Maggie was quiet for a minute, stroking her chin in contemplation. She was far too oblivious and carefree to take offense from Lin and Lin. She began muttering under her breath, rapid-fire, as many names that came to her.
"Alena, Ming, Parvana, Gwenyth, Eulia... dammit brain, my pride as a fairy is at stake here!" She tugged on her hair impatiently. Fairies were supposed to be good with names! That's why so many of the older faires got elected to choose names for newborns or converts - but - auuuuugh.
"Here!" she said, and held out up her palms, casting a fairy spell. With a loud pop and a bit of harmless smoke, a fatly rolled up scroll appeared in her hands. "This is my copy of one of the naming scrolls. It's mostly English names, but it should be a good enough start. Just give it back to me when you're done."

"That may be, undesirable characteristics are still characteristics. But not if they have possibly deadly consequences!" he chuckled. The light golden flecks in his eyes seemed to grow larger as time continued, becoming rings around Marcos's natural green eyes. Dymetri waved off Quentin's reply. "Not at all, friend! In fact, that sounds like a rigorous journey. It'd do you well to catch some rest, even if it may be at a party. But, as you can see, my guests aren't fond of ruckus, so you'll be fine." He has a great smile, was the thought at the back of Dymetri's mind. "Certain kinds? And why is that, developed a fear for venus flytraps, have we?" he asked, amused. You can't shut me up forever. There has been a lot of things that I couldn't have done but I did. Like manage to have a public girlfriend that you basically proposed to in front of the entire school yet flirt with some dude that smells like trees? First off, boy, I'm not flirting. This is a friendly conversation. Secondly, you do not know the intensity of which I wish to rid myself of you and rid you of me. But, unlike your thoughts, death isn't on my to-do list. In his mental gabble, he noticed his guest quicken the growth of a white rose and place it upon his chest. Picky about flowers? Dymetri searched through his memory to find what he knew about this particular kind. Innocence, silence, secrecy, youthfulness. No, this won't do. "The flower is lovely, and you may settle it on yourself for the duration of the party, but I need you to understand the symbolic nature of my gifts." Dymetri created a crocus, much like the purple ones that he gave to the rest of the guests, but this one was white. "This represents the happiness I wish for you. The cheer I hope for you to have. We all need a bit, some more than others." His smile was calm and sincere as he handed Quentin the flower. Soon after, his guest had finished his drink, and Dymetri wondered if it would be polite to offer him more of whatever he was drinking. As his mouth opened, he watched his guest pull out a vial and explain to him the reason for it. "You've nothing to hide, Quentin. Each of us had something here that, maybe, we weren't proud of or didn't like to flaunt or show to others. Meeting others similar to us have changed most of us. I can't speak for everyone, but I know that I'm happier." He smiled as if to stress the statement. "There are probably a few dungeons within Mystic Fountain. We have every type of creature here, so there's no wonder that one may fall toward the deep end. Fire-breathing? But of course, Quentin, I just mentioned 'every type of creature!' Our old Headmaster, Ialo Enlil, was half dragon, and don't dragons breathe fire? But you've nothing to worry about, if fire is your weakness, we don't usually harm one another. Unless they're a woman, then they'll do god knows what." Dymetri spared one more glance toward Lin Yin and her clone-twin-thing. They were conversing with Maggie. He almost giggled. At his mention of not experiencing school and his usual travel, Dymetri's heart almost paused. Perhaps this individual had more in common with his past life than he would have thought. He turned back to him with a slightly different look upon his eye, as if the friendly jib-jab was a cloak to hide the years, the wear and tear and the fact of his survival. "My story is a rather confusing one, so I'll simply state that I understand. And I'll be your friend."
((So, did everyone forget there was a weird guy that licks his wounds in the middle of the lake?)) ((Also, Lin, should the butterflies come now or after a few more posts?))

