again. She integrated herself into camp life, though she never really spoke to anyone. She trained, she learned that she enjoyed running, and swimming, and of all weapons she learned that she loved the whip and sword the most, and tended to ignore training with other weapons. While her silence bothers Lupa, the Wolf Goddess in charge of the training of all the Campers, her diligence in her training earned her a soft spot in the Goddess' eyes, though Amarantha wasn't aware of this. It was during training with the sword that she met Candour for the first time, and felt his thirst for revenge. His need for her mother's namesake was so strong that it infected Amaranta's very behavior, and made her act as if she were more a daughter of Mars than of Nemesis for the moment. Of course, because of her slight build, and her general lack of a fighting spirit normally, she failed miserably and was taken out without effort on Candour's part. It was his need for revenge that drew her to him, like a moth to the flame, or a cat with it's curiosity. She stayed back from him, but was always close enough to watch Candour. Of course he confronted her about it, nearly making the girl shake apart as she tried to explain without words why she was so fascinated by him. In the end, he mostly dismissed her, until she was assigned to the 4th Cohort, which he was the leader of.
Amarantha was there, on the battle field, when Grover attacked Camp Jupiter. She was there on orders Of Candour, her Cohort leader, and she did her job, silent as always. But, when Candour dismissed the 4th Cohort to make a final stand, Amarantha remained, never once wavering. She could feel people's need for revenge, and it fueled her own need for the very same. This was the only home she had known after the death of her father and Sophia, and now someone was trying to take it from her. She fought long and hard, and helped many escape the carnage, Nigel Robertson being one of them. She held no ill will for the younger boy, since he was relatively new to camp at the time, while she had been in camp since she was ten, and was now sixteen. But this was her home, and she would not let it fall without putting up a fight the likes of which most would have never thought her capable of. It was during the final battle for camp that she once again released the spirits of the Revenge-driven, those who had been killed unjustly in life, and would not pass on until their need for revenge had been quelled. The spirits slaughtered many of the invading forces, but there were heavy losses on the Campers' side as well, from both the invading forces, and from the spirits of Vengeance.

Brandon is Ambidextrous, though he still favors his right hand over his left.

Brandon's most notable features would be his electric blue eyes. Noted by Hera to be bluer and prettier than her husband's, Brandon's eyes are typically the first thin that people see or tend to notice. Due to how brightly colored his eyes are, many have often accused him of wearing contacts and one friend of his even tried to pull his "contact" out just to prove it. As far as Brandon's concerned his most notable feature would be the katana pendant he wears around his neck. Once he pulls against the hilt of the blade, it transforms and grows bigger and longer until it is the size of a regular katana. Likewise, to return it to it's pendant size, he need only move to sheathe it through the tiny cloth before it shrinks down to size.

Brandon is a strong-willed young man who always speaks resolutely. He is courageous, determined, and is set on accomplishing whatever goals he sets for himself. Brandon believes in following his own morals regardless of more viable tactics being available should he consider them to be underhanded. Due to the simple fact that Brandon was forced to train with Athena, he is quick to notice certain body positions along with favored hands and or which foot (feet) opponents use in and favor in combat. To this affect, he is able to focus more of his attacks to whichever side he deems as the weaker of the two. There are times in which companions or friends of his will do things that are generally unwise, or would not be the best course of action, and to this, Brandon will call them out on it. To him, there is nothing wrong with giving a second opinion on a certain plan, for that second opinion may be the deciding factor in whether or not someone lives to see another day. Needless to say, he is well aware of his limitations along with what he can and cannot do. If there are fights in which he cannot win, he is going to fight to the best of is ability for as long as he possibly can; until he can no longer physically move. He is generally not one to step into another person's battle, allowing them to fight one another fairly until one can longer continue. However, when a fight seems to be taking a turn for the worse, he has no problem with stepping in to end it before things become worse in order to declare a winner. If the battle cannot be put to an end, then he will join said battle and forcibly put an end to it. As the son of Zeus, he is prone to fits of anger though most notably when his friends have been injured or have been attacked in some way, shape or form.

