//hey, probably no net access this weekend. I'll definately be back monday though.//

User ImageAfter a short distance, Reaper came upon an alley where then fuss seemed to be comming from. Fortunately or unfortunately, it was in the same path he had been planning on taking. Now that he was closer, he could hear mens voices comming from the alley too. Judging from the panic in the woman's voice, there wasn't much room to wonder what was going on. As he walked, he found a small group of what looked like rocker wanna-be's that had cornered a young woman. He noticed that one of them had her purse, but he really didn't want to bother to know why they were still there...nor did he need to bother with trash.
As he passed, one of them noticed him and began to stupidly run his mouth. From the sound of it, these boys weren't in the right state of mind at the moment either. He wasn't surprised, and he didn't bother, simply kept walking.
Then he heard one of them say something, and felt something smack him in the back of his head. He heard glass hit pavement and glanced down to find a large empty vadca bottle on the ground.
"Congradulations. I believe that count's as assault..." he said, slowly turning around to face them. "So I believe this would count as self defense." he continued, pulling his scythe from his robes.
Two of the men kept the girl pinned against the wall while the rest pulled out knives and turned towards him. Idiots, like that was going to do much. Like using a butter knife against a sword. Whatever. He needed to relieve some steam...he'd take all of them.
Unfortunatly dealing with humans always ended faster than the Reaper liked. It took only one swing to relieve them all of their weapons...and arms as well. He sent a flicker of fire at each of their amputated limbs, and with all of the alcohol in their blood, well they didn't feel anything after the first few agonizing second. Nor was their much left of them. One man attempted to run, while the other brought his blade out. The woman tried to fight back since there was only one now, but he turned his blade on her.
The Reaper sent his shadow out towards the fleeing man, latching onto his and causing him to fall through his own shadow. The Reaper then opened a shadow on the wall to allow the man...what was left of him, to fall out and onto the pavement. One swift swing took care of the last man, and he fell to the ground in two.
Reaper glanced around and sighed a moment. Well, that was mildly satisfying...best to not let fresh blood go to waste. There wasn't much he could do about the decentigrating corpses, but the other two he could drain. And he did. By simply touching them, he absorbed every ounce of blood from each piece that was left, and that on the ground. He stood and glanced down at the woman, who was still clinging to life dispite her serious wounds to the neck and abdomen. She'd be dead from blood loss in a moment or so.
He stared at her, then made his way towards her. She noticed him comming, and made a small attempt to crawl away...though she moved only an inch or two. He stoped beside her and stared down at her, thinking. When it looked like any strenght she had left was gone, he bent down and took hold of her neck. After a few seconds, she took a long and loud gasp for air. He pulled his hand back and her neck was fine. He wouldn't bother with her stomach. She had enough blood now that she could stumble out for help. "I suggest taking a class or two if you insist on taking shortcuts through dark alleys home." he said as he stood and turned to continue on his way.

Hosk lost track of the small heat signature due to how easily it could be lost among all the interference of the city. Hosk needed prey then he needed to refuel his mask's atmosphere canisters. Hosk checked the gauge for them on his wrist panel and found oddly that they had been out for quite a long time. Hosk had something to test before his search continued. Hosk reached under his mask and pulled the tubing, nothing came out this time. Usually when his kind removed their atmosphere tubing, the gases used to simulate his home world's atmosphere spewed out, but the gauge was empty. Oddly enough, Hosk could breath fine in this world without reason why. Hosk smiled his wicked Yautja smile and removed his mask completely. As Hosk stood on top of a building, he stood at full height with his mask in hand. Breathing in deeply and roared, one that could be heard throughout Gotham; the hunter had no restrictions.

Hosk placed back on his mask back on, knowing he would need it to track prey and to achieve his greatest hunt or maybe even several due to this new development. Hosk scanned as much of the area as he could look for a potential hot spot for trophies. One spot looked interesting; a warehouse was a bit away and had potential to house some interesting humans for prey. The heat signature was a bit faulty this far away, but it as there and Hosk could see some minor movement. Hosk jumped down and started to made a slow starting run forward towards the warehouse; for all he knew, the hunt was on.