{{Sure! Now would be good. Just let me get this post in first. biggrin }}
Both Lins blushed brightly when Maggie cursed. They had never heard a fairy curse before, but it would be impolite to point this out to her. Besides, both Lins were also trying to get Maggie to pause in her speech so that they could reduce her stress. She had already stated a name that both found very attractive.
The twin spoke first while Lin the original looked at the scroll Maggie had handed to her. "Alena... That name is quite attractive! It is very pleasing to my ears. 'Ah-Lee-nah'. I prefer that name, I think."
Lin the original nodded and smiled as she read the name's definition. "In almost all countries, Alena means 'light'. It can mean different things in different countries, but almost all agree that it means light. In the Celtic origin, it stands for fair; good looking. Fair can also mean 'light'. I think this is the perfect name for you!"
Both twins looked at each other and then beamed over at Maggie. They leaned forward, hugged the fairy, and then pulled back. Lin handed the scroll back to her.
"Thank you so much, Maggie! You have helped us immensely."
The twin, now named Alena, nodded. "I concur. You have sacrificed your time and carefree ways for a time to help me obtain an original name. Thank you very much, Maggie."
Lin watched Alena and Maggie for a few more moments and then turned around to look for Dymetri. When she saw him over talking with someone new, she smiled and politely excused herself. She walked/glided over to Dymetri and wrapped her arms around him from behind.
"Please forgive my intrusion, but I was wondering if you would agree with me on this idea, Marcos. I was entertaining the idea of asking the butterflies, the same ones from earlier, to come out and join us for this party. I think now would be the ideal time. Everyone seems to be in a grand mood."

((Never heard a fairy curse? Well, they'll be getting an earful from Maggi then!))
Maggie stood in shock as Lin and Lin - ah, Alena - hugged her. A name. They had picked a name. A name that she said. The fairy broke into a stupid, silly smile. She did! She helped with a Naming!
"This... is... AWESOME!!!!" She jumped up and down excitedly, cheering for herself, whirled around a couple times, and grabbed Alena, swinging the elf in a circle with her.

drag0ntamer "Really now. Anything important that ive missed out on while i was gone?" He asked while staring out at the party that was going on outside. "Well lets just say when we got to Bai Ching we weren't welcomed at first......especially me since it is a girls school. But things worked out in the end. Was only able to see the outside of the building but it looked like an interesting school." "Naturally," Ophi said, amused by Shintero's story. He would have paid to see one of his favorite students get chased off a campus, if that was what had happened.
"Oh, Shintero, the things you've missed.... First and foremost, we have a new Headmaster, a most..." No. He couldn't even bring himself to be sarcastic, he hated the man's guts so much. "A most retched and horrid character. If you at any point have an opportunity to poison him, please do so."

((Thanks Cuwen ! I really love your twin plot =P)) Quentin readjusted his perfectly aligned glasses, cracking his cool behavior. He had already replaced the white rose, perhaps that particular flower could've held back some of its meaning, with the white crocus Marcos had given him. It was an interesting choice, especially the way he formulated its meaning. Youthful joy and merriment wasn't it ? Quentin smiled, beamed a bit even, the crocus was also known as the first ones to bloom in spring after all. That one was more for himself, his host wouldn't have possibly guessed already his woodlandish origins. He tempted following Marcos's earlier gaze, but remained focused.
''Thank you for the attention. I gladly honor your friendship and return you with my own. I'm confident about this school's policies, wouldn't want everyone to start shaking hell loose with all their powers, I won't worry much about my safety then. If you have time, maybe I can learn more about that story of yours and your possible aversion of gold.'' He paused, making a courteous nod. There was some noise farther back, cries of joy mixed with all sorts of jingle, somebody must've had received some good news.''Of course I-'' Quentin was cutted off by a young lady. He listened to her suggestion. Butterflies huh ? He'd joyfully love their presence right now. They were such admirable insects, present in many metaphors. Quentin was half expecting a handful of them flocking over him, because of his natural scent. Cutting off his wonders, he returned his attention to the girl.
She was the same or perhaps close to his apparent age. By the way she was holding Marcos, they were exceptionally close. A delicate couple.''A grand mood it is.'' Quentin allowed himself to talk, he crossed eyes with Dymetri. ''Have I known that I was keeping you off from such beautiful company, I wouldn't have showered you with so many details. Well milady, I suppose I'm in the presence of the co-host of this magnificent party.'' He slightly bowed, minding his manners. ''I'm Quentin. I can see that my new friend has already found his resolution in life.'' He harbored to idea of shuffling away, leaving them be. Besides, forming the word friend was strange. Consequences of leading a solitary life. Good thing they didn't see him moving around. Quentin wasn't exactly the graceful, ballet-like type that stories kept telling about his kind. It wasn't her intrusion that should be forgiven, but his own. ''You mentioned butterflies joining everyone ? That's a great idea.'' He smiled curtly, being more talkative than usual. ''I would love to see this.''