Brandon's level-headed nature is more than likely his most useful nature. The ability to stay calm under pressure is not an ability found in many. His calm demeanor, as a result of his training, allows him to ocme up with plans on the fly and adapt to the situations and positions that he finds himself in. Hand-in-hand with his level-headed nature would be his swordsmanship abilities. Being able to fight with a level head makes Brandon quite the opponent.

Believe it or not, Brandon's initial dream was to lead a peaceful life with mother away from all forms of danger and harm. Furthermore, he wants to provide the younger campers with an actual chance at enjoying life instead of spending their days fighting Grover's army for the sake of living another day.

First and foremost, Brandon enjoys playing sports. He'll practice to sharpen his skill but not because he enjoys the thrill of the fight. He fights in order to safeguard those around him and practices daily because the life they live is not one in which he can allow himself to slack off.

The most used of said ability is typically the ability to absorb and project the lightning from his hands or discharge from around his body. The course of the lightning bolt, like lightning generated by nature itself, does not always follow a straight line since it can be influenced by conducting substances like metal. As such, it is better when fired from a distance where a hit is assured. In a less offensive way, he is capable of releasing strong electrical shocks through others upon direct contact. The last of his manipulation involves limiting the electrical conductivity of the area around him so that if for instance he was to send a blast of lightning into the water while his friends were within it as well, he could avoid shocking greatly them while targeting his opponent. Much like his father, his lightning is deeply tied to his emotional state and fits of rage tend to make his lightning stronger, but less controllable. Likewise, when truly enraged, he tends to affect the area around him, bringing about small storms.
• Electroception: The ability to heighten his senses, by in a sense, extending his conscious around himself. Brandon is able to sense his surrounding environment by generating electric fields and detecting distortions in these fields using electroreceptor organs. This allows Brandon to detect non-living objects as well as living beings. As an added side effect of sorts, Brandon is able to sense when others utilize and call down lightning from the Heavens, describing the sensation as "feeling a charge." • Electro-Empowerment: By charging his body with electricity, Brandon is able to forcibly send electrical impulses in a straight line from his brain directly to his hands, feet, legs, and arms, completely bypassing the nervous system, which causes his physical speed and strength to bypass the standard limitations of the human body. It should be noted that while empowering himself, he cannot utilize his lightning in any other way until he stops charging his body with lightning and even after that, it'll take him a little while for him to get himself together in order to actually utilize the rest of his abilities. • Electrogenesis: Brandon can heal himself via electricity by absorbing electrons and using them to stimulate molecules, thus allowing him to revive and regenerate damaged cells. When in use, lightning can be seen sparking off around his body in a thin layer. Electricity can also provide energy to reduce fatigue, allowing optimal health, as well as restarting the heart and repairing slight brain damage via electroconvulsive therapy. • Electroportation: Brandon has learned to transport himself via electricity, by lightning or electronics. This is achieved by either riding the flow of electrons or becoming electricity itself for travel. He is also able to transport himself via electrons in the air, static discharges and electrical components. Similar to his father, Brandon has learned how to make lightning strike himself in order to transport his molecules from one point to another. • Electro-mimicry: The Zenith of Brandon's abilities. As Demigods they are part human and also part God. His Electro-mimicry capitalizes on the God side of his heritage and forcibly accesses all of his godly abilities at once. The result is the ability to completely transform his body into electricity. While transformed he is anatomically identical to his regular form. Due to the fact that in this form he is comprised solely of electricity, he is granted full control over his form and gains vast capacity to expel electricity in various ways. It should be noted that in this form he guided solely by impulse and not rational thinking. If he enters the form thinking only of taking down the opponent in front of him, then he will do just that and afterwards, it'll be as though he's lost purpose. • Electrical Immunity: As the son of the God of Lightning, Brandon has quite the resistance to lightning and electrical based attacks.
• Atomkinesis: As his father is the Supreme God of the Skies, Brandon is able to exude a degree of influence over the weather. This influence allows him to summon powerful storms and call down lightning from the sky itself as opposed to being generated directly by himself. Even in instances where there is no sky for a storm to be generated, Brandon can call upon the storm from another location and have it travel to his location, though obviously such a feat takes quite some time to accomplish.
• Aerokinesis: As the son of Zeus, Brandon is able to manipulate and control the air. He can control, and generate very powerful winds and air currents, enough to knock down objects in his path with limited resistance. Likewise, he is able to utilize the air currents for his own benefit allowing him to fly and afford others around him the same ability for a short amount of time.
• Zeus' Authority: Things that belong to his father's domain can do as he asks and with little to no resistance. These include and are not limited to gifts to his father or eagles, which are known to be a consistent symbol of his father.

