Super Sailor Adria
Total: 3+3+3+5=14
Adria just drew Meridiana tighter; jostled and thrown about, he just wanted to hold onto her. Somehow--by some miracle--they wound up on solid ground. Only, there was some sort of giant fire beast crawling to life in the distance. Adria could feel the heat on his flesh, in his lungs. "You don't have to apologize," he rasped. "We've got this."
They didn't. He didn't know why he said it. He wasn't strong enough to make a difference here, not in the long run. But he wasn't going to just give up. What he lacked in strength, he had to make up for in durability and willpower.
He was good at surviving, he needed to give himself a little more credit for that. All of these encounters and he hadn't died--yet.
Still, some flaming beast, some--some volcanic dragon--wasn't exactly good for his nerves. But he'd had one encounter with a dragon already. This was...different...but they weren't alone. He didn't let go of Meridiana, and when he realized he might be trembling he just held her tighter to cover it up. He'd kept his eyes on the great chasm--the fire trying to erupt from within. He saw as the ground shook, as pieces rolled in. He saw the way the impact caused the fire to snuff out.
"...We just...have to put out what we can. Don't--don't let go," he said; he held her hand tightly and wasn't sure if he even cared if anyone saw him. There were more important things to worry about than what color they were wearing. He took her with him to a large rock. It was heavy, maybe not too much for him, but too much to easily move alone. "...Help me push this. Look, the spots where things are falling in...the fire looks like it's going out. Maybe if we can...help put it out...maybe it'll do something."
...At least, maybe it wouldn't burn on the way down.

Meri -> Adria 4+9+2+4 = 19Amidst the chaos and confusion, Meridiana’s body trembled as Adria held her close, his arms circled around her protectively and for the briefest of moments she closed her eyes and tried to imagine the first time she saw him. The two of them standing in a vacant area across from the theater. The air had been cold and sky was shrouded in billowy clouds threatening to dump water on the both of them. The only sounds then were quiet murmurs of patrons leaving the opera as they walked to their vehicles. It was a moment so far removed from this realm of shadows and fire that in it she found a small semblance of peace. Adria took her hand then and guided her to a large rock. Don’t let go he said and his grip told her enough that he would do the same. He then said something that drew her attention to where other senshi, knights, and even agents were pushing the large stones into the growing crevasses. “O-...okay…” Her voice shook and she spoke hesitantly. Even with all the training Zinkenite had given her, Meridiana still lacked any sort of confidence that she had the strength to manage such a feat as punching something so big over. But she wasn’t alone and he was a super senshi which meant that he was also stronger than she was… so maybe together they could do it. The rising heat made it hard to breathe and when she leaned her bare arm against the stone it felt like she was burning her skin. But she pushed against it as he did and was rewarded when the gravel beneath it shifted and it plummeted to the bottom of the chasm. A plume of ash rose up and Meridiana pulled him back away from the edge before it could swallow them both up. Her lungs burned and she started coughing for several moments from the inability to draw in a breath of fresh clean air. “Did- did it work?” she asked, not really feeling inclined to look over the edge least one of them fall back in again.

Transcended Eternal Ida The shadowy people seemed to fade… not in their dark forms, which she could still see, but in their substance. They stopped knocking Ida about and instead passed through her like ghosts, leaving a chill behind that the heat of the flames couldn’t touch. Everything was chaos… the world had gone mad, or she’d stepped into someone’s version of hell. The threat felt real, but there was nothing to fight, nothing to face, her heart beating rapidly in her chest…
But she could hear someone calling, shouting for help. She barely caught it over the din of everything else, the voice small and young, but not very far. Ida strained to see past the shadowy figures, moving forward with arms outstretched to keep her from tripping over any of the debris. Was that a flash of something cream? The shifting lighting made it hard to tell, but… yes! There!
A cat?
“I’m coming!” Ida called as she jumped forward, clearing the space between them. She firmly ignored the shadows, refusing to let them distract her. That was a mauvian over there, one of the alien cats that senshi so depending upon. Not one she knew, but someone precious all the same. “I’ve got you!”
It was easy to scoop up the much smaller creature when she landed by the edge of the rift, falling to a knee to reach for the cat clinging to the broken ground. Ida tucked the soft, warm little body against her chest as she shoved one of the large rocks beside her, rolling it over and off the edge. It fell and exploded into dust, surprisingly smothering the fire that threatened them.
“Are you okay?” Ida asked into the temporary peace as she glanced downwards, loosening her grip on the poor kitten she’d rescued.

