"Sounds like it's already begun," he agreed with Miko as he quickened his pace to match hers. Soon they breached the inner city. However, it didn't take getting this close to the inner city to notice a floating mechanical object shifting shape in the sky above Seraca, "What is THAT?!" his sight was fixed on the giant object as he continued forward. Damn, is this a result of Hikari's song? He gritted his teeth and pressed on, each step gaining more and more speed.

Naomi nodded. "Well, I suppose then it's up to us. We can take a squad of the Standard Third-Generations, and some soldiers to stop them from interfering. Once the weapon is fully activated, it will be ready to use at any time." Naomi bowed quickly to the President. "Please, excuse me." She turned to the man. "Are you coming? I thought that the Third-Generation didn't matter to you?" Naomi asked with a bemused smirk on her face. "Oh, well, it doesn't matter in the end I suppose. As long as we all get what we want, isn't that right?" The woman stepped in front of the desk and pressed a button, activating the intercom system. "Attention, C.P.G. Security! All vanguards and Reyvateils on alert immediately. Groups B and C scout the area for any suspicious personnel, and Group A report to the observation room, immediately." She shut the intercom off. "There, all taken care of. Let's go greet our guests."

The President waved a hand dismissively at the man. "In due time, the Fau Pira will be demolished. Be patient until then."

Naomi only smirked mischievously at the man's retreating back. "Oh, of course. However, you may find it wise to not underestimate the power of the girl, or Fau Pira for that matter. After all, it was originally designed to supply the power that your precious Ar Tonelico so lacks. Remember that, silly boy." She called after him. With that Naomi stepped out, dead set on her own mission. She knew that he didn't have any interest in the Fau Pira. To him it was just a failed project, but she loved pressing his buttons anyway. Oh, how she loved toying with that man, or almost any man for that matter...

"Oh, my-!" Miko gasped, shocked. "What in the world is that thing going to do? It's so big!" The younger twin nearly trembled along with the city. She shook her head. "We have to hurry. If Rhaplanca can help us stop Hikari from singing then, that's great! I wonder why Hikari is singing, anyway. I mean, she's singing for the enemy. Does that mean that she never was on our side?" Miko didn't want to think about it, but it was a possibility. She heard a commotion up ahead and looked up to see a battalion of soldiers and Reyvateils. "Uh-oh, we've got company," she warned.

As soon as he dropped her, Mana reached into her pocket and took out another Droopy Soda, downing it in a couple of gulps. "Yuck!" As disgusting as the beverage was, it did help Mana's fatigue a little. Unfortunately she knew that she would need another one really soon. "Okay, I'm ready. And it's a good thing, too, 'cuz it looks like we got ourselves some company!" Sure enough, a couple dozen vanguards with their Reyvateil partners were coming to call. Mana reached back for her weapon. "Time to have some fun." She sprung forward, attacking one of the head vanguards.

"Sync with me! Let us bind our songs into one!" Two Reyvateils chanted and shot a fire beam at Mana.

"Whoa! Hey, that's not fair!" Mana was still feeling the wear from overexertion.

[Should we really make Song Magic only available through diving? Would it be alright if it was also able to be crafted in moments of heightened emotional feelings? Cause if it's only through Dives, it might take a while ><;;]

Noaah looked at Rhaplanca, and nodded, keeping in touch with her words. "Yes, if she can get into hearing range of your song, then maybe we might have a chance at slowing it down. Reyvateils singing different songs that aren't in sync generally bring each other down a notch in terms of synchronization and speed... Alright, we can try it out. As for my Song Magic... I'll try my best." he said, giving a firm nod.

Noaah looked out towards the sky, seeing the great Fau Pira, an orb of concentric metal rings and plants, moving in complex patterns that never seemed to falter or collide. "It's beautiful... yet so ugly..." To think that something that enchanting could be a weapon of mass destruction, sapping the song out of one of his friends... "The C.P.G. have probably already forced Hikari to sing, since the Fau Pira is actively in movement. If her song initalizes, I'm not sure the Life Giver could gather enough life force to sing the tower back to it's normal state and sing for much longer..."

Quickly, he felt something in the air. His ears picked up a frequency of song that made him turn his head slightly, his eyes widening in awe as he saw the groupings of C.P.G.. Noaah frowned, getting next to Rhaplanca. He was determined now, and at least he could sync with Rhaplanca, and still have Vanguards to protect him. "Rhaplanca, should we start? You pick a Song Magic..."

Out of insitinct, Noaah's head glanced towards the sound of the voice, only to find some male in the midst of the battalion of Reyvateils. It seemed like he was being over powered, until he seemed to swing something of a fairly large width. It was a sword, rune inscribed on it's length, slashing at the many enemies before him, and actually knocking a few to their rumps on the floor. Noaah couldn't help but stare in fascination as the blade, as heavy as it looked, almost seemed to dance around the male as he held it firmly, fighting his way through the crowd, swing after swing, until he could finally break free, moving closer to Rhaplanca, Ishira, Miko and himself. It seemed he'd spotted the group, and actually wanted to interact with them, for some reason.

"Name's Anther Pandrex, travelling knight... I'll be helping you out of this for now, thank me later..." He'd assumed a rather relaxed stance for fighting, sword resting on his shoulder as the enemy moved closer, his face determined, almost like a lion's as it was about to attack it's prey, and just like that, he leaped forward, great sword high in the air as he brought it down upon an enemy vanguard's protective helmet, the sheer weight splitting it in half with enough force to actually crack the Vanguard's armor all the way down to his metal boots, the guard falling unconcious because of the head trauma.