• Swordsmanship Specialist: As a result of his training with both Athena and Heracles, Brandon has become something of a Jack of Trades. He has learned to how to effectively wield and utilize daggers, axes, lances, staffs, and even bows. Having said that, his true specialty lies within the use of swords. Brandon possesses a great degree of mastery in swordsmanship and his skills in swordsmanship are of a high caliber. His offensive capabilities mainly come from his swordplay through which he can employ a dual-wielding technique and even make use of a reverse-grip technique over his swords. Furthermore, he is also capable of employing swords effectively using his feet, by wielding their hilts between his hallux and second toe. His swordplay is strong enough to battle against the God of Strength for half-a-day before being beaten.
• [Inherited] Enhanced Sight: As the God of the Sky, Zeus has incredibly keen vision and his eagles are known to have great vision as well. As his son, Brandon is also afforded this enhanced sight as well. He can see up to fifty feet away from his position at all times. Such an ability grants him thirty extra feet of sight in comparison to those with twenty/twenty vision. Furthermore, he is able to mentally zoom in on whatever he's viewing simply by willing it to happen.
• [Inherited] Enhanced Strength: All Demigods are stronger than the average human regardless of their parentage. However, his parentage grants him something of an enhanced level in comparison to the norm. While not known for it, his father Zeus is also considered to be a God of Strength and one that gave birth to and surrounds himself with Gods known entirely for their strength. Such gods like Hercules, hailed as the Strongest Olympian, and Kratos the God of strength, might, power and sovereign rule, and one of the guardians of Zeus's golden throne. Due to this, Brandon possesses physical strength superior to the average demigod, putting him somewhere near the children of Ares and Mars in terms of physical strength.
• Enhanced Stamina: All Demigods are known to have an enhanced stamina as a result of their godly heritage and respective training, but Brandon's training differed from that of a regular Demigod's training. Having been worked to the bone over and over again by Heracles for a span of four consistent years, Brandon's stamina is above the average demigod's. It is for this reason that Brandon can often be seen throwing around more of his father's abilities without the need to consistently stop and rest.
• High Pain Tolerance: Brandon possesses a pain tolerance unlike many of those around him. Where the pain they've felt is typically because of a wound sustained during a game of Capture the Flag, Brandon's wounds have been much worse. He's had several of his ribs broken by Ares as punishment, has battled a giant despite sustaining grave injuries, and has been beaten on by his elder brother Heracles as a means of training and simply because "he felt like doing so."
• Multilingual: Brandon can currently speak and fluently understand both English and Spanish without a problem. In times of anger or stress he tends to blur the lines between the two languages, producing varying degrees of Spanglish. Thanks to his godly heritage he also understands Greek but isn't exactly fluent in reading it or speaking it.

