I had a feeling after Lanzer stopped being the "poster boy" for Gaia, that RO was basically out. It was kinda his thing, and I don't think the new personnel really care about past Gaia. If we really want anything like a town competition, maybe we need to create our own in-guild event with town vs town themed contests. That way we can still use the town theme prizes we've all saved up, and still have some sort of event. Don't rely on Gaia to spoon feed the events we love anymore. Maybe on Saturday I can work with people to cook up our own mini RO.

I'm pretty salty about no RO. Blegh. I'm gonna go drown in filthy frank videos for a bit, excuse me while I watch them and cuddle my dead computer :')

I've been away on a really long hiatus and I just came back for RO.
I still have my hopes up that RO would happen after this slime event. Hopefully.
Since previous RO's started a few days after the start of the actual olympic games.

Sup3r_Bwahaha Wait, when did he stop doing that? Quite a while back when the big staff shake-up happened. Some people blame the market inflation for all the shake-up. He's only there for minor stuff now. He may have founded Gaia, but he's not in charge anymore. I'm sure Chibi can find you more details on the whole staff flop. A lot of other staff (artists) left too.

Just got back from Orlando and having fun. Wait....it's cancelled? Well crap. What's the next thing guys? Wanna grab water guns in towns? Wait.....they dropped summer towns events most likely sad

Gaia died years ago for me, I'm only on for the friends and community. Overall the events no longer draw in crowds or hold any entertainment anymore. It's the same repetitive point and click or donate for achievements stuff events. They had a community, actual talent, and somewhere lost whatever made this place a home for many users.

I agree with you. I used to like zOMG, but they got rid of it. I find this place to be a bore.

I agree. Although it looks like they took the CN scarf and just changed the shape a tiny bit, then recolored it. Cynoscion Gaia died years ago for me, I'm only on for the friends and community.
