Amatsu rather loved reading about ancient cultures. He always fancied himself as an architect when he got older, or a game designer. Maybe he could even find old games that had been lost to time and modernize them. However nowadays he wanted to help Grandpa Yun in the café. There were just soo many drinks to learn how to make and pastries to learn how to bake. There was also the fact that the café was in Mafia territory and his dad really hated when he talked about joining. It wasn’t as if Uncle Vanna was going to let him do anything dangerous.

However that was off topic. The topic was ancient cultures and the fact that he had someone over at his house above the café. Dad… was going to kill him. It was a thing that he went over to classmate’s houses. He was never supposed to bring them over here. Due to reasons above.

“Well I’m not entirely sure. Dad gets a bit iffy when it comes to having people over, but its school related right so he should be okay with it. I would have said we could do it in the café but at this time of day its really loud” Amatsu replied fiddling his thumbs together. It didn’t help that Yami never checked his phone this time of day either. He supposed he could have asked Grandpa Yun, but like he had just mentioned this time of day was always really busy at the café and he had been dealing with customers.

"dad doesn't come home until way later so as long as we don't make a mess it should be okay" Amatsu added.

Amatsu waited patiently. He was in that awkward place where he was waiting for her to decide on what she wanted to do. After all it was clear Amatsu didn’t have permission even if it was a school thing. However after a couple of minutes Fiore finally spoke and Amatsu smiled. While they would still be staying here, they had somewhat of a plan that ended up with hot chocolate at the end. He’d explain to Grandpa later. Fiore wouldn’t really be staying in here long. Yami wouldn’t get to yell at him for having someone over and homework get done.

“Okay so what culture do we want to do the report on?” Amatsu asked in a happier tone.

He was a bit surprised at the answer. He almost expected to be doing the report on a daydream race although really a lot of them were tight lipped about their history. So hearing geist was a bit out of left field for him. Still it was a race he was interested in learning about having geist blood as well, even if it didn’t show up as prominently as his other traits.

“Well we got some good notes in class the other day when everyone did historical figures.” Amatsu started as his way of saying geists was perfectly fine with him, and with that it was off. Both of them sprawled on the bed with books around them as they pointed out different things that would be fun to add to the report. There were still a couple weeks until it was due. This meeting was mostly for gathering information and plotting things after all.

Just a little bit more and they’d be home free. Amatsu waited until Grandpa Yun was looking the other way before he and fiore slipped into the café and quickly grabbed a table. Luckily a good portion of the crowd had gone for the moment, although considering the shake of his grandfather’s head he might not have been so successful at not getting caught.

“thanks for all the help today Fiore. Now about that hot chocolate I promised” Amatsu stated with a smile, as he started to get up. “I’ll go help Grandpa yun make some. After all a demonstration is always helpful”