• Mid to Long-Range Combat: For as skilled as he may be and seem, mid-range and long-range combat are not favored or preferred by Brandon. As a close quarter combat fighter, his area attack lies within the opponent's personal space. If he cannot close the distance between him and his opponents he is immediately put at a disadvantage and an opponent that can keep him at a distance is truly a feared one.
• His Friends: Anyone that knows Brandon well enough knows that a major weakness would be his friends. Athena tried teaching him how to put his emotions second and his job first, but he can't do it. Even in the midst of an important battle, if a friend were to fall, he'd immediately rush to their side with no care for how it affected the battle.
• Electrogenesis: The ability to heal would seem like an ability without a weakness, but his ability is riddled with them. If he is moved or forced to stop at any time when the process begins, he runs the risk of actually electrocuting himself or aging faster because the acceleration of the molecules would not stop if left unchecked. Likewise, if he is unable to focus on controlling the electrons, he could die from electrocution from within. Furthermore, such an ability cannot be used repeatedly within the same time frame. It should also be noted that it's far easier for him to heal himself rather than others. Manipulating the electrons of another being in order to correctly heal an injury is an arduous task and a slight mistake can cause an overload and potentially kill the person he's attempting to heal.
• Electroportation: While traveling as a lightning bolt, Brandon is unable to control the speed at which he moves, and as such cannot stop until he reaches his intended destination. Having said that, if one were to run in front him, he'd run through them without being able to stop. However, the true weakness of this ability comes via his teleportation. For starters, Brandon can only teleport to places he's already been to before and not without causing damage to the area around him. As he his traveling via a lightning bolt, the area around him is always struck, causing damage to those who are standing to close to the lightning's strike zone. Furthermore, when teleporting others, physical contact is required at all times. If contact his broken while teleporting, the individual is at risk of having their electrons scattered along the winds, being fried by the power of the lightning bolt itself, or being teleported inside of a whole object [i.e - a wall]. As it stands, Brandon can only teleport twice successfully. Afterwards, every teleportation is a risk to not only his safety but the safety of those around him.
• Electro-mimicry: First and foremost, it should be noted that in order to even think about accessing this form, Brandon must be able to absorb a large amount of electricity from a power source. In order for his body to handle the power needed to utilize his ability, his powers evolve him beyond the boundaries of humanity. In the process he loses himself and forgets that the longer he stays in said form, the worse it will be for him in the end. Subconsciously he knows that he'll need to change back but consciously he's forgotten that he should. Eventually, he returns to normal when he runs out of the minimum amount of energy needed to sustain his form. The most obvious of his weaknesses in this form would be water. Even the smallest droplet of water will negative discharge against his form and large quantities of it will result in an explosion of the energy around him, thus knocking him out of his form and unconscious entirely. Finally, as the Zenith of Brandon's Electrokinetic abilities, after using this ability he is immediately placed into a coma until his body can heal internally from the damage done by having his body converted solely into electricity.
• Water: Water and Electricity typically don't mix and as a Demigod that relies heavily on his abilities at times, water can be the biggest detriment of his life. When splashed with water, doused in water, or whatever have you, Brandon is essentially reliant solely on whatever physical abilities he can bring to the table in order to save his life. While he can limit the conductivity of his lightning, it's extremely hard to do so in the heat of battle while trying not to fry himself. Having said that, the rain is typically not a condition he does well in.
• Arachnaphobia: The fear of spiders. Some people deal with spiders by throwing shoes at them or just squishing them altogether. Well, Brandon goes a bit further than that and a lot more electrical. It wouldn't be wrong to classify this fear as slightly irrational since if Brandon believes that a spider can be found in a certain location, he will not go to said location until it's proven that there are no spiders. If he were to come across a spider in the heat of battle, he'd devote his efforts to eviscerating the spider or he'd freeze up entirely [depending on the size].

Personal Loyalty Brandon's fatal flaw, though detrimental for a child of the Big Three to have, would be his desire to do anything and everything in order to save a friend. If this meant burning the world down and starting over from the very beginning, then he would do so without hesitation. If one were to ask Brandon for help, then he'd accept without hesitation. However, unlike most who help until they decide it cannot be done, Brandon continues on. He has a hard time simply stopping or accepting that it "can't be done." As such, if he isn't stopped, Brandon will try to help even if it ends up killing him in the process.

