Tsu stood for a second in complete confusion. First about how different everything had become. Then Hikari, or Hikari‘s double attacking him… He honestly had no idea what was going on. He turned to the azure skinned woman next to him but she only gave a shrug. Obviously, Hoshokusha had no idea what was going on either. Once the other version of Hikari was out of sight, Tsu turned to Keikoku. “Okay. What’s going on? What’s all this about, and why did she attack me?”

The Captain watched quietly at everything that had transpired. For now, he stayed as an observer, monitoring everything as it happened. “Very interesting…”

Keikoku sighed. "Hikari... means well. She really does... But for years, she has constantly hidden her true thoughts and emotions from everyone, including herself. In order to protect herself, she feels she needs to cast aside her negative feelings. However, in doing so, those negative feelings only grew, naturally. And eventually they became strong enough to break away from her main self, and became a seperate personality. That Hikari that we have just witnessed is that personality. She is simply a part of her that was locked away and rejected by Hikari herself. But she was set free when Roxas used his zanpakuto. She is full of anger and hatred for everyone, including herself. And now, this dark part wishes for revenge... to lock Hikari away and take over. If that happens here, the Hikari you know will be gone forever. Which is why we have to stop her!"

What to do, I want to help her, but I want to know what happen to him. I hate choices like this. He thought this as he looked up at the clouds. "Tell me, the thing that I am about to do, what is it about... I mean I do have the rights to know what exactly I am doing."

"You don't have to worry about, the full details, yet. Let's put it this way, the place where you belong will change drastically, if you don't help."

"You are going to play it like that huh." He then thought, Sorry Mozou but I must do this first then investigate the events that happen to you, but you are still alright. "Okay, tell me the whole thing about Hikari. You said something that has to do with her, didn't you."

"You sure...for once I do that there will be zero chance of me telling." He then waited for him to response.

"I am sure of it, I don't mind not knowing about him. After all, what you said earlier is enough for me."

"Very well then, what I am about to tell is something that cannot be spoken, rather I will demonstrate by using my doll. If you can follow me." He said waiting for the shinigami to follow him.

He then follow the bount to whenever he was going to take him. Why would a bount help a shinigami, weird?

"Now, as a precaution. I would like you to place your zanpakuto in front of the door. The only reason I say this is because my doll will strike if she sense your zanpakuto's spirit." After that was said he waited to see if he will do it.

"Is that so. Well I can't for you might lay a trap knowing that you are a bount and all."

Mozou

After Ayame left to the world of the living , and Damian to who know where he decided to have a feast outside the castle. As he walked he saw lower arrancar fixing the mess that he and the fifth one did. I can't believe that I almost lost too that lower Espada. He eventually reached outside, and saw two hollow fighting for their own life, and to eat the loser. He quickly use a bala, and defeated them both. He devoured them both, and as he did this he remembered the time that he and Ayame were like that, after the incident. He then continued to find more.

"You think that this is all a trap, after all my fellow bount did, you have a point. Or is it on what you did to us, that made us into the type of race that we are. Now, if you want the blonde shinigami to get rid of her bad self, then do as I say or else leave."

"My my. How very interesting!" Mayuri Kurotsuchi faded into existence inside the Lieutenant's soul space. "I wonder what would happen if the dark side was able to take over. Would the woman turn into an Arrancar?" The Captain continued his musings as he watched the fourth seat and the two Zanpakuto from a distance.

Would the woman turn into an Arrancar?" The Captain continued his musings as he watched the fourth seat and the two Zanpakuto from a distance.

"What Roxas did was a good thing, in a way. It's forced Hikari to finally deal with this. Before she was just running." Keikoku smiled slightly. "This was bound to happen from the beginning, and it's better that it happens now then to continue to let it grow. If it had been allowed to continue, Hikari would have lost herself in it for sure. Now, we should hurry and follow her!" Keikoku leapt up on the thorn wall and gazed down at Tsu and Hoshokusha, nodding at them to follow her.

-----------------------------

Hikari glanced around herself. "Where is this? I don't know this place at all. Am I really inside of my Soul Plain? Is it really mine?"

"Of course not! It's mine. Once I lock you away for good that is. He won't really miss you. Not when he has someone like me. I could be so much better than you, Hikari. I can make us so much better... but you know that already. That was why you locked me away. You're more selfish than I thought."

"I didn't lock you away!" Hikari protested. "I don't even know who or what you are!" Her eyes widened in terror as the other girl approached her. "Wait, no, stay away from me!"

