Edlyre finished sealing the remaining fiends that were weakened enough. He had managed to seal more than usual thanks to their efforts. Looking at the runes of the sealing stones, he saw their letters glow faintly indicating that they were near capacity. He would have to do a cleansing ritual to banish them and empty the stones which took time. Looking around he watched as the others wrapped up their battles, but was disturbed when one took the heart of one of the fallen enemies and eat it. "Needs salt?" he asked before directed to heal the injured farmer.
Edlyre shrugged and went on his way. He only knew healing in the apthacary sense. Taking out a few balms, bandages and powders, he tended to the injured man's wounds. There were a number of deep cuts and he had the man bite into a few leaves to help with the pain. Pulling out a vial, he poured a clear liquid on the wound which began to bubble and fizz. He knew that the effects were working. Bandaging the man's wounds, he advised the farmer not to exert too much effort or risk opening the wounds further. He returned to the others and stated that he had applied dressing and medicine to the man's injuries and asked what they should do with him.
"I understand that it may not be your policy to take injured bystanders, but if we were to leave him alone, I'm not certain if other fiends will come to finish the job. What should we do with him?"

Blada cringed as Raegar bit into what appeared to be the beast’s heart. Such display of savagery was largely unnecessary, Blada felt. By this point, she knew all that she needed to know about this man, and wasn’t sure she wanted to keep speaking with him for much longer.
“So, I believe I already know the answer to this, but I must ask anyway—who calls the shots here?” Blada asked loudly, addressing her question to the entire group. She started to get the impression that not everyone was even aware of her presence. “Who is your leader? There is something important I need to discuss with him.”

"We're basically a random pickup group who joined up with Raegar, so you could say that the giant is the lead for this mission." Fidessa replied. Honestly, this is just a group of misfits that don't seem to work well together. Fidessa thought as she twirled her sheath around her body using both hands grasping and handing off. She was fairly anxious and wanted to see some more action.

“Hmm…well that’s unfortunate,” Blada teased, flashing a subtle grin at Fidessa. She paused for a moment, contemplating the best way to phrase her question. “Listen, I’m going to just cut to the chase here. I would like to take you up on the offer from earlier, when you asked me to fight alongside you. That is…if the offer is still on the table.”

Fidessa ceased to fidget with her sheathed weapon and thought for a moment at Blade's question. "Technically, I don't really have a say in this, but I don't think they would mind if you tagged along." She replied and looked over at her comrades for support on the matter.

"We would, of course, welcome such a lively young lady to our hunt." Dimitri said with a smile and a wink. "Strength in numbers, and all that." Roger said. "Though Raegar is leading this hunt. He calls the shots. And if not him then one of us. Our hunt, our rules." "He is right. Perhaps you can lead the next hunt." Dimitri said. "I'd be more than pleased to join you."

“Thank you, I’m very grateful,” Blada said with a nod. “Although I can’t say I’ll be ready to lead you guys in a hunt anytime soon. I don’t have much experience battling with full-grown fiends, unfortunately.”
As much as Blada hated to admit it, this was pretty much the truth. She had spent lots of time training and preparing herself for battle back at the Darkan academy, but no real test had ever actually presented itself. Now that she was venturing out on her own, following some sort of mission mandated by her fallen father, the time would certainly come for Blada to prove herself. Her peers and teachers always spoke very highly of her combat skill, but no one could predict how well her training would translate into actual fighting, where lives would really be at stake.

Since he heard no reply, he returned to the farmer and advised him to seek help once his wounds were healed sufficiently. The next village wasn't too far and it really bothered him to leave the injured in such a state without any means of transportation. He once more appealed to the group to at least have the man come with them and drop him off at the next village where he can find find help as his healing capabilities and supply was limited.
Upon hearing that Blada would be joining them, he nodded with approval. He knew that the young woman was a capable individual and would be a great asset to the group.

((I'm going to hijack Raegar temporarily. Just to give us something to post off of for now.))
"If you're all done chatting let's get moving." Raegar growled, eager to be back on the trail and one step closer to the next fight. Tha giant of a man didn't bother waiting for a response and moved back to Kolo. He patted the shaggy beast on its head and rumbled, "Come". Raegar and Kole then began to scout about, searching for the fiends tracks where they led back to where they had come from.

"Well! Let's search and destroy." Fidessa said cheerfully to Blada, though it was odd to use those exact words in that manner.
"You heard Raegar!" Fidessa shouted as she smacked Dimitri hard on the back instead of a softer pat. "They shouldn't be too far from here anyway, an alpha's influence shouldn't reach very far unless it was..." Fidessa stopped herself, realizing these other people didn't know she was originally from Axis. Altered by Axis... She thought to herself. "Never mind." She added softly.
There was a possibility that this fiend was a fiend experimented on by Axis, but there was also the chance it was just a powerful fiend that evolved on its own.

Edlyre held the stone that contained the fiend. The runes glowed softly indicating that the fiend was indeed trapped within. Placing the stone in his pouch, he proceeded to join the others. He heard Raegar's command to get moving and quickly moved to join the group. It seemed that there was still a bit of agitation of what to do next and if there were more, however his stone did not seem active so he assumed that they were safe at least for now.
He heard Fidessa mention the alpha, "Unless what?" he asked, but she said to pay no heed which forced him to drop the subject. However he did wonder what she had meant about the alpha. "Where to?" he asked.

After Raegar made the call to continue their march, Blada hesitated before falling in line with the rest of the hunters. This all felt strange to her, and she had to admit to herself that she didn't entirely know what to expect...which was a typically a hard thing for Blada to admit.
She lagged several steps behind the group, close enough to listen along to their conversations, but far enough away that she could peacefully retreat to her own thoughts in silence. Although she tried to remain focused on the present, her mind kept wandering back to the last words of her father and his final command to her.
While Blada did end up joining forces with the hunters, she was already anticipating having to stray far from what her father had initially envisioned for her in this band of fighters.
