Hikaru Akumu Hi. Hika/Hikaru for those shy and preferring internet names. RL name is Nina. I don't mind being called either. Got the invite, figured why not. Apparently you found my counter part, Victorian Clockwork (ie Haku). we're good friends yes and our characters tend to be in league against one another more times than not but have tremendous fun nonetheless. I play an array of characters with an array of genres as well as posting styles. I've done the short lived poetry style with a lot of posting style editing done to simple walk in bar roleplay. I guess I'm literate, although I've been AFK from the world for awhile now - but apparently I still have a fair knack for it. Just give me something juicy and I'll return the favor with excellent spices and wine to go with it. Anything else you know, please feel free to inquire. Homaigawshitisyou. hello, and thanks for the invitation~
the name's stella, and i've been roleplaying since i joined gaia... which is about five, six years ago? yeah.
i've just gotten back into roleplaying again, though, since i was pretty busy last semester.
hopefully, i'll be able to write more this semester.
i almost exclusively play males.
it's somehow turned out like that since a few years ago.
probably because i'm a yaoi fangirl. = v=;;
my characters... are pretty varied. sort of.
i'm aspiring to be an author (somedayyyyyy), so i figured it would be good if i can portray all sorts of personalities.
still a long way to go, though.
i enjoy most themes except sci-fi.
it's not that i don't like the genre; it's just that i find it hard to "build" a sci-fi universe, so i rarely join such roleplays.
oh, and, depending on the era, i might avoid historical roleplays.
i tend to be some sort of a perfectionist with the facts and details, so yeah. i'll take forever to post because i'll be drowning in data.
but, eh, with the right plot and characters, you can probably get me to join anything. =w=
i'm online pretty much every day. o 3o
i might not post much, though, since i'm more of a lurker.
but i am always watching. ALWAYS.

as a side note, i'm majoring in japanese literature, so i might get pretty nitpicky about roleplays with japanese themes / elements.

Salutations.
My username is CrookedBridges. My real name is Marty, so I'd prefer it if you called my either my name, or CrookedBridges. I can't think of any good nicknames for myself. Haha. Oh, and I'm a chick, by the way. MARTY is a girl's name too, so ha. (Although honestly, my name would have been Marti but my mother didn't want me to dot the "i" with a heart like some girly-girl.)
I made this account a few days ago but I am fairly familiar with Gaia. I think I made my first account in either '05 or '06. Either way, I wasn't old enough to have an account on here, but that didn't matter (or stopped me, hehe). Anyways, I've come to the ripe old age of 18, with my birthday being the 13th of May. As soon as I got my account on Gaia, I was immediately interested in Barton Town and got addicted to roleplays. However, over the past few years I've found myself away from Gaia as I tried to work on my studies so that I could get good grades in my final years of highschool. Now, I'm an Art College student in Alberta, Canada. Fun times, fun times.
I can write for both genders, but I find myself swinging towards playing males because females can be seen in a bad light. As for my favourite genre, I prefer hardcore fantasy, which is wonderful, when done well. I'm an avid Dungeons & Dragons gamer, however I find myself more interested in character development than just basic Hack n' Slash.
I do sometimes swing towards a more mature form of literature, which kind of sucks because Gaia doesn't allow adult content. And no, I don't mean just plain old.... you know. I like small sized roleplays, as in, with a limited amount of people that are allowed to join. This is simply because when there are too many people roleplays start to die because people don't notice that other people have posted and people get blocked out. Not fun for me. Smaller sized roleplays also allow for more interaction as there isn't mass confusion.
I don't particularly like fandom roleplays, as I feel as if I am using someone else's character and it kind of makes me feel like a thief. I generally won't join fandom roleplays unless I'm really craving one and I find an interesting one with good roleplayers in it.
I enjoy being a part of Semi-Lit to Literate roleplays. Semi-Lit is a good neutral zone for me, as it doesn't take long for me to get out a post. Literate roleplays take more thought and time, but can be very fulfilling if I'm in the mood for writing. I like roleplayers that write about the same length as me, as it gives me something good to read and something I can actually use to respond to. Someone who posts more than me might find that I tend to try to out-write them as far as word count goes on the next response (competitive nature, I suppose), and people who post less than me find that I don't give them very good responses (If you don't give me something to go off of, don't expect me to serenade you).
Anyways, I'm happy to find a guild that seems to have a great deal of roleplayers, and I'm glad to be here. Nice to meet you all!

or at least when i'm interacting in the REAL world)
so
heh
i'll keep this simple!
the name's lily, but you can call me mew as a variation of my username
i'm alright with mewk too, i guess, though i'd prefer mew because that's my fave pokémon
by now, i'm pretty sure you've worked out how i came up with my username
i usually don't join roleplaying guilds, but your invitation attracted me
so i'll join, and see where this will take me
(hopefully somewhere glorious, like cat heaven because for one i love cats)
and just a fun fact, the last roleplaying guild i joined was banned,
because some people apparently went too far past the PG13 LINE
and also some people had their accounts banned but i was safe because i stayed far away from whatever they were doing.
honestly, i had no clue what had happened until someone explained to me
but anyway, i look forward to the experiences this guild has to offer
and
uh
i'll do my best to help out!

