Düthmér Ingeitum – Grumpy dwarf
Ponder, ponder?
Spinning at the voice, Düthmér pointlessly aimed the nozzle of his magic cannon at the winged figure. A warm blast of air, enough to blow all the glitter and a few feathers from him, erupted from the end of it. "Nah. It's just light and glitter magic. Harmless to everything. But that was one hell of an explosion." Loath to say anything else about it, Düthmér wandered along the edge of the lake, away from the party. It was late and he knew his contraption worked. The prototype was a success. Now to go and make something bigger, with more potential. What would happen with a twin barrel?

Kai blinked as the blast of air blew the dust off him and back into the air, "Thanks ... by the way, you wouldn't have happened to see a goblin about this tall," He said holding his hand above his waist, " rags for clothes, and possibly tainted by the blood of a dead earth warden." Kai followed behind the dwarf looking at the air cannon curiously. "Actually you wouldn't have seen a group of them ... about ten in total?" looking towards the woods Kai half expected to see 10 pairs of red eyes looking wickedly at the school, but thankfully saw nothing of the sort.

Quentin didn't know really what Marcos was so fussed about. Seemed that it was easy for him to misunderstand or confuse things. By him that meant Quentin of course. He stared into his glare, not letting go. Gold flecks... Was it so strange ? He really didn't understand, his own eyes were flecked. ''- Fine then. I'll be sure to take of notice of this... Color.'' He really was confused but kept shut. Why ? Did his friend hide something ? Quentin honestly didn't want to know. It was Marcos's choice.
He followed Dymetri as he swayed through the crowd towards two young ladies. Invitation-only clique. That was something. Quentin stood next to his friend, taking a look at the girls. His jaw clenched. Lin ? The jumping was amusing, at least it explained the noise he heard earlier. The person he found in front of him however... He didn't ask any questions. He'd learn about it on his own. ''- Nice to meet you too Alena.'' he firmly shook her hand before letting go. ''- It's a great name and although I've just met you, it seems to suit you very well.'' He was on the brink of pacing leg to another leg. It was an uncomfortable feeling, meeting new people, talking with them. He pondered what was with him, he who usually wasn't much of a conversationalist. ''That means it's Maggie right here.'' he turned, smiling timidly.

Maggie finished cheering, and let go of Alena to follow the elf. "Oooh.... this is so fun! Oh! HEY! GLITTER! It's raining glitter!!"
She waved excited at Quentin, as the boy acknowledged her. "Check it out, I'm shiny AND glittery now!" She cackled madly. "This is like, the best day ever! NO! Lucky would be... If I rigged the toilets again! Oh, I should do that!"

Alena smiled at Quentin and nodded her head in thanks. "Thank you for such kind words, Quentin. That is very sweet of you to say."
Her attention was quickly pulled back to Maggie as she started getting excited again and began to talk about the glitter. Alena couldn't help but giggle at her enthusiasm. She was so excited that she didn't even respond to Dymetri! Oh she adored fairies.

Dymetri raised an amused eyebrow and pursed his lips. "I see I've met quite the delinquent. Why, Maggie, just look at you-- all shiny and such. It's a marvelous sight. However, you're making poor Quentin uncomfortable. Just look at him!" He looked at him and smiled. "We're all magical here, yet there isn't a person to make things more relaxed at the flick of a wrist! Wouldn't that be something? I've seen many things, but the most practical power seems to be nonexistent."