To be born a Demigod means to forfeit a normal life and if he had the choice, he never would have picked it. But, that's neither here nor there. The story of Brandon Larracuente begins with his mother Gabriella. Gabriella was born into a lower class family that barely made ends meet daily. So, tired of her unchanging life, she decided that she would be the change she had long been searching for. After leaving her mother and father, she moved in with her grandparents and began her new life. This however did not mean that things got any better. Times with her grandparents were even harder than before as social security could only do so much for them. So, at age eighteen, his mother got a job as a stripper at their local club. Money began to pour into the household faster than ever thanks to Gabriella forgoing the very notion of college, but the degradation of her character increased as well. Needless to say that the degradation continued to the point that she no longer saw a future for herself.
Fortunately for her and unfortunately for her family, Zeus happened to find his way to the club where she worked in an effort to get away from Hera and her insistent nagging. Having become infatuated with the sight of her, Zeus immediately made advances to have her and since he was a God and she was a mortal, there was no resisting his charm. A night of stress relief ensued for Zeus but for Gabriella, it was a chance to possibly gain a higher status by getting on the suited male's good side. Sadly, happy endings in the real world don't happen often. Zeus was gone when she awoke and three months later she learned that she was pregnant. It didn't take long for Hera to discover the presence of the unborn child and in doing so, her wrath against Gabriella and her family knew no bounds.
One day, upon returning home from working as a manager, at the strip club thanks to her pregnancy, she found her grandparents dead in their chairs holding pictures of Gabriella with her eyes cut out of the photos. Fearing for her life, she called the police and her parents but her parents never answered. Eventually they turned up dead in the same manner in which her grandparents had. She was placed into protective services as the police believed she was being targeted by an attacker. Zeus, having discovered that his unborn child was within a woman whom he had only slept with as a means of stress relief, he re-appeared to the young woman in order to bring her out of witness protection. She was set up in a new home, given a large portion of money and all provided by Zeus under the guise of an inheritance from her late grandparents. Zeus remained close by, or as close by as possible, in order to make sure his wife would do no direct harm to his child until the moment he was born. When he was born, the hospital itself seemed to have gone quiet. There were no sounds of patients, or nurses, or even janitors moving through the halls. Nothing but silence and in this silence, Hera. The Goddess of Motherhood took him from the nursery he had been placed into and was fully prepared to kill him, only to stop and hesitate. In her arms Brandon remained total conscious, never crying once, almost as if he knew exactly what was going on. The blue eyes she saw were the same eyes that belonged to her husband and knowing of the rage she'd invoke after taking Brandon's life, she placed him back down and left, returning the hospital to normal as she departed and did not appear again until his tenth birthday.
While playing in the park, Hera approached Brandon and bid him to sit with her on the bench. Together they watched the other children play and as they did so, she began to explain the world to him; Who he was, what his lineage was, how his existence angered her to no end, and most importantly, how his father could have been shooting out more kids as they spoke. She told him of the world that he was only just beginning to understand and also informed him of the creatures that hid amongst humans without them ever knowing. Eventually his mother returned to his side but when he tried to introduce her to Hera, she had departed, leaving him a small peacock feather to remember her by. As he grew older the world around him began to change, showing it's true colors in ways that Brandon never could have imagined. The most apparent of these changes was the Greek language which he now knew and fully understood. With each passing day he grew more and more interested in not only the language, but the culture. His culture. In seeing this, Zeus paid his son a visit while Brandon stared at a statue of Zeus within the Natural History Museum. The two males spent the day together and when they returned to Brandon's home, both his mother and Hera were sitting in the living room discussion Brandon's future. Zeus's face lit up with rage at the sight of his wife whereas her face lit up with gleeful delight. His mother, who at one point, had been fully in love with Zeus, threw herself at him before moving to hug her son. Together, they all sat down and began to plan out Brandon's future, with Hera and Zeus at the forefront of it all. Eventually Zeus decided to play the "father card" and decided that he would know what was best for his son. When his mother actually tried to get a word in edge wise, Hera promptly put her to sleep before taking Brandon with her, leaving an extremely angry Zeus to deal with Brandon's mother.
He was taken to a penthouse owned by Hera and once there he came face to face with the Goddess of Warfare Strategies, Athena. Hera had decided that she was to be his tutor in order to prepare him for the future and his lessons began immediately. He was allowed to keep contact with his mother via written letters, per Athena's request, and was also allowed to see her on Sunday before returning to his studies. Athena's training revolved solely around the mind and he was left alone in the library of the penthouse, tasked with reading each book on warfare that was there. Brandon read books detailing the Battle of Marathon, the Battle of Salamis, the Battle of Thermopylae, the Battle of Chaeronea, the Battle of Troy, and even a written account made by Athena detailing the Demigod Civil War in 1864. After this, he was subjected to various chess games, each one having different rules and restrictions placed on them in order to truly get him to think of any possibility that could allow him a sliver of a chance at victory. Such methods continued until the day of his fourteenth birthday. On that day, Zeus arrived to take him and give unto his son his own personal training and by his side was the greatest of all his sons. Heracles.
Against Athena's wishes, Brandon was taken by Zeus and Heracles to the deep woods of Pennsylvania. Not long after arriving Zeus departed, leaving only Heracles to tend to his little brother's training. Most would have liked a free vacation to the woods, but this vacation was filled with nothing but blood, sweat, and tears. Heracles, finisher of 13 labors, held nothing back against Brandon. The Olympian believed that unless Brandon endured at least some semblance of his thirteen labors, he'd never survive when monsters truly came for him. Heracles believed that the Demigods of the current era were devoid of any real challenges or motivation to truly defend themselves even at the risk of killing another. So to this Heracles devised his own thirteen labors for Brandon to complete in their time together and the first of these labors was survival. Armed with a rusty sword and only the clothes he worse on his back, the fifteen year old was sent out further into the woods to live and survive alone. The time limit was to be two months and when it ended, Heracles promised to return for Brandon. In the beginning of his first labor Brandon adapted fairly well but when week three passed without any change, his mind began to think of every worst case scenario? What if Heracles never came back for him? What if he had forgotten about him? What if one of the monsters he spoke of actually came for him? True to his fears, a monster did attack. A lone Giant had been traversing the woods in search of food and came upon Brandon instead. Riddled with fear, Brandon tried to outrun the monster but when it became painfully obvious that he would not survive simply by running, he turned to fight the monster. His lessons with Athena taught him to use his surroundings to his advantage and as he weaved about through the trees, he only ever exited them to slash a different part of the giant's body each time, until finally the monster fell to the ground in pain. A slow, pain-filled climb up a tree came next and after leaping from the tree, Brandon brought his sword down against the monster's head, impaling it as he did so. Together they fell towards the ground, though Brandon was flung against a tree and blacked out.
When he awoke, he was lying near a fire with Heracles at his side. The elder Olympian had expressed his joy at watching Brandon take on the giant before explaining the rest of his labors. Each labor got harder and harder and many made Brandon wish that something would kill him during the labors. However, the truly notable of the labors came during the 7th, 12th, and 13th labors. The sixth labor was to find a way to steal one of Aphrodite's pearls from her necklace without her discovering that it was gone. For weeks he had practice thievery, often taking items from Heracles without the male noticing before trying his hand at the Goddess of Love's belongings. His first attempt at stealing her pearls was met with not only failure but an attack from Ares that broke a few of his ribs. When he tried again, he had enlisted the help of Hermes, who had been watching his failed attempts at stealing Aphrodite's belongings. Together the two managed to switch one of the pearls at the back of her necklace with a shiny rock thus completing his sixth labor. His twelfth labor involved Hermes once again, though he was supposed to beat the Messenger God in a foot race. Knowing that there was no way in frozen hell for him to beat Hermes fairly, Brandon cheated. He knew the forest path that they were to race on and had set up a series of traps and tricks in order to slow Hermes down. Most of his traps failed simply because there was no way to get them to spring fast enough for them to actually catch Hermes, but the last of his traps was Heracles and given that the God of Strength had close lined Hermes before he could react, Brandon ended up winning his race and completing his twelfth labor. His thirteenth and final labor was to fight against Heracles himself for a day and a half and not be knocked out or defeated. The fight broke a lot of his bones but he managed to last until the time limit ended. By the time his labors had ended, he had turned seventeen years old.
He was brought back to his mother in the city and she had cried simply because she had missed her son's childhood and teenage years all because the Gods had decided so. Sadly, their time was cut short. Due to how strong both he and his powers had gotten over the years, he had become a beacon for monsters across the city and the only way to safeguard his mother would be to head for a Camp meant specifically for his kind. Camp Half-Blood. The trip was a fairly quick one as his mother insisted on driving him as close as she possibly could before kissing him goodbye. Through the woods he went and into camp boundaries he crossed. The change was quick as he adapted to living with and near other kids who were in the same position as him. His lineage as a child of the Big Three was made known almost immediately and the cabin he kept to himself was something of a luxury. Needless to say life went on for him undisturbed. That is to say, until Grover and his army attacked.

