"Umm...." Seven paused, not quite sure how to answer that. "Well... I think you'd have to see to believe. Why don't you come outside with me?" She gestured for Alec to follow her out to the main courtyard.

Once they were out there, she pointed to the sky. "I'm going to call 005, I think.... he's the most suited for a race."

Lin smiled brightly as she saw the recipe for the potion she had wanted to learn how to make from Professor Akakios. She hadn't thought in a million years that he'd give her the recipe to make it. Guess she either wore him down or he was becoming really tired and not thinking straight.
So, she got some beakers and the ingredients and started to mix.

Alec was a little apprehensive about suddenly meeting one of Seven's siblings, but he trusted her, so he took her hand, giving her a shaky, "Okayyy?" as he walked outside with her.

Lin couldn't believe that she was actually, finally making that potion she had wanted to learn from Professor Akakios. It was the potion he had used to heal her completely after she and James had come out of the hell hole, or whatever it had been. She had been so fascinated with it, but Professor Akakios hadn't wanted to show her how to make it. But now, here were the instructions sitting right on his desk. So, she had decided to make it right on his desk next to the note, as if she was scared to touch it and move it.
She had a large beaker out, a Bunsen burner, and several ingredients. Some she had only worked with once, some not at all. She knew what they all were, though. No wonder it was such a powerful potion. Unicorn horn dust? Piece of sapphire gathered in a mine at dusk? She was surprised that a school like MFHS would have such rare ingredients.

"Interesting technique," a voice behind Lin suddenly said. "You have quite a style when it comes to making potions."
It was Professor Akakios, standing behind Lin as though he had been watching her from the beginning - which, he had been. The clinic and the adjoined classroom and office were all his domain. Even when he was across the campus, he knew everything that went on in those rooms, like magic.
Except, something was different about him... It was Ophiuchus, but rather than his pure white hair, it had been turned black - it wasn't much of a rebellion, but he wanted to be as unwelcoming to Silas as possible. Hence, not only had he turned his hair black, but he was also wearing dark, muted robes, and a small garden snake was weaving itself between his fingers as he watched over Lin's shoulder.
"Do all... elves have this touch in healing?"

While the first few ingredients were simmering over the burner, Lin took off her pendant and dabbed a tiny drop of water from it onto the desk. She murmured a few elven words and a small water viewing portal sprouted up. On the other side was an image of Headmistress Krause in her office at Bai Ching. If she was busy, then the portal would simply record Lin's message and give it to Krause when she was free.
"Professor Krause, I have the most amazing potion to share with you! I believe that this will make my stay here worthwhile! This potion helped cure me in a manner of hours, completely cure me! I did not think that Professor Akakios would ever share the recipe with me, but he has! He left it in a note on his desk. I am going to share the recipe with you now, Headmistress Krause, so that you can use it to the benefit of Bai Ching. I... I have heard about the barrier around the school and the troubles you all have been facing. I sincerely hope and believe that this potion will be able to help you all."
Then, Lin began to list off the potion's ingredients and then the brewing instructions, word-for-word from the note. Her mouth almost tingled simply from reading it out-loud.
When she was done, she looked back at the water portal and grinned brightly. "I know that it is very surprising for Mystic Fountain High School to have these sophisticated of ingredients and such an excellent potion, but as I said, this might be the one thing to make my stay here worthwhile!"
The portal created a rushing sound of water, so she did not hear Professor Akakios walk in or say anything. She was so focused on the potion and relaying the recipe that she also didn't see him enter the infirmary. Her eyes were fixed on Headmistress Krause.

((I'd love to post right now, but I am doing some homework that I cannot put off until I am done because I'm not sure how long it'll take me. I don't want to hold this scene back, though, so just assume Arielle is busy. Because she is, actually.))