"So it appears you do know after all... Good. You did lock me away. You rejected me as if you didn't need me. You tore yourself away from me as if you were better than me. But now look at you. Who's better now... sister?"

Hikari shook her head. "N-no that is not the case. I'm not better than you... I've never thought that! I just didn't want to face all of the pain and anger... hatred! I didn't want to feel those feelings anymore. I didn't want to hurt anymore. I'm not supposed to feel those things! And I don't want to remember the bad things!"

"I really hate you. You selfish, conceited little..." She reached forward and grabbed Hikari by the collar of her shinigami uniform. "You shove all of the pain and responsibility onto me and forget me while you go and live your happy little lie you call your life! The reason I suffer so much is because you won't accept me and won't be honest to yourself or others. Well... I'm sick of being hidden away. Your precious Tsu-kun wants to know all of your ugly little secrets. And he's going to find them... before I take him away forever. You will suffer as much then as I have!" She let go of Hikari and in place of her hands around Hikari's neck was a chain attached to a heavy ball. She turned away. "Good bye, Hikari."

"Hikari... I mean... myself... please, stop it! Don't leave me here! Stop! Don't hurt him! HIKARI!!!" She screamed after the other girl.

---------------------

The shaking had started, and Keikoku fell from the wall onto the ground once again. "Hikari!" She shouted. "This place is becoming dangerous. We have to hurry." She waited until the quaking stopped and jumped up once again, not looking back, trusting the others to follow her this time.

Tsu gave Keikoku a nod and used his Flash Step to follow Hikari's Zanpakuto. He didn't have to look to know that his own was following right behind him. He wasn't sure what he'd find when they got to wherever it was they were going, but he did his best to prepare for anything. No matter what it took, he was going to protect Hikari.

He wasn't sure what he'd find when they got to wherever it was they were going, but he did his best to prepare for anything. No matter what it took, he was going to protect Hikari.

Keikoku raced through the thickets of thorns, brushing the sharp tips away as fast as she could to keep going. They were tearing at her, but she ignored it and continued onward. I can feel it, Hikari is closer.

"Stop." The dark-looking Hikari stepped out. "Go no further. I don't want to have to kill you too."

"That's foolish, Hikari. Kill me in here and we all die, including yourself." Keikoku hissed at her.

A dark sneer appeared on her face. "Good. I welcome oblivion as long as it's a step up from the hell I've been through these past hundred years."

Keikoku's eyes widened. "You can't mean that you want to destroy yourself... really?" She studied Hikari's face.

"I don't know. You're my zanpakuto spirit. You tell me." She folded her arms and glared at Keikoku. "That is, unless I was able to fool even you."

"Where is Hikari?" Keikoku managed to ask.

"Right in front of you."

"No, not you. What have you done with her?"

Hikari's fists clenched and a tear rolled down her cheek. "So even you reject me, Keikoku...? Fine." She glanced up to see Tsu and Hoshokusha. "We're all going to die here, then none of you can hurt me anymore!" She pulled her whip out and it changed form into a corrupted form of Keikoku, Hikari's zanpakuto. Completely black. "I'm going to kill him. I'll reject him and kill him first! Before he can do that to me! Before he can fail me again!"

"Idiot! You honestly think that Tsurabisu would do that? No... it's you who is rejecting everyone else. Especially yourself!"

----------------------

Hikari had been struggling with the chain since her other self had left and finally, she had summoned up enough energy to use powerful kido to break the chain. She ran through the thickets of vines, not paying attention to the fact that they tore into her flesh and drew blood, ripping her clothing along with everything else. She finally spotted the clearing and she saw Keikoku, along with her other self. "Keikoku!" She cried, running up to her zanpakuto and embracing her.

"So you escaped, huh? Figured as much. It's a good thing too. I want you to watch me kill us all."

"Hikari... please... I'm sorry. I hurt you and rejected you." Hikari held out her arms. "Please... come home. Come back... to me. I won't run away anymore."

For a moment it looked as though her other self was accepting her plea, but then she bolted forward and slashed her zanpakuto at Hikari, energy from it knocking her back into a thorny bush.

"Hikari!" Keikoku ran to her side.

"I-I don't... under...stand... Hikari... why...?" It was all Hikari could remember saying before blacking out.

