Lia laughed, enjoying Kember's company immensely.
Meanwhile, Ambrose was busy feeling multiple blows to his ego and his love-struck mindset. Right, right...elf girl. Very innocent, very fragile, very...everything elf girl...
"Um...Yes, a drink would be lovely. And you're quite right. For any such thing like that to happen before marriage...It goes against everything we're taught as mature people." He said, wondering how the hell he managed to form those logical sentences when in his head he was going 'Damn...damn...damn...hell...so I have to marry her first?...Ok, that'll work...Wait, what? No, no, no, backtrack, backtrack...Wait, no, don't backtrack, I liked my first response...And she's going to think you've gone mad if you keep standing on her doorstep looking like a fool...'
So with a smile, he stepped forward, entering her house once more and praying to the God of Mercy that she'd take off those blasted earrings. They brought attention to those cute ears of hers and drove him crazy...damn it all to hell...

((Well dang! I didn't know you were on, Mitsuki, at the same time I was. I would have RPed with you.))
Lin smiled at Ambrose as he held the door open for her and she went inside her home. She tried to shake off the small sense of guilt she felt after she said what she had about nothing improper happening inside a young, unmarried Elven girl's living quarters. Her mind had instantly gone to earlier that afternoon, in her bedroom, with Dymetri. That had been improper. But the thing that Lin felt guilty about was that she was somewhat behaving like a hypocrite now. She had done some intimate things behind closed doors that she did believe belonged only between married individuals. However, she was also very intelligent and knew that she and Dymetri would never be able to marry. To marry, Elves needed to have a ceremony led by an Elder and a priestess of nature. She knew that wouldn't happen for her and Dymetri. So why should she wait for something that could never EVER happen?
Oh there was no point to worry about that now! Worrying wasn't going to fix anything right now, and she wanted to enjoy being home.
So, she went over to the counter in the kitchen and got out 2 glasses. "Would you like some lemon tea made with spring water, as well, Ambrose?"
She started making her own glass of tea and while she waited to hear Ambrose's response.

((go figure I'm gone a few days and it rockets >.>)) "Alright Ra when ever your ready I am." He Twirled his daggers as they gave off a shimmer in the dim light of the vents. Chris was tired of scurrying the vents like a rat, He wanted some action and her wanted it soon. He watched the guards each one never missing a step in their constant patrol. Like clockwork the ran the same route over and over. He was going to have to go after the first one carefully then the rest was up to pure luck.

[[I know I frown upon OoC posts in the roleplay, but I have some news. One, there's a new roleplay in the guild for anyone interested. Two, Victoria, our beloved VC, has computer issues, and won't be able to get online for about one or two weeks. Either someone wants to play as her characters, or we put them on auto-pilot for the duration of her absence. This is an announcement, and all discussion is to go to the OoC thread.]]

((Well... this is rather odd. Apparently I've been put in charge of Luna till IE get's back. I've never played a girl character before, so bare with me till my ghosting time is over.))
During this whole conversation, Luna had been patiently sitting on the desk, waiting to see how this would all unfold. Luna was having a hard time reading this Aurora guy, a rare first for her, but she could tell that he had decent intentions. But after the men had ranted on for what seemed like hours, Luna could hold back no longer. Every second they wasted talking here was another minute they could be using to storm Enlil corp. and get Ialo back! Luna's eyes went off to the side for the briefest of moments as she thought about Ialo, all alone in that complex, probably being restrained, or worse, tortured. With her arms crossed over her chest, Luna looked Aurora square in the eye and gave him a very annoyed response. "So are you in or not? We don't have all day you know! Ialo is just sitting there, having God knows what done to him, and we're just sitting here talking about nothing!"
All Alec could do was simply nod at what Luna said, agreeing with her fully on this matter. He had already been mulling over ideas for a plan of attack, and one in particular had struck him as a rather simple yet brilliant one. But he needed to make sure Aurora was on their side first before he said anything, so Alec kept quiet until he heard Aurora's answer.