Knight Tanais
Some large and scaled loomed upwards, lifting up from the flames as they danced and flared around it. Tanais froze and watched with horror, the heat beating at her from all sides.
The <********> was that? A youma? A… greater youma? She’d never seen one of those, but she’d heard about one people had seen a long time ago. They lurked in the darkest, deepest areas of the Rift… was that where they’d all been taken? It made a weird sort of sense… the hands pulling them into the darkness, the cluttered area, the screaming not-people. She didn’t… feel like she was in somewhere so corrupted as the Rift was supposed to be. But what else could that monster be?
The heat was the worst part of this though. It made her eyes water and her skin burn where it was exposed. It felt real enough to be a concern, and there was precious little to do about it. Casting about, Tanais found a pile of rocks to shelter against, shoving one of them over to block the flames. To her surprise, it exploded into something powdery when it fell, killing the flames themselves.
“The rocks! Use the rocks on the fire!” She called, uncertain if anyone could hear her.

Ammersee
Ammersee wasn't feeling very lucky when the heat stunned him. He could feel it as easily as if it were right before him. He felt like there were blisters on his skin, fire in his lungs--and then, it was gone. He was tired, dizzy. He wanted to tear off his clothes to cool off.
Now wasn't the time to strip, though. He needed to be productive. He needed to get out of here.
He wavered and accidentally kicked a rock over the edge. It wasn't big, but it was something--and the plume of ash that erupted hinted that maybe he was on the right track.

The flames spiral higher. There doesn't seem to be a ceiling in this great, shadowy pit. The flames cast a light across the darkness, but nothing is properly illuminated. Flames swirl from the dragon perched atop the carnival tent and it bellows. The whole world shakes beneath it. Something in the distance seems to splinter, as if the roar alone is enough to cause this shadowy world to dissolve. The dragon draws its massive form forward and the ground trembles beneath it. When its claws reach the ground, lava oozes around each razor sharp talon. Flames lick its entire body but it seems unaffected by the heat. Unlike everyone trapped on the platform. It is still slowly turning and the sound of carnival music plays loudly around everyone, softened only by the residual sound of screams. There's no way to take on this monster alone; it's too large, too hot. Even magic seems like it wouldn't damage it, not with how far away the creature is and with how hot its flames are even from this distance. ...You'll have to get creative if you want to survive. Quote: The ground is splintering all around you and the cracks in the ground light up with fiery bursts underneath. There's no way to get off the platform safely--and no way to approach the flaming monster safely. But those cracks in the ground certainly look unstable...maybe there's a way to destroy the foundation the dragon is standing on without getting too close to it? Roll to damage the ground! If you have a fourth stage character, RNG between numbers 5-10! If you have a third stage character, RNG between numbers 4-10! If you have a second stage character, a Mauvian Senshi, or a full Youma character, RNG between numbers 3-10! If you have a first stage character, or a humanoid Mauvian, RNG between numbers 2-10! If you have a civilian or a basic Mauvian, RNG between numbers 1-10! Quote: If you roll between 8-10 you notice a large chasm next to you. There are plenty of rocks and debris that seem like you could throw it in to try and disrupt the ground. If you have magic, now would be a good time to let it loose! However you choose to attack the ground, you manage to cause a visible tremor to ripple across the surface. You can feel something shifting beneath the ground shift but, thankfully, the platform is resolute. If you roll between a 4-7 you notice a large chasm next to you. There are plenty of rocks and debris that seem like you could throw it in to try and disrupt the ground. If you have magic, now would be a good time to let it loose! Captain Wolframite It has been smog and heat and the searing sizzle of his own body and then, just in a moment, he felt water drench his body. Cool a d refreshing it seemed into the shredded fabric of his uniform and skin, dripping down his soaked hair and face. The flames went out and his dizzying vision stopped spinning and finally settled back into place.
Breathing deep, he looked up to Laven and to Tina beside him who was touching his back confused. He'd been displaced and forgot that as he had been in fire, they must have been at risk too. He had done nothing to protect them from the threat of fire and ask. Maybe they had gotten out of it themselves as they didn't seem burned. Just knowing that was a relief.
But it was more their concerned, creased expressions that showed worry for him and he looked at his dripping uniforms and arms and saw bonfire or charged fabric. "It - felt so real."
But it wasn't. It had been a cruel lie and he had failed terribly in overcoming it. Reaching out for both of their shoulder's, he heaved himself to his feet again. His senses came back and while his stomach was still tight and heart racing with all the fire nearby, he could see the culprit to his aging stop a stage, billowing out brimstone and he'll before them. If they didn't stop the creature, they really would all burn.
He didn't want such miserable, sheer agony as the way for these two to go. To even feel a little of that would be a nightmare.
"I'm sorry. Are you two okay?" His body was shaking from the adreniline in his system from hid panic and what little if his features that weren't covered by the wet hair sticking to his brow were pale. "Thank you - for getting me awake." His golden eyes looked to the pair of them. "We need to get -" His lips dry and mind still reeling. "We need to stop that thing, right?"