Before the attack came, he had received an urgent message from Hermes. The Messenger God spoke of how Zeus needed his son for something but before the message could be fully delivered, Hermes was summoned back to Olympus in a flash of light. Knowing that something dire was to come, Brandon though to warn the others of his camp, but it was too late. The attack had come and they were in the center of it all. Evacuation of the camp and their younger members began immediately as Brandon joined some of the older members of the camp on the front line to, at the very least, buy some time for the others to escape. As the son of the King of the Gods, there were some who looked up to him for guidance and so he took them the small group with him and went to war. Together with his small group of campers, they managed to push back slightly against one side of Grover's army but everything changed when some of the people he was fighting alongside suddenly switched to Grover's side and began attacking them. Angered by their betrayal but moreso by Grover's plan to turn their own friends against them, Brandon became enraged and with his rage came the storm.
Lightning thundered through the clouds above as they grew darker before striking down towards the enemies before him. One by one the members of his small group began to be cut down before his eyes and no matter how much lightning he called down or how hard he pushed himself, he could not save them. Finally, when only he and his friend Clark remained, the male made a decision to save Brandon's life so that he could fight again at a later date. Exhausted from having utilized so much energy, Brandon fell to the ground and would have been killed immediately had Clark not thrown himself in the way of a rain of arrows that were aimed at him. As Clark bled out in his arms, the son of Hermes continued to try and push Brandon away from the fight. Despite how tired he was, Brandon managed to carry Clark to safety behind a grouping of trees. There his best friend died in his arms slowly and in pain. When he was gone Brandon prepared to run at the army in order to try and avenge his friend immediately only to be stopped by the son of Apollo, Atlan. The male had been looking for stragglers in order to save as many as possible and happened upon the suicidal Brandon. Together the two managed to rejoin the fleeing campers in order to live to fight another day.
With the resolve to live in order to keep his promise to Clark and fight again another day, he did his best to safeguard the campers until they met up with the children of Camp Jupiter. Together in the center of America, they made their stand and eventually Grover's army pulled back and retreated. His nineteenth arrived with their founding of a joint camp but his age only gave him one job. Protect his fellow campers at all cost. He would allow no others to die on his watch and would never lose another friend to Grover and his armies again.