Krause is in a meeting with Raigin, so that's why I included the part about the water portal recording the message for Krause later if she was busy right now. She can watch it later and get back to Lin. smile }}

Seven blinked, staring at Alec, and then smiled. "He got here very quickly." She pointed to the sky, and her finger dropped, slowly, until she was pointing behind Alec, at... at...
Well, it DID look like a satellite, but it also looked a lot like a sculpture, and a lot like a giant robot from a cartoon, and in the way the solar panels were arranged and the case body constructed, it also looked a bit like a dragon.
"Hiiiii, Five!" Seven greeted her brother cheerfully.
The machine responded by pointing a very large telescopic lens at Alec. It was the same machinery as within Seven's eyes, but singular and on a much larger scale, behind an orange-tinted lens.
It beeped once, and then switched to a human voice.
"... Yo, can I shoot 'im now?"

It took Alec a couple seconds before his brain registered what the heck just happened. Slowly he turned around, and staring him in the face was a very real, very large, very angry looking optic lens. Alec looked over the makeup of 5, and after silently appreciating the aesthetic beauty he had for a few seconds, Alec slowly spoke to Seven without breaking eye contact with Five. "....umm, is he always this cheery, or is he just happy to see me?"

"Yep!" Seven confirmed unhelpfully.The satellite began to glow, and transform and shrink in an exquisitely precise manner. What was then standing before Alec and Seven was a young man, with freckles and blond hair, and wearing a hoodie and jeans - and perhaps the most annoying smirk on the planet.
"Seveeeeen," he drawled, side-stepping Alec and hugging his sister. "What the hell you doin' down here still rollin' round in the dirt? Ain' he sent you back up yet? What a fuggin' loser."Seven gasped, scandalized. "You can't talk about Master Ialo like that!"Five scoffed. "He ain' gon' find out."

Alec's eye twitched ever so slightly at Seven's comment, and then just a bit more at Five's HORRIBLE accent. If Ialo was trying to be funny, this was anything but. Five had to be... the worst Wigger he had ever heard. Worse than Eminem even. It was.... bad. Simply and purely.
But Alec was more concerned with the fact that Five had offered to shoot him earlier, and was curious as to why. So Alec calmly walked up to Five and tapped him on the shoulder a couple times. "Yeah, hi. Um, I'm Alec by the way. Sooo... WHY did you want to shoot me, exactly?"

Neither hearing nor seeing a response from her headmistress, Lin decided that she must be busy right now and her message would be recorded for the headmistress to play later.
She closed the portal, the drop of water absorbing back into her pendant, and then put the pendant back around her neck. The loud rushing sound ceased as soon as the portal was gone. For most people, a ringing sound in the ears would be left over. Not for an elf, though. The sound did not bother the elves.
Once her pendant was back on, Lin resumed making the potion.

Five scowled and swatted away Alec's hand. "b***h, I know who you are. You the scumbag putting his hands all over my sister! Man, who the hell you think you are? Don' fuggin' touch me, I don't wanna hafta deal with yo' grimy lil' prints. Unless you dead, I can deal with that."
"Oh my - Five, no, stop that! He's helping!"
"b***h please! DID YOU HEAR HIM?" Five stood up straight, with a hand on his hip and his other hand in front of him, wrist hanging limply. "So, like, I'm gon', like, bet er'rything that I don' fuggin', like, OWN, cuz it's, like, not mine an' I'm gay an' I think it's a good idea."
He glared at Alec.
Seven clasped her hands and stared at her feet. Oh god... she just couldn't look.... this was mortifying!

Five had just hit a nerve that Alec hardly ever had hit before. Alec spun Five around bodily by the shoulder, and as soon as his pretty little blonde face was staring at his he wound up and decked him square in the nose, putting a bit more oomph into it by making his hand completely encased in reinforced steel. Alec couldn't be sure, but he was almost positive he heard the faint sound of something cracking.
Immediately after Alec let his hand drop until it was pointing an accusing finger at Five's face. "Look, I don't care if she is your sister, and I REALLY don't care if you think it's cool to talk like that. You do NOT call her a b***h! Is that clear!?"
