((Nope, didn't have a clue. xD But I fixed it now.))

"I'm...not sure."

That didn't sound very credible. Taliman pursed his lips. His arms tightened around his chest. Thinking of that.. thing.. wasn't the most pleasant of experiences. But experiences were all he had on this one. He had to convince Tybron somehow. That somehow this thing had eluded everyone but him.

"It's a being, I know. Of evil, of infinite power," again very blunt. The Emperor wasn't accustomed to being in this position. "It's hidden, only letting me know of it subliminally." He froze for a moment, his eye growing cold as he stared through Tybron, back into his recollection of the event. His tail flapped nervously against the couch behind him. The dark sword on his back pulsed. The energy felt cornered, apprehensive, as the power of the sword mirrored Taliman's emotions about this "being" invading his psyche. The damned thing was in his head, he didn't know what to do.

"I can't... it's in my mind somehow."

*Seth had to laugh internally for a moment. Indeed, this persona was nothing like Jade; she was far more manipulative and... Mischievous. Clearly this woman was what the humans would call a "flirt." This didn't bother Seth in the slightest; on the contrary, he found it amusing; "cute," even, as some would call it. There was more to her than what meets the eye, however. Her body language and tone hinted towards some narcissistic tendencies, but that was to be expected, as was her more direct approach to people; she was far more confident. It was likely that she was more violent, too, following a logical psychological profile. All of this pointed to the same conclusion: she truly appeared to be the direct opposite of her counterpart.

Taking another sip of his beverage, he sat down the bottle in fron of him and answered her query without looking up from the bar. He of course ignored her verbal jab about his actions; he wasn't one to actually care about manners. that was something for more... civilized company.*

"My name is Seth. Seth Kagioto. You say the name you chose. Explain."

::Subliminally? Deity didn't know that much about psychic powers - he did know that Taliman was a powerful man in terms of the mind. Against lesser opponents he could fight using nothing but the elements around him. He could pierce into the darkest reaches of a good man's soul and expose him to be a devil. So for something to be residing in his mind without him having any say was heavy. But that wouldn't be the reason he came. This was starting to make a little sense - Deity's brother had intimate knowledge of this monster, whatever it was.

The warmth was growing, swelling in size with the boy's excitement. It wasn't the thrill of battle. It wasn't the challenge of a new enemy. The thought of danger, of fear, somehow got a rise out of him. In the same moment, Deity couldn't understand why he felt that way, but he also didn't want to ask. He was going with it. Misplaced though his feelings were, he wanted to hear more. Perhaps for the wrong reasons, he was buying into this.::

((Sorry, had to take a shower and deal with a chatty grandmother. Very distracting.))

"Seth.....Seth, Seth, Seth...."

She repeated his name, as she had done with Samayou, storing it into her memory. Again, familiar and yet not at the same time. Whatever, it didn't matter much at this point.

What was bugging her was teh fact that Seth wasn't even making eye contact. Not because it was rude to her; she didn't care much about that except to tease someone. But because she always enjoyed reading people's eyes. They told a lot more than one might imagine. But this one just looked at the bar counter, his posture saying he was closed off to new people, that he would find out information before he opened up. So be it, then.

"What's to explain? I am Kirra, simple and plain. The name sounded nice, so I chose it." She was not Jade, so there was no point in calling herself something she was not.

PostPosted: Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:36 pm

"If there is one thing you will learn about this place Kirra is that everyone eavesdrops, its like one big non-related family here."

he could sense her emotions and feel the waves crashing into him. She thought he had ignored her but in all actually he was paying more attention to her then even the brothers. his ears picking up on everyone's words from those upstairs sleeping to the ones down here shouting in his ear. Yo-ko went on about training and cracked a few jokes as the Devil nodded along and giving him a little amused grunt. Sama never really had a sense of humor though he did find some things funny...he never had time for funny. if Yo-ko thought Sama was tall now wait till the lil b*****d saw him stand up, after all Sama was now in a seat at the bar.

Seth introduced himself to Kirra, obviously interested in the alter ego, and then simply sat their and waited for a chance to interject something or start a conversation. Meanwhile he spoke to Yo-ko but it should be noted that the entire time he spoke he never actually looked away cause he was never looking at them to begin with. His face was staring right forward those pupil-less eyes pale and foamy as they glanced at what appeared to be the wall on the opposite side of the room.

"You know Yo-Ko if you have any questions about your techniques just ask me I am sure I have the answers written down in a journal or a book somewhere, or even off the top of my head."