• Zeus | Father | Could Be Worse When you're the child of one of the Big Three it is generally understood that your parental figure will not be there at every waking moment of your life or even every other substantial moment of your life. However, since Zeus has been an influential part of his life regardless of whether he wanted to be or not, Brandon has no qualms with his father. In fact, he's happy and thankful that the male was there for his mother during her times of need. His father even attempted to warn Brandon of Grover's attack, albeit in vain. Despite the fact that he is a God, Brandon worries for his father's safety during these dark times.
• Hera | Aunt | It's Complicated Looking past the fact that she tried to kill him just moments after he was born, he's done his best to never anger her purposefully. In fact, where many Demigod children pray to their parents for help, he often speaks to Hera. Together they complain about his father's tendencies and his choice in women. Of course this leads to her criticizing his taste in Brandon's mother, but seeing as she is a Goddess, he does his best to not let the annoyance show on his face.
• Heracles | Older Half-Brother | Friends Heracles is his older brother and boy does he act like an older sibling. If the elder Olympian isn't picking on him for how much weaker he is in comparison, the male is poking fun at his inability to pick up his war axe. The two are extremely to one another as siblings and as children of Zeus, though Heracles cannot understand how Brandon stands to be in the same area as Hera after all that she's done.
• Athena | Older Half-Sister | Mentor Training with Athena would seem like a blessing to most, but at times it was curse. There was no way that Brandon would ever be as smart or as precise in his movements and actions when compared to the Goddess of Warfare Strategies or her children. But yet and still, Athena pushed him to try and glimpse the knowledge that she and her children held within them. Her training sessions were long and tiring at times bore no successful fruit. Still, she would not let him slide by on simply accepting that he could not do something and for that he is forever grateful. The Goddess of Warfare Strategies and he trusts her word over all others when it comes to fights.