Aurora snapped to attention, shocked by the response. "Yes, of course I am. Did I not just say moments ago that I would do whatever I could to help the Enlil boy? People on your side are so strange in the way they interpret things." He mumbled, shaking his head slightly. He pulled yet another cigarette from his pocket; this one was gleaming blue, and as he lit it and exhaled, a fine, silky blue smoke billowed from between his lips. Before the smoke dissipated, a strange and clearly mystical circle could briefly be seen.

Luna was actually slightly taken aback by Aurora's response, but still held her annoyed expression. They were still wasting time here and nobody had come up with a plan of action yet! Well... maybe Alec had tried, but Aurora had interrupted him before he could finish. This made Luna even angrier and she simply stared at the men until one of them said something intelligent that would help her to save Ialo.
Alec nodded his head at Aurora, pleased that they could finally continue with the attack plans. "Good, glad we got that settled. Now, Aurora and Nathan, look at this and tell me what you think." Alec walked up to the chalkboard where the map of Zurich was still drawn up along with the points that Nathan had pointed out that were on the outskirts of the company compound. Nathan pointed to this spot as he continued. "Ok, my thinking is that we can teleport to this location here to start. It's close enough that I can move us the rest of the way in but far enough away that we won't trigger any initial alarms. Once we're there though, we still need to get in. And I think I have an idea that Krauser won't expect." Alec then had the chalk draw up a basic sketch of an ordinary factory since he had no idea what the Enlil Corp. compound really looked like, along with a jagged line that represented the mountains. Alec set up four small stick figures on the mountain side and picked up the chalk himself for later. "Right, I assume we'll be out in the mountains somewhere since this is Zurich and all. Which tells me that most of the structure is gonna be underground, or at least the more secure parts. And if not, that's even better, cause we're not going in the front door anyway." Alec then drew a line from the stick figures to the factory that went through the ground and came up underneath the building. This was Alec's main idea. "One thing I've learned is that people don't usually secure the underside of buildings. So we'll tunnel underground and go in from underneath." Alec set the chalk down on the chalkboard's little sill and turned around to face the others in the room so he could hear their thoughts.
Luna simply stared at the plan in dumb amazement. This was so simple! How did she not think of this before? We'll just tunnel...
But then another thought punctured Luna's mind that made this plan useless by her logic. And since her bad mood was still lingering, she decided to voice her concern. "But that will take forever to tunnel all the way from that little spit of rock to the compound! And we don't have that kind of time!"
Alec just gave Luna a very exasperated eyebrow lift and sighed to himself. Alec then held his hands to his side, and before anyone would say anything, he had tunneled straight through the wood and concrete of the floor and down into the earth below. A few moments passed, and Alec sprang up through the floor a few feet away leaving a massively deep tunnel behind him. Alec simply looked at Luna and smirked slightly as he dropped a pebble he had picked up into the tunnel. It fell... and fell... and fell some more... and didn't seem to hit bottom at all. Alec's tone was confident with just the slightest hint of cockiness thrown in. "This is why you came to me and not the battle instructor, right?"
All Luna could do was stare at the holes Alec had left in shock. How the heck had he managed to do that in such a short ammount of time?!? After her moment of shock and awe was over, Luna just looked at Alec sheepishly, feeling slightly stupid for her outburst. "Oh... I see..."
Alec just smiled wide and patted Luna on the shoulder gently, knowing she was only thinking things though. "That's alright, you were just covering the bases is all." Alec then moved his hand over the holes he had just made, which caused them to close up and the floor and concrete to go back to how they were before. Once the repair work was done, Alec looked at the others in the room, waiting to see if they had any comments or concerns about his plan.

Nathan was very, very impressed with Alec's tunnel. Why, that magic was more powerful than some of the machines he had rolled out together with Ialo!
He raised his hand. "Yes, about the tunneling..." He took a second piece of chalk, and after erasing Alec's rendition of the building with the back of his hand, redrew the Enlil Corporation's building, but much larger. After all, Nathan was going to pack a lot of detail into this.
The man had done much drafting, his strokes were fine and each line was perfectly shaped. After a minute, the building became very tall, and subtle lines showed the exterior walls to be panels of glass, while a smaller adjoining building was plain steel and concrete. A quick line represented the ground, and beneath it, a perfectly drafted map of the underground facilities, such as the lab and testing site.
Nathan stepped book and pointed to various marked points on the impromptu map, made from his nearly infallible memory. "Sorry, got carried away. But I thought it would be important for you to know before where the weak points in the system are - well, were. Isn't that right, Ophiuchus?"
Ophiuchus, one of the healers of MFHS along with Ella, nodded. He had slipped past Alec's magical safeguards to sit in on the meeting. After all, this is what he canceled Lin's independent study that evening for.

