Past
Amatsu remembers happy parents and warmth but its more like a fleeting memory and half the time he wonders if he didn't just imagine it. After all his first real memories where of the orphanage where any friend he made was then adopted or any one he took interest in disappeared. He didn't stand out and was quiet and withdrawn, not to mention he was shorter than most other chimera kids and way too big for an imp child so couples often didn't want to adopt him. As long as he could remember it was just Mikazuki and him.
He tried not to let that get to him and was always polite and friendly, after all it wasn't like he could control where life would take him.

Eventually however a young adult hybrid walked into the orphanage and Amatsu was instantly drawn to him. He made sure that he was always the first one to greet him when ever Yami walked through the door. He could tell there was something dark about the man but Yami made sure it never crossed over to his interactions in the orphanage. Eventually yami was able to adopt him and take him home, even better was that Yami also adopted Mikazuki and the twins could stay together.

Present
Yami is a great dad and he loves living at the cafe and watching all the new people that pass by. He has tons of mafia uncles and he gets to go to a brand new school with Mikazuki. It was during orientation that Amatsu ran into his first naga. Bismae was definitely different than what Amatsu was used to but he was touched at the support bismae showed, although he is a bit confused on why she keeps calling him Hattu.

Life continued on like normal. He went home and helped Yun at the cafe and spent time with his family and his brother. Yami met a nice Kumiho by the name of Tempo and Amatsu really hopes that Yami marries her. He then met a hybrid by the name of Lapis when he rescued vesperkitties from underneath one of the buildings. the two became friends when they agreed to raise the kittens together.

It wasnt to stay peaceful however. Life changed drastically during the Haunted Hallows. Amatsu had left Yami and Lapis and had gone home to spend time with his twin. However Asphodel was attacked and somehow in the confusion Amatsu and Mikazuki had been left in the house. Eventually some one broken in and both Mikazuki and himself defended the cafe to the best of their ability knocking out the intruder. It made him realize he loved his family and the cafe. he wanted to help protect his home.

He started becoming a bit less goody two shoes and invited over a hybrid for a homework assignment with out permission. Fiore, had a blast and eventually the two put away the assignment to make hot chocolate.

Uno-
Its a bit clumsy but Amatsu is totally okay with this. Its loyal and after the worst game of play ever decided it wanted to go home with ama. how could he not love it.


Shogi-
Shogi was a gift from Yami. yami wanted something that would protect Mika and Amatsu when he had to spend the night out and couldnt come home to them. Shogi takes her job very seriously although she's not above laying around and cuddling with Amatsu or even playing with the child hybrid.


Seket
A familiar he got at the haunted hallows, Seket often helps calm him down when ever life just gets to be too much. They're a bit of a sweetheart and always curling up somewhere on Amatsu. However they are a bit skiddish around other people.