I'm not going to share much about the me outside of Gaia and roleplaying but only the following nyaa~:

Okay nyaa~ Now regarding me and roleplaying nyaa~ I'm a semi-lit to literate roleplayer. I'm someone whom likes to experience many and new things regarding roleplaying except several ones nyaa... Which I will not mention here nyaa!!!!
Anyway, I specialize doing antagonistic roles (as actually, my first character was quite one) and the genres I like the most would be fantasy, supernatural, comedy, action, romance and slice of life nyaa nyaa~
I'm slightly picky about certain things but would usually go with the flow nyaa~ Continuing on, roleplays based on something (like anime, games and etc.) are acceptable for me but how it was done and how much I know about the thing based on the roleplay would be the things that would affect whether I'll join or not.
Lastly, I think you guys already noticed my constant nyaa-ing, yes? That would be because it's a habit nyaa~
So that's everything I wanted to say nyaa~ If you want some further relevant information , feel free to ask me nyaa~

Hello guys~
Well, My name's nancy, I've been playing roleplay for... actually, I was first introduced to it on a guild called "The dark black one winged wings" about 3 years ago. I got to play there with close friends only and.. there's a bunch of godmod (but I have no idea what the hell was that just yet) I start playing it for real since a few months ago. I prefer a semi-lit although i myself often end up with 3-9 paragraph myself. or a lit RP but without the owner sounds so strict... activity, respect, and all is fine, but I don't want to be shouted in my inbox... Other than that.. I still sometimes switched between past tense and present tense... well.. That's the one of many reason i Roleplay, is to train my english. English isn't my first language, but I'm considerably good with it~
I have a few mind-set of characters
2-3 brothers (Kurotsuki - Mugen/Iruzi) for a brotherhood/organisation/school-clique/rebellion RP
father-daughter/son (Erie - Nell/Zell/Mell{yes, they're triplets, cuz twins are pretty mainstream} ) for a family/kingdom/court-life/daily-life/magical/fantasy RP
Master-student (Sara - Nell) magic/school-life/dragon/etc~
well.. I'm pretty flexible too~ i had make some one time used Characters too~ I particularly like a dark and dramatic kind of roleplay but with a pretty simple back ground. I mean a simple story but'll get more complicated as it develops~ I mean.. I like a flexible roleplay without a real script or something -,- uh... trouble with explaining, this shall explain of why i told things in detail and resulted in more than 5 paragraphs... sweatdrop
well, I hope i'd make a good member~ biggrin Wish to roleplay with y'all~

So, I'm sitting here, prepared to write the most awesome introduction
anyone has ever seen and the fire alarm goes off. Of all things? I just
awesomely burnt the goodness out of my waffles instead. gonk Already,

If you're curious, I was given "Corinne" ( Co - ryn ) as a username
through this game of life. Eh, it isn't special and certainly isn't decked
out with special abilities, but it suits me, I think. I'm currently twenty-one
waiting for the plus one in October. Yup, that makes me a Scorpio!~ BUT!
I'm actually a cusp baby, so I'm part crazy, part Libra. I'm a Sclibrio! 4laugh
Lets see, I've been roleplaying since I was ten, starting out on Neopets like
a champ. I finally found Gaia roughly three years ago and haven't found
myself wanting to return to Neopia. Uhm, so I was actually invited to this
guild, don't know who by but thank you! Glad I was able to catch your eye.
Now, my roleplaying genres are fairly broad, I'd like to think. My favorite,
however? The darker supernatural roles: vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc..
I don't roleplay sparkly little #%@!, nor do I play out instamance just for the
heck of filling space. I only have experience with heterosexual relationships
and a variety of good, neutral, and bad types of characters. More so, recently,
have I been dabbling in my villains though.
If no one stops me, I'll just keep rambling... so, I guess this is where I'll
draw the line! sweatdrop I pray I answered every question and noted every detail,
but if not, I'm always willing to open up and chat.