Alec brightened up as Nathan drew out a much more comprehensible map of the Enlil Corp. complex, and was quite relieved when he pointed out what he thought were the weak points. But then Alec's face fell when he heard his last statement. "Wait, were? You mean this place has changed?"
And Alec actually jumped slightly when Nathan said Ophiucus' name and he actually turned to see him sitting on a desk nonchalantly. Alec was getting quite irritated with people just barging in uninvited. Then again he probably should have set up some kinda barrier if he had wanted to prevent this kinda thing. Alec couldn't hold back and voiced his opinions to no one in general, though he tried to aim them at Ophiucus. "Ok, seriously, people need to stop sneaking in here when we're having a meeting like this!"
Luna whole heartedly agreed with Alec's statement since she didn't notice Ophiucus come in either. She decided to actually do something about it, and spoke out on the group's behalf. "I completely agree." And with that, Luna held out her hand towards the classroom door, causing it to freeze and a 3 inch layer of ice to form on either side of it. Luna flipped her hair back in annoyance and looked back at the others in the room. "There, all better. Now can we please get on with this?"
Alec just nodded at Luna as she froze the door shut. "Thank you, and yes, we can." Alec looked back at Nathan and directed his question specifically at him. "Like I was saying, 'were'? Has this place changed since the last time you were there?"

"I didn't sneak in,"Ophi remarked. "I did nothing to mask myself, perhaps you're just deaf." This was clearly pointed at Alec, but not in any sort of malicious way. The White Serpent was witty, but rarely cruel. Besides, now was not the time for that.
Nathan cleared his throat to draw attention back to himself. "Thank you for sealing the door Luna," he said graciously.
"Now, about the building. It's been about four years since I was the Director, so it's very possible things have changed. Not the general layout of course, you'd have to destroy and reconstruct the building to do that, but never mind..." Nathan stared at his map, wiping the chalk dust off his hand onto his black trousers. He didn't even notice. "So, yes, we'll go in through the basement and quickly make our way upwards to the main floors of the building. Although, I still think walking in the front door would be much easier. Why, even crashing through the upper windows."

Aurora listened intently as Nathan spoke of entering the building. "Where would you believe your son to be held though Mr. Enlil? I think that is the important question that we've so far overlooked. Entering through subterranean means may sound like the perfect entry, but what if the basements are laden with traps and we die minutes after arrival? And if we walk in the front door, we're liable to be killed on the spot. As for crashing through the upper windows, this may just lead to us becoming surrounded, depending of course on where we enter, by a force greater in numbers than our own and more knowledgeable of the battlefield." He paused momentarily and took another puff from his strange blue cigarette; as he exhaled, a valve on his left gauntlet slid open and immediately sucked every last bit of the smoke inside. The gauntlet flashed from its metallic red to a lustrous blue for just a moment. "Now, as to how we should approach this, I'm at a bit of a loss. If this place is extensive as you say, we can expect it to be brimming with opposition. Then of course there's the problem of finding a single man in a skyscraper; a single man that has most likely been hidden away, might I add. Specifically as for entry, I was quite partial to the rooftop entry originally, but I'm now beginning to have second thoughts."

Nathan crossed his arms and leaned against the blank portion of the chalkboard. "Well, the labs are on the higher floors, but I've no way of knowing where exactly..." Suddenly Nathan smiled and closed his eyes, looking very much like an aged, wily fox. "Of course, there's nothing wrong with trial and error!" Although, he did pick up the chalk again and marked the floors were the labs were. No sense in wasting time searching where he wouldn't be.
Ophiuchus snorted softly. He was concerned for Ialo as well, but the whole escapade was somewhat amusing. "For all your careful planning, you've such a gung-ho attitude. I like that." It was very refreshing compared to Ialo, who often paralyzed himself while trying to get everything right the first time. "And of course, since you're human, I suppose that leaves me with the hard work."

