Seiichiro continues to walk along the route, watching Hana sniffing flowers, then stops as he hears rustling. Hana also stops, and looks at the bush where the rustling came from.

Saki walks through the route upon arriving in the Kanto region, making her way into Viridian City. A Meowth walked alongside her, meowing every so often. "I know we're both eager for badges, but we had to deliver that letter to that person. Master Koga said it was urgent." she says, watching as Meowth rustled through some bushes.

Hana pokes her head through the bushes, looking at the Meowth and trainer on the other side. "Eev?" she says, tilting her head.

Saki blinks as she pulls out a Poke Ball. "Well, what's an Eevee doing out here? No matter. I'll catch it, and make it part of my team." she says, as Meowth stood, ready to battle.

"Wait!" called Seiichiro, before tumbling out of the bushes. "This Eevee is mine. Her name is Hana." he says, looking up at the female ninja.

"I'll keep an eye on her. My name's Seiichiro. I just started my journey today." he says, eyeing her curiously. "You said you're a ninja Pokemon trainer? I thought you would have Poison types, and not a Meowth..."

Saki shrugs. "I go beyond normal ninja trainers. While they use simply Poison or Psychic types, I use a variety of Pokemon with ninja-like abilites. Take Meowth for example. Meowth is a cat Pokemon, and is good for stealth and sneaking into places. Their keen sense of balance is an important trait all ninjas must have."