Sailor Adorea, Senshi of Optimism (Roll History: 7+4+6+2+4 = 23) It was with considerable huffing and puffing that Adorea finally made her way upwards. When she was able she switched from climbing to jumping, making use of the more agile abilities she had in this form. Alas, given how battered she was from all of the assaults that had occurred since she arrived in this 'place', the young senshi was all but spent. If she had to be relied upon to do anything with style or finesse at this point she was going to leave everyone disappointed.
Nevertheless, when she did finally see the lip of the chasm appear in her line of sight she gave a quiet 'yay' and sprang upwards.
However, having misjudged the height she needed to cover in this particular vault she sprang upwards and then promptly fell back down with an 'oof' only just catching herself on the lip of the chasm with her hands. With no other choice left, she let out more than her fair share of grumbles and began to haul herself the rest of the way over. She was neither dignified or subtle about it, groans quite audible as she finally got her legs over and then...just sort of rolled herself over onto her side.
Ow.
She could afford herself an opportunity to stare up at the otherwise dickish dragon though, staring at it through her visor for a few moments before picking up the nearest large rock and half-heartedly hurling it towards it's general direction. It was by sheer luck that it appeared to hit something useful, a tiny plume of smoke puffing out of the chasm beside her with enough force to alarm her.
"Nope, nope, nope!" she could be heard muttering and sure enough, the senshi was soon rolling front to back towards a safer part of the platform. One might have argued that she could have stood up and walked across more efficiently, but for now the senshi seemed more than happy to just let her legs and arms rest, the other softer but less abused parts of her could be smacked by the ground for the time being even if it did make for an odd sight.

Lieutenant Rakovanite Rolls: 10 + 2 + 3 + 8
He didn't have time to worry over Fettelite's pitiful moods when said moods were a huge waste of effort with zero practicality. It bothered Rakovanite immensely that it took almost nothing to make the other boy crumple into a useless heap. They were in danger. Not just Fettelite, but Rakovanite too. He should want to protect them. But his answer was to sink to the floor, cry, and expect Rakovanite to do everything.
And while it was true that if given the option otherwise, the Lieutenant wouldn't simply stand and accept death, he also had less experience in this regard than Fettelite. He was a lower rank, with less ability and strength, and he didn't know as much as Fettelite should.
It was frustrating. It was so frustrating.
And Rakovanite didn't have the ability to remedy it, could not even spend more than the moment he'd already given to snap at the other boy. Instead, he had to work with the other figures in this odd realm. They were near enough that he could see them starting to stifle the flames with the debris. They all had to work against the debilitating heat, they all had to face this monstrous creature, they all had to look the unknown in the eye.
Rakovanite started shuffling grit and debris into the chasm, smothering the flames, though causing plumes of scalding ash to erupt in its wake.