• Clark Smith | Nephew | Deceased Best Friend Clark Smith was the son of Hermes, and the first and best friend Brandon made when he arrived at Camp Half-Blood. Clark looked at Brandon, not as the son of Zeus, but as Brandon Larracuente, a boy who shared the same fate as him. Clark was as nice as they came and possibly to nice for his own good. True to his parentage, he was also a bit of a trickster but his pranks never intended to harm and only ever brought about laughter. His death via saving Brandon's life hit hard but Brandon remains confident that his best friend rests peacefully in Elysium.
• Atlan Barr | Nephew | Good Friends This ray of sunshine is, without a doubt, one of the only reasons Brandon is still alive to this day. The male not only stopped him from running off into battle in a fit of rage, but also managed to calm him down enough to think rationally and help assist with moving and safeguarding the younger campers. Following that, the male helped to heal the most severe of Brandon's injuries in order to get him back on his feet.
• Marisa Marques da Silveira Pombal | Cousin | Friends This ray of clumsy goodness probably wouldn't have been Brandon's friend had she not literally run him over while evading some of their Roman companions. He didn't really care for what she did but the Romans who were chasing her down looked as though she had spit in their mother's faces so he stepped in to defend her. Needless to say, fighting the child of Zeus and Poseidon was not on their agenda so they retreated. Since then he's considered her to be a good friend of his and often worries about whether or not her light personality will be able to adapt to the new life she's going to have to fight for.

• Aphrodite | Older Half-Sister | Not On Speaking Terms As part of his Thirteen Labors he was forced to steal a pearl from Aphrodite's most prized necklace. He enlisted the help of Hermes in order to do so and together they managed to snag her pearl and replace it with a rock. Needless to say when Aphrodite found out what her brothers had done, she cursed him to love only bugs for two weeks and those were the hardest weeks of his life because not only did he love them, but he also tried to kiss a few of them. It's safe to say that they aren't on the best of terms.
• Grover Underwood | Marked For Death It goes without saying that Brandon holds a deep hatred for Grover and his army. He doesn't know the reason why Grover decided to suddenly attack them all and ruin their lives and to be honest, he doesn't care at all. What he does know is that Grover and his armies took the lives of his best friend and and a number of campers that he had grown close to over his time at camp. Nothing would bring him greater joy than to run a lightning bolt directly through the Satyr's heart.
