((We're going on a downhill run today with our boards to get some footage for a sponsorship video, there's a good chance one of us is going to eat s**t or hit a car lmao. Just assume Riser is pissy but in agreement with everything, I've got no time to post. Later!))

Lin smiled and handed Ambrose the glass of tea she had been making for herself. Then, she fixed another glass for herself before sitting down at the dining room table. "So, did you like the party?"

Accepting his drink and sitting across from Lia at the table, Ambrose took a sip before he replied. "Oh, yes, it was unlike anything I've ever attended before. Boring business dinners will never hold a candle to that. I particularly enjoyed that solo of yours. It was marvelous." He said, raising his glass to her slightly.

Lin actually blushed and looked down at the top of the table. She laughed softly. "Oh. Well, thank you. But, my voice is so much younger-sounding and not as mature or refined like my sisters' voices are. But I appreciate your compliment just the same."

Oh God, he thought, and had to blink to keep from staring. She was so cute when she blushed, and when she laughed...damn. "Oh, no, please, don't be modest. I know it may sound rude, but out of all the performances tonight, I found I enjoyed yours the most. It was a beautiful song, and there's no doubt that you did it justice." He said, not wanting her to sell herself short.

She giggled again and looked up at Ambrose. "Well, I am glad you enjoyed it. It was all for yours and Lia's enjoyment, after all. So, did you want to talk with my father tomorrow and work on your shielding spells?"
She took another sip of her tea.

"Oh, yes, that would be great. To learn from your father would be just...wonderful." He said, thinking he'd used more bubbly terms like 'wonderful' and 'marvelous' in this oen conversation than he usually did in months...Oh well.

((Hey guys, two things: My internet is back up! Yay! But I'm in both band camp and driver's ed. I leave my house at 7.30 AM and get back late. So I sadly don't really have enough time to get on. I'm seriously put out about this, but I should be able to get on on the weekends, but weekdays are pretty much a no-go. Weekend time will also be limited by other things I have to prepare for, so I'm really sorry. I don't have enough time right now to catch myself up, so I'm just going to go around and let everyone know about this. At the end of August I can start getting back on at least every other day. I'm really sorry about all this. My summer just was much busier than I expected, so I'm not completely prepared for school. Anyway, thanks for reading this and (as far as I can tell, haha...) being patient with me.))

((...um, FYI FD, if you're trying to barge into Alec's classroom, you should know the door is frozen solid with a 6 inch layer of ice. And it's after hours on a friday in the RP, so classes are out.))
