 Sapphire grimmace as she walked down the street, stuffing her hands in her trenchcoat. Her stomach had been yelling at her for blocks now, it was getting a little annoying. Finally a chinese place came into view and she brightened a bit. Hopefully they weren't completely expensive. She could go for some chicken...wonton soup....Rhinos? She had to do a bit of a double take to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Yep, a giant rhino walking down the middle of the street. Surely she wasn't this hugry...was she? Well, wait. Didn't Spider-Man mention something about a Rhino once? Maybe?
Boy he was big. Erm, well, he didn't seem to be doing any harm...she'd just go on about getting something to eat. And why did she feel like she was being watched? Jeeze what a day. Ya know what, forget it. She had been jumping around buildings all day, hit with laughing gas, knocked around, shot at with spikes, nearly suffocated...she deserved a nice peaceful meal.
Unfortunately the moment she opened the door, letting it crack open ever so slightly, she got that feeling and stoped dead in her tracks. She didn't have Spidey's handy spider-sence, but this tiny instinct was close enough. That eerie little feeling you get that pretty much screams don't go in there. And usually the feeling was right.
Oy vey. Stay out here, empty stomach, with a giant rhino walking towards you, and feeling like you're being watched . . . or go inside where there's food, and heaven knows what else.

"Well, they're divided into to factions," Deadpool said, toying with another fry, "One side, called the X-men, who try to protect humanity in spite of they way they're treated. You know, the self sacrificing heros. The other side, the Brotherhood of Mutants, wants to have mutants at the top, or have the humans gone altogether." He shrugged. "Honestly, both sides take themselves so seriously that they're asking to be made fun of."

"Hey...You look familiar..."
Rhino had noticed that blue dressed person almost going into some Chinese place and upon a closer look; she seemed to be dressed a lot similar to Web Head. Rhino didn't exactly know who she was, but she didn't seem to be spying on him and she wasn't exactly wearing red like Web Head, so she was fine to him so far. Rhino stepped towards her and looked at the place she was going in, wondering why she was just standing with the door cracked open. Rhino didn't want Chinese, so he wouldn't push her out of the way to go in; he couldn't fir through the door frame anyway.
"This isn't a bar..."
Rhino grumbled a bit and kept walking down the street; he was in the mood for seem alcohol, not Chinese food and whatever this girl's problem was didn't concern Rhino yet. The great part about being currently unemployed was you didn't have to try to stab someone with your horn when you saw them.

 ENTER from New York.
The man kept walking until he came to a part of the city that looked quite unfamiliar. He paused a moment and glanced around curiously. Well now, this was something. He knew he'd been in a new part of the city before, but not here. He glanced around a bit more befire pulling the side of his trenchcoat back, letting a few of his small moths flutter out and into the air. Let them explore a bit, see if they could find anything lying around that he could use. He heard a bit of commotion comming from down the street and spotted two people outside of what looked like a bar. They swung at each other, but apparently were too out of it to even fight. After a few swings in the air, they both fell and lay on the ground. They soon got back to their feet and walked, er tried to anyway, off as if nothing had happened.
The man rolled his eyes and shook his head. What idiots. A few drinks was fine by him, but really, who intentionally drank that much. More importantly it made the blood taste absolutely aweful. He turned to walk off in the opposite direction, but abruptly stopped. Not far from a resturaunt, chinese apparently, was what looked like a Rhino. Now that's certainly something you don't see everyday. He stood there and watched the thing for a few moments, not sure if he should go about his day or call a zoo. Wait, was it...walking on two feet? A human maybe? Perhaps some team's mascot had gotten lost.

"Really? That's interesting. Sounds like the old Justice League of Europe. Any group that has a man whose power is simply to stretch his limbs out as far as he wants is begging to be persecuted, as far as I'm concerned." Joker remembered his meal and went back to it.

Two more people had entered the street close by the Chinese restuarant.
One looked like a... Rhino? and the other looked pretty normal. Looks like the party's here. Batgirl thought to herself with a hint of enjoyment. She slipped out of the shadows for a split second to catch a better glimpse and find a better hiding spot to wait until she was needed.

Sapphire glanced up at Rhino a minute. Looked familiar? She wasn't in her costume or anything, and she hadn't seen the guy when she was out of it either. She watched him walk away from her then looked down at the doorknob...then could swear she felt her heart stop. She must have still been half out of it when she tried to put street clothes on over top of her costume. She had shoes, jeans, trench coat....but she forgot about a top. Blue spandex and a black spider sitting right there for anyone to see.
She jumped a bit and quickly turned from the door to button up her coat to try and hide it. "Idiot!" she hissed under her breath. Then cringed a bit hoping that she didn't say it very loud. Her cringed tightened when the door she'd been holding onto slammed shut behind her. She stood still a moment feeling quite embarassed. Such a wonderful day....

Batgirl saw thw girl fluster over her shirt. It was so easy to read people when they showed their emotions like that. She was wearing normal clothes but her top looked like something a hero or villain would wear. Blue, with ab lack spider in the middle. The Blue Widow? Batgirl guessed in her mind, The Turquoise Tarantula...? No... I'm sure that's not right... Silently Batgirl crept closer, maybe this girl would turn out to be a hero and answer some of Batgirl's questions. When she was standing next to the girl, Batgirl asked quietly, "You don't belong here... do you...?"

Sapphire jumped again when she heard a voice and quickly spun to see who it was. Luckily it wasn't the the Rhino guy, hopefully he hadn't heard her earlier. The girl didn't seem to pose a threat. Still, the girl's costume looked a little...dark to her. Man she was starting to wish she had Spidey's spider-sense.
"No...not really." she replied.

 Batgirl stood still and watched the girl's reaction. "Where are you... from?" Batgirl asked in a cool tone. She silently hoped the girl wasn't too frightened. It sort of came with the whole "Bat-family" persona. She still couldn't figure out whether the girl was good or bad, still, she could milk a little information out of her.

"New York" she replied, glancing around. She spotted the Bugle in the distance and motioned towards it. "I just uh, walked out of my appartment and stepped out in this place." she continued. She didn't want to say too much, she still didn't know who this woman really was. Full face maske looked a bit mennacing to her, but it was too soon to make a judgement call.

Batgirl glanced up quickly then snapped her attention back to the girl. The Bugle wasn't there this morning and New York was in Batgirl's world as well.
"So things have been... strange? when did you find... yourself here?" She asked tilting her head towards the office once again.

'You have no idea...' she thought as she gave a small tired smile. She had to think a minute. How long was she out? "Yesterday." she replied. Second thought that would probably be strange if she just realized that her appartment had moved. She didn't want to explain that she started off in New York, then just teleported herself to her appartment because of exhaustion.

Batgirl nodded, "Well... This is Gotham City... Well it was, but things are... a little different right now." She continued without giving the girl time to speak. "I'm Batgirl... I'm the current guardian of this city." She wasn't exactly sure what to say after that and waited for the girl to reply.

Sapphire looked at her a moment, not sure what to say. She gave a quick glance down at her top, then back at Batgirl. She'd probably seen her costume anyway, and she didn't think she'd tell all this to a civilian. "Sapphire Spider." she replied a bit quietly, gripping the collar of her coat together. She wasn't sure wether she should mention Green Lantern or Green Arrow or not, then she'd have to explain how she knew them. She really wasn't sure where they were at right now.
"You....know a Green Lantern?" she asked. She wouldn't be able to get a good reaction with that mask, but she'd feel better if she thought that they were friends...or at least knew each other.