((Phew! Planning takes a long time to type out! *flops down on the ground*))
Alec nodded at Aurora, agreeing with most of what he said, except for maybe the bit about how the tunneling would be too dangerous. "All good points Aurora. Although if we did tunnel I'd make sure we'd go slow once we got close to the basement walls." Alec paused as he thought about the other options that Aurora had brought up about the roof and the front door. "...although I'm starting to have second thoughts about it too. Hmmm."
Luna on the other hand was focusing solely on the areas that Nathan had just drawn up on the board. So that's where they might be holding Ialo? Luna's heart began to beat slightly faster as she the realization that she was slowly getting closer to him hit her. Luna's mind immediately raced with thoughts of her barging in through some steel door, barreling through a pack of scientists and smashing open whatever case Ialo was being held in. Ialo would come to, and be overjoyed to see that it was her who came out all on her own to...
But then Luna realized that she wouldn't be all on her own. She had these other guys that would be helping her to get in, and possibly take care of the guards. Luna began to wonder if she would be able to sneak away from them halfway through the break in to go and find Ialo.
...But wait... what if they...
Luna immediately voiced the thought that just popped into her head as she looked over the several entry points on the map that the others had talked about. "What if we split up?"
Alec could only stare at Luna in disbelief at the ridiculous statement she made! "Split up?!? How will that..."
...but then Alec stopped himself. Luna had made a really good point now that he thought about it! Most everyone in this room could handle themselves in a fight, so why should they all go in through one entrance and draw attention to all of them at the same time? Alec did a double take and looked at Luna like he had just had an epiphany. "...you know, that's a really good idea actually!"
All Luna could do was look at Alec and smile as her small suggestion registered in his head. She was mostly glad that she now had an excuse to run off and try and save Ialo all on her own, but she also liked having her ideas regarded as being viable. "Why thank you Alec!"
Alec just smiled back at the young woman sitting on his desk. "No, thank you!" Alec then walked up to the chalkboard and began to draw lines from the stick figures that were still drawn up on the side to the compound. Alec kept the line going under ground and added a few more, one going in through the roof and another one going in through the front door. Alec's mind began to race with a rather elaborate plan, but one that would probably work quite well for what they wanted to do. Alec tapped the his hand on the chalkboard once before he elaborated on said plan.
"Alright, here's my thinking. We can split up into at least 3 groups, maybe 4 depending on what Ophiucus prefers to do. One group can go in through the underground, another will go in through the roof or the windows, whichever works better for them, and a third will go through the front door. This way if any one of us sets off an alarm, it will draw attention away from the others that are inside. And if all of us set off an alarm, then their forces will be stretched to handle all of us in different areas of the compound." Alec pointed at Aurora as he motioned to the roof area on the map. "Aurora, since you liked the roof idea originally, I think you should go in through there if you're able to. I can give you a lift if you need it, but I'd rather not have to so we only draw attention to one group at a time. Plus since the roof seems to be closer to the labs that would tell me that there's gonna be more security there. And, to be honest, you look like the kind of guy that can handle himself with lots of pressure, right?" Alec now motioned at both him and Luna as he continued. "Me and Luna can go in through the basement. I think we can use the tight corridors and probably less used areas of the underground to our advantage. I can cause most of the guards to come to me and leave the rest of you unattended if I make a large distraction. Aaaaaand I figure taking out the main power generator would be a good distraction, right? I know cutting power might put Ialo in danger if they have him in some kind of testing bubble or something, but I'm pretty sure they'll have a back-up power supply for most of the important systems anyway. I'm also assuming the generators somewhere below ground, so if I'm wrong please let me know."