((Exit to Warehouse.))

[Enter Ventriloquist from Arkham Asylum]

The Ventriloquist walked onto the scene of a blood-red skeleton covered in a matching cloak wielding a massive scythe. Arnold Wesker gulped, and half a second later, Scarface looked at Wesker and said, "You little wimp! I can't take ya ANYWHERE, can I?" Scarface then faced the skeleton, asking him, "Who the gloody Hell are ya and what're ya doing in my city?"

Reaper paused and glanced at the newcomer. Interesting...
"I'm the Reaper." he replied simply. "For the moment, I'm merely passing through."
His little stress reliever wasn't much, and didn't last long, but it had worked enough that felt calmer than before.

Scarface seemed to nod at the information. "I'm Scarface. The dummy's known as the Ventriloquist. Freakin' idiot's more like it..."

Wesker said to Scarface, "That's a rude thing to say in front of our new aquaintance..."

Scarface turned to Wesker again and replied, "Ask me if I give a good God-damn..." The dummy's tone of voice dropped a little when he continued with, "Go ahead, ask me..."

Wesker said, "Um, okay, do you give a goo-"

"NO! Now shut up!" Apparently satisfied with what was said, the gangster dummy turned back to the Reaper. "Now, as I was saying gefore you and I were so RUDELY interrupted, what're you doing here?"

EDIT:

Reaper couldn't help but grin a bit. With everything he'd seen, he'd never seen anything like this before. "I'm not from around here. I came to explore a bit and see what all I can get into. Now that there's not much happening now, I thought I'd move onto the next city." he replied to the puppet, since he was clearly the one in charge. Amusing.

The puppet's head tilted forward, almost making it look like he was smiling happily, or angrily, or sadistically, it was impossible to tell from Reaper's angle. "Nothin's happenin'... gecause I just groke out of tha joint a moment ago! Gimme a moment ta get Moose down here. Even without her, I should be able ta start makin' some waves in this city again!" He looked at Wesker. "Hey, rocks-for-grains! When we get gack to tha hideout, contact the gang; Scarface is gack in gusiness!" The dummy looked back at Reaper before Wesker responded.

When he did, all Wesker said was "Yes, sir," looking crestfallen. It almost looked as if he didn't want to do it. Scarface wasn't looking though, so apparently he therefore didn't care.

"When we get gusiness movin' again, you should come back; I'll show ya a good time in this here city!"

"I'll keep that in mind" Reaper replied with a small smile.
He glanced back at the human a moment. "Quite an interesting pare you two are. Have you been working together long?" he asked out of interest, directed more towards the human.

Wesker looked up, almost looking happier, and was about to say something when Scarface looked at Reaper, murder showing through his eyes, SOMEHOW. The puppet said, "HEY! WHAT THA HELL DO YA THINK YER DOIN'?! DON'T TALK TO THA DUMMY! TALK TA ME!"

Wesker looked down again, crestfallen, and looking like he was slowly sinking towards complete withdrawl.

{Enter from Daily Bugle}

Kara sped over the streets of Gotham, looking for any members of the Bat-family... or bat-themed vehicles. Those would work, too. Unfortunately, she didn't have much time; if her passenger woke up in mid air, he would almost certainly injure himself before she could knock him out again. Plus, the clock on his sanity was ticking. She had to find... Wait... is that Wayne Manor? With an upsurge of relief, she saw that the enormous mansion had appeared at long last in whatever world they were in. She couldn't remember exactly where the entrance was supposed to be, but that wasn't anything that a little x-ray vision-- What the hell? Has he plaited everything with lead?--make that super-hearing couldn't fix. Within seconds, she was slipping through one of the secret entrances and flying toward the sanctum of the Batman.

"Found her."