{{Thanks, Eternity! biggrin }}
Lin curtsied to the young man in response to his bow, removing one arm from around Dymetri in the process. When she stood back up, she let that arm fall gracefully to her side and simply kept one arm loosely wrapped around Dymetri's waist.
Lin smiled at the man and shook her head. "Yes, I am the co-host for this wonderful event. And do not be silly! Stay! I will leave you both alone soon. I simply came over to ask Marcos' opinion about the butterflies. I did not want to invite them to join us if he had something else planned first. Besides, Marcos and I are wanting to meet new people at this party. We spend much time together alone. This party is being held so that we, along with others, can mingle with people we don't know as well!"
She held out one of her hands to the man. "My name is Lin Yin."

Alena was overjoyed with Maggie's own joy and giggled in delight as the fairy twirled her around in a circle. This was so much fun!
"Maggie, I have missed you greatly! I hope you make your presence known more frequently in the future!"
She started jumping up and down periodically as she twirled in a circle with Maggie.

Düthmér Ingeitum – Grumpy dwarf *Mutter, mutter, grumble, grumble* Stupid party.
Trudging through the woods with a heavy pack on his back, wasn't the dwarfs idea of fun, Watching one of his inventions at work though, that was enough to warrant him to heave it to a secluded place away from anyone else. Dwarf secrets and all that. Stepping through a thick patch of bushes, Düthmér found himself looking over the lake to what looked like a f***ing party! With a short angry grunt, he dropped the contraption onto the ground, muttering under his breath. The f***? Why is half the school out here? What happened to the sane thing called sleep? It's almost one in the morning. F*** it, I'm going through with this test. Unraveling the canvas wrap from his device, he placed three pieces together and put his latest creation together. Lifting a nozzle attatched to it, he dropped in some of his more harmless ammo, aimed into the sky above the majority of the crowd and fired.
Pulling out his charmed weapons, he aimed the crossbow at the large shell he had fired and shot it out of the sky. As soon as the bolt struck, the shell exploded into a large green fireball which turned into glitter as it went out. Falling to the party below, the glitter grew small crystals where it landed on the ground, and stayed glitter when it landed on a person. The water glowed a soft green with a non leathal magic which would last till about morning, maybe noon at the most. The crystals would act like a warm snow, melting away with the glow in the water. The unreacted glitter was a different story. It would last until it was washed or removed. Smiling widely, Düthmér could call his magic cannon a success. There were other things that it could posibly do, but this was the one he had focused on first.
((Been a while since I posted last, so this was the best way that my character could get back into it. I also see Maggie getting on best with him, because she's everything he isn't.))

*GASP*
Ace bolted upright in his cot in the clinic, sucking down as much air as seemed humanly possible. Letting it out more slowly than it entered, he began to scratch and grasp at his chest in pain. A moan of pain followed quickly thereafter; it felt as though someone was twisting a knife inside his heart.
His eyes darted around the room, blurs of color smashing into his conscious mind. Rapidly his irises were changing color, as though they were absorbing the shade of everything around him as he saw it.
There was a woman. A woman he had never met before, but he felt like he had. She had been speaking to him in his sleep. Carrying herself very much like his lost mother, the woman found it easy to mold and shape his very thoughts and actions. 'Kill them. All of them.'
With a guttural scream, Ace kicked off of the cot and lunged towards Ophiuchus.

((OH MY GOSH. There's so much going on, lol.))
Dymetri smiled down at Lin. "Are you sure that you'd need to contact them," he asked. "Perhaps you could see if they're already on their way." He turned his attention to Quentin. "Hopefully everyone has the same idea about the butterflies as you. They're quite the sight. It surprised me to see them for the first time, actually. By now, I thought I'd have seen everything." At that moment, his party turned green. The more easily frightened guests, like the boy that was part fawn in the corner, almost scurried away at the sound of the blast. Where it came from, Dymetri didn't know, but when he saw the beauty that it created and took upon itself to share with his guests, he didn't put much thought into it. He looked around and saw small bits of green glitter surrounding marveled faces. They thought it was part of the party. Dymetri smirked. Sure, it was.. He heard small claps and laughter turn to applause. "Thank you, thank you," Dymetri called outward, mostly toward the person who had created the scene in the first place. With his hands extended into the air in grand excitement, a small stream of blue morphos butterflies poured into the scene between Dymetri's arms. The shower of green mixed with the forming circle of butterflies created quite the show, enough so that the crowd silenced and stood still, just how Dymetri and Lin had when they first laid eyes upon the creatures. Just like before, some butterflies dipped down to the dirt surrounding the lake, as if consuming the wet mud. There was no cheering now, but the silent indulgence of the beautiful scenery before them. "What do you think?" Dymetri said softly, asking Quentin beside him. He then looked upon Lin, who somehow looked even more beautiful with the green glitter layered atop her hair and cheeks. He smiled at her. He was going to be so popular.