Finally, Alec pointed at Nathan with a bit of regret in his voice as he pointed to the front door. "And for the more risky job of the front door, I think Nathan should have it. I know, it sounds crazy, but hear me out. Krauser will most definitely recognize him, and might want to kill him on sight. But Krauser has Ialo, your son, which means he would probably want to keep you alive for just that reason. If he has you and he wants some kind of information from Ialo, having his dad would give him quite a bit of leverage in that matter. Which means that as soon as you go in, you can assume that you will be captured Mr. Enlil." Alec looked solemn as he continued with his plan. "And I know it's risky, but it's also going to be helpful to us. If Krauser takes you hostage, he'll probably want to keep you somewhere secure. And if it's not Ialo's holding area, then it'll probably be somewhere close by. And that's why you'll have this on you." Alec held his hand out in front of him, and something rather odd happened. Vines and roots grew out of his sleeve and began to twist and twine themselves in the palm of his hand. Within moments, they had formed the shape of a small, sturdy looking flower. And with a small flash of light, the shape of the flower turned into the flower itself. It would almost be mistaken for a walnut if it weren't for the red coloring and the small petals coming off of the sides of it. Alec held the small flower out for everyone to see. "This is an extremely rare breed of plant that grows in the hot jungles of India. The natives call it the Fire Bulb, for obvious reasons. But what a lot of people don't know is that it sends out a very unique kind of spore into the air. The plant itself gives off heat, but it's the spores that do it. These spores can linger for hours, and are just as hot as when they started out in the plant. I can track those spores wherever they've been fairly easily, meaning I can track you wherever you've been in the compound Nathan. So even if the layout has changed since you were there last, we'll still know where you are. And since this is a plant, it won't set off any alarms if they scan you for anything." Alec set the bulb down on the desk next to where Luna was sitting before he turned to face Ophiucus. "But just to make sure nothing goes screwy, I'd like you to tail Nathan as best as you can Ophiucus. I'm not sure how good you are at that, but you seem like the only one in here who would have a shot at it. If anything goes south, you need to protect Nathan, get him to safety, and try to get up to the labs where they're probably holding Ialo."
Alec then waved his hands over his desk and 5 sets of small radio headsets began to weave themselves together from out of the air. Alec took one and placed it in his ear, demonstrating how they worked. "Each of us will have one of these so we can keep in contact. Nathan, unfortunately you won't have one to start with since it will definitely set off some kind of alarm. If things go south, Ophiucus will have your headset and hand it to you before he gets you clear of any danger."
Alec began to motion to each of the entry points he had laid out before he went over his plan in short one last time. "Ok, here's my best case scenario. Me and Luna go underground first and wait near the power generator for Nathan. Nathan, you go in through the front door, where Ophiucus will follow and signal me as soon as you're both inside. When he does, me and Luna will blow up the generator which will hopefully draw attention away from everyone else. If Nathan goes undetected by Krauser, I'd like him to try and get into the mainframe and see if he can find out where they have Ialo. While me and Luna are taking care of the guards, Aurora can take the roof or the windows and start to make his way down. If Nathan's been forgotten, then Ophiucus can hand him his headset so he stays in the loop. Now if Nathan does get captured, or worse, attacked, then Ophiucus will tail him and make sure he stays safe. Aurora will have to try to get to the labs and find Ialo on his own if Nathan does get captured. Now if Ophiucus happens to pass something that he thinks would be where Ialo would be held, then he should make his way there and see if he can get in discreetly. I can still track Nathan if he's been captured as long as he keeps that Fire Bulb on him. Me and Luna will also be trying to move up to the labs, but only if Aurora or Ophiucus calls in that they need help. Me and Luna are distractions first, backup second. Now, no matter what happens, we need to get in there, get Ialo, and get everyone out safely." Once Alec had finished laying out his plan, he turned around to face everyone and see their reactions. "So what do you guys think?"

The thought of cutting the power scared Aurora just slightly, and he voiced his concern. "Alright Alec, there's something I'd like to point out. If we cut the power to this building, what if there is no back-up power? Not only could we be killing the very person we're attempting to rescue should he be hooked into some sort of support system as you suggested, but we would most certainly be putting ourselves at a major disadvantage; personally, my night vision is terrible, these people are most assuredly going to have some sort of night vision system set up for everyone or their weapons in the very least and any aspect of stealth we could hope to gain would then be thrown out the window." He paused and took another drag from his strange cigarette. "I don't know, there's just something about killing the power that seems way to ******** risky to me. I don't think it should even be considered to be honest. I've died on this side before, it's not fun; and if I do happen to die, I'll come back, you won't."
