Well we lost the gold in women's volleyball to Brazil. We had a great first game but then we fell apart in the last three games. Poor Hugh denied a gold medal team again. Silver isn't too bad but with the way they were playing it's a painful silver. Oh well, there's always high school volleyball to look forward to as my niece made the sophomore squad, which is better than then being stuck on the beginner freshman squad.

This happened last night.
I was setting up Descent 2 for the first time on my recent vintage build (after trying this on 7th), and ran into this duplicate CD Music entry on the bottom right. xd It never happened again, though. The photo is here.

I don't remember some things sometimes either. D:
.. is anyone else having a screwy time with the coding here in the guild? For some reason I can't do the "[ list ]" thing. And my underline coding is going way too far even though I've checked what I wrote three times already.. ugh.

Duuude, i'm totally forgetting everything D:! I thought reading was a good exercise for the brain, but it seems it's not enough. Time for some sudoku and crosswords mad Ah, and after a few hours trying, I gave up and ended asking my family about it. Oh, all the Alzheimer jokes, they will make sure I won't forget this moment for the rest of the week lol.
And I dunno about coding, I rarely use it. But it seems the dev notices were unlocked for a few minutes and there's a shoutout to a mom on the main page XD *goes to screencap for a funny memento*

Haha and yaa with all the dementias, you need some sort of brain activity that requires you getting feedback (like sudoku, like you said). This was part of my college exit thesis.. that thing was..long.

If anyone has any designs on seeing The Campaign I'd wait until it's on Cable for free. While it has some funny parts it was pretty meh overall. I enjoyed the afternoon out but I just didn't warm up to the movie.
In other news, I'm having thoughts of reviving one of a pair way old RPs of mine I used to run but never finished. One was a way over the top modern day adventure thing while the other was a bit of a futuristic mix of steampunk, old west, middle ages, feudal Japanese, and pure futuristic science fiction.

seeing this makes me sad...I miss it already... they really cut out a lot of the rhythmic gymnastics...sad they only showed 4-5 of them... wish i didn't work i could have watched it on youtube...

So I have all these notepads that I keep around for who knows what reason and this morning I randomly pulled one out to see what sort of stuff I had on it. I've been kind of wanting to write agaoft or the heck of it and wouldn't you know it that notepad I pulled out contained the notes to an old story idea I was thinking about last night. Now if only I could find the notes to a story I've been having an eleven year block with so I can get past the chapter giving me a lot of trouble with its flow.
I was near a building and I decided I was going to climb through a vent to get inside. It was as if I were in the video game Resident Evil Outbreak because after I climbed through the vent, I was in that one room where your characters start off in the one umbrella lab level. Anyways, I got on the platform thin and three other people came with me. There were four of us, three guys and one woman. As the platform started going down, the woman slipped and held onto the platform for dear life. I grabbed one arm and one of the guys grabbed the other and helped me pull her up.We had saved her life and we entered the elevator that would take us to the outside. As the door opened, I stepped out, and the exits were blocked and the final Uncle Fester (the guy from Resident Evil 2... he's the one that looks like uncle fester from the Addams Family.) Anyways, all I had to fight him with was a pencil, and the only way I could get out was to kill him. Somehow, the other three people got out safely, and the left without me, which I did not mind since I wanted them to be safe. They drove off in a white car, and the woman was standing outside on it.
I kept stabbing the monster with the pencil, and the people eventually came back and gave me a grenade launcher. I used it to kill the monster.