One of the soldiers pointed at a monitor that was beeping. One of the scanners hidden around Gotham was activated. These were the same scanners used to track Rhino earlier and there were going to be used to track other beings within the city. The sensors picked up numerous individuals and even an oddity; some kind of monster garbed liked a tribesman with high tech weapons. That was one of the oddities recorded for the Commissar when he returned. The Eastern Bloc of Gotham long awaited the day when their lord Commissar would give them word to act since he disappeared so long ago and now his plans were coming to action. Capturing Rhino was only step one on the agenda, next was to locate the lair of Batman to do away with any threats to Gotham Eastern Bloc.

"Good, what direction?"

During the time Commissar was away in the other universe, he had left Gotham Eastern Bloc with a present; the Commissar Drone. This robot looked exactly like the Commissar, but was slow and wasn't made for battle; just a tactical unit. The Commissar Drone acted as the leader of Gotham Eastern Bloc in the Commissar's absence, so he was in charge of finding Batman's lair and was the one speaking. The recruit spoke to the machine about the direction Supergirl was heading.

"Scanners are static due to her speed, but the direction fits one of the locations were guessed the Batman could build a lair-"

The drone interrupted the recruit and had already calculated the possible location that Supergirl could have gone and said it aloud.

"Arkham Asylum, since Batman is batty!"

The recruit muttered a bit and then whispered to the drone the actual location of where Supergirl could have went.

"Of course...Wayne Manor...I calculated that...Prepare an assault! Wayne Manor will burn to the ground! A thousand Eastern Bloc Soldiers will descend upon them! Our gun fire will block out the moon...But what if they hide in the shade of the manor? Blue prints of Wayne Manor stat!"

The recruit didn't want to get shot like last time, so he went on with the drones mad ramblings; they weren't going anywhere fast.

Reaper glanced back at the puppet with a slight grin. "My appologies. The, Ventriloquist did you say, doesn't get to do much then?"
My what an interesting case. The doll was clearly the dominant one. Either the man had a strange personality dissorder, or he had somehow found one of those little living dolls. What was that movie again...Chuckie? Either way this little distraction had managed to calm him down a bit. Cute little glare...never seen a doll glare at anyone before. Unfortunatly if Supergirl didn't intimidate him, a doll wasn't even in the ball park.
Speaking of which, there was a familiar blue steak zipping through the sky overhead. Hm, apparently she had found something else to do, since he didn't have any copies in the direction she was taking.

Scarface continued his glare. "No, he's one of my most faithful men, although he's also one of the most useless among them. Still, I need him every now and again. And don't... EVER... disregard me like that again."

Wesker remained silent.

((Enter the Commissar from New York))

After a time in the helicopter, the city of Gotham came into view and it would only be a matter of time till the Commissar was at Gotham Bloc, the Eastern Bloc headquarters of Gotham. As soon as he got there, the Commissar would make sure to destroy that drone he had built to lead Gotham Bloc while he was absent for all those years in the other universe. Gotham hadn't seemed to change since he was last he and when the Commissar finally arrived at Gotham Bloc, Rhino was going to give back the suit he had taken a long time ago.

The helicopter landed offshore and sunk, the pilot and the Commissar walked onto the beach and took a quick surveillance before entering. The Commissar pushed in a part of the ridge a few feet away from the shore and a secret entrance opened in the rock. The Commissar stepped in and the pilot followed the entrance closing behind them. As soon as the too entered, the Commissar was greeted by the Commissar drone and the entire occupancy of the Gotham Bloc. The pilot was from the other universe; this was all strange to him. The Commissar held open his mechanical hand to the pilot and the pilot knew the Commissar wanted his gun. The pilot placed the pistol into the Commissar's hands and without even a second to pass, the Commissar shot the Commissar Drone in the head.

"This base is no longer commanded by that malfunctioning scrap heap; take me to Sytsevich, no more wasted time."

"Of course." Reaper replied, trying to hold back a smile. Cute. He could have fun just listening to this thing. Wonder how tough this thing would be inside of a woodchipper.