Earth. Wesley didn't show up to tell his wayward brother how to protect his pitiful home planet. If that was the case he wo-- No. It would never be the case. Ruling Orion, doing right by his people, defending his little corner of the universe, securing his own power. Those were his concerns. If the greatest evil that ever haunted a man's dreams was about to eat Earth whole, Taliman wouldn't give a damn.

"You know I don't care about the planet," he snapped. Taliman said it so harshly that he instantly considered taking it back. I could've said that easier. But it was true. Earth could disappear that night and not one ******** would be given on planet Orion, much less by their leader. He didn't have time to butter this up though.

"This... entity. It wants more than Earth, so much more."

Yo-ko smirked. Good old Sama. He was prehaps the best training partner anyone could ask for. If it worked on him, the technique definatelly worked. Yo-ko took a few steps back to offer the giant his space after he had his fun to help better relay the emotions.

"I appreciate the help buddy. Its not so much my technique as it is the world around me and my minipulation of it. Make a stronger connection with the Unifying life force and tap into the spiritual frequencies. I must say though, my research has come along quite nicely. Alot of interesting truths have been descovered."

As much as Yo-ko tried to play the part of a scientist and inovater, he was a scrapper to the very bone. His reasearch was nothing short of testing to make his techniques more powerful and more efficient. Because he started to grab the concepts of the world, his spiritual minipulation was now almost perfected. However, Yo-ko was always willing to learn. Even at the price of getting his a** handed to him.

"so, Sama what you say.....a little scrap for old times sake? kick my a** around the ring a couple more times?....he...he...he..."

Once again, The Fox-demon found a way to throw his charm into...well...technically a challenge even if it was never ment to be one. Sama would know Yo-ko valued him in a way a disfuctional group of demons valued each other. Either way, it seemed Yo-ko was growing.

Sama's blood almost jumped out of his veins at the chance to fight, however he had to stay. Taliman was just getting to the good part and Sama wanted to know. Earth was his birth world, the Devil had to help defend it. Whatever Tali had against it was not his concern but stopping someone from destroying it was, and thus he had to decline.

"Sorry Yo-Ko I am content with staying here for now and mingling but like I said if you ever need more knowledge let me know I can bring a few books from my library."

*The smirk on Seth's face widened with Samayou's interjection. Indeed, it was true; this place was the closest thing Seth really had to a "family." He shrugged this off, though; "family" was not exactly something that existed with his kind. Though they reproduced sexually, the Kageyasha were more animalistic than their humanoid form would let on; there ware no feelings involved. Hell, there were never feelings involved in anything that the Shadow Demons did. He had been told many a time that he seemed "guarded" because of this, though nothing could be further from the truth; he just didn't have "emotions," at least not as this world had come to understand them. This is why this "Kirra" interested Seth so much; she lacked the layer of humanistic bullshit that most, earthling and extraterrestrial, had in spades.

That being said, she wasn't void of emotion; of humanistic "want." It was clear to Seth that the aversion of his eyes was bothering her. So, he decided to humor her. As he turned to gaze into her eyes, he already knew what she would see about him; cold, emotionless, calculated. Its the same thing people had been seeing in him for the last 10,000 years; nothing new, nothing special. He spoke to her again, hoping to clarify his query.*

"That's not exactly what I meant. I was referring to your origins; how you came to be, if you will."

::Deity couldn't help but feel the sting on that one. His planet was more than his home. It was his life project. When all else failed, protecting those around him kept his head straight - it kept his conscience clear. For centuries, Earth gave him a reason to be alive. To have it disregarded and disrespected in such a way was an insult to him and everyone he had fought to protect. He wanted to say something - Tali was pushing it.

But he let it go without so much as a hurt look on his face. Why? An unimaginably powerful evil monster, ready to tear everything apart just to sate its thirst for detsruction. Not just Earth, not just Orion. Everything. The image of the planets shattering under the weight of this evil lured him deeper into the hot, inviting shadows in his mind. For a moment Deity heard himself inside, wondering why it all sounded so exciting. Why did imminent doom make him want to see it, not stop it? He couldn't answer that himself - but before he could ask, he still had other questions for Taliman to answer.::

...did it tell you this? ..how do you...?

If Yo-ko had his fox ears out, they would have perked up to the sound "books." And just as fast as the reaction came, Yo-ko realized just what he was.

"oye...im such a dork. Actually i would greatly appreciate that Sama. Whenever you get the chance though. Dont leave cause i asked. Im not getting any old. hahahaha...."

Bad joke, but Yo-ko loved doing them. This place one of few that could tolerate his almost poltergeist behavior. However after what Sama had said, something just didnt feel right their was a tension in the air. But Yo-ko wouldnt midn it right now. when he was needed, they would find a way to ask him.