{{There is... now a number 1 in front of each post... What is going on? lol}} Before Lin could respond to Dymetri's question about the butterflies, a loud explosion sounded behind her. She gasped and jumped back in response to the sound. The water from her pendant immediately formed a barrier around her. Glancing at Dymetri, she was very surprised to see that his pendant had not done so as well. Maybe the sound had not startled him, so the pendant had not responded as Lin's had. It didn't take long, though, for Lin to realize that the explosion was not harmful. In fact, it looked to be the type of explosion that came along with fireworks! Beautiful, glittering fireworks! Lin gasped and began to grin brightly as the glitter fell around the entire party. Some even landed on the top of her barrier. When her pendant felt her relaxed, joyful state, it made the barrier fade, which in turn caused the glitter to fall on Lin. It covered her cheeks, shoulders, hair... She imagined that she really did look like a mythological elf from one of those fairy tails now. She sparkled just like the elves in some of those childhood storybooks. In fact, she started to remember a movie she had watched with friends at Bai Ching one time. It was actually a story broken up into three movies, and it was based on a book trilogy. It had many elves in it, and they seemed to almost glow or sparkle when they were on the screen. Something about a ring if she remembered correctly. Well, now she was certain that she looked even more like those mythological elves from that movie series. It was fun! Lin held up her hands and caught some of the glitter that was still raining down from the sky. She giggled softly as it peppered her hands. Then, another magnificent thing occurred. The butterflies that she and Dymetri had seen earlier, the very ones she had asked Dymetri if she should invite to the party soon, came flying grandly into the party. The mixture of colors and sparkles was extraordinary. Even Lin was speechless, and she had seen many grand things at her home! Even at Bai Ching, she could witness a magnificent light show each night on the lake. But right now, all of the magic and wonder she was seeing all around her was one of the most beautiful sights she had ever been blessed to see. She was so surprised that the butterflies had come to the party on their own accord! She was used to butterflies being quite skittish around other creatures. They tried to avoid them. Perhaps the magical glitter actually attracted them to this large gathering of people. Lin turned her face toward Dymetri and smiled in awe. This was absolutely wonderful and she was so incredibly happy. This night couldn't possibly get any better.

((@Immature Excuse: You're right ! I wonder about Riser though. Now he's licking green glitter xD)) ''It's a pleasure to meet you. Please take care of me.'' That last part imitated the Japanese's way of saying yoroshiku onegai shimasu, a common expression that meant too many things. Quentin lightly shook Lin Yin's hand before falling his arm back at his side. He listened to Marco's words before hearing the bang. Instantly, he thought that he was turned back at his native forest, where he spent so much time observing nature at its work. Green. Green. Luscious green. His silver-flecked eyes matched the glitter that fell down on all the guests. This was going to ruin his white shirt.
He saw Dymetri's smirk, he doubted the cannon was his idea. They were talking about butterflies, not masking the whole place in Mother Nature's color. His friend had quite the self-control, Quentin didn't mind this unasked decoration. He watched in awe at the grand theatrics of Marco's moves, as many blue creatures seemed to flew out of his sleeves. He could almost hear trumpets and strings, playing a victorious fantastic theme.
''It's simply magnificent friend.'' he whispered back in the same tone. A couple of blue morphos butterflies landed on his shoulder. ''Especially with this green hue, considering my skin's naturally this color already.'' Quentin grinned. ''You'll certainly gain many favors from the student body now. I can almost grasp their amazed gaze and the filament of wonder and gratitude towards this whole party. All of this was perfectly timed, a véritable coup de maître.'' Just to put an accent, he slighty bowed towards Marcos and Lin Yin.
''Well Lin, you seem to have in your possession a very lucky and rare man. Better keep guard now.'' This was unusual. The whole thing certainly put him in a great mood to have him tease.