"You are really stupid. You rejected yourself. Remember? I don't want you and you don't want me. And I want everyone to die. Because I hate them." She turned away. "It's a shame you're down for the count. I was going to have so much fun killing everyone in front of you." She shrugged. "Oh well."

"Hikari, part of you wants to accept yourself and everyone else. The part of you that loves and not hates. She's right here. What can I do to get you to forgive her?" Keikoku pleaded. "Don't you want to be whole once again?"

Hikari hesitated and more tears fell. "Y-yes...I..." Her expression hardened. "No. No! You're trying to trick me! I'm not with her anymore! I won't go back! I'm going to fight you all first!" Her grip tightened on her zanpakuto. "So, Keikoku, going to fight me? Or will you do it, Tsu-kun? To be honest, I would rather fight you. If I kill Keikoku, it'll be the end right there and I wouldn't get the chance to indulge myself in killing you."

Yuu would have gladly went into Hikari's soul space yet it seemed like a better idea to send Tsu to begin with simply for the fact that they knew each other better. Hearing Nemu's words about the package being ready for Ukitake he couldn't help but smile a little. Taking the package from Nemu he smiled to her before speaking. "Thank you very much Kurotsuchi-fukutaicho this means a lot to me. Tell Kurotsuchi-taicho I appreciate it. Anyway going to bring this to him immediately. See you at either the next Fukutaicho meeting or when Ukitake-taicho comes in for testing. Bye." With a small wave and bow he was gone out of the facility and moving toward his Captain's private quarters as fast as his considerable speed took him. A few moments later he entered inside and bowed to Ukitake who was laying down because of his worsening condition. "Ukitake-taicho I have just returned from the Twelfth Division's labs and received this package for you. Please take it Kurotsuchi-fukutaicho said it would make you feel better."

Ukitake sat up as Yuu entered with the usual smile on his face waving off the Lieutenant's bow and listening to what he was saying. "Really. That was so nice of them. It's good to see you Yō-fukutaicho. Let me take this real quick then we can talk for a little while." Taking the package from Yuu Ukitake took it then immediately could feel it begin to work though it would only be a short term fix to the problem. Afterwards he began talking with Yuu in a friendly tone coughing much less than normal though he still had the occasional fit.

Soifon returned to the Commander's Office to see if there was anything else that was needed of her for the moment already figuring he would have her escort Haru to Tsu's location. "Was there anything else you needed Sotaicho?"

The Captain-Commander looked up from his desk as soon as he felt the second squad's Captain enter the room. "Yes, Captain. You are to escort the student Haru Touben to the Research and Development building where Substitute Instructor Maruchinu is. I want you to have one of your men keep an eye on the two for the remainder of the day. If Maruchinu proves that he can handle the boy himself, then you may call back your squad member."

If I kill Keikoku, it'll be the end right there and I wouldn't get the chance to indulge myself in killing you."

Tsu shot through the air following Keikoku. He pushed out with his spiritual pressure to move the thorns out of the way. As he followed the Zanpakuto, he could feel Hikari somewhere close, traveling toward them. Suddenly, she was there in front of them. But it wasn't the Hikari that he had known his entire life. He silently watched the other Hikari and Keikoku as they talked. Before he could say anything, the real Hikari ran up and embraced her Zanpakuto. They talked for a few more moments before the Dark Hikari attacked. Tsu couldn't stand by and watch this. He used his Flash Step to put himself between the two Hikari. As much as he wanted to go to his Hikari's side, he had a feeling that it would be a mistake to turn his back on this one. "Hoshokusha, check on Hikari. stay with her, will you? I'll deal with this one."

Tsu took a few steps toward the Dark Hikari and drew his sword. "If you truly want to fight, then you fight me." Tsu glanced back at the unconscious woman laying on the ground before turning back to the Dark Hikari. "Truth be told, I never thought I'd draw my sword against you. Against Hikari... And maybe I don't have the right to. You say that you're the feelings that she has hidden all these years? Well, I guess I can believe that. After all, I was there back then. I know how she was before that attack. I know how she changed after. I had always thought that she was a little too nice. Now I know why. I wasn't there that day. If I had been, maybe things would have been different. I understand why Ayame hates us for it, and I can't expect you to feel different. Infant, from what you've said, I can understand why you'd feel worse."

Tsu pulled his black bandanna from his kimono and tied it around his forehead. This was going to be a hard battle and he didn't want to lose because of something like blood or sweat getting in his eyes. "I'll make a deal with you. If you want to fight, then we'll fight.
